I don’t know how in the world this escaped my attention but now that it has come to me, thanks to one @carolinespencer, am following it up. So, a section of Kenyans on Twitter decided to do something constructive for once.

On the38th birthday of Jamaican dancehall heartthrob Cecile (born Cecile Charlton), KOT joined the rest of her fans from around the world in wishing the hit maker an awesome birthday. In the 5-minute clip, Kenyan ‘tweeps’ were allotted the first 2 minutes to pass their goodwill messages.

Among those appeared in the clip include; @Mike4rmRuai, @LuluSongz, @pakashu, @TheWacera and @billybicks.

Esther Wahome of the famous ‘Kuna Dawa’ song is today jetting off to South America for the Mrs Universe beauty pageant which will be held in Aruba.

The singer was the reigning Mrs Universe Kenya in the year 2012.Catherine Kimani the newly crowned Mrs Universe will be accompanied by the singer to the event.Catherine is a professional model who is currently featured in the Safaricom Bonga points advert.

Mrs universe is a beauty peagent for married women that focuses mostly on character and honour  rather than beauty .The peagant was established in 2007 and the headquarters are at Sofia in Bulgaria.Eleonora Mancheva the first winner of the peagant was from  Bulgaria.Last year’s winner  whose name is quite a mouthful …Layla Martínez Rostov-on-Don is Russian.

While other artists derive joy from drowning in booze and other ratchet activities in the name of merry-making, legendary musician and songwriter Kunguru does something totally different.

Recently while I was just minding my own business I bumped into the ‘Superstar’ hit-maker playing the gentleman’s game (golf) at a leading golf course in Nairobi. So I approached him when he was on recess and sort to find out why golf since it’s considered a game for the rich.

A quick spot-check at a sports section of a department store reveals that a box of golf balls (12) of any kind is more expensive than a soccer ball. In golf, you can lose a box in a round of golf (i.e. hitting into the waters, jungles, off the mountains and all sorts of hazards); and that is only for one player. Think about it, a soccer ball is played again and again by two teams of a total of 22 players.

What I didn’t know is that Kunguru has amassed a great amount of treasure over the years that he has been out of the limelight, but is quick to point out that he doesn’t like pretentiousness. And that’s why he can afford to play golf!

And just so you know, his golf clubs are always in his car boot, just in case, he wants to stop for a “tee-shot”.

t Last year, we did an article about CLD marrying a granny and it went viral. We then did a follow up piece about him defending his decision to marry the grandmother terming their relationship a loving one.

And who are we to say otherwise really? Well, while checking up on the Ghafla!Kenya Youtube channel, I came across this gem: CLD’s granny-wife attacked the Ghafla team and everyone at the office was tickled. i could go into bursting age-jokes but let’s be honest, they’re all so very old!

Anyway, here’s her response:

“what the f*ck youre guys are talking about???? ME , am NOT a Granny so get ashamed about yourself coz your guys can just dream to hv a woman like ME!!!!!!“

To which I respond, it’s true actually, I don’t dream all that often and when I do, I don’t have nightmares!

And… Her youtube name is Mrs. Skunky?!

Pendo,Pendo,Pendo *sigh*.This name has been in the mouths of a large number of Kenyans for a while.Her reception in our country is far from  promising but the girl is not getting her down

Since she had a romp with Nigeria’s bad boy Davido,Pendo is now become a headliner in Nigeria.After we published that article about her and Davido’s sexcapade  several Nigerian blogs and entertainment websites have her on their radar.

This is probably because stories about Davido  a.k.a King of Scandals are sellers and a scandal involving him and a controversial Kenyan Socialite is the freaking jackpot!Davido however denies getting involved with the girl adding an interesting twist to this soap opera!Lets admit we all love a good scandal.

 The country responsible for most of our TV programs Nigeria, has really taken notice of the petite lady with her twitter followers inflating at a fast rate.If you check her twitter page a large number of her new followers are Nigerians .Pendo is really big in Nigeria!Maybe this is her window of opportunity,the window may not be perfect but one has got to strike the iron while its hot!

With a view of putting this matter to final rest, Ghafla! sort to find out the truth from the horse’s mouth after months of trying to squeeze information from her to no avail. But finally we lay the bait and were successful this time round.

In a recorded telephone conversation with our main man, Baba Ghafla, Pendo admitted that she indeed had sex with Gospel artiste Willy Paul. Here’s how the conversation went;

Baba Ghafla: Kuna hii story ya Willy Paul imelipuka na vile wewe na Willy Paul are best friends.

Pendo: uh huh

Baba Ghafla: Sasa kuna ile time kwa Facebook yako uliadmit ati you and Willy Paul did it but si venye gazeti ilisema.

