Willy Paul Speaks Out After Allegedly Storming Out Of Groove Awards Following His Loss To Bahati
On June 6th, the most important event in the Gospel Industry, the 10th edition of Groove Awards went down at Safaricom Stadium in Kasarani.
The man of the night was Bahati who did not only win one but scooped all the four awards in all the categories he had been nominated in beating out his arch-rival Willy Paul. According to Pulse Willy Paul went home dejected after leaving the joint as empty as he came in.
Even his post on Facebook indicated that he was distressed after his loss:
Morning, its a wonderful day that the Lord has made… yesterday alot went down… winners were crowned and those that didnt win like me were there to support them… congratulations to all the groove awards … I thought I would win ata moja…. but guess I was wrong God had other plans.. we are all human being’s and weve got feelings so sometimes when things dont go the way we expect,,,,,, we get hurt…. but the spirit is to always keep working hard….
