Gospel Artiste Willy Paul Teams Up With Diamond!

Willy Paul has been literally stalked by controversy since he first burst into the limelight, but this is not holding the 19 year old back. The Gospel Artiste is set to collaborate with Tanzanian heart-throb Diamond to produce a hit song.

The young lad had earlier revealed to Mambo Mseto‘s Willy M Tuva that he would love to make music with the Tanzanian Superstar. When Mtuva asked him what type of music he would like to make with the Tanzanian ,Willy said gospel music but they could come to a compromise and make a non-secular song that would favor both artistes.

Living up to his name mzazi,Willy Tuva introduced the duo,Willy and Diamond to each other. The two stars had earlier shared a stage at the Kenyatta International Conference Centre.

Here are a few photos of the stars hanging out in Ogopa Deejay’s studio.

Want To Go To BBA? Please Remember To Avoid Douchebags Like Keagan!

I hate a man who cannot keep his gob shut! First rule of the Players Club is that we don’t talk about the players club! The second rule is that we never talk about the women we have been with. From the onset, I had always said I didn’t like Keagan. I found him soppy and manipulative.

And now add to that that he is a callous tattle tale and you will understand why I have to warn women against men like these. Keagan is the type of boy that will kiss and tell. Like a girl. Men shag and brag. Big difference. Huge difference! A man will only state names. Keagan slept with Talia who had a thing with his one time buddy, Seidou. Bro Code clearly stipulates that this can get your man card revoked.
Never sleep with your friend’s flame.

And as if that wasn’t bad enough, Keagan went on a tell tale campaign just to humiliate Seidou. This yob sung the song of the douchebag letting anyone who cared to know that he had “hit” Talia.

<Look at the sick pleasure in Keagan’s eyes as he greets a clearly perturbed Seidou>

And now he’s back, flapping his gob about his escapade with Talia and I’m just wondering why. What could give a man pleasure about humiliating another? Read the article about that here. Some men know no honour!

My only question is did he have to stir old wounds now? Isn’t he done with Seidou? Even Uganda’s Kyle had this to say about him:

Former Big Brother Contestants, Kyle & Keagan Exchange Harsh Words Online

“Here is what I have to say about what’s going on between me and Keagan…….I would never fight with him about anything for nothing. All you need to know is that he is the most unappreciative human being I ever met. Don’t get me wrong here, I don’t need his money! All i need is courtesy, just courtesy!…….and he doesn’t give a f**k about anybody not even you, his fans. I wish him the best, I can never hate him.”

Uncle Chim Tuna would like to warn any female Big Brother Africa hopeful: don’t fall for this type of douchebag. He is the ultimate cactus, a prick! Avoid him at all costs. He will bring you grief just to get his jollies!

What Is Collo Upto With Prezzo’s Tanzanian Girl?.

Diva Loveness a presenter at Cloud’s F.M and a musician is not a new face in the Kenyan Entertainment scene.

She has had dramatic Twitter showdowns with socialite Huddah and a brief albeit torrid affair with CMB Prezzo. An elated Diva had gushed all over Social Media writing this about El Presidente ,“Nothing Than Happiness… Prez is such a Nice guy. Hata Akiniudhi Sihesabu makosa yake. May you Live Long Pleaseeee…….. Good hearted, My hero, My Mentor…A person I can count to when I need to be happy… No one is perfect yes but I love his flaws and All.. .. Bless you always’. I pray you live Long… I Pray for you Always”

The ‘Ala Za Roho’ presenter excitedly announced that she is doing a song with the King himself Collo.Have a look at a few of her selected tweets:diva.png

Calif Records Former Superstar Accused Of Being A Conman!

They say art imitates reality aye? Then why do real life stories sound so bizarre: almost like they are attempting to mimic fiction?

Si-So was one of the young break out talents touted by Calif Records as the future of Genge music is being accused of petty theft and even conmanship by an erstwhile colleague and friend.

