In The Forest: Gerald Langiri Asks Director Which Actress Was Better In Bed!

In the Forest is back this week and guess who Gerald decided to interview? Elizabeth Nyaga’s Husband! Who?

HISTORIA_LOGO.jpg

If you have been following these webisodes, then you know that Gerald kept calling Lizz Njagah Elizabeth Nyaga! Vengeance is best served cold, or so Gerald thought. For Lizz walking out on him, he got her husband to be interviewed! But this interview was strange as strange can get! First of all why are there two people on the set? And two, how do you ask a man who was better in bed among the three actresses he supposedly dated! Esh!

alex_1.jpg

Yes, Alex of course decided to turn the tables on the host, when Gerald thought he could score with Lizz. He, was called, wait for it, a gorilla!. I kid you not. You do realize Gerald is chubby, so that was a clear below the belt kinda comment. Yikes! Watch the episode below and see for yourself. Thank God the tissue producing sponsor pulled out! I hope you watched last week’s episode, where he talked to Nice Githinji about kissing girls and ‘touching herself.’

Tujuane Moved From Friday To Tuesday. Why Now?

So news is reaching us that Tujuane is moving from it’s lucrative Friday evening slot to a rather nondescript Tuesday slot.

The show will be aired on Tuesday from 8-9, and when I saw this, it begs the question, “Why?” Tujuane was forming itself into a really big brand, especially amongst twenty-something Kenyans(on Twitter). Who can forget the Mirfat episode, which now has over 350,000 views on YouTube.

From my knowledge of the TV industry, shows are usually moved in order to align them in direct competition with similar. That’s why “Mali” was moved to the exact slot as “Lies That Bind.”

Now when I look at the programs that appear on other channels on Tuesday evening, I only see “Tahidi High” as serious competition for Tujuane. But Tahidi has fallen off ever since the original cast moved on. It’s no competition for Tujuane, which always becomes the top trending topic on social media when it airs.

This move, all in all is very baffling, but it remains to be seen whether #tujuane’s brand is strong enough to weather this change. What do YOU think? Is this moved informed or idiotic? Leave your responses in the comment section below:

Watch The Bi Kidude Video That Got A Million Hits On Youtube!

East Africa recently lost one of its musical icons. Tributes poured in from many parts of the world for Bi Kidude, owing to the popularity that she enjoyed.

Bi Kidude was known for living her life like she chose. That is what set the oldest musician apart from many of her ‘peers’ so to say.

http://www.uaacc.habari.co.tz/images/bi%20kidude%203.JPG

Bi Kidude was born Fatuma binti Baraka (aka Bi Kidude) in Zanzibar. Her village of origin was Mfagimaringo, she the daughter of a coconut seller. She was hailed as the undisputed queen of Taarab and Unyago music. It is said she studied under the tutelage of Siti Binti Saad and was her protégé. It is said that her exact date of birth is unknown, much of her life story uncorroborated, thus giving her an almost mythical status.

In 2005, Bi Kidude received the prestigious WOMEX award for her outstanding contribution to music and culture in Zanzibar. Sadly, the doors of breath closed on her on 17th April 2013, “inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi rajiun.” May she rest in peace.

The video below is by Offside trick featuring Bi Kidude. Offside trick are the guys that gave you the popular number called Kididu Mtu. The members are Hammer Q, Mudacris and Lil Ghetto. The song is Ahmada.

No More Sex For Size 8

Size 8 appeared on Straight Up for an interview discussing her newfound gospel status.

So far, the girl has been on a media trailblazing journey, telling people all the changes she has made to her life. Now in the latest, greatest twist of the tale, she has announced, “I regret losing my virginity. I believe the youth should abstain from sex.”

Wow Size 8. How will all the men who have banged you feel about this sudden regret? So inconsiderate.

Jokes aside, now Size 8 says she will be practising secondary virginity, so no sex for her now until she finds THE ONE.

Kidum To Marry A Second Time

Kidum has announced that he is getting married for a second time.

This comes after his separation with his first wife(and the mother of his children). They divorced after allegations of extra-marital affairs. “I now have a girlfriend who is taking care of my children. Soon we will get married,” Kidum said on a Radio Maisha interview. “My wife and I are done. I have moved on to a Kikuyu girl from Bungoma. She has never been involved in my music career though.”

Kidum however, avoided giving up details on the exact date of the wedding, citing that he believes marriage is a personal thing.

He also has an ongoing project, the winners from it get 100,000 bob. Read about that here!

