Why Shaffie Weru Was Picked To Replace Caroline Mutoko (Photo)

In a duration of about a year, we have seen two radio queens hang up their microphones.

First it was Ciku Muiruri of the ‘Busted’ fame and now mornings with Caroline Mutoko will be no more. Caroline would be leaving the station but not radio Africa group as she will be assuming a grander role in the media conglomerate.Caroline’s show will now be hosted by Kiss 100’S Drive Show hosts Shaffie and Kalekye.

 I’m sure a few of you are wondering why The Rush Hour duo was picked to replace the radio queen.A Radio Africa insider revealed that Shaffie and Kalekye were the best picks for the morning show since Shaffie is very trusted by Radio Africa Management. They hope that him coming on the show will restore the ratings to Kiss 100 breakfast show whose audience had become too small to justify the high advertising prices.