Pendo: Are you sure mimi niliandika kwa Facebook yangu ati mimi nilif*ckiana na Willy Paul?

Baba Ghafla: Eeeeeeh! Si… niliona!

Pendo: Uko nayo?

Baba Ghafla: Sina hapa but niliona but nikaulidelete.

Pendo: I didn’t write anything like!

Baba Ghafla: Ahhhhhh!

Pendo: Seriously by the way my man, I didn’t write anything like that. Me and Willy Paul… (sighs) how do I put it? Why are you taking me back to Willy Paul?

Baba Ghafla: Si ju ii story yake imelipuka bana! Nataka comments ka za kila mtu.

Pendo: Am trying to move on to Nigeria (in reference to Davido)! Why are you taking me back to Willy Paul?

The duo Crazy bone cousins popularly dubbed ‘Bootylicious Tujuane Chics’ or ‘Tujuane Band’ are now in their second music video.That is two videos in a row within the period of a fortnight!This young ladies could just be the fastest selling commodity in town.

The young ladies  burst into the limelight  thanks to one of them being featured in the list of the top four infamous Tujuane episodes.The episode was nick-named“Maggy Blushings” and from there the red carpet of success was rolled out for them.

The music  industry is definitely  taking this young women seriously with the girls getting paid  a whooping 150,000 for them to shake their money makers  and that was just their first video!

An IRATE Abbas called the one and only Ghafla female writer,yours truly making threats and throwing tantrums over the article we wrote about him popping the question to a certain young lass.

His anger knew no bounds,he ordered us to bring down the article and offer a PUBLIC apology for tainting his name.

Breathing fire and brimstone he threatened to call MCSK (Music Copyright Society Of Kenya) lawyers if we did not comply.

Cupid seems to have struck again!This time Abbas is the target.It is alleged that Abbas is about to get married again!

Our Source Stacy @StacyExposer revealed that Abbas, former husband to Baby Gee has proposed to someone else.Abbas had the most short lived celebrity marriage in kenya but that has not stopped him from proposing to a girl called Alice Njoroge.

The girl in question was on the cover of pulse magazine sometime back and works at the prestigious Sankara hotel in Westlands.It is said that the girl was left with the ring to enable her to think over the proposal.

We called up Abbas to get his response to the allegation but he declined to respond.If this allegations are true then we could be seeing another Mrs Abbas!

As if being bashed online and being branded all sorts of not-so-cool-names, conflict-ridden socialite Staciey Pendo’s woes have just dipped. Last evening, Chim did an open post where he urged Pendo’s producer, Kevin Pro-voke to release her recorded tracks.

However, that seemed to have provoked Pro-voke as things have now taken a totally different turn. This morning, the talented producer has revealed that he’s not working with Pendo anymore. Pro-voke admits that he had started a project with Pendo sometime back which wasn’t completed and doubts if it will ever be.

“I am a person of high morals and barely a week ago I had a talk with her about the scandals and told her I can’t put out music with a lot going on,” asserted Pro-voke adding, “I need her to lay off all that and wait to release a track without any negative vibe going on.

He adjoins that he wanted to bring out her talent as a musician in a clean way.

About the unreleased track, Pro-voke stands his ground that he will not release it but instead concentrate on serious artists.

“So, about the track I think I will just pass and concentrate on artists who take their art sessions seriously and respect it.”

Pro-voke also disclosed that he’s currently on Wangeshi’s and Rabbit’s albums. He’s also working with Sub-Sahara and Taurus Muzik label records with their artists.

“I really don’t see myself surrounded by negativity”, points out Pro-voke.

He however admits that Pendo has a talent in singing but unless she tows the line all will not be well.

“I wish her good luck in her work and life”, concludes Pro-voke.

Over the weekend controversial socialite Pendo Staicey somehow hustled her way into Davido’s hotel room, something that she proudly asserted when SDE published a story alleging that “Omo Baba Olowo” doesn’t even know her. Despite her confession, there were still some doubting Thomases and that’s why Baba Ghafla recounted the events of last weekend chronologically till the point when Pendo and Davido purportedly hit it off.

Up until this morning, there are still guys who still have a shadow of doubt of the two’s encounter. So, “in the spirit” of saving the best for the last, Pendo was smart enough to ensure the paparazzi was there when she was closest to Davido. As such, she has just unleashed a photo of herself hanging out with Davido to silence her critics and captioned, “sina time ya ku argue na vicheche“. Take a look;

However, there were guys who still didn’t believe and alleged that the photo has been ‘photoshopped’. Her response?

“ask the person who tuk [sic] it f [sic] he dd oh not..courtesy of eyecon photography if u can read!!“