Juliani, happy birthday,

From health may you never stray.

The end. Speaking of Juliani, read about the lady that sang the chorus to bahasha ya Ocampo here.

Top Coast Producer: MCSK Is Ripping Us Off!

A disgruntled music producer from the coast, this morning took to his Facebook account to externalize about the MCSK.

The early morning vent by Tabasam Records’ Bably A. Omar was rather candid. I have quoted the post verbatim below.

“MCSK ati collecting royalt they are ripping us OFF..I have been a composer and a producer for 13years never ever received a cheque for the work I have done . SOLUTION
1. we need to have our own Mombasa county collection point for the royalties to benefit the artist ,promoters and composer in MOMBASA
2. Artist and producers and Promoters in The MOMABASA COUNTY need to come together to make number 1 work.
3. Our Governer MR HASSAN ALI JOHO should put it as on of his priority agendas to make sure number 1 works
4. If number 1 does not work then we are done”

http://www.mcsk.or.ke/sites/all/themes/mcsk/logo.png

Tagged in the post were other top players in the Coastal musical circles, a clarion call I presume. MCSK the producer has a bone to pick with you, what say you?

Women Inject Heroin In Their Vaginas In This Documentary On Mombasa’s Drug Abuse

K24 have been going H.A.M in their quest to become a media powerhouse, ever since their owner, Uhuru Kenyatta, became the President of the Republic of Kenya.

Now aside from poaching talent from other media houses, they are now coming out with their own brand of hard-hitting original content. Just as KTN has Jicho Pevu, which recently ‘busted’ Ciku Muiruri cuddling with an Artur Brother, K24 have released a major expose documentary, entitled “How High?” chronicalling the endemic drug menace in Kenya’s Mombasa city. The drug menace in Mombasa has escalated in its proportions. Drugs and their uptake have become rife and are visibly affecting lives of the residents in Mombasa. Belinda Obura interviews a young lady and gives us a shocking insight into the extreme extents that these users go to get a high:

Gospel Artist Involved In Road Accident.

Gospel artist Kimdanny Masivo, just informed our team that he was involved in a road accident at around 9am on Saturday morning.

While driving along Mombasa road, he said that that was when the unfortunate accident happened. Luckily, he only escaped with minor injuries on his legs. We as the Ghafla team wish him a speedy recovery. Kimdanny is signed to Dreamland Entertainment company, and is the director of Waziri Media. It handles printing, designs, photography and I.T related issues. He is a Talanta and Mwafaka Awards nominee.

A while back I did report of yet another accident, affected was dad to both Holy Dave and Joey Muthengi. Read about that here.

After Marya Rejected His Sex Request, Mwafreeka Comes Out With A New Video

For those of you who commit the cardinal sin of not reading Ghafla, let me bring you up to speed on the whole Marya-Mwafreeka story:

Once upon a time, hip hop legend Mwafreeka extended a request to the beautiful songstress Marya, that they have sexual relations, despite her recently putting on several kilos. Marya responded to this request in kind, telling Mwaf in a roundabout way that she was not interested.

The rapper has now released a new video about his troubled childhood: dropping out of school, disappointing his mother and living with an alcoholic father who found his way to jail among other issues.

Stronga is a dedication to his father, Sospeter Ouma Ogada who  ultimately died in 1996. The track features Penya Africa’s Dela, who has featured in tracks with Sauti Sol and Mzungu Kichaa and is working on her sophomore album following her debut, Paukwa. Check out Stronga below.

Sanaipei Unequivocally Refutes Marriage Rumors Started By The Nairobian

Two weeks ago, the Nairobian wrote a story that claimed Sanaipei Tande was set to get married.

Sanaipei, who recently sang an election peace song, came out to refute the rumors on her blog, saying:

“The Nairobian newspaper has once again proven that one of the few mediums of information that we rely on for the truth is unreliable and inaccurate. The article insinuating that I might be tying the knot soon is false in its entirety. I want to assure my fans that if and when any such events are in progress, this will be the first place you hear it from.”

Shame on you, Nairobian. Coming from the same media house that throws accusations at Ghafla! about poor quality assurance, you seem to have forgotten the log in your eye.

Avicii hinted that he might be coming to Kenya. Might. More here.

And finally, see what party was the hottest last week.