This is how the accusation was laid:

Update On The Dead Body Found Near Rafikiz Pub

On the 29th of July this year, I wrote a story about the discovery of a dead body outside one of the most popular nightspots in the city of Nairobi: Rafikiz. I also promised to keep you posted on any new information coming to light and I have to be honest, it has taken a minute simply because of how efficient our police force is.

But after searching high and low, I finally have some information. The body of the deceased lad is believed to have been dumped there after he was killed at a yet unkown location. Investigations are still ongoing and anyone with any information that would assist the police in finding out what happened is encouraged to share it with them.

All this happened on the 28th of July early in the morning and was discovered by pedestrians who alerted the authorities. It was first suspected that the lad was a victim of a mugging gone south or that he might have been drugged at the popular nightspot.

Whatever the case, keep it Ghafla for more information.

Gidi Gidi of ‘Unbwogable’ Reveals How He Landed His Radio Job

Unless you’re generation ‘xaxa/qwendar/xema you must be aware of the hit song, “Unbwogable”. So popular was the song that the then most popular political party, NARC, adopted it as its main campaign anthem in the run up to the 2002 General Elections. Before fizzling out of the music scene in 2005, the duo had done four albums; ‘Ting Badi Malo’, ‘Ismarwa’, ‘Unbwogable’ & ‘Many Faces’.

While Maji Maji set up a radio station (Ghetto Radio) one half of the rap duo, Gidi Gidi landed a job at Radio Africa Group’s Radio Jambo. While Maji Maji’s journey to stardom has been well documented, Gidi’s has not. The Breakfast Radio Host at Radio Jambo has just revealed how he got to where he is.

Here’s his story;

Four years ago I was a humble Web Developer at UNEP. One day I met Carol Radull at the Stadium, she told me that Radio Africa was starting a Sports Radio Station and convinced me to join the team.

She thought i was very interesting for Radio, we used to argue alot about football. At first i was hesitant, I couldn’t Imagine resigning from a UN Job for Radio.

I gathered some courage, resigned from UNEP and Joined Radio Jambo as a breakfast show presenter. 4 years later Radio Jambo has grown to the TOP 3 most listened Radio Stations Country wide.

One life lesson that i have learnt with this achievement is: If you believe in something go for it. If you believe you can do something do it.

May I take this opportunity to thank all my listeners who have seen me grow at Radio Jambo and who always enjoy my show every morning. I am nothing without you. Thank you so much for listening. Thank you Radull, Pete and Radio Africa for believing in me.

I have been approached to move stations but after some soul searching and talks with management I have decided to renew my contract with Radio Africa tomorrow.

Thank you guys and God Bless.

Now you know.

BBA Update:Meet Beverly’s Mum

Beverly Osu,this controversial young lady has got Africa’s tongues wagging and a few people people have speculated that she could be Africa’s next Kim Kardashian.

After her infamous shenanigans at the BBA house many have wondered if Bev’s mum has been watching the show and how she feels about her daughter’s behavior.

Bev’s friend Charity says this when asked about Beverly’s mum reaction to all the Bangelo drama so far:

”About Bev and Angelo’s relationship/sex: She knows. She has seen everything. There’s the good and bad, of course she’s a mother so she would feel the way mother’s would feel but she’s very proud of her daughter and says she’s a queen. She’s already redecorating her room, so she would welcome her back like any mother would.”

Have a view of this wonderful woman.

BBA Stargame Winner Keagan Gives Saucy Details About His Relationship With Talia After BBA!

Last year’s BBA dubbed StarGame Winner Keagan Petersen took to the Live Show Stage to give us a little information about his life after his big win.

Many were curious about what happened to his torrid love affair with Zambian Housemate Talia after the competition.Did the Kealia duo ride off into the sunset or did they just snap out of it?

It was alleged that Talia after losing the competition ran to the other third of their love triangle Seydou to beg him to take her back.

