Just before she concluded the call, Joy asked Kirubi for his number so that she could meet him one on one to learn more tips from him. Chris was caught off guard by the question. He hesitated for a second before he could find the most appropriate answer to respond.

“Oh my word! That becomes difficult for meeting me one on one, am so busy. You communicate with me through social media, am permanently available.” Kirubi responded.

Comedy Aside, Comedian Obinna Ike Igwe Goes Back To The Village And… Well, This Is What He Is Currently Experiencing Away From The Busy City

If you are an ardent Nation FM listener. you will definitely realize that something is missing from the station. And that something is nothing but those morning jokes that comedian Obinna Ike Igwe brings on air.

Well, the comedian is back in the village in what he describes as a break from the hustle and bustle of the busy city, Nairobi.

However, as Obinna came to realize, the village has its own surprises. The comedian has been sharing some funny but real scenes of how he is finding life in the village.

First, it was his arrival. On his arrival, their cow gave birth. That has been captured by the comedian. Have a look at this:

Then came his car. When darkness falls, they cover his car with a black polythene to camouflage it from thieves and whatever that may befall it. See this:

And then Obinna makes us wonder if he is a single parent or something of that sort. The comedian shares a photo of himself washing his children’s clothes, and says this is the first time he is doing this. Look at this:

Ample Bosoms on Curvy Women are Nothing But Fabulosity! Check This Out

For centuries, the skeletal, sickly girls who pass as fashion models have been praised! Containing more meat on your skin was shunned and looked down upon on that account, ridiculous ways have been used by plus size women in hopes of getting that model figure that media has for centuries put down our throats as the ideal woman. Bahati Showers Praise On Younger Brother To Rufftone And Daddy Owen. Find Out Why and Where You Can Catch Him Perform #SportPesaFestival

The other day Ghafla Kenya highlighted a story about a younger brother to Gospel singers Rufftone and Daddy Owen.

Slejj, as he calls himself, has also plunged himself into the gospel music industry after releasing his very first video, which is arguably his debut video.

However, even as the young singer tests the depth of the gospel music waters, celebrated gospel artist Bahati is already talking big about Slejj and his music.

Bahati has taken to his social media account to falaunt Slejj’s video and gave it a massive backing as one of the best videos of 2015.

The singer says that Slejj is destined for bigger things ahead following his wonderful debut single.

This is what Bahati posted on his facebook page about Slejj:

“Evening ‪#‎TeamBahati‬…. This night I present to you One of the talents am confident about. I believe he got what it deserves to represent Christ in this generation. Kindly help me to officially welcome ‪#‎SLEJJ_MWATIA‬ ‪#‎DaddyOwens_Rufftone_YoungBrother‬…Show your Support…”

And this is the video Bahati is praising:

Make sure to catch him perform at the Sport Pesa festival on the 31st of this month alongside Size 8, Nameless, Juacali, Wyre, Stella Mwangi(STL), Kristoff and Khaligraph. There will also be great musical fusions from the likes of DJ Creme De La Creme, Joe Mfalme, Pierra Makena and Mo as well as Artzone dancers.

And it’s pretty simple to be part of all this.

All you have to do is possess a sportpesa account and be part of those people who have already placed their bets. Then you’ll be required to send a short message, “FESTIVAL” to 79079. From there you’ll be entered into a draw and once picked, you’ll receive a confirmation message confirming that indeed you have won. A second message containing a unique ticket number will be sent to you as the festival nears.

And don’t worry even though you’re a first participant. All you have to do is send “FESTIVAL” to 79079 where you will receive a message with the necessary instructions. And here is the fun part; your ticket allows two people to enter so you can surprise your spouse, friend or even family member. Just make they are of legal age.

Log into Facebook and search Sportpesa festival or twitter @sportpesafest for more information.

Is Ray-C Now Promoting Vera Sidika’s Bleaching Cause? See Details

Ray-C moved to Kenya back in 2012 to give a her career a new lease on life , but her visit almost turned tragic as her addiction to drugs escalated to a scary level. Back at her home, newspapers in Tanzania shared unsettling photos of Ray-C high as a kite after snorting some cocaine.

