Hot Photo Of Brenda Wairimu In Tight Leather

Brenda Wairimu has a comic book coming out soon. And she has been releasing pictures of herself in costumes and what not to promote the comic book. personally I think she just needs to find a way to whisper into men’s ears that she really wants them to get themselves a copy. That alone will work!

But anyway, I just got my mitts on a very interesting picture of her in a costume that consists of tight leather… The CatWoman get up that Halle Berry wore. Check out the picture below:

Uncle Chim Tuna Presents Club Etiquette: Rules On Clubbing!

We all love clubbing! Everyone of us enjoys going out and chilling with your pals and catching some drinks as we socialize. Alternatively, some of us enjoy going out on the prowl. I salute this breed of night hunter! But whatever it is that you love about clubbing, some fools end up turning an otherwise lovely night into a messy affair.

We have met the type. maybe it’s the bouncer who got too frisky and touched your member like he is kneading dough or the lass that instigated a fight between you and her lad by chiding him about his masculinity. It could be the fool who got sloppy drunk and vomited on you. Whatever the case, Uncle Chim Tuna has the rules on etiquette that will ensure you enjoy your night out. Enjoy the read.

Urinal Etiquette

If a toilet has only 3 urinal slots, take the furthest away from the other lad. If he has taken the one in the middle, he either bats for the home team or he’s a selfish tool!
And for heavens sake, don’t try to carry a conversation at the urinals. Why would you want to talk to a man as he’s holding his member and you’re holding yours?
And if you shake it more than 3 times, you’re playing with yourself! Stop fapping in public!
Never make eye contact with anyone at the urinals. Bleurgh!

Sharing Tables
We have all faced this predicament: getting to a club and having no where to sit. If you see an empty table, don’t just plant yourself there. request permission to sit down.
Conversely, when someone asks to sit at your table, let them if the seats are empty. Or politely decline. Don’t wave your hand at them dismissively like some retarded seal attempting to do a one handed clap!
And if you do get to share the table, do not touch my drinks!

Spilling Drinks

Admittedly, mistakes happen. Sometimes we spill other people’s drinks when we didn’t mean to. Apologize and offer to replace the drink if it has all spilt.

Lipstick Lesbians

<uhm… NaxVegas anyone?>

As Kanye rapped, “Girls kissing girls/ cos it’s hot right?/ but they aint about that life! They aint about that life/ cos unless they using strap-ons then they not dykes!”
Just don’t! It was hot a minute ago with Katy Perry’s song but that is now just ratchet! Stop kissing each other then looking round to see whether people are watching! Bleurgh!

Dressing Appropriately

Lads, there is nothing cool about stepping out looking like you get your clothes from the local cowshed! That is why you rep for team fappers!
Ladies, find the balance between classy and crassy and observe it. But a rule of thumb is that the shorter isn’t always better.
And for heaven’s sake, dress your age! I’m over seeing 35 year old women trying to look 15! Bleurgh!

Personal Space
Observe it. Don’t touch me if I don’t know you. I am not your life partner! Gerrof me!
And stop creeping behind lasses who are dancing. That will earn you a server beat down!

Dancing and Mingling

Ladies if you didn’t want to come out to dance and mingle, stay at home. Nairobi ladies have this habit of getting dressed up, hitting a club then shutting down everyone who asks them to dance. Stay at home. When Uncle Chim Tuna asks you to dance, I have not proposed marriage!

Picking Fights
But alas! Just don’t. Don’t!

Getting Sloppy Drunk

If you get drunk, head home. that rule has always worked for me. If you don’t, you will end up instigating a fight and getting a foot rammed so far deep inside you that you will taste the other patron’s sole!

Asking For Drinks

A silly lass once asked me, “Drinks nazo?” I responded by sermoning the waiter and ordering for mine. He brought one. She got the hint. A lad buys you a drink not as an obligation but as a sign of appreciation for your company. You should never demand a drink! You ratchet girl!

Collo, STL And Mimmo To Launch Floss Na Wewe Video This Evening!

