A few days ago, it was revealed that our President might just skip the trial against him by the International Criminal Court at the Hague. This was after an AU resolution communicated by AU’s Chair, Ethiopia’s Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn who said that  that no sitting African leader should be tried at any international court including ICC.

These sentiments were echoed by Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohamed and ‘government blogger “Dennis Itumbi.
However, a large number of Kenyans are not pleased with this decision and that includes Robert Alai and Rabble-Rouser Cabu Gah

But none of that justifies your avoidance of the ICC court. even if you are innocent, just go attend, anyway. what better joy is there than to attend the court, clear your beautiful name and come home triumphantly to the warm hands of your beloved?

Yes, they may be liars. They may be coaching witnesses. They may be evil-schemers. Or agents of Satan.Fine. but you need not avoid them. You need to confront them.

Right at their door-step. Right in their land. evading the court will only provide them with more arsenal to launch against you. Evading the court will downgrade Kenya into a pariah state. A state led by a court-evading president. evading the court will make them brand you a fugitive president.

So apparently we do not have any real socialites in Kenya. This is a sentiment echoed by Mudigi Savara of Sauti Sol who says “In Kenya, we don’t have socialites. Socialites are not poor. Let me call them social human beings but definitely not socialites.”

Every man wants to have a body that’s lean, ripped and muscular because women are instinctively drawn towards a man brimming with health and fitness. Unfortunately, most of us end up with a ‘one cube’.

I first came across the group which I speak of at the Mwafaka Awards a couple of months ago. They performed and inspite of being relatively unknown, they connected with the crowd and went as far as rocking it. they were the first performers of the afternoon to receive a standing ovation.

And I knew I had to track them down and write about them. And so I begun to dig for anything I could find. And I have the pleasure of introducing to you Nicholas Harmonies:

they are a Gospel Acapella Musical Troupe comprising of five talented music lovers: Bunny, Biko, Jason, Simali and Wanjo. What is really intriguing about this group is the fact that they were classmate at St. Nicholas Anglican Secondary School-Nakuru and St. Nicholas Childrens’ Home-Nakuru.

The group was first conceptualized when they were young, having participated in the Annual schools Music Festivals. When they finally fine tuned the idea, they decided on the name in honour of the school they had attended.

 

The acapella group has had the privileges of performing severally in State House Nairobi and Nakuru during several state events and at social gatherings such as weddings, churches, at learning institutions and corporate events across the country. 

The group’s unique sound has opened doors for them and has seen them getv called in for interviews at BBC Radio, NTV’s Crossover and AM Live, KTN’s and Tukuza Show Sunrise Live and Citizen’s Rauka.

Recently, Kenya’s Ghipuka rapper known for his hard-hitting tracks, Kenrazy, went all bend over on a fan. He was performing at his event when a female fan/ dancer joined him on stage and Razy (as he’s popularly known) did not hesitate to grind on her.

The ‘Vitambi’ hit maker who seemed oblivious of the paparazzi pulled a“Demarco” on the lady as the music blared on. Take a look;

Last Friday the curtains were raised on Kenya’s first ever teen Gospel awards at the CRC Parklands. The awards aim at recognizing, nurturing and awarding fresh talent in comedy, acts, music, dance and innovation in Gospel Ministry.

Last Friday it finally emerged that award-winning Gospel deejay, DJ Mo and singer Size 8 got married last month without the media detecting. And now another leading Gospel DJ is set to follow the footsteps of his colleague on Crossover Chart.

Allan Thuo better known as Allan T of SPAT has announced that he will soon say bye to the Bachelors’ Club. Uliza Links reports that Allan T proposed to his loving girlfriend, M’ylnn Nicole, who they have been dating for some time now in July.

Unlike DJ Mo and Size 8, Allan T and his fiancée have made known their weeding plan and now they have set a date too.

In attendance was French footballer who plays for Arsenal and the France national football team, Bacary Sagna popularly known as Bac by the majority of his teammates. 

Each week, from the UK the show hosts a live studio show with Premier League players, celebrity football fans, thrilling challenges and great music acts to set the party mood. Maina and King’ang’i this morning has been all about a storm and I have been enjoying the conversation they have been having that  I feel basically boils down to sexual liberation for women.

The conversation picked up from where it left off yesterday with men and women calling to give their opinions on whether or not it is wrong for women to enjoy a stag night on the eve or anytime before they get married.

A male stripper called in to say that he has been doing it for quite a while and it pays handsomely. He went on to tell us the listeners that he gets touched anywhere and everywhere and even he gets to touch the women anywhere he pleases.

And there was the usual furore about whether or not it is right with all the men calling to condemn women for partaking of such a guilty and forbidden pleasure. Women were divided: some are against the idea claiming that we are polluting our heritage and culture.
The others wanted to encourage men to partake of that and more because this is the last time they are going to have this type of fun.

Then a caller called in to tell Kenya that he married a twilight girl. A harlot. A prostitute. And he has no regrets. Thing is at this point, I expected him to go on some mindless rant about utter nonsense but he was very rational. I found myself agreeing with him. This was his logic:

“When you happen to marry a woman who has done it all and seen it all, she will appreciate the stability you bring. While a woman who doesn’t have the worldly experience will get bored very fast.”

Rachel Shebesh just can’t seem to catch a break! Right after being slapped by Evans Kidero, Nairobi’s governor, she was allegedly beaten up by Sonko, Nairobi’s senator. then immediately after that, images leaked onto the internet that allegedly depicted her having sex with Sonko.

And now Kartel Katenga has slapped her with a song about her. or rather, a song mocking her. Remember how during the elections she campaigned under the banner “Manzi wa Nai”? Well, that gimmick is being used to mock her now after she rode it to electoral victory.

Kartel katenga is a man re-known for his hilarious song content and this time it’s no different. She is being mocked as the song is titled “Kairetu wa Nairofi” and it is even sung in Kikuyu!
Talk about versatility.