Keagan had this to say “We were only together for five days really. Once we were out of the House things were different. So we decided to go our separate ways.

Keagan won the Stargame show with 7 votes to beat his closest contender our very own Prezzo.Angola, Botswana, Ghana, Liberia, Nigeria, South Africa and the Rest of Africa help-ed him secure the big win.His win was a true reflection that we often root for the underdogs as he was competing with celebrities such as Lady May,Barbz and The Late Goldie to win the coveted number one spot.;

Ghafla Poll Result: It’s Time To Settle This! Who Is The Funnier Comedian? Churchill Or Jalang’o?

Yesterday I sought to find out what type of comedy appeals to Kenyans: tribal buffoonery or sarcasm and satire and I chose to use the two main protagonists of both; Jalang’o and Churchill respectively.

And boy did readers respond! We got 450 or so people to vote and let us know their preference. I for one abstained from voting because I had already given my opinions very clearly. I find that tribal humour simply insults my intelligence. Gone are the days when being told that Luhya’s dress funny, lack ambition and eat alot is funny.

Good riddance to the days when being told Kikuyus are thieves was considered funny. I find such jokes crass -and as my mother so aptly put it, if even I find something crass, then there is something terribly wrong with it!

And Kenyans seem to agree with me. They overwhelmingly voted to imply that crass tribal humour is being forced down our throats. Kenyans prefer jokes that aren’t worn out where the person playing a villager comes complete with some ridiculous outfit! A harlequin -look it up nibling!

Statistics:

Churchill
Votes: 324

71.4%

Jalang’o
Votes: 130

28.6%

Number of Voters 454
Start Voting 2013-08-12 09:02:23
End Voting 2013-08-13 09:02:23

The thing about tribal humour is that it not only assumes you want to be force fed tired stereotypes, but it isn’t scalable. Churchill can be called to perform at Big Brother Africa, a continental platform but I would love to see Jalang’o perform the same routine of Luo jokes on a platform where people will undoubtedly be unable to relate.

BBA8.png

And Kenyans agree that the stereotype jokes are tired. They’re played out! And with that ladies and gentlemen, your winner, the funnier comedian is:

Churchill Show Tonight is Free For All Twins!

Why Kenya is Rapidly Becoming the Dancehall Capital of Africa

Dancehall heads will concur that over the last few years the people of Kenya has been steadily embracing dancehall music and culture. The sound from Jamaica is being promoted in Kenya at such a rapid rate that the country is now being called the Dancehall capital of Africa.

This title and the ever swelling number of faithful Dancehall fans in country has seen an influx of key dancehall icons jetting into the country for concerts. The growth of Dancehall in Kenya can be attributed to the numerous skilled Kenyan disc jocks that seem to all have a great respect for Jamaica’s music, its people and overall practices.

Additionally, Kenya has one of the longest running Reggae/Dancehall music video shows called Stepping Razor which was started by international Kenyan promoter, Kenya Don. Also, the country has one of the liveliest commercial radio stations (Homeboyz Radio on 103.5 FM) that centers a lot of its programming on Jamaican music.

Some of the deejays preaching the dancehall gospel include G-Money, Kriss Darlin, Juan, Izrael, Simple Simon, Heno, Selekta Otivo, DJ Partoh, DJ Prefixx among others. However, there’s a new crop of budding deejays who are pushing ‘the gospel’ in their own way. One of those is DJ Mura (a member of the Top Klass crew).

He has just released a hot mix that features all the biggest dancehall jams in Kenya. HERE it is.

Open Letter To Nonini Asking Him To Get Saved

In the last couple of years we witnessed secular music heavyweights like Princess Faridah, Lady Bee and Size 8 cross over to Gospel Ministry with the latest ‘convertee’ being renowned “people connector”, events’ organizer, Buddha Blaze.

And now, ‘Genge Godfather’ Nonini has been urged to get saved by an upcoming Gospel artiste, Mteule Cantonato, he greatly inspires.