These distressing photos triggered a campaign to take her back home and the Tanzanian president even intervened and took her to rehab. About 3 years later, Ray-C is yet to get back to the top, but she is back on her feet.

She has started a body lotion line that claims to clear skin by getting rid of dark spots and hyper-pigmentation.It also promises to help you achieve your desired skin tone and make your skin silky smooth .

The crazy thing is that the lotion claims to treat the very same things that Dencia’s Whitenicious cream treats.

Dencias-Whitenicious-Cream.jpg

Plus Ray-C has been looking much lighter of late just like our sister Miss V Beiby .

ray_c_lotion.jpg

And the lotion does not even have a label…much like those mkorogos peddled at River Road .Lotions safe for human use usually have the ingredients splashed across it to guide the users in order to avoid allergic reactions to the product.

lotion.jpg

Is her new ‘lotion’ line just a little bit suspicious or it just a badly packaged product?

Former TV Anchor Roasts Dennis Itumbi On Social Media. Find Out What Their Beef Is All About

Since leaving KTN as a sports news anchor, Saddique Shaban seems to have plunged himself into the world of activism.

He has been on the forefront to castigate and rebuke what he feels is not right for the society.

This explains why he is on the neck of the Director of Digital communication in the Office of the President, Dennis Itumbi.

Through his twitter handle, Saddique has taken on Itumbi, demanding that he names the grabbers of the land that belongs to Lang’ata Primary School and which has brought a lot of conflict.

His tweets clearly indicate that Shaban is not cooling his jibes on Itumbi, going to an extent of saying that Itumbi does not know what he tweets.

Here is what he tweeted:

What??? Here Are The Shocking Things Miss Nairobi Did To This Popular Machachari Actor, Causing Him To Release A Song And Video About It

Women …women …women. They make men do crazy things. The woman in question here is Miss Nairobi – a former one of course. What she did to this popular Machachari actor is just so serious that he had to release as song and video about it. Trust me, if you like music that’s loaded with smooth story telling and lurid details, you won’t find anything better than this.

From the show, you all know him as Barbgee, the light dreadlocked guy but his rap moniker is Stitch. And he’s been representing for a while now. The guy is just as good a rapper as he is an actor. It’s quite evident that only a few humans can manage to juggle the two careers without any strain.

The young rapper-cum-actor can spit…..he’s clever…and he has colorful quotables for the history books. What it takes to succeed in this industry is momentum and there’s no doubt that if he keeps that up, he might just supplant the current kings that occupy the shrines of rap.

stitchie2

Stitch (also known as Barbgee)

In the track titled ‘Miss Nairobi, Stitch collaborates with another unbelievably gifted MC called Jublak and together they uncover the darker sides of heartbreak and romance. The video is so well shot that for a moment I thought it was Director X who did it. And If this is the direction Kenyan hip hop is going, then Amen to that. I fully endorse.

jublakkkk

Rapper Jublak, who collaborates with Stitch in the track

Surely, Miss Nairobi, why do you have to be so heartless? Look what you did to this guy. But they say what doesn’t murder you makes you tougher right? This is the real ‘in your face’ kind of track. If what the pretty model did resulted in the making of such a masterpiece, then all I can say is that good things do indeed come out of bad ones.

Watch the video below to get the story.

This Is How avril Reacted To Laika’s Ice-Cold Diss

Even before Avril’s video alongside Ommy Dimpoz dropped on youtube, we already had a lowdown on just how average it was.

This was after Laika took to Instagram and criticized the song saying that is sounded like a repetitive nursery school record and was too pedestrian for someone who has been in the industry for that long.

She went ahead and told Avril that if she could not move forward lyrically ,she can either step aside or grow the F up.If You Missed it you can check it out here

As you can imagine, this scathing public criticism has not gone down well with Avril and this was the simple reaction she had to Laika’s diss

See What Larry Madowo Did To His Sister On Her Birthday

We would start by saying Larry Madowo has a sister. Or just say Larry Madowo’s sister was celebrating her birthday the other day. Or simply say Larry Madowo’s sister ‘turned 16’ the other day. Whichever the opening words, the message is at home.