I don’t know that many songs that capture my attention from the get go, but Floss na wewe did.

http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ZOhKONDIWlU/T_aPGEt00DI/AAAAAAAACog/O3E2iys2Jbw/s1600/collo_main_img.jpg

This song is hella catchy, and Mimmo’s background coos give it that oomph, that wow factor! The fifties scent that has permeated this song, is very reminiscent of Msichana High class. Collo’s Msichana high class by the way, was the first song that won me cash on Kiss 100, many moons ago.

So I hear floss na wewe is being launched today, the video I mean. The venue is Aqua Blu lounge in Westlands at 6pm, red carpet, flashing lights, the whole shebang. So before that, how about you check out the behind the scene video. This video by the way was shot using an Iphone by the kissing bandit, a trend that is catching up. Whilst this is a behind the scenes video, Juliani shot a two minute long music video using an Iphone. Read about that here.

Did I make it clear it clear that I love this song? The trio of STL, Mimmo and Collo did a fantastic job with this track. The launch shall be hosted by Joey Muthengi. Watch the behind the scenes video below.

Size 8 Talks About Sex And Losing Her Virginity!

Did you know the word vanilla is derived from a hybrid between the word virgin and the female anatomy’s most treasured secret? The area that I once heard being referred to as “guava” and since then the fruit has never held any appeal for me. But that’s not what this article is about. Actually, yes, it’s exactly what this article is about: Size 8’s virginity.

of guava’s vanilla and size 8’s virginity… i’m getting carried away. Since Size 8 got saved, she has taken to speaking candidly about her life as a secular artist and her sex life hasn’t escaped the scrutiny.

I caught wind of this from Pulse magazine and here’s what the lass reportedly said on the subject:

“ Sex before marriage is sin.”

http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-WinPZp_suYY/UIA4V_fHfEI/AAAAAAAAAdg/C8ey1CuwFu0/s1600/Size8_1.jpg

And then she pressed on to say she regrets losing her virginity while she was single and still in school (can someone say one night stand scenario tings) as follows;

“I regret losing my virginity. I believe the youth should abstain from sex,”

Read Mista Majani’s  eulogy of the sexy Size 8 we used to know here.

Attention, This Linda Ogutu Page Is Fake!

There is no denying that African men and more so Kenyan ones are obsessed with voluptuous women!

That coupled with our love for beautiful women ensures that anyone who can be described as voluptuous, curvy or beautiful is bound to capture and hold the nation’s attention. Thus it is no surprise, that a common past time of Kenyans is watching news, not only for the political fodder it feeds us with, but the bevy of beauties that grace out screens!

One of them is undeniably Linda Oguttu. Notice she even spells her surname with a double t. Well I saw a status of her’s that I was gonna write about. So I decided to search for that status ,because I did not copypaste it, it was directed at women. Sadly I could not access it as we are not Facebook friends. What I did discover however, is that her Facebook page is fake! Yes, I saw a post from her real account on the wall, it reads.

“Lindah Oguttu
Stop impersonating me and using my pics and details…
Like · · 7 hours ago”

She is not the only one who has suffered this menace. So was Lulu Hassan, I wrote about it a while back. I’ve taken a print screen from the fake page’s wall, see it below, here is the link to the fake Facebook page, so that you know you have been duped!

Kagwe Mungai Releases Hot Rendition Of Ice Prince’s Oleku!

You guys know Kagwe Mungai right? If you don’t you need to slap yourselves.

Kagwe Mungai Drops Amazing Cover Art For His Upcoming Mixtape

Kagwe is the guy who gave you Dutch together with Fena Gitu. That song, is arguably one of the best Kenyan offerings in recent times, sure to be in every deejays set in these our Nairobi clubs! Well Kagwe has been busy; he in the ‘throes of passion’ musically speaking of-course. While details are scanty right now, he did tell me that he’s formed a new production/songwriting outfit together with super producer/sound engineer Jaaz Odongo. The cat shall be let out of the bag officially in the coming days. They are already working on a couple of songs with some huge artists. Whilst there is no official confirmation, I suspect that that list includes Fena Gitu and Karun. Yesterday i did report that Camp Mulla will be taking a hiatus come June. More on those details when I do receive them.

