You’ll Never Guess Who Stole The Show At The Groove Awards Nominations

The Groove Awards Nomination Night went through on Tuesday without a hitch.

The celebs came out in their gospel swag and MoSound entertainment as usual were amazing with their superior event technology on display. Who did the night belong to? Was it Gloria Muliro, with her 6 nominations? No. Was it AntoNeoSoul, the only secular artist to be nominated? No. It was Mzee Jalang’o Mwenyewe.

The comedian brought the house down with a skit he did for a comedy segment called “Cowseye.” It was basically like Bullseye, but for entertainment. The crowd went wild during the whole show, but people went BALLISTIC when he brought out a comparison of DK Kwenye Beat’s before and after photos. Turns out DK used to be thin before the fame!

I have been informed that the segment was so impressive that a media house immediately got into talks with Jalas after the nominations about making it into a fully fledged show. More on that to come shortly…