What I need to tell you is that Larry narrowly failed his sister on her birthday.

So what did he do? That is probably the next question you are about to ask. Well, before you do it, I will let you know. But before I do that, how will you feel if you realized on your birthday your closest elder brother does not give a mind about it. Probably because they are too busy to remember or they just don’t see it as a big deal?

These probably are some of the questions Larry’s siz, Liz, was asking herself until the NTV anchor showed up with a belated happy birthday message.

Larry finally showed up with this:

liz

“Belated happy birthday to the best sister a guy could ever ask for. She turned 16 again”

This Is What Celebrities Are Saying About Yesterday’s Happenings At Lang’ata Primary School

Yesterday saw pupils of Lang’ata Primary School get tear-gassed by police officers after they brought down a perimeter wall put up by a private developer who is said to have grabbed their playground.

The incident which has provoked condemnation from all corners of the globe and prompted interior CS Joseph Nkaissery to visit the school and tender an apology to the pupils has had almost everyone speaking about it.

In our offices, a heated debate is ongoing as writers express different views over the same. This is the same thing, we believe is going on in the country. This is why we have sampled for you some of the reactions from celebrities who have expressed different views over the same:

Radio Citizen’s Uncle Fred Obach Machoka said:

The director of Digital Communication in the office of the President, Dennis Itumbi posted on his facebook page saying:

1. Let me very clear on where I stand on the issue of Langata -It is unacceptable to stop every demo just for the sake of it ‪#‎LangataPrimary‬

2. Using Children in Demos is wrong, I sympathize with parents who got calls telling them their children are in hospital #LangataPrimary

3. Children or no children, picketing should be allowed&demonstrators protected, unless cancellation benefits demonstrators #LangataPrimary

4. Police also deserve our respect, seen photos of injured&bleeding policemen, nothing justifies injuring a Policeman #LangataPrimary

5. I pray for every injured child, may you be healed #LangataPrimary

6. Was the Land in question grabbed/not? That is an answer am sure we will get as promised,Let facts come before I comment #LangataPrimary

7. I ask did the activists bring their kids to the demo?Actions by Police were wrong, so was allowing kids to join activists #LangataPrimary

8. Finally, let me insist it was wrong to teargas children&wrong to break up the demo. It was also wrong to use kids in demo #LangataPrimary

9. If you truly stand for freedom of expression, you should talk and hold an opinion and also allow other to talk and hold one too #LangataPrimary

Caroline Mutoko also posted saying:

Spare me the feeble attempt to defend the indefensible.
Over the years and throughout the history of this great nation, students, teachers and parents have had demonstrations in school.

There have been demonstrations about school principals, bad teachers, poor grades, ghosts in dormitories (nkt), poor food and even land grabbing… just like the case in Langata

Only today and in this instance have CHILDREN been tear-gased.
So spare me the B.S. This nation has a rich history of school demonstrations complete with screaming students.

“What were the kids doing there?”
It is THEIR school and that is THEIR playground.

WE DO NOT TEAR-GAS CHILDREN! PERIOD!

Ciku Muiruri also said:

As a parent, I’m horrified by these pictures that I’m seeing. And I’m afraid that there is plenty of blame to pass around. Let me start with the biggest culprits – The police: Shame on you! What demons have possessed you? Even if you were given an order to use tear gas and you saw children in the crowd, are you robots who cannot think for yourselves? Heads must surely roll! Secondly, Langata Road Primary school – I’m sorry but what were you thinking??? Yes, ‪#‎OccupyPlayGround‬ activists can happily use kids to grab headlines but surely, as a school, you cannot knowingly put children in harms way. I have to sign a consent form for everything under the sun when it comes to my child and school activities. Tell me, did all the parents of these children agree to this demonstration? Because I tell you, if they did not sign a consent form, you will be slapped with so many lawsuits, your heads will spin. Oh, the poor babies…

Mission Tonight? Karaoke.. Don’t be Shy, Give it a Try.

Dennis Itumbi Reacts To The Tear Gassing Of Lang’ata Pupils That Has Garnered International Media Attention

The tear gassing of demonstrating pupils by the Kenya Police has sparked a  fierce protest on social media and has garnered media attention, negative attention.