Though not in Gospel Ministry, Nonini has played a pivotal role in great initiatives including Pamoja Conje (a program to assist boxer Conjestina Achieng back to her feet) and also Colour Kwa Face (an campaign against discrimination of people living with albinism).

Here’s the letter;

I have been thinking of Something for sooo Long, Infact, Since I started singing Gospel Music.

And today I just thought to air my thoughts about some Secular Musicians whom I seriously admired their style when I was in high school.

When I was in form 2 in a school in Transnzoia District, Genge Music was My favorite Style. I would spend the Whole afternoon listening to Nation FM, Now Easy Fm’s Chart and Vote for songs like Mtu Saba by Nonini, Jua Kali and Mahatma. Infact, I could flow it line by Line. I liked Noninis flow then, juacali was a little bit hardcore Genge.

This Music Influenced me to begin composing Lyrics in genge style and in time I was Good in rapping. At Games time we could meet somewhere in the field and start Rapping with my classmate Kamlesh, -Who does some Julianish like Hiphop-and we entertained our Students Fans.

After a while Genge Got in my Blood Vains and I started composing songs on Aids for school events.
My commitment to church Got me to the Pulpit and I started doing Gospel Music.

The reason I write this is not to pass a BIOGRAPHY or such. I
But, I have had a deep desire to see the people who made me sing and Rap gennge Get Saved and Do Gospel Music. Somebody May Call this “Wishful thinking’ But In my Heart am really Praying. Seriously.

I hereby wish to call for Nonini to accept my Humble request to crossover to Gospel Music.

People saw Nonini as a darty Guy especially after realising , Leo Niko kwa Keja, Keroro and So. Nobody new that he would once be an ambasador for albinos with His Famous Color kwa face campaign. And I can see salvation coming His way and maybe soon, Who Knows, Together we may start ‘Yesu Kwa Mtaa’ Movement.

The Grace of God is Sufficient, I respect the Godfather of Genge. And I would like Him to Connect with God the Father and this will be a huge Celebration Man.

Juliani’s Utawala Song Used In ‘Akorino Worship Service’.

Juliani, this guy has the ‘Midas Touch’ when it comes to music. He has managed to produce hit after hit of timeless music a fete that very few artistes have managed to accomplish.

Thirty years down the line am sure our Kids and Grand kids will be listening to this socially conscious musician.

His fellow artistes agree with this sentiment with veteran singer/songwriter describing him as :
‘Possessing an unmatched socio-political nous, beautifully tempered in spirituality, Juliani comes correct with an infectious message of religious, social and political emancipation, fresh and relevant in today’s society. His sleek and unique lyrical flow, passionate delivery and electrifying performance have collectively and officially hailed him as “an important voice for our time”

Here is a video of The Heartstrings play Kenyan Pigs,Cats and Dogs where the ‘mukorinos’ use Juliani’s Utawala song for a ‘worship’ scene.

Mbusii’s Take On How To Treat Women.

Mbusii is not only a radio presenter at Radio Jambo but he is also a columnist in The Nairobian. His column is called “Story Za Mtaa” .The renowned presenter gives men advise on how to treat your ‘totoise’ like a queen.

Here are a few excerpts from his column:

mbusii_2.jpg
Treat your woman nicely, with passion and love, give her anything it takes to make her feel like a queen.Act like a gentlemen learn her individual likes and dislikes. For example not all women like roses,so if you like buying flowers, find out her favorite flower. The same approach can be applied to almost every situation.Make her feel safe always. This means that you should never hurt her.

Mbusii goes further to say that you should never let your woman look ratchet, make sure she always looks her best paying her salon bill ,this will enable her to walk around with her head held high.

Be sure to read more of his advice in this weeks issue of the Nairobian.