Avicii Hints At An Upcoming Kenya Concert

For those who don’t know, Avicii is one of the world’s top House DJs. His song “Levels” was one of the most (over)played songs last year. Worse still, when Flo Rida sampled “Levels” for his song “I Got A Feeling,” it was like everywhere you went, the music mix had to play “Oh, sometimes, I get a feeling,” at some point.

{youtube}_ovdm2yX4MA{/youtube}

Anyway, today, Avicii sent out an amazing announcement to all his Kenyan fans through his Facebook page, saying,

“Hey KENYA! What do YOU think about the new album songs? I would love to hear YOUR thoughts specifically!

https://soundcloud.com/aviciiofficial/avicii-promotional-mix-2013

Hope to see you soon!

House music fans are speculating that since the impending Mat Zo concert is generating so much hype in Kenya, that has picked Avicii’s interest in also visiting our beloved country. For now, Avicii fans and followers can leave their thoughts on his new album here.

This Is The Hottest Party There Is Today!

Ladies and gentlemen, tonight is an epic night! It’s one of those nights when there is a plan anywhere you turn. My phone has been blowing up with people either inviting me for a party or people asking where the party is at and I’ve told all of them the same thing; I’m headed up to The Mingle then from there all roads lead to Santa Fe in Westlands at The Mall.

Tonight is infectios Saturday and the DJs are Trancic and Nitto and they promise you nothing but the hottest Afro, Pop and House jams out right now. And believe me when I say they will keep you dancing all night long.

And there are special offers on shots and tots going at 150/-. Yep, that covers Jack Daniels, Johnnie Walker Black, Jameson and J&B and sheesha is only 600/- so you have no excuse not to attend -if only for the music and sheesha. And you don’t have to worry about lining your tummy with food because they offer meals at very affordable rates and trust Uncle Chim Tuna when I say they are tasty.

With that said and done, I’ll see you at Santa Fe later tonight!

You’ll Never Guess Who Does All The Voices For Kulahappy

So far, the people behind the Kulahappy series have been behind the scenes, but these attempts at secrecy have proved futile, once a Ghafla!Investigation was done.

My efforts at finding out who are the people behind this series led me along a trail that pointed to one Nick Odhiambo being the voice of one of the characters, especially the Jaluo ones. When I confronted him about this, he BROKE DOWN* and admitted to me that he was indeed the voice of not only the Jaluo “Prof Pap” series, but also the all new Wambua series, which follows the life of one of the naughty students in Prof Pap’s class. In Wambua, he does all the voices, except for when the occasional female character is needed.

I heartily recommend this series, and it’s worth your time if you’re good for a laugh. Click here to watch “Wambua.”

*Come on, he didn’t break down. Have you seen the guy? He’s HUGE

Troubled Skies Loom For Citizen As High Court Dismisses Royal Media Services Law Suit!

It would seem the storm is far from over as far as Royal media services is concerned! This is after the High Court judge Lydia Achode threw out a case they had filed against the CCK.

The lawsuit was in reaction to the Communication Commission of Kenya shutting down the stations transmitters in various parts of the country.
Actually, the CCk had already begun the process when
Royal Media rushed to court and obtained the orders on February 3, a day before CCK director general Francis Wangusi said top managers of the media group would be charged in court for using frequencies illegally.

SK Macharia hadn’t prepared himself for this kind of judgement as his media company had applied for permanent orders to quash the decision to prosecute its officials and return all seized opportunities.

CCK had earlier obtained orders from the chief magistrate’s court on January 30 to shut down the transmitters serving Citizen television viewers in Embu, Taita Taveta, Muranga and Migori as well as radio listeners in Nakuru, Narok, Mukuyuni (Makueni) and Mabrui (Malindi).

Meet The Disarmingly Beautiful Diaspora Songstress Miriam Chemoss!

There’s no denying that this lady is stunning! And the best part is that she can actually sing! Before I share her latest project, lemmi share a bio of her from her Facebook page.

Multi-talented artist Miriam Chemmoss hails from East-Africa. She spent her formative years between Tanzania and Kenya where she was steeped in a potent brew of her family’s diverse African, European and Middle-Eastern cultural heritage.

In 1998 Miriam was awarded a full scholarship by Waldorf College, a liberal arts school in Forest City, Iowa. She studied Theater/Music and Media Studies (Print, Electronic and Digital), which prepared her well for the performance arts scene in Washington, DC, where she would later move in 2001 upon graduation.

By late 2002 Miriam had taken part in several regional theatrical shows in Washington, DC, hosted her own radio show – “Retrospect” at Voice of America Broadcasting Services – and would later be featured in the CBS hit Television series “The District” in 2003. Miriam was also featured in several independent films such as “Refuge”, “Mirrors” and “To Sleep With Anger”.