Kagwe BackWell kagwe himself being an artist, checked himself into the booth and this is the result. He did a cover of Oleku originally done by Ice Prince and Brymo. The video was directed by Miagi Films, Lavern Rutivi and edited by Arnold Omodho. The director of Kagwe Mungai Music described the video this way, “the theme is laid back, and set in a photo-shoot type scene.”

The song is from his debut mixtape, It Only Gets Better (http://bit.ly/17JqGGr)

Spanking New Music: Halaiki Featuring Kantai Present What It Takes!

A while back, Khaligraph Jones gave a glowing tribute to Kantai? Was that a premonition of things to come?

krop_cyreh.jpg

Well Kantai is back in the game. He has ‘resurrected’, and is clearly here to reclaim his rightful place! He has just been featured in a couple of songs, and here is the first!  He was approached by hala-iki family, they recorded three jams together. Kantai has also recorded solo projects, these shall be made available to to the public in due time. Hala-iki is a outfit consisting of three guys, who met while in Lenana school back in 2007. They have churned out music, encapsuled in two mix-tapes namely Halali mziki, and Musiq hegemony. That also happens to ne the name of their documentary.

http://userserve-ak.last.fm/serve/252/84846531.jpg

The video is entitled what it takes. It touched on seldom spoken about themes in hiphop, like self expression and speaking your heart out. The audio was recorded at B tunes studios, while the video was done by Fahruq. Kantai shut down the hook for the track, while K-rop and Cyreh laced their magic on the verses. Listen to this new offering below. Read that piece about Khaligraph Jones here.

Atemi, Praiz And Anto Neo-soul Thrill At Carnivore!

When I woke up on Saturday, my voice sounded like the frog I’d swallowed had hitherto swallowed a subaru. It was evident that I would not be singing along that night, but I wasn’t gonna let that dampen my spirits.

Press passes sorted, cab fare in tow, I left for Carnivore because the biggest concert in town was about to go down! It was starting to get chilly, but I for one had resolved to brave rain and hailstones if they should come, it was gonna be a great night! Of course by the time I was getting to Carnivore my voice was as raspy as gravel sounds when it wants to whisper!

Six O’clock saw us ushered in to the Simba Saloon, my first time there, and guess what greets me and Fotgeric’s Eric Saganda, the powerful voice of Atemi wrapping up her final dress rehearsal before the show! If i’d have gone home after that, my heart woulda stilll been content. Si this woman can belt! She just stands on stage, and lets it out ala Whitney Houston. I am not paying her blind loyalty, Atemi can bring it like any diva worth her salt.

The concert was delayed, I’m guessing due to to technical hitches and glitches, but the crowd which started sauntering at around seven thirty was forgiving. As I said in this article, we were waiting for this gig with bated breath, we expected fireworks and nothing else would suffice. It was finally time to be enthralled, more pictures here.

First on stage backed by his awesome band was Anto-Neosoul. His performance was shortlived, but he did stamp an indelible mark on the audience. He got the audience singing, thats a major feat when you’re the ‘ice breaker’ of the evening. This mature crowd is not easy to please, but they warmed up to him, save for a few gentlemen who looked pertubed that the ladies were hanging on to his every word.

After Anto, came the man the ladies were deliriously screaming for, Praiz Adejo. By the way people need to stop blaming me, for fueling the rumour that he and Atemi are an item! Calling him Atemi’s new man here was tongue-in-cheek, plus hey, if those screams were anything to go by, may be Atemi should make Praiz her man!

So Praiz decided that to announce himself into Nairobi’s atmosphere, he’d do a mellow piano rendition of his song. The room went from Anto-neo soul energetic, to Praiz calm in two seconds max. He crooned into that microphone as he carressed the keys on the keyboard, the ladies behind me were oowing and aahing in unison. It was a sight to behold.

Praiz wasn’t done! He decided that for the rest of the evening, he would seranade every lady that tickled his fancy in the audience. He even picked up my friend Rachel, put her on stage and ‘wooed’ her with a very beautiful rendition of I love you.  Her date for the evening, was of course the butt of many jokes during that whole performance.