Rabbit Tops List of Overall Trending Searches in Kenya: Google

Google Kenya has announced its top searches for July, giving an insight into the trending topics, politicians, websites and personalities. Top on the list was local musician Rabbit’s hit song Ligi Soo remix.

The three-week-old 10 minute track which was recently remixed with more than seven artists has already surpassed the 100,000 views on YouTube – an all time high for a song in Kenya. Polyandry came second in what has come as a surprise to many Kenyans on social media. Polyandry is a form of polygamy whereby a woman takes two or more husbands at the same time.

This is mainly a result of the infamous Marriage Bill, which among other things proposes arrest and possible prosecution when a man does not go through with his marriage proposal to his girlfriend or fiancée.

Somali news website shabelle.net, a major source of news on the Somali civil war and developments in its capital Mogadishu was the top visited website.

Google Maps, OLX, Kasneb, which just released the May/June examination results, and the Joint Admissions Board joined the news website as some of the most visited online

The top searches with a political link were Kethi’s case, Mutula Jr, Agnes Ndetei and Raila in Kisii characterised by the Makueni by-elections and the former prime minister’s visit to Nyanza after the death of school children in a bus accident.

Sports also came high in the search list with Masaku Sevens, Lewis Hamilton and Kenya versus Botswana among the leading searches in July.

Kenyans also sought information regarding TV news personalities. NTV news senior reporter Brenda Wanga, who is married to Kenya national football team striker Allan Wanga, was the most searched.

Other journalist and TV personalities were David Makali who was involved in a tragic accident, the late Tony Ogunda , Eliud Owalo, the late Chelagat Mutai, former Chakacha singer who got saved, Princess Farida, former KTN news anchor Eric Njoka, who was allegedly fired for laughing at a woman on live TV, and Lupita Nyong’o, who made her Hollywood debut in a movie titled “12 years a slave” starring Brad Pitt.

Just How Is Thee Mc Africa (Formerly Taio Tripper) Faring After Camp Mulla? Find Out From This Song He Features In!

I came across this new music track entitled “P3” that is produced by a 19 year old prodigy named Alex Kioko and features Thee MC Africa. This is one of the tracks he has featured in after Camp Mulla parted ways.

The instrumentals to the track are rather excellent if I do say so and I am surprised that the lad who is only 19 years old could work out something this good! Thee MC Africa starts the track off with his rhymes before Alex Red spits.

The young rapper, producer, video director & songwriter was born and raised and is still currently based in Nairobi, Kenya. And according to the youngin, Hip Hop has been his life since he was 8, though admittedly, he only started rapping at 14 and producing at 16. And youngin says his influence is drawn from acts such as Dr.Dre, Eminem & 50 Cent and the whole G-Unit Shady Aftermath movement.

Check out the track below:

Liz Njagah To Star In A New African Reality Show!

Kenyan actress Lizz Njagah recently did a quick trip to Accra in Ghana, together with her hubby and Historia Films director Alex Konstantaras, for the launch of MNET’s new talk show “At Home with Joselyn Dumas”.

We can now confirm that Joselyn and Lizz are also working on a new reality TV series called ‘First Ladies’. The show will be giving viewers an inside peek into the lives of three African actresses in one show. So far, Joselyn Dumas from Ghana and Lizz Njagah from Kenya have been confirmed but sources have hinted that the line-up would include also a Nigeria actress that will surely have Africa talking!

The Konstantaras

While in Ghana, a few scenes for the upcoming series were filmed, with Joselyn hosting Lizz, showing her around town and sharing bits of her life with Lizz and viewers. Together with Lizz’s husband, Alex who tried some local dishes, Joselyn gave the Kenyan diva a fun experience including attending the launch of At Home with Joselyn Dumas, a trip to exotic beach resorts and pampering at the spa.

“First Ladies” is a product from the IfactoryLive stable following the success of hit reality formats such as “Omotola-The Real Me” and “Jim Iyke Unscripted”.