In 2004 Miriam moved to New York City to further her stage aspirations. Shortly after, she landed numerous Off-Broadway shows, additional independent films, dramaturge work with Disney Theatricals in New York and Los Angeles and both supporting and lead roles on television pilots such as “Ya Maafrika” and “Bedford Diaries”. Her full acting repertoire includes Local and Regional Theater, Off-Broadway, Musicals, Film, Television, Print, Radio, Industrials, Voice-overs and Webcasts.

In late 2005 Miriam recorded “LOVE IN REVERSE”, followed by the release of her commercial single “RUDI” in early 2007. A Swahili love anthem which literally means “come back”, “RUDI” is an enchanting classic that topped the charts and countdowns of several radio stations in urban markets all over the world: BBC Radio (UK), SARFM (New York), VOICE OF AMERICA (Washington, DC), Hot 96 FM, KISS FM, CAPITAL FM (Kenya), SANYU FM (Uganda), GHANA CHOICE FM, and others. “RUDI” earned Miriam much credit as a songwriter and performer.

Over the last two years, Miriam has recorded a new album and is currently planning her second, highly-anticipated release. Her music, much like her cultural heritage is a fusion of many sounds; it beautifully blends Afro-pop, Reggae, R&B, Hip-Hop, Soul, Rumba and Zouk, giving her a wide musical audience.

See Who Won The Sema Radio Free Video Challenge!

I told you that Sema Radio would be unveiling the winner of the free video later today!

Well they have, and the winner is Kitty! The dashing damsel is a finance and banking student. Congratulations miss, I for one can’t wait to see the video, and figure out what about you caught their eye. Read the earlier story here.

Sema Radio Wants To Shoot A Music Video For You. FREE.

According to Sema Radio’s Beatrice, they were looking at a couple of things. Young Media Foundation’s board of directors, painstakingly listened to every song submitted. As they adage goes, the ‘contestants’ were neck to neck, in the proverbial tight race.

Kitty however trounced all her ‘opponents’ to emerge the winner of this monthly deal! She has an all round voice, and even submitted a well done bio detailing her arduous journey to making it in music. Great stories are made of this! Thankfully Se,ma Radio and Young Media Foundation are giving her her first shot at stardom. She also earns herself a full makeover, as well as a chance to re-record her song. To top it all she gets a proffessionally done video! Well in Sema Radio., this is very laudable.

Orange CEO And DayStar Students Do The Harlem Shake!

I was tagged in this video and again I thought I was being punked!

Well thanks to Isaac Gabantu, I even got the details as to what transpired prior to the shooting of this vid!

The communication students had gone for a meeting at The Headquarters. It had Had to do with what customers think about their products. During The meeting, it became imperative that the CEO should make and appearanc eand that he did. The atmosphere tense, he came off as a tad bit too uptight and boring and the students had an idea up their sleeve. The result? Harlem shake to loosen things up! He surprisingly obliged.

He alone has the details, so it’s only fair that i use his words verbatim. “We are launching a gospel music talent search dubbed ‘VipaG – The Season of African Praise’. The talent search is probably the biggest gospel talent search of its kind, to have been organized in East and Central Africa. The talent search is open to aspiring gospel singers, rappers, spoken word artists, bands, dance crews, choirs and praise and worship teams.  The winner of VipaG will be rewarded with a grand prize of Kshs 1,000,000 and the title of “Kenya’s Next Gospel Music Sensation”.” Hold up, WHAT!

“The show has no age limits. Registration for audition is on going, and audition registration forms can be found at www.vipagshow.com. The deadline for registrations is 15th May 2013. Auditions will be held in Nairobi, from the 24th to 26th May 2013. During auditions, the participants will undergo training which will cover areas such as copyright and contract laws, branding as well as how to turn music into a business.” Still with me?

Audition charges are Kshs 400 for individuals, and Kshs 300 per person in a group. The talent search is divided into a number of stages, which will run from auditions to group stages, quarter finals, semi finals and then the Grand Finale to be held in a live concert on 20th October 2013.

The whole competition will be tapped and will be appearing as a TV show in a Kenyan TV station beginning of July 2013. The talent search promises lots of entertainment for Kenyans and especially the Christians. The show is created by Joe Muburi and directed by Joy Obuya”

Want to win Kshs 1,000,000? Audition!

