It is not a strange dream though the funny thing is that kids at that age bracket usually have big dreams like being pilots, surgeons, engineers etc but this kid just opted to be a bus driver instead. A man with more money is generally appealing to most women, but not to Sarika Patel of the ‘My Bukusu Darling fame’.

KTN gave as an incredibly remarkable story of a cultured bright woman from a well-heeled family falling in love with a pauper. Sarika was willing to give up her life of affluence to leave in a dowdy house in Webuye Western Kenya.

Being in the ICU can be a very harrowing experience and I wouldn’t even wish it upon my worst enemies.

Last week, one of Daily Nation’s brilliant writers was rushed to hospital in a critical condition after passing out twice in his house. He recently spoke of his distressing experience and this is what he had to say

This morning I want to thank God for my life. Last Monday around this time, I passed out twice in my house. When I finally got to Mp Shah Hospital, I was admitted straight to ICU in a critical condition, where I spent four harsh days. I shall explain later the harshness. Today am seated in the same house where I passed out, feeling full of life. I want to thank YOU for your prayers, and GOD for answering them. I got discharged on Saturday evening, Not fully recovered, but I will soldier on…

Oh this girl has decided to completely transform her skin; maybe she is envying the looks of white people and yearns to have the same as well. She is just following on the footsteps the late King of pop once did only that she does not realize that that path is very hazardous to her health. Michael Jackson did plastic surgery to transform his skin, nose and hair; our Vera did one to alter her skin and breasts. The one thing Vera is oblivious of is the climate; she is so naive to realize that Kenya lies along the equator and that the temperate climate here may just pose a threat to her dwindling melanin; she is not well protect against the sun’s ultra violet rays, she stands a high risk of getting skin cancer.

It is only a matter of time before we all start seeing Vera walking round with an umbrella everywhere she goes even when the sun’s rays are not that intense; or she would ought to act like a vampire and turn out to be a nocturnal human. Vera disclosed that she spent Ksh 50 million to bleach her skin but the results speak louder than her claims; it is so despicable that how best I can describe it. I mean how to you spend such a colossal amount of cash only to get a not so good result yet a ten bob steel wool could yield the same results? I am not hating at all, let us not even tripe about it; Vera looked way sexier in her former look than what she looks now.

The question some people would ask is why everybody is so concerned about Vera’s personal business yet it is her life and she can do whatever she wants; the answer is simple. Vera goes rampage on social media flaunting her perceived great looks and her stylish life of which no one really knows how or who finances it; without someone to correct her then other girls too would think whatever she does is right. People have to stand up and correct her less we want the society full of confused girls who think exposing their nudity is the only way to earn a living and to be famous as well.

The society has all the right to condemn what is perceived as wrong; it is the moral obligation of any right thinking person to correct a wrong deed. Remember Esther Arunga? Would she have listened to all those voices telling her to stop associating herself with sociopaths like Quincy maybe she would be the queen of Kenyan television today and probably she wouldn’t have lost her child as well. We all got to stand up and correct Vera before she self-destructs too; that is just my opinion, what is yours?

 

Jogi Baro seemed to be the long waited “messiah” of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexuals and Transgender (LGBT) society in Kenya as he/she set a benchmark for the latter to come out of their closets to openly declare their sexualities as well.

I bet Jogi Baro will be happy to know that another gay person has finally come out of his/her cocoon of shame and rejection to ultimately stand his/her ground about his/her sexual orientation. DURATION OF MARRIAGE: 34 Days.

DIVORCE: By the 23rd day,Prezzo is tired of Carol’s huge ego. Because,as we all know,Caro stopped cooking for Prezzo by Day 5. Dont even talk of his clothes….she has NEVER washed them. Or seen them. Carol is NEVER home anyway…too busy meeting too many people. Carol comes home at 11pm every night. Prezzo comes home 4 hours later. Carol doesn’t like Bling. Or blinged teeth. So they’ve NEVER kissed. And on Prezzo’s side,Its worse. He shows up at 2am. Every night. Drunk like Makanga wa Kayole. Prezzo also insists on going to bed wearing his Versace shoes. Plus Prezzo wouldn’t quit flirting with his 47 Ex-Girlfriends. From Tanzania to Ghana to Senegal. Plus Prezzo eats designer food. And Carol has NO idea on how to prepare a Gucci Ugali. Or Loui Vuitton Matoke. Hii marriage ni bure kabisa! By day 34,Its over! Prezzo goes back to his 2004 Ex-Girlfriend. Carol goes back to Meeting her bosses. Huddah is happy. So is Chagga Barbie. VENUE: Big Big Wedding…At the Masaai Mara. Hundreds of Cameras…And News Journalists. From BBC to CNN to Inooro Fm. A billion Flowers…45 Limousines. A hot air balloon. 5 Lions. A Plastic surgeon on standby. 3 Ambulances. And the Founder of Instagram.

DURATION OF MARRIAGE: 2 Months.

