Why are we killing people on Twitter?

In African culture it’s a taboo not to wish for someone’s death even if he’s the devil himself. I was amazed why people on social media are killing others, this not the first time we read on twitter that one is dead and yet they are alive.

This week, the most trending story on twitter was the death of Zimbabwean president Robert Mugabe, who was hospitalized in Singapore, yet he was alive and was discharged from hospital on Tuesday this week.

Even if he has done more harm than good to his people, this does not give people the right to kill him while he’s still alive.

We understand that Mugabe himself said that he has resurrected more times than Jesus Christ thus killing himself first, but still let’s uphold our African culture.
