Apart from our celebrated athletes, Lupita Nyong’o and Barack Obama (to a small or large extent, depends with how you see it) who are making the country’s name famous on the global scene, Kenyan rapper, King Kanja, is also struggling to fly the nation’s flag high on the international music arena.

Just a couple of weeks ago, the Kenyan international artist in the diaspora was rubbing shoulders with the iconic Hollywood actor, Will Smith.

It seems King Kanja wasn’t done with international spotlight just yet. The rapper has been added on the list of global artists who will be performing at the 2015 SXSW Music festival.

South by Southwest (SXSW) Music and Media Conference, is the world’s leading music industry event that offers the absolute best mix of musical performances from over the entire world.

Kanja will be sharing the same stage with We the Best Music Group, Cash Money Records and Def Jam Recordings’ rapper, Ace Hood.

The ‘Bugatti’ hit maker will also be gracing the same event King Kanja will be performing at though they have different schedules of performance. Even so, Kenya is still very proud of King Kanja to represent the country at the global concert.