The first Kenyan reality “Meet the Konstantaras” has been put on hold. To enable Lizz to completely focus on ‘First Ladies’ but in the future, who knows?

How The Biggest Event in Kenya Went Down

Thousands of children accompanied by their parents attended the 10th edition of the MILO Kid’s Festival held at the Nyayo National Stadium on Saturday, August 10th, 2013.

Comedian and founder of the Laugh Industry Daniel “Churchill” Ndambuki highlighted how the Kids Festival has grown in leaps and bound to become one of the biggest Kids’ event not only in Kenya but also in Africa over the years.

The event was organised by Nestlé Kenya, through its MILO brand, and the Laugh Industry, founded by Daniel “Churchill” Ndambuki to host this year’s 10th edition of the MILO Kids Festival in line with the brand’s commitment to promote healthy lifestyle through the use of sports and other outdoor activities.

The highlight of the Milo Kids Festival featured a huge concert where kid’s had an opportunity to interact with their favourite celebrities, artiste and musician who motivated them to realise their full potential in life.

The event was graced by top-notch live performances by various artistes such as Wyre, Nameless, Emmy Kosgei & Nikita, Solomon Mukubwa and comedians Eric Omondi, MC Jessie, Vinnie Chipukeezy, Wanjiku “The Teacher” amongst others.

The Nairobi senator, Mike Mbuvi “Sonko” surprised the crowd with a grand entrance full of pomp and colour and later on together with Churchill and Eric Omondi joined Nameless on stage in a cake cutting ceremony, who coincidentally was also celebrating his birthday.

Here’s are some photos from that;

This Is The Must See Movie coming Out! And You Can Catch It At Starflix!

Are you a manly man? Did you enjoy the Denzel Washington classic: Training Day? Do you like gritty movies? Well, then this is the movie for you! If you enjoy sensible action flicks and movies that aren’t all “la ti da” about the violence, this movie I am about to introduce is one you do not one to miss.

And the movie I am talking about is none other than:

And that is ever since I saw the trailer which I will share with you below:

{youtube}vdv6LqNosp4{/youtube}

Two cops, one a DEA and the other Special Ops set each other up in a robbery then have to work together to keep safe from drug dealers -turns out the money they stole belonged to a drug dealer. You need to watch this movie! And Starflix is where it will premiere!

The Drama That Led To Diamond’s Fans Throwing Bottles On Stage.

If you were at Diamond’s Mombasa concert you probably saw the drama that ensued after Diamond delayed his performance.Bottles were flung, opening acts were booed and bouncers and fans shoved. It was a pandemonium!

So you wonder what led to Diamond being delayed?Apparently the concert was delayed because the ‘Nataka Kulewa’ singer was being a total diva.It is said that Diamond deliberately stalled in Tanzania therefore missing his plane to Kenya, he then demanded a private jet from the Nation Media Group. NMG had to bend over backwards and charter a private jet for the Tanzanian Superstar.

Diamond soon landed in Mombasa and refused to check in into the Mombasa Beach Hotel where a room had been booked for him. The hotel was also the venue for his concert. In true prima donna fashion Diamond insisted that he had to be booked into a presidential suite in the breath-taking White Sands Hotel which cost NMG an arm and a leg.

After his demands were met ,Diamond finally took to the stage and it was worth all the trouble because like a true diva he gave a performance that can only be described as legendary. The rogue crowd calmed down and was soon singing alongside to his songs word- by -word

Finally! Kenyans Come Out To Defend Emmy Kosgei For Her Impending Marriage To Tycoon Apostle Anselm Madubuko And Savagely Attack Nigerians!

Last week, Nigerians attacked Emmy Kosgei so badly, with names like ugly and refugee. And all this is simply because she is a Kenyan about to marry a wealthy Nigerian pastor?

