The Sportpesa festival finally went down at the Canivore Grounds as on Saturday as planned, and the event was graced by a number of Kenyan celebrities, making it one of the best end month events.

Despite the scorching sun of Lang’ata and the roaring of planes landing at the adjacent Wilson Airport, fans were treated with the best performances.

The MCs of the event were comedians Eric Omndi and Jalang’o who made the whole event attractive from the time they took to the podium.

Controversial businessman, Paul Kobia, came out to reveal the source of his wealth and to shed more light on his mental health.

Paul Kobia is mentally fit. At least that is the truth from the horse’s mouth. Kobia denies ever being a wacko saying he was hospitalized for fatigue and paranoia.

Following allegation he was heard bragging about killing the late Fidel Odinga, Kobia feared for his life saying he was afraid of being killed by Fidel Odinga’s fans. Kobia explains his fear turned to a paranoia that got him admitted in the hospital.

Kobia distanced himself from Fidel’s death saying he had a warm relationship with the late son of former Prime Minister even though they disagreed a couple of time.

On his wealth, Kobia revealed he deals with all kinds of gemstones from gold, diamond and many others.

“I export gemstones to different countries in Asia, Europe and America” Kobia told NTV’s Larry Madowo.