Redemption song, that stupid song which he did with Bez, the John Legend-esque rich and famous, all showcased his vocals in a very no holds barred manner. His bgv whose name I didn’t manage to get even got Somoina Kimojino of Capital Fm to get on stage with what looked like twelve inch heels and boogie! Azonto!

Of-course the moment we were all waiting for, was ushered in resplendence when Atemi stepped on to the stage. A pungent air of expectation inundated the whole room, an almost eerie silence followed soon after. That, was pierced by her powerful dulcet tones as she sang “so now we raise..”, a powerful prayer. Her overflowing strapless African print dress, revealed and covered with unbridled elegance, and her yellow accesories did a wonderful job in giving her the look of an African queen.

Backed by Benjamin Webi who is undoubtedly one of the best male vocalists in Nairobi, Atemi sang us to bliss unrestrained. Her powerful rendition of Beyonce’s love on top belted in full voice showcased her vocal range, which I believe soars sky high to the fourth octave! Hitting a c6 so effortlessly, with no falsetto or embellishment is best left to operatic sopranos, and the Beyonces and Mariahs of this world. Add this lady to that list.

I loved the dialogue she would have with the audience every so often, painted colourfully with humour and a tinge of veiled sarcasm. The crowd would intermittently scream Tim Rimbui’s name, and she she would stop and ask, “you think this is a Tim and Ma3 concert? Did he pay you to come and scream his name?.. ” Very hilarious lady this one.

The band, the very very awesome band consisted of guitarists Asaph Uzele and Kato Change, drummer Brian Omondi, violinist Aaron Colverson, and on keys Tim and Aaron Rimbui. The best surprise of the night was ofcourse Eric Wainaina, who did a fantastic job singing imenibamba with Atemi. And thus Manzili state of life was birthed.

The venue was Carnivore’s Simba Saloon, and I must say it was an apt location! The most memorable moment, was when Atemi sang happy birthday to Mumbi Kaigwa. The tear jerking moment followed after, when she asked Webi the backup vocalist, to sing Mumbi happy birthday because ladies love it when men seranade them. Who needs cake right?

Manzili is on sale now. The event was sponsored by Absolut Vodka, Pine Creek Records owned by Resolution Health’s Peter Nduati and Taurus Musik.

See How Atemi, Praiz And Anto Neo-soul Thrilled At Carnivore. (Photos)

Saturday 20th April, was the day that saw Atemi unveil her new man Praiz, as well as launch her album Manzili state of life! And yes, it was awesome and then some! See some of the pictures below.

The surprise performer of the evening was of-course Anto-Neosoul. I didn’t know he was curtain raising. This concert had been postponed, thus a lot of us were waiting for it with bated breath. The pictures, you will agree are very crisp. This work of such outstanding quality is by one Eric Saganda of Fotogeric.

Attention Hip Hop Heads: Khaligraph Jones New Music Video!

Ladies and gentlemen, hip hop heads alike, welcome to good hip hop music and your host for the evening is none other than Khaligraph Jones. Away from cheap shots taken on twitter to things of substance such as good music “We Be Happening” and trust me when I say that this lad has it by the bucket!

In this new track that is destined to be a sure club banger, Khaligraph Jones takes you on a journey of interesting wordplay and clever metaphors as he spits bar after bar in his usual American twang style. And to help him deliver the track, he has enlisted the help of Kristoff whom I have to admit to only hearing of him now but I hope to hear more from.

But enough prattling on and on about the track, give it a listen below:

Photo Of The Day: Prezzo In A Jacuzzi With Two Fine Women. Was Hanky Panky Involved?

Just when I thought my week had started out just about as badly as any could, I received this picture of Prezzo having fun with 2 fine women in a jacuzzi with a bottle of champagne on deck.

was there any hanky panky involved? You tell me what you think… But isn’t it dangerous to have any alcoholic beverage with you while in a jacuzzi or hot-tub? But what does el Prezzidente care about rules? He breaks them all.