CABU GAH DIARIES: The Kenya Police, Boniface Mwangi And The Lang’ata School Kids….A World Gone Mad.

Yesterday, Nairobi came to a little standstill. All courtesy of some little people, their not-so-little comrades. And a final crew of a bunch of people with very little regard for kids or for the welfare of the poor.

What started off as a genuine protest against arrant thievery of public land quickly escalated into a full-blown combat with some very defenseless kids on one side an a trouble-loving Police force on the other-Armed to the teeth.

Much of the Kenya Police never shy away from an opportunity to demonstrate their thickheadedness. And Yesterday was no different. Clad in full combat gear and positioned around Lang’ata Primary School as early as 10am in the morning, this was a lot that, clearly, was spoiling for a row.

And when the chance for a scuffle finally presented itself, the police gleefully lunged at it,leaving a trail of destruction behind.

It all started when word spread across social Media that some parcel of land, which was supposed to be a play ground for the innocent kids at Lang’ata Primary School, had been unlawfully grabbed by some very enterprising-and also very powerful-politician in the current Jubilee Government. I will desist from naming the politician for obvious reasons. I kind of hate surprise trips to Muthaiga Police Station.

Armed with that information, vexed members of the Civil Society and the general social media populace felt the need to,as they say in activism terms,”stick it to the man”. And so,very effectively and efficiently, a public protest was called for. A day was set,an agenda was agreed upon,a circular was circulated and a motive was born.

And of course, the protest had to have a leader. And who better to lead the onslaught than renown Kenyan militant,Boniface Mwangi.

Day came and, armed with some information and desire for truth and justice,Boniface and his crew descended on the Lang’ata Primary School play ground….to teach the grabbers a thing or two on how to occupy lands.

And occupy they did. Buoyed by a hashtag,‪#‎OccupyPlayGround‬.

But the occupation didn’t last for long. Neither did what was supposed to be a peaceful day. Things went south pretty quick and the Police, who had been dutifully perching across the playground waiting for orders, quickly joined into the foofaraw. And did quite a mess of a job.

Heartless and brainless and senseless as they’ve always proved to be,the Police did the unthinkable; they literally doused innocent school kids in toxic tear gas fumes…plunging them into a coughy, throaty and teary world within a minute…making them scamper and scurry and yell and scream…calling out for their mothers and falling over into ditches…screaming and shouting.

The police didn’t stop. No,they lobbed more tear gas into the frenzied crowd. And more. And more.

It was a scene straight out of a 1960 Mississippi Black Riot Sunday Movie. And the sight of crying kids….their faces blurred by the powerful effects of the blinding fumes betraying the effect of the situation and the callousness of our Police.

No one was safe. Neither the kids from whom land had been soooo heartlessly grabbed. Nor the adult activists themselves. Or teachers too…All of whom, just like the kids, had scurried to safe places…their noses running and their eyes as watery as a Brazilian canyon.

I was horrified to watch these frail beings being ferried across the grounds, wailing and yelling, their feeble eyes too watery to see and their minds too befuddled to comprehend the madness that had just happened. I was appalled to watch kids who could have been 5…Or 6…get introduced,so callously,to the life of the brutality and outright stupidity that they had to live with once they were grown.

It was a horrifying sight. And quite unnerving.

Who are these police officers?? Who gave birth to these bunch of soulless mortals?? Which schools did they attend?? What were kind of training did they receive at Kiganjo?? Did they have children of their own??

Those are the burning questions that were splitting through my mind as I watched these satanic reprobates douse little kids in tear gas. And flog them and clobber them with batons.

But what surprised and angered me more was….Who,in their right mind, allowed these defenseless feeble beings to go into a battlefield??

Who allowed these kids to enter into a warzone?? Who led them there?? Who told these kids that it was right for them to go,full throttle, into such a volatile situation in a bid to “fight for their rights”??

That was totally uncalled for. And unnecessary. And foolish. And dumb. And downright stupid.

Kids,I will repeat, had NO business being at the center of the running battles. Kids didn’t have to make a cameo in the combat. They’re kids,Dumbass!