DIVORCE: You can blame it all on Vera. Juacali was a good guy anyway. Juacali was home by 6pm Everyday. Akiwa amebeba nyama na mkate ya Naivas. But Vera was NEVER home. Like,NEVER HOME! She was always out there….striking deals,finalizing on a surgery,meeting investors who wanted to invest in her body, shooting 4 Reality shows per day. Vera never showed up at home. Ever! Juacali ended up buying a dog. At Kangemi. Too Bad,the dog didn’t like him either. It disappeared by day 3. Never came back. Juacali got lonely. And lonelier. And loneliest. He decided enough was enough. He tried to call Vera. She was OFF. Everyday. He inboxed her on Facebook…told her,”Veraaaaa Unajua Niaaaje…Nataka Divorce…” Vera replies 6 days later. VENUE: Kawangware PCEA Church. 13 People showed up. 3 borrowed Cars. One photographer…who also is the Best Man. Alot of food. From Dagoretti Women’s Outside Catering Services. Alot of Blaqy’s music. No flowers. 99 Balloons.

DURATION OF MARRIAGE: 13 Days.

DIVORCE: From Day One,Risper Faith started asking Blaqy to pay her for marrying her. Blaqy thought that was stupid. And called Ghafla to complain. Risper was a good cook…But she would cook then eat it all. Leaving Mr.Blaqy starving. Poor Boy. Blaqy also made things worse by insisting that ONLY his music would be played in the house. No other music. Risper also complicated things. Blaqy would buy a 2-litre Golden Fry cooking oil container. And instead of using it to cook,Risper would sprinkle it allover herself. Every morning. Things also got awkward when Risper started stealing Blaqy’s Black boxers. And selling them on OLX. Blaqy got even more pissed off after Risper started leaving negative comments on his Youtube videos. Na hapo ndipo ndoa ilimalizikia. By Day 12,Blaqy had quit Risper. And music too.

 

ANGELINE WANJERI OF KISS TV AND BAHATI.

VENUE: NPC,Valley Road. Angeline’s Bridal Dress is actually a see-through mini-skirt. Angeline is the Wedding MC. And Presiding Pastor. And photographer. Alot of flowers. And Gospel Artistes. Not enough food. Magari za kifahari. 100 red balloons.

DURATION OF WEDDING: 2 Years.

DIVORCE: Two Years is a LONG time. Very long. Because Bahati is born again. And loves God. And people. Angeline, actually, was the Husband in the marriage. The ONLY time Bahati spoke during the marriage is the day his said his vows. And from there on,Bahati never said a word. Labda Kulia tu. Machozi Machozi. Angeline would come home late and start presenting gossip to the neighbors. Bahati would complain about something. And then Angeline would laugh. Laugh hard. Bahati stared getting tired. And wishing he married a rock. Angeline would bring the whole KISS TV crew home. And Bahati would be forced kulala kwa servant quaters…Akiimba Visa…Visa…Bahati got tired. And asked for a Divorce. Angeline laughed hard. Laughed till the following day. Na mambo ikaishia hapo. What a sad 2 Years.

 

ANTO NEO SOUL AND MUTHONI DRUMMER QUEEN.

Venue: A random blankets event. With performances from Makadem. And Eric Wainaina. Alot of Nyama Choma. Dreadlocks. And weird people.

DURATION OF MARRIAGE: 40 Days.

DIVORCE: Muthoni wouldn’t stop behaving like a MAN. Anto wouldn’t STOP behaving like a Woman. Muthoni wouldn’t STOP talking like a Man. Anto wouldn’t STOP talking like a Woman. Marriage had to end. Its a marriage…Not a transgender festival.

BONOKO AND HUDDAH MONROE.

Venue: Two Weddings…One at Globe Cinema Roundabout,Ngara. And another at Kileleshwa. Kwa Nyumba ya Prezzo. Few people attend. 3 NGOs attend. And a billion photographers.

DURATION OF MARRIAGE:14 minutes.

DIVORCE: Huddah was DRUNK the whole time. She sobered up by the 14th Minute. And wondered who was this nigga snoring next to her. Dreaming out aloud. Bonoko was high too. The whole time…And he sobered up by he 14th Minute too…Huddah screamed out loud…Grabbed her phone and called Prezzo. Who showed up 5 seconds later…Drunk as well. Bonoko laughed..And asked…”Eh,nimejipataje hapa na uyu mlebo. Heeeey Plesssooo Plesssoooo napenda goma zako. mo faya mo faya! Uyu diye Udah? Ama ni Vela?? DIVORCE: Lilian Muli couldn’t understand a single thing Rabbit said. Rabbit couldn’t understand as single thing Lilian said. Marriage dissolved.

Venue: Changes Club,Westlands. Too much shisha. Too much semi-nudity. Too much noise. Too much screaming. Too much drunkenness. Too much food. Too much crap.

