While You Were Dead Asleep Last Night, Something Totally Epic Went Down in Nairobi Courtesy of Subway Kenya. The Likes of Sharon Mundia and Neomi Ng’ang’a Were Part of It

So last night something very epic went down in Nairobi, relax….another socialite didn’t pose topless but the capital happened to be part of a revolution…the first premier of Star Wars; The Force Awakens.

And just to show you just how massive this was, it was the first time the film was showing in Africa and before many other parts of the world, Los Angles the home of movies included. The film franchise enjoys a worldwide following of more than 600 million loyal fans who would strangle you if you discredited anything about the film.

I was one of the lucky attendants to be part of the launch which was all courtesy of Subway Kenya, the American Franchise which is quite popular for their dainty sandwiches and as I came to find out, Star Wars too.

They are the only restaurant partnering with what was deemed the most anticipated film of the year and which clearly understands the attachment you have to the franchise. For the last couple of months, they have been urging you to visit their very many outlets spread across town to find your unique flavor and feel your inner Jedi with a wide selection of unique collectibles which you will definitely love.

Last night I for example got a special branded cup with Lupita Nyong’o herself who is part of this year’s cast only for Neomi Ng’ang’a the sultry One FM presenter to take it away….I will find you…you! Who was also in attendance.

Fashion blogger and radio host Sharon Mundia was also there looking larger than life while in the company of her colleague, the food connoisseur Susan Wong. The music was also coming in nice and slow courtesy of G Money from homeboyz radio. That with a touch of Jameson ginger, some delicious sandwiches and some cool peeps went along way to prep us for the big extravaganza which I bet changed the lives of many, especially the diehard fans.