Well, Kenyans aren’t taking any of this lying and they have come out spitting fire at Nigerians for disrespecting one of their own and boy have they come out spitting venom! This is how Ghafla readers have responded to the Linda Ikeji readers:

Jojo Njoroge · Top Commenter · Limuru Girls School (Chox)

This is my take on this, if someone has something mean to say about you, high chances are because you have something they don’t and they envy you. Emmy Kosgei is in fact a very beautiful woman, FACT! Ati she is Wande-coal complexion? That is because she is her beautiful natural complexion unaffected by the bleaches and all manner of skin colour altering bullshit that leaves Nigerian women looking like some fruit that was boiled before it was peeled. Monkey they called her? case of the pot calling the kettle black? And if yáll are so pretty and have it all, why was it so hard for one of you to get that Pastor to put a ring on it? I mean, he is no spring chicken and has lived in your midst all this time? There is nothing particularly special about your men except over dramatic chivalry (that is not a complaint by the way, keep at it lol!!) and if Kenyan women want them, best believe, we can empty your country of men in no time flat. Sour grapes Nigerians….sour grapes.

Recent tweefs from Nigeria(ns) have revealed something interesting that students of Psychology and anthropology should look into. Why are they obsessed about color and “beauty”? The average Nigerian is dark (black/negroid) but somewhere in their psyche they believe that they are not black and that they are the most beautiful creatures to walk on the planet. Are they Caucasian? Here is a tragic testament of twisted pride. I would like to understand the mind of a Nigerian, a mind that sees beauty in bleached skins, fake hair weaves and has a little knowledge and information about anything else outside of their borders. I go wonder now, I go wait for our brodas to acquire higher vision now.

In stead of all this crap, Nigerians should sit back and ask themselves, why did their man cross all those boarders and settle for a Kenyan? What is it they lack that he found in Emmy? Only after answering these questions will they be permitted to insult with such venom.

Catch Any Of These Hot Movies At Starflix!

Starflix is Uncle Chim Tuna’s choice whenever he’s going on a date. Why? Well, I love the way they treat me which to be honest rubs off on my date. They are respectful, always have a smile for me and they make me seem like what Chege Miati calls a “member”.

And trust me when I say that earns me alot of points with my date. But this isn’t about Uncle Chim Tuna’s rather active date life. It’s about the hot movies you can catch at Starflix. And the movies are:

BBA Update: Tanzania & East Africa Officially Out of The Chase

After a remarkable 77-day stay in the house, Tanzania’s only surviving Big Brother Africa representative Feza has been evicted from the stargame.

Feza follows her man Oneal who was booted out of the show last week. Her Eviction comes after being up three times and she has only managed to get away with it twice, thanks to Africa.

After host IK announced that she was the unlucky one today, she handled the moment quite well and bade farewell to all the Rubies without holding anything back. As a ‘norm’ she was sent off with the Ruby theme song.

Feza’s Eviction brings an end to Tanzania’s (and East Africa’s by and large) presence in the Big Brother house this season after the other contestant Nando was disqualified about a fortnight ago due to bad behaviour and threatening Elikem’s life.

She was up against Namibia’s Dilish and Zambia’s Cleo and surely it must have been a very tight contest between the three beautiful Chasemates. Only one sees the boot today.

If You Thought Mr. Nice Is Washed Out, Check Out His Sold Out Concert!

I have heard alot of people describe Mr. Nice as washed out and I have always said that he is far from washed out. he is still a force to reckon with. And the fact that he chose Kenya; East Africa’s hardest market for a come back should tell you alot!

It should tell you that he isn’t interested in an easy comeback. He wants to work for his! And you can check out just how hard he is working to get back his shine in the pictures below:

Ayeiyaaa Poa Poa Now A Dad!

You know him as the guy who uses the “Mission Impossible” theme song for his grand entrances at the Churchill show. His witty jokes and his catch phrase “Ayeiya. Poa Poa”has put him on a pedestal among Kenyans.