Miss Mbugua is a news anchor with Citizen TV, actress in Rush and a philanthropist working with the ‘Inua Dada’ foundation.

Inua Dada is a non-profit organization that aims at protecting the dignity of the girl child while empowering them and preserving their rights as young females. Among the vices they have had to fight against include FGM, sexual abuse and early marriage .They also provide sanitary towels to the needy.

 

 

Janet and the Inua Dada foundation recently got a new lease on life when they received a hefty amount of cash from The Jomo Kenyatta Foundation, Kenya’s first publishing house.

Her role as the Human Resource Manager in Juma Anderson’s company on Papa Shirandula has been her most iconic role to date. The mother of one also double up as a news anchor and worked for Q F.M as a Swahili news anchor.

More information coming in about the scandal in which a pastor was caught pants down with someone’s wife is even making people raise more questions about the whole incident.

When the alleged husband to the cheating wife stormed the guest house with camera crew to bust the pair in their moment of romantic extravaganza; many people were quickly excited at the whole drama because it is intriguing anyway. Who would not be curious to see a preacher being caught in a compromising situation with someone’s wife in a guest house? But a second analysis of the situation will definitely leave you with more questions than answers.

First of all; when the husband raided the guest house, he quickly rained blows on the lady. The interesting thing is that despite being beaten by the husband, the lady kept on smiling and was not even ashamed to hide her face. She courageously posed for a photo shoot with her enchanting smile; I mean come on guys, how many times have we seen guys being busted for various reasons trying all means to hide their faces?

The second thing that even raised curiosity further is the fact that the alleged husband is not even the lady’s legal husband per se; he is her ex-husband. Would you be so concerned to go bust a woman who you no longer share intimacy together? The man said they parted ways with the lady and he was only supporting the child they had together so busting the pair had only proved his suspicions that the lady had long been cheating on him and that the child they have could be as well be the pastor’s.

The cameras, perfecting timing to bust the cheating pair and the lady’s bright smile throughout the whole incident really makes me to smell a rat; the ex-husband alleges that the lady is always like that, smiles even when being beaten. Do you think the clergy man was intentionally set up?

About 3 weeks ago, worrying news about Louis Otieno’s health reached us courtesy of Robert Alai.

We were told that the Former TV presenter and talk show king had been rushed to the Mater hospital in a critical condition.

Louis Otieno was fighting for his life Mater Hospital’s High Dependency Unit (HDU) and was alleged to have been fighting alcohol addiction too.

Today we called up his mum Ramogi FM boss, Elizabeth Omollo to find out how he was doing. She informed us that Louis had been discharged and was recovering back at home.

She however declined to reveal what ailment had put him in his life-threatening state. We wish Louis Otieno a quick recovery and hope that he will make his way back to our screens and reclaim his position as the king of talk shows.

 

The last three weeks have been extremely tough for one of the biggest gospel voices Shiru WA G.P.

Her new-born son met an untimely death two weeks ago and news just in is that Shiru and here other new-born have been hospitalized. Shiru who buried her son just last week has now been admitted to Nairobi Women’s hospital with a heart problem.

Her remaining baby Esther is currently admitted at Mp Shah Hospital.

This story is very tragic and we can only hope and pray for the best for this family as they go through this trying time.

There is just something about cockroaches that triggers my gag reflex now imagine those creepy crawlies in your food. Pretty gross right?

A few Kenyans were treated to this rude shock when they found a cockroach in their food after allegedly coughing up 18,000 for a meal. Gypsy bar is the accused venue that served up a dish with a side of cockroach.

A person by the name Ercik M had this to say about his nasty visit there:

“Quite appalled by their service on the 23rd of September 2014! And it was a first visit for most of us, in a group of 6.
1. They serve us cockroach which wasn’t even part of our menu… nor was it what we ordered
2. Their manager Francis Wood was unapologetic about it… Disgusted by their service and hygiene! Disgruntled customer!

After this complaint to them, this was their DISGUSTING RESPONSE to my colleague (Please note we paid the bill in full, about $200 or Kshs 18,000):

“Dear S,

The cockroach was found in the starter portion of your meal. However after complaining, and voicing your disgust, you and the other 6 people on the table continued and completed your main course with satisfaction, You then demanded a full discount on all the items consumed, .threatening to post your carefully taken photo on social media and other media.. Francis rightly offered you a partial discount.

We note with interest that the cockroach is on the plate and not put aside, which any reasonable person would have done. Your picture clearly shows that you enjoyed the dish with the cockroach on it.
You may have found this an opportune moment to claim a free meal for you and others on the table. This was not possible as your table happily consumed all the food ordered despite the cockroach. This seemed contradictory, and attempting to claim a free meal with threats was done in bad taste.

Other customers allege an even bigger issue, the presence of prostitutes in the popular hang-out joint. Something which came as a shock to me because I have known for the longest time that Gypsy was a gay bar!

We called up the management at Gypsy but our calls went unanswered.