These kids SHOULD HAVE been allowed to sit safely in their classes and let the adults, who are career activists, anyway, carry out the trade of the day. And bear the brunt of the police brutality ALONE.

Heroes are supposed to Fight for the Weak. Not drag the weak into the fights.

But when I called Boniface Mwangi,He outrightly told Me that those kids were exercising their constitutional rights. And that they were out for tea break, anyway. And that, nobody dragged them to the war-zone,they found themselves there by the virtue of them being students at the school.

I beg to differ.

Do these kids normally behave in such a manner any other day?? NO. Do they kids normally storm out and cause a ruckus like they did Yesterday on any other tea break?? NO. Have these kids been doused in tear gas ever before?? NO. Have these kids incorporated the habit of tearing down perimeter walls and attempting to gouge metal gates from the hinges into their curriculum?? NO.

So,obviously, these kids MUST have been INCITED. And,very cleverly, urged to leave the comfort of their classrooms and pour into the playground to not only picket and carry placards and holler and cause a provocation, but also,Ferguson-style,surge forward, placard in hand, and,in the last attempt to finally provoke and intimidate Mr.Police Officer, attempt to bring down a concrete perimeter wall and gouge out a metal gate from its roots. These kids were inaugurated to hooliganism. Yesterday.

I maintain that that was WRONG. And people who know just how trigger-happy and brutal our police can be should be SMART enough to know that allowing kids in such a dangerous situation is a NO-NO.

But it happened,anyway.

In as much as I condemn the police officers who lobbed tear gas at a group of primary school kids,I must also condemn the guy who thought it wise to incorporate kids into the act. Thus gravely endangering their lives and exposing them to dangers and situations that they may never recover from. Physically or emotionally.

But the biggest CRIMINAL here is the guy that stole the land in the first place. Yes,that super-wealthy elected leader. That’s the main criminal.

But it’s sad that that guy will never be arrested for grabbing the land. Sadder that he will never be hauled to court. And even saddest that he will never lose his job for being such a covetous swine.

And it’s unfortunate that the guy that will face the negative consequences of all of this madness is NOT the big guy…But the small guy;The Boniface Mwangi. And the poor police officer.

Man eat man society! Pooh!

Mr. Politician……

Interior CS Joseph Nkaissery Visits Langata Primary School And Begs For Forgiveness From The Pupils

Still on matters land grabbing and tear-gassing of innocent kids, the Cabinet Secretary for Interior Affairs has visited Lang’ata Primary School and tendered an apology following yesterday’s incidences.

Kenyan police have come under heavy scrutiny after they tear-gassed children peacefully demonstrating against grabbing of their play ground by a private developer.

The incident led to the suspension of Lang’ata OCPD who is believed to have ordered police to lob tear gas canisters towards the pupils, resulting to five of them getting hospitalized.

nkaissery

The government came under heavy ccriticism for the unfortunate developments and this has prompted Nkaissery to make a trip there this morning to apologise to the children.

Nkaissery has also promised that the land will remain to the school as the private developer is required to clear all the debris within a week or so.

This comes as a reprieve to the kids whose playground had been seized.

At Last Avril Finds Her Love In The Neighbouring Tanzania But Fears One Thing. Find Out What It Is

Avril has been off to Tanzania of late but now it is evident that indeed her mission has borne fruits after she landed one of her.

The sensational Kenyan singer landed on Tanzanian singer Ommy Dimpoz and the struck a deal almost two years ago, a deal that would take this long to materialize.

Finally, the two have released their track Hello Baby.

The video which was released yesterday shows the two singers get cozy together, caressing in a heart-warming manner, making the whole video an adventure.

You need to watch this video and make your own judgment. Has Avril finally landed in her comfort zone?

Here is the video:

Here Is The Special Birthday Present Wangechi Received From MTV (Photo)

Yesterday, Wangechi was celebrating her birthday and she received a present that really uplifted her spirit.

After being involved in a horrific road accident that threaten to halt her music career, Wangechi has continued to received enormous support from her fans that has kept her going.