Check Out This Naughty Video Of Prezzo!

Prezzo is back with an interesting musical submission. And this one is a rather flirtatious kaleidoscope audio visual work of art. The video is to his track “LiqHer” so I’m sure you understand just what I mean!

In the video, there are some rather delectable female delights gyrating and whining seductively for el Prezidente and the one biting her finger had my mind wandering! But back to the lecture at hand, as one commenter noted, this is a rather playful and naughty video that I can confidently say is going to become the hottest jam in Kenya for a minute!

Without further ado, check it out below. And you can check out what power breakfast Prezzo had on the day of the shoot here.

Ringtone Releases Hot Video To His New Song Mungu Yupo!

Ringtone is one of those artists, who seems to understand fully all the things that pertain to his career and voice.

Many artists try to ape others, but Ringtone seems to be his own man. Remember Pamela? Talanta yangu? They were songs that took the country by storm, because they were catchy memorable singalongs!

He recently released a new song called ‘Mungu Yupo’ which is Swahili for God exists or is there. This song in my opinion will be another hit. I personally did not feel Jubilation but this one I believe will inundate our airwaves very soonl. It grows on you, it really does. Someone once said, if you wanna know if a song is gonna be a hit, play it for a child and if they love the chorus, it’s a certified hit! I’m not a child, but “najua yupo…” has been playing in my mind incessantly. Hit. The video is very well done, has a story line and theme.

Don’t take my word for it though, watch it below.

JB To Get A Job That Will Tear Him Away From His Fiancee Tina Kaggia

JB recently got engaged to Tina Kaggia, and they used to enjoy a lot of quality time together, hosting their drive show on OneFM.

Now however, their blissful time together is being threatened by a job offer that has been put on JB’s laps by a lucrative international media company. This job will entail that JB work during afternoons AWAY from Tina. Their two hours of precious alone time will be snatched from them. However, it is all made worth it by the fact that JB is being offered five times his current salary by the international media house.

We called JB to ask what his next move will be, but he could “neither confirm nor deny” the story. Will JB take the job, or will LOVE rule the day? Let’s wait and see.

Size 8 Is Ineligible For Groove Awards

After Size 8 got saved, there was huge speculation about whether she’d done it for the money and fame.

Well, if this is anything to go by, she didn’t do it for those reasons, as she will be ineligible for the 2013 Groove Awards.

Groove Awards rules are that the songs taken into consideration should have been performed last year, or late 2011. This means that Size 8’s first gospel song “Mateke,” which was released only a few weeks ago, does not fall in the time frame required for consideration.

When reached for comment, Size 8 told me, “I’m sure my fans would like to see me nominated for the Groove Awards, but it would be unfair to the other artists, and the Groove Awards is all about fairness.”

Sounds good to me. By the way, Size 8 has also said that she will not be having extra-marital sex any more after she got saved. Act like you know.

Juliani, Eric Wainaina & Frasha Endorse The Biggest Initiative To Come To Kenya!

Last year there was a video that went viral. Sierra Leone’s Kelvin Doe’s visit to MIT, it got 4.4 million times on YouTube.

http://www.innovatekenya.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Screen-Shot-2013-04-18-at-18.25.31--340x170.png

This year, the people who initiated that whole process have cast a favourable glance on Kenya’s high school students! Global Minimum, the international organization that brought fame to the engineer prodigy is launching its second national Innovation challenge. This is for high school students in Kenya.

http://www.opportunitiesforafricans.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/kenya-innovate.jpg

Global Minimum have created a system, whereby any young student in Kenya who dreams of an idea, can access a support network. Finalist teams will be selected by an internationally acclaimed panel of judges, to receive up to US$ 1500 to make try to address a well-defined local problem.

The financial support is however not the only appeal of Innovate Kenya. “We believe that mentorship and access to a big network and co-operation are essential components of any successful project”, says Francis Meyo. Global Minimum have partnered with a wide range of internationally and nationally acclaimed experts, to provide the best mentorship to the participating students. From famous Ivy League Professors and CEO’s to respected local community leaders.