Uncle Chim Tuna Responds To Pulse Writer Who Attacked Ghafla! In Today’s Pulse!

Before we begin, allow me to say that I respect Pulse Magazine. Period. I however have no respect for the writer that writes under the nom de guerre “Esscalibar”. I used to read the segment when it was written by her predecessor and I have to say that I used to enjoy it.

When the writers changed I kind of didn’t bother anymore. And before she goes off an a tangent about not reading my work on Ghafla!, allow me to point out that today’s submission is about just that. I only read the segment today because someone called me to inform me about it. With that said, it’s time to check she-egoes.

Today’s write up was a thinly veiled attack on Ghafla!. Granted, no names were mentioned but that’s only because the writer was too scared to take shots like a vertebrate. She took exception at some photos I posted on Ghafla! of two girls at NaxVegas kissing. Photos I got off the Pulse’ own facebook page. here’s what she said:

“With blogs pushing the rumour mill world to a whole new high without having to care about the damage or consequences they may have to face from their “caught-out” celebrity victims… (ad nauseum)”

I’m guilty as charged there. The exact amount of concern I have about the consequences one’s own intelligent actions have on them are equivalent to number of titles my beloved Liverpool will win this season. Nil. Nay! I care about the consequences to these people as much as the number of lumbar vertebrae esscaliber has. None.

Meet The NaxVegas Sisters, and Find Out Why They Were Kissing In Public

<notice the watermark>

(You can read the story I am referring to here) I atleast give my names and contacts on Ghafla! so that when something erroneous is written up I can be contacted and a correction and apology is made. You write under a rather cliche pseudonym. Esscalibar.

Esscalibar went on to say, “Sometimes I think the people who write such gossip blogs are heartless”. I am actually not. The Ghafla! team and I enjoy long walks on the beach as we recite poetry about rainbows, unicorns and fairies as we skip into the horizon hand in hand as the sun sets.

No. I’m as cold and frigid as can be. I am the hatchet man. When a dirty job needs doing, I get it done. Do I enjoy it? Sometimes. Is it necessary? Yes. Do I feel remorse when I post articles about indiscretion? Not when the parties involved have attained the age of majority. For goodness sake, if you’re old enough to vote, you are old enough to reflect on the consequences of your actions.

If I drink and pass out naked, post that picture. Will I get angry? Yes. At you? No. At my friends for leaving me in such a state. I was angry at Robert Alai for posting this alleged picture of me because I was not at Blankets and Wine. Did anyone care that this wasn’t a picture of me? No. Did I cry and moan? No.

Robert_Alai.jpg

And you can read that story here.

I put that picture on Ghafla!. It went super viral. Mother Teresa and the whole host of saints blew up my phone trying to infect me with warm fuzzy feelings and marshmallows so I would take down the picture. They soon realized their efforts were in vain. Here’s a hint though, when you want to appeal to Ghafla!’s humanity, call Kibali Moreithi. He’s the only good guy. The rest of us are rational. Where emotions reign, there can be no objectivity.

If a story runs about a celebrity’s extra marital affairs and there is damning evidence, you can be sure that story will be written by either Mista Majani or myself. Am I therefore guilty of destroying that person’s marriage? No. Will I feel bad? Only the guilty feel bad.

The way I was raised, love and fuzziness is a privilege for only those I hold dear.

“Having watched this, I can only sympathize, not only with the rumoured celebrities, but also with the real investigative showbiz writers whose credibility is sometimes put on the line when bloggers borrow from their items and blow the them out of proportion (blah blah blah)”

Dennis Oliech’s Mum Admitted To Hospital Due To Cancer.

This is the kind of story that I hate to write about, the heart wrenching kind that makes you feel like the sacred is torn from life. .

Collins Okinyo, a reporter for supersport.com reported yesterday that Dennis Oliech’s mum is suffering form terminal cancer. This is yet another twist to the Oliech family saga.
He reported that that Harambee Stars’ player’s mother, Mary Auma Oliech is admitted at Urgenes Hospital IN Ambroise France.

He went on further to state that Auma Oliech has been in and out of hospital, in Nairobi until the doctors discovered the disease. that is when they notified the family. how sad.
she was flown to France where oliech is based. she is reportedly currently under treatment with doctors saying she is making good progress.

Oliech’s sister Elsie Oliech who is taking care of the mother in hospital told supersport.com about the latest developments.