As she clocked 21, Wangechi received a special birthday present from MTV Base. Perhaps it’s the best present to uplift her musical since she got involved in the road accident.

awang

The birthday present from MTV Base was recognition of the day Wangechi came to existence. MTV officially wished Wangechi a happy birthday on screen. That just tells you how Wangechi is highly rated in the continent as a rapper.

After Mercilessly Stripping Avril, Laika Now Defends Her Action

Just yesterday, Laika was busy tearing Avril on her Instagram handle. But after things got “hot”, she decided to offer an explanation.

Dazzling songstress, Laika had zero chills for Avril. Yesterday, she ruthlessly mauled her saying she was beginning to sound like one long repetitive nursery school record in her collabo with Tanzanian heartthrob, Ommy Dimpoz.

                                                                       Laika

This was what Laika said: There is a new song out by Avril n Ommy dimpoz,i was so excited when i heard the two have done a collabo but after listening to it thats the image I had! Like seriously,Avril has been in the industry for so long but her lyrics maturity levels are nil. And she seems to have dragged Ommy dimpoz in the mud too.Repeating those ‘badae badae’ lyrics…aiii? When she started I adored her,but now she is beginning to sound like one long repetitive nursery school record.Somebody needs to tell her.Like seriously.I mean, the song would have been ok for an upcoming artist but Avril has been in the industry waaaay too long. What is the difference between that song and the ‘ooh mama’ she started with?Where is the growth?IMO..many people look up to her and instead of being the lyrically stagnant artist she is choosing to be,she can either step aside or grow the F up.

ION i heard Arsenal won yesterday…

Upon her sentiment going viral, Laika quickly defended her action saying she was just criticizing Avril and not hating as many people thought.

Tear-gassing Of Langata Primary School Children Catches The International Eye And Taints Kenya’s Image Once Again

Yesterday saw the country turn back to the dark days when innocent school children peacefully protesting the grabbing of their land by a private developer were teargased by inhumane police officers, leaving some unconscious and needing urgent medical attention.

The unprecedented and unfortunate incident has once again caught the international eye, leaving Kenya a laughing stalk in the international scene.

The BBC in particular ran the story and even uploaded a video of the whole incident on their you tube channel, attracting ridicule in equal measure from across the globe.

Some of the comments that trickled down clearly indicate that our image has been badly portrayed in the face of the world, and something urgent needs to be done.

Here is a sample of some of the comments on the video that is quickly going viral:

There is a place where everything sucks and the longer you are there the worse it becomes. Things that would be horrible anywhere else in the world appear common place there and they have a special category called “Africa bad”. That place is Africa. – david minard

Don’t the officer’s them self’s have children would they shot tear gas at their own kids unbelievable have they no heart? – Erik Ornelas

And how many tears did the developer shed? – M Kenosian

Reprehensible acts of Kenyan police. – Victor Datta

Standard, Nation And Star Editors Maul The Media Council Of Kenya Over Its Threats On Deregistering The Star Newspaper

The Star Newspaper yesterday got a major backing after the Media Council of Kenya, a body entrusted with the authority to regulate the conduct of journalists in Kenya, threatened to deregister the newspaper over what it termed as contravening the code of conduct for the practice of journalism in the country.

Two major media houses in the country, The Standard and Nation jumped to the defense of the Star Newspaper and said that The Media Council of Kenya has no right to do so.

Speaking on Mark Maasai’s Press Pass on NTV, Standard Editor David Ohito and Nation Editor Macharia Gaitho defended their colleague from the Star, Mr. Charles Kerich, as he faced a flurry of questions over their recent publications which have courted controversy.

The Star has of late published information that did not go down well with the public, prompting the Media Council of Kenya to intervene and warn the newspaper over the same.

However, in what was seen as a show of solidarity with their fellow media house, Ohito and Gaitho defended their colleague Kerich saying that the Media Council of Kenya (MCK) is politically instigated and wants to join the government to suppress media freedom in Kenya.

Ohito was particularly critical of the government in the manner in which it is making the practice of journalism an uphill task in Kenya.

We are still waiting to see what MCK will do to the Star after the threats.

