Yet Another Secular Celebrity ‘Sees The Light’!

The Gospel wave is sweeping the showbiz scene fast and furious. It all began with queen of Chakacha herself, Faridah who quit gyrating her hips to the chakacha beat and started doing so for the Lord. Then followed the sassy Size 8 who decided to ‘piga shetani mateke’. She was closely followed by queen of Genge, Lady Bee who shed the title and turned to the Lord.

And now…yet another industry stakeholder, has heed the call and decided to turn a new leaf over. On Monday, events’ organizer Buddha Blaze was on Monday baptized at the Mavuno Church. The hip-hop junk declared that he’s now a new man admitting, “Probably the best decision I’ve ever made”, immediately after being immersed in the holy water.

SanaaYETU reports that Blaze was all emotional after the baptism taking to Twitter and Facebook to thank everybody.

“Thanking all my pals that came out to see me get renewed. My rebirth. My new birthday is today. Lets celebrate. Thanks to my friends who came through to witness my baptism. Buddha Blaze under new management,” he wrote.

“Thanks to everyone of my friends who has been there for me through the tough times. The tough times have made me wiser and I believe the wiser the better. Today was a great day for a rebirth. I feel brand new. I feel colossal.” Stay colossal Blaze.

Buddha Blaze is known pretty well in the Kenyan entertainment scene. He was first introduced to us as the guy working on the then revolutionary product that was PHAT Magazine. The product exposed the showbiz arena and really was one before its time.
