Yet Another Sultry Tanzanian Singer Signed By Popular Kenyan Record Label

After signing the likes of Mr Nice and the highly talented and sexy singer and actress, Baby Madaha,Kenya’s Candy n Candy Records has nabbed yet another huge Tanzanian ‘catch’.

Her name is Virginia Nyokabi aka Shilla Virgy Shilavee who is originally from Kenya. Her journey in music started at the tender age of twelve. At school festivals and churches choir.Together with her twin sister they would get the crowd in frenzy thanks to their glorious voices. Unfortunately her musical journey wither twin sister came to a cruel halt after her sister passed away a moment Virgy describes as “the hardest moment of her life”

She gave up music and decided to move out of the country to change her environment but later moved back to Kenya and ventured into business .Music then was nothing but a pipe dream for her. Knee-deep in her business endeavors, a friend confided in her hat her business would boom in Tanzania and she relocated to the 255 with hopes that her dreams would come true. Little did she know that her journey to a foreign country would make more than one dream come true. Virgy started singing in Tanzania and soon Candy N Candy came her way and now she is the latest signee to the thriving record company

When Shilla is not singing or running a successful business, you will probably catch her watching movies; her favorite genre is comedy and drama. Virgy describes herself as open minded, simple and charming and a musical force to reckon with