The Star Newspaper Writer, Oliver Mathenge Thoroughly Rebuked For Taking Issue With Demonstrating Langata Pupils

With almost everyone taking shots on imbecile police officers who fired tear gas canisters to demonstrating Langata Road Primary School pupils, Oliver Mathenge has shifted his attention to the “victims”.

The indiscriminate action by the police caused emotions to run high in the country with nearly everybody cursing them.

As much as it is hard to comprehend how a person with a sober mind can unleash such kind of brutality to vulnerable children, Oliver Mathenge questions the children’s role in the demonstration.

Oliver took to his Facebook page to ask whether it was morally right to give children the placards that they carried during the demonstration.

“Meanwhile, despite our anger at the police, we also need to decide whether it was morally okay to give children the placards.” Wrote Oliver.

aliver

That begs the question; were the children justified to demonstrate at the first place? Below are some comments posted after Oliver’s sentiment:

Aquillinah Wanjala Oliver:….. i think pple used the kids as baits…..the kids shudnt have been there in the first place…..parents n teachers shud hav been there….dragging them was wrong of the parents n teachers we hav bcome a striking n demonstrating nation

Josh Chokz: Was it morally right to grab the children’s play ground? Where was their chief protector; the govt???

Ibrahim Mwalagho: Shouldn’t children protest against injustices? Sorry I asked as if sycophants can think

Pauline Kay Muindi: Why not? Don’t kids have freedom of speech and right to hold peaceful demonstration?

Edgar Brian Omwango: Yes. It IS morally Okay to teach children to speak out against land grabbing.

Ruthmolaque Waruguru Waweru: The big issue here is land being grabbed and the tear gas….otherwise every1 and any1 has the right 2 hold a protest.

Joseph Murimi: You can’t defend the police on this. Just how dangerous was kids with placards?

Clouds Jimi Arap: when i was submitting my papers to campus, there had been a water shortage in the area and the students had been away on strike…so when at the offices somebody said that they were waiting for the students to be back and coz they would go on rampage, the water menace would be sorted… tafakari hayo.

Alphonce Otieno: was it moraly okay for police to use teargas?

Abiya Ochola: What was wrong with the placards?

Kimani Mumbi: Placards are not guns, or weapons

Mike Jow: Was it morally right to give victims the placard ? ????

Dance with me Audio Producer: Mastola Frank (Congo)

Video Director: Billy (Greece)

Artist: Serah Sarah (Kenyan)

Video Locations: ( Continental)

Guest Appearance: Ice Prince (Nigerian)

The Debut music Video was released to the public on the 7th January 2015. The concept is about African music being played, heard danced to and appreciated globally/internationally hence the different locations or countries.(taking the music literary to them)

Story begins with two friends, a Kenyan girl and a Russian girl in KIZA (Dubai’s 1st Afro fusion restaurant) but in the end finds herself dancing to her song  in a different Locations with different people.

Shooting it was an experience and an adventure and what is best than to engage a movie Director to spearhead the project. The Talented Greek Director “Billy” is very spontaneous, energetic and loves to capture real moments. “Story, Story, Story” is his philosophy.

Crowds gathered in the different locations as set up was being done, many questions were asked as who this African singer from Kenya was. (some shots were taken in areas where just my skin tone heightened curiosity leave alone the crew and camera equipment which helped alot for I right away saw an opportunity to do public performances)

The video is set to break the everyday use of flashy women, exotic cars (that Dubai is crawling with),money and alcohol and just for just this once engage the viewer in curiosity and interest to know where the video will take you next.

The one and only Multiple Award winning Nigerian Artist Ice Prince Making an appearance to an upcoming Kenyan Artist to me emphasizes the support and unity among African Artists.

To many this video leaves questions. Like How did this…where is this….who is this…….and why is this…….

Its all about what you can be able to do as an artist that can be seen as different unique and fresh.

Bernard won The Vodafone App Developer Competition and walked to the bank smiling with Shs. 1 Million!! Not only did he walk away richer than he was, this IT programmer had his application loaded onto Vodafone’s app store. He’s application allows automatic sending of text messages to schedule meetings and raises an alert on the set gathering.