Julie Gichuru Finally Addresses The Domestic Violence Rumors Using A Poem

Julie Gichuru is no stranger to gossip and rumors.

For a few years now, there have been rumors perpetuated by gossip blogs such as Media Madness that asserted that Julie Gichuru was being beaten thoroughly by her husband. In fact, Media Madness said that she once got beaten even at the office. Julie so far has avoided talking about it, but today she has responded to the accusations on her blog with some delightful prose called ‘Talk Is Cheap.’ Here goes:

First they said,

“She is married to a very old man,

A veritable sugar daddy,
What a terrible plan!”

Then they said,
“Oh she’s married to a snipper of a lad,
Shame, she robbed the cradle,
How terrible, how bad!”

Then they said,
“He beats her, she gets a whipping now and then,
How can she put up with it?
She is just a pecked hen!”

Then they said,
“That man, he is kaliwad like mad,
She controls things like a nonsense,
So shocking, so sad!”

It seems they must say something,
There’s always something to be said…
Truth means nothing to them,
But remember, keep your head…

While lies are very hurtful, causing sorrow and pain,
Your victory is that the truth quite a different game.
As you sit back and hear the contorted lies they tell,
Say thank you Lord for giving me a life so sweet and well!

And so ensure your affirmation resides within your soul –
Feeding your focus and passion, making you happy and whole.
For they will not stop the talk, it is what they do best –
But talk is cheap, and this they’ll learn when they face this very test.

For more Julie Gichuru thoughts and such, go to juliegichuru.com

Otherwise, there are other leading anchors who have been rumored to be victims of domestic violence. One Anne Kiguta was brave enough though, to come out and admit that her ex-boyfriend used to beat her badly.

Is This The End For Camp Mulla?

Camp Mulla seems to be in the news every so often. There’s no denying that they have many fans, and this news though not surprising will be heartbreaking for many of them.

Mashariki Radio, which is a States Based Online radio reported that Camp Mulla break up in June. Mashariki radio Elly Gitau spoke to Shappaman, one of the group founding members and he was told for now the split is temporary.

“There is a time at some point as a group when you feel the push to establish your individual members to the fans, and this is what we are trying to do. This may be the start of a journey to our individual solo careers but not yet. We need some more time together, but if we have to go solo, then we will have not much to do but to split. We will still be releasing more songs as a group, but we will at the same time be chucking out our solo projects. We are launching our solos this June.”

He added that the group has managed to accomplish a lot and “it’s that strength that we will be using as solo artistes.” The members according to Shappaman will be launching solo careers.

Camp Mulla are meant to perform with Snopp Dogg in May, when he performs in West Africa. Read about the performance here.

Rain, Ratchetness and Robbers Galore But Still A Fun Day At The Mingle

The Mingle. This event seems to be standing the test of time. Despite the impending signs of rain, people still came out in what seemed like a sea of bodies.

And the rain did not spare them at all. It rained cats and dogs. It rained that horizontal rain that hits you square in the face. Still the party went on.

And then there was the robbers. Almost all the status updates on Facebook and Twitter after the event were about how people had lost their phones to the unscrupulous phone theives who had an absolute field day after the event. I suspect someone became a phone millionaire from that event alone. Still the party went on.

On to the ratchetness: The point of the Mingle is to let loose and release your inner kid, so you can be sure that there were no inhibitions at this event. Worse still, this was 4/20 aka Marijuana day, so there were loads of stoned stoners hanging about. Still the party went on.

Here are the photos for all those of you who missed out:

Kenyan Circus Act Survives 85 Foot Fall In Moscow!

I just came across this bone-chilling video!

This man who happens to be Kenyan is a trapeze artist based in Moscow. As he was doing his routine, dangerous routine I must reiterate, he suddenly fell eighty five feet down! He hit the ground with a thud, something that made some audience members shriek while others were stunned into silence. An eerie silence. May be they thought it was part of the act! I hope the government gets wind of this matter and investigates.

Below is another image from the net, just so you guys have an idea of the incredibly scary stunts these guys pull. Watch the video below.
