Who Exactly Is Radio Taifa, and Why Are They The 2nd Largest Radio Station In Kenya?

Started in 1953, KBC’s Radio Taifa is currently one of Kenya’s most trendy radio stations.

It was initially known as African Broadcasting Service whose job was to  inform people on what was happening at the war front.

Last year it beat Over a 100 radio stations in Kenya to emerge number two most listened show in Kenya.This was according to research done by the Kenya Audience Research Foundation (KARF).It had a with a mammoth listenership of 5.1 Million listeners as of the second quarter of the year 2013

Here is why Radio Taifa emerged among the top,it has a wide reach that stretches from Limuru all the way to Namanga and Garsen.
