Why Comedian Sleepy’s Birthday Will Go Down In History As One Of The Greatest On Kenyan Soil

Lots of celebrities celebrated their birthdays this May, from the likes of Avril, King Kaka, Chipukeezy and now Sleepy.

On Monday, Chipukeezy was a hot topic on news outlets thanks to what he did prior to his birthday.

Yesterday, Chipu’s fellow comedian, Sleepy, turned a year older. Unlike Chipukeezy’s birthday which was overhyped on social media, Sleepy’s was a low tone event but it had far reaching effect.

Sleepy demonstrated a new and acceptable way of celebrating birthdays. The comedian decided to celebrate his big day with the less fortunate.

Sleepy visited Mama Fatuma Children’s Home in Eastleigh to share the joy of clocking another year with the kids there. He was accompanied by Bahati, Owago, Eddie Butita, Obinna among others.

The comedian carried his birthday cake to the Children’s home, it was the kids that sang him birthday song as he cut the cake.