“The doctors discovered that my mother has advanced liver and lung cancer and what were are doing now as a family is keeping her in prayers and we want to thank all those that have sent get well wishes to the family which has been distraught with the sad news.” She was quoted as saying.

His other soccer-playing siblings include the late Steve Okumu who was once the top scorer in the Kenyan Premier League before leaving for the US. Others are Andrew Oyombe, Ken Oliech and Kevin Oliech. I pray that healing finds its way speedily to the mum.

Oliech currently plays for Ajaccio and is the owner of FishBone Entertainment known for some of the biggest concerts in Nairobi!

Jaya Releases Teaser Video For Her Sophomore Single!

Earlier I posted what I’d like to call part one of my interview with Jaya. She has a new song called heart right here.

Of-course that’s not enough, ya’ll will want to know more about her and I’m not about to disappoint you! I was surprised by more of what she divulged to me. Read part one of this unfolding ‘saga’ here.

Apart from David Ogola also known as D Major, she has done background vocals for other internationally renowned artistes! That list includes American-born gospel singer Deitrick Haddon. This was when he performed at the Spread The Love festival by Kijiji Records in Nairobi in October 2010. She has also sang for, wait for it, West African Idol winner Timi Dakolo (Nigeria) when he performed at a charity event for the blind in Nairobi in November 2012.

Just when I thought she was done, she told me that she also co-wrote Kanjii Mbugua’s song “Dream Again”(2010). That by the way happens to be my favorite song by Kanji after push on. I believe thats the title of that song.

She is now working on her own music with East Africa and Africa as a focus. Watch the teaser video below. It was short by Prince-Cam Media. The full video will be out next week.

Rememmber, it’s free, and commences at 7 pm. You are allowed to carry your own food to the venue, and can check in at five pm if you wish to.

The movie synopsis reads: One of the most beloved American films, this captivating wartime adventure of romance and intrigue from director Michael Curtiz defies standard categorization. Simply put, it is the story of Rick Blaine (Humphrey Bogart), a world-weary ex-freedom fighter who runs a nightclub in Casablanca during the early part of WWII. Despite pressure from the local authorities, notably the crafty Capt.

The Nest Screens Argo By Ben Affleck

Renault (Claude Rains), Rick’s cafà (C) has become a haven for refugees looking to purchase illicit letters of transit which will allow them to escape to America. One day, to Rick’s great surprise, he is approached by the famed rebel Victor Laszlo (Paul Henreid) and his wife, Ilsa (Ingrid Bergman), Rick’s true love who deserted him when the Nazis invaded Paris. She still wants Victor to escape to America, but now that she’s renewed her love for Rick, she wants to stay behind in Casablanca. “You must do the thinking for both of us,” she says to Rick. He does, and his plan brings the story to its satisfyingly logical, if not entirely happy, conclusion. ~ Robert Firsching, Rovi.

Remember Bahasha Ya Ocampo? Well Jaya Has A New Song!

The first time I met Jaya I believe was in Mombasa at Crossroads church Nyali. Astar had a concert there, and she was accompaning him on vocals.

I sought to ask two questions, what happened to Kiki the original singer in Astar’s angels? Secondly, why wasn’t she releasing her own music! It is a well known fact that Bahasha ya Ocampo, another single where she was featured by Juliani was a massive hit!

I met her again, when I was auditioning for Sauti Academy, and she didn’t seem to remember me. Le sigh. Well she’s back again, this time with her own, yes people her own song! However, just to keep you guys baited, how about listening to her debut solo tulia here.

I had to find out a few things about her and she willingly obliged.  In her own words she tells told me quite a few things I was not aware of. She came to the limelight first as a back-up vocalist for David Ogola. He was the guy with cornrows and a melodious voice in TPF. He by the way recently released a song with Yvonne Darcq.

Apparently she did yet another song with Juliani, his Climate Change song “Rauka (hatuta-survive)”, in 2009. Did you know that? Part two of this brief interview in a bit.

Below is the audio ‘video’ to her new song heart right here.

The Heineken Mingle Is Tomorrow! You Can’t Afford To Miss It!

Ladies and gentlemen, The Mingle is finally upon us. Good!

And you can add to that the fact that I love socializing so I’ll be out making some new friends and networking -in a professional capacity ofcourse.

You can still purchase tickets at 1,000/- at any Steers outlet and that will entitle you top a free bottle of Heineken beer. If you’d prefer to buy your ticket at the gate you can do so for 1,500/- and that would entitle you to 2 free bottles of beer.

With that said, read this article for more information.