Born on March 25 1986 Emmanuel Makori Nyambane is not only a top comic but also a hotel owner, bank salesman and the CEO of Kakada advertising. The jack of all trades confesses that he is a little shy off stage. This comes as a shock as the room literally comes alive when he confidently steps onto the stage.

Here is a photo of the comedian with his adorable newborn!

Ghafla Poll: It’s Time To Settle This! Who Is The Funnier Comedian? Churchill Or Jalang’o?

Just who is the funnier comedian? Humour is different to everyone. For instance, I like wit and sarcasm. Most Kenyans like buffoonery and tribal jokes. I will not say which is more superior to the other but I have never honestly subscribed to tribal humour.

Jokes about Luhya’s eating alot and lacking ambition, jokes about Luos having a range that they park outside a hut, or how Kambas cannot dress or how Kikuyus are money hungry offend my sensibilities.
I do not like them. But I know what works for me and what doesn’t.

Photo of the Day: Jalang’o Shows Us Some Flesh!

And this is about you the reader. What type of humour appeals to you? and with that, I have the protagonists of both kinds. there is Churchill who has modeled his career around wit and satire and even dresses the part ergo is a darling at corporate events and their is Jalang’o, the protagonist of tribal humour who even dresses the part.

Churchill Show Tonight is Free For All Twins!

Who do you the reader consider funny? And please, don’t forget to leave a colourful comment below in the comment section!

BBA Update:Feza’s Hollywood Look Alike.

Tanzania’s Feza the latest evictee from the biggie’s house has a Hollywood look-alike,Taraji P. Henson.

You know Taraji from Jamie Foxx’s video just like me where they engage in a series of “anything you can do, I can do better” type of contests with Taraji outshining Foxx in a lot of them. The stunning woman also plays the eccentric Yvette in Baby Boy where she co- stars Tyrese Gibson and Snoop Dogg.

Take a look at Feza’s sister from another mother.

Kunguru Gets Jacked After Announcing He Drives Around With A Million Shillings In His Boot!

In true Kenyan fashion once you announce that you drive around with a Million Bob in your boot you are bound to get robbed.

Kunguru got a nasty wake -up call after he got robbed along the Nyayo Stadium round about. This was after his phone got jacked probably by a bouncer at K.I.C.C before he hit the stage .It was a rough night for the young lad as as he was driving home a speeding car in the wrong lane rammed into his car.The white Toyota Premio hit his BMW 318i on the front left side sending his car spinning before coming to a halt at the curb.

It seemed like a normal accident until the robbers rushed to his boot and harvested everything in it,including his expensive golf clubs and car woofer.Luckily, the German machine helped him survive the impact but not his precious items in his boot. The ‘Superstar’ singer was left in his wrecked car shaken and paranoid waiting for a tow-truck as all this seemed so surreal.

It seems that the thieving bastards had read our Ghafla article about him rolling with a Million Shillings in his car boot and targeted the veteran singer because all his other expensive possessions inside the car were intact.

Video: Irate Fans Toss Empty Beer Bottles during Diamond’s Concert

People from the Coast are always assumed to be patient, but following last weekend’s events, this brain wave is terribly scattered. It all started at the Diamond Platnumz’s concert in the Coastal city of Mombasa.

After an exhilarating show at Nairobi’s KICC grounds on Friday, Tanzanian Bongo heartthrob jetted down to the Coast for one more show in his Kenyan tour. The stage was set and it was all systems go but no, the crowd’s favourite and most anticipated artiste was nowhere to be seen hours past his scheduled time.

Getting impatient, the fans became infuriated and that’s when hell broke loose. They started pelting empty beer and soda bottles at event organizers and any other opening act who dared to take the stage, suspecting that they might have been duped and Diamond ouldn’t show up.

At this point, the organizers were forced to hurriedly rush the Tanzanian singer to the stage. Once he took the stage calm was restored and the show went on unperturbed. Despite the glitch, Diamond gave his fans a tantalizing show and one they will not forget anytime soon.
