Who Said Kenyan Cops Can’t be Professional Singers? This One Will Wow You!
Quoting Founder & Frontman of a Rock Band, Jon Bon Jovi, ‘Nothing is as important as passion. No matter what you want to do with your life, be passionate.’
And this is exactly what a Kenyan administrative police officer, Seith Masiga lives by.
Seith or Massiger as he is famously known by his fans, has strive tirelessly for his song to be recorded even after failed attempts due to lack of recording studios and facilities. And at last he did, he has two singles under his name this far. Talking about the producers, the officer had A LOT to say!
“As much as there are many music talents out there, some Kenyan producers have become a big hindrance in the upcoming artists quest for musical development, I went through the experience while I was trying to find the best studio and producer I could work with. The first studio I went to (Popular) took three months to complete recording my audio, I was almost giving up! So I decided to change studios, thinking the change would be better, but I was shocked!! The next producer I worked with sold me the impression that he is mature and well-coordinated. The guy went with my hard earned money, I was devastated to say the least. I tried getting hold of him on numerous occasions in hope of him finishing my project, but nothing was forthcoming. At this point, I contemplated to give up on music altogether, the failed attempts were weighing me down.
Thanx to the people around me, I reconsidered my decision, and approached Ogopa Djs with whom I found all that I needed and all that suits me. I have never looked back. I am contented and happy to say the least.”
