Check Out Images Of Florida Nightclub’s Grand Opening

Florida is back! Beautiful people.

Just last Saturday it was re-opened, it wasn’t a hush hush opening, so nothing explains why you had no clue about it. The opening was grand: red carpet from the door up the stairs, the who and who in the entertainment industry was present, no ratchet ish, just mature people having maaad fun! et al…

For those who might be living under some rock, Florida was closed last year after 35 years of servicing it’s loyal revelers, many were sad, but trust me, when you see the new F1, the close was worth it. The Florida Group Team sat down and created MAGIC! I won’t be the buzz kill and tell you what to expect, but I’ll tell you this, you need to make your way to this Iconic Club, its New Florida, New Era & New Style.

I stumbled upon this pics on their FB page; https://www.facebook.com/NewFloridaClubF1, so this is how it went down.

Florida is located on Banda Street

Things Get Hot And Heavy As Nameless Grinds On A Fan

It was already hot at the recent Sport Pesa Festival, but things got even hotter when Nameless seductively grinded on a fan.

He invited a shapely lady in a figure-hugging orange dress to stage as he sang his hit single ‘Karibia’ and gave her a dance she will probably never forget. He pulled some moves that would make any grown woman blush amid cheers from the crowd who had attended the event.

{youtube}Y3swIdJDfP4{/youtube}

This is not the first time that Nameless pulled this move as he did so in a corporate event a while back. Hmm, I wonder how his wife feels about all this.

Drama Ensues On Radio Jambo as Man Exchanges Bitter Insults with Mother-In-Law

Relationships between people and their in-laws are a bit tricky, but at least respect is maintained and vitriol is often hurled behind someone’s back or the fights are carried out passive aggressively.

But in some instances people are not often civil as witnessed this morning on Radio Jambo’s Breakfast Show during their Patanisha segment. As the name suggests, the segment aims to patch up messed up relationships and reconcile estranged couples.

This morning Gidi and Ghost tried to patch up a botched relationship between a mother and his in law but what resulted was a vicious exchange of words as the angry mother-in-law could not contain her anger and resentment towards her son-in-law.

This was after the man by the name Edwin contacted Radio Jambo Breakfast Show in a bid to reconcile with his wife who has ran off with a primary school teacher.

Listen to it below:

For The First Time Ever, The ‘Mighty’ Robert Alai Bows To Pressure To Avoid Being Nagged. See What He Did

If there is one thing Robert Alai is good at doing apart roasting people, is openly snubbing his critics. Even so, he couldn’t ignore them this time round.

Alai has been coerced by his critics to do what they wanted him to do. Following his perpetual efforts to discredit NTV’s exposé on Nairobi Aviation College, people had started labelling him an alumnus of the defamed collage.

As a result of the critics’ constant pounding, Alai decided to produce evidence to prove he has never stepped at Nairobi Aviation Collage to acquire some cooked honorary.

robert.jpg

“FYI, this is my college ID. I support NAC in principle and because of the manner the investigations were done. #‎CertificatesOfDoomWrote Alai.

So he was once a student at the prestigious United States International University (USIU)?

Alai might not be an alumnus of Nairobi Aviation Collage but he has just proved one thing, every metal bends if you just subject it to the right temperatures. The ‘Mighty’ Alai gave in to his critics’ demands.

Team Thirsty, Want to Get Some? Then Here’s Why You Should Treat Your Lady to a Trip to The Picturesque Lake Elementaita

Ever get tired of the usual Valentines routine in your love life year in year out, or when your man doesn’t really care about the day, I mean, St. Valentine died, so what? One thing most men do not understand is like your birthday and New Year’s Eve, Valentine’s Day is another way of judging the state of your relationship, and it is really one panicky time of the year. Some of you single lasses will get gooey cards, chocolate and flowers for yourself just to feel loved.

Fortunately, local merchants know how desperate you are to make a good impression and so have conspired to make things very easy. Pick up a phone and call the organizers of ‘Nite of Roses’, they are having a romantic getaway to Lake Elementaita.

#NiteOfRoses save the date! Singles & couples tickets available on ticketsasa at 8,000ksh and 14,000ksh respectively

All travel arrangements, accommodation, the flowers, the wine and the gifts will be handled by the organizers.

Nairobi Aviation Students Likely To Roast Comedian Sleepy After Seeing What He Did To Them

The mockery and taunt on Nairobi Aviation College has been taken to another level after even celebrated comedians seem to be carried by the current wave.

The latest comedian to crack a funny funny joke out of the unfortunate activities going behind our backs is comedian Sleepy David.

In what is likely to turn out to be the joke of the week for many and a bitter pill for the already injured NAC students, Sleepy has mocked the institution by riding in a dustbin and purport to be driving in a practical offered by the college.

This may not go down well with the students but it is arguably the best joke of the week.

Okari exposed on Sunday evening how one can easily acquire a certificate from the institution with only Kshs.3,000 without attending even a single class.

This has prompted students from the institution to protest over the expose.

Here is what Sleepy posted:

Finally a Summit to Help You Expand Your Advertising Scope Into The Virtual World

NAIROBI, Monday 19th, January 2015……Marketers have been urged to tap the continuing rise in potential of East African economies for their organizations by tapping existing opportunities in the digital space.

The Digital Fair CEO, Mr Martin Muli, says the growing pool of talent in digital and mobile marketing space in the region offers companies opportunities for effective sales campaigns and revenue conversions.

“The changing marketing and media opportunities require marketers to evolve themselves and stay ahead of the market, while ensuring they remain relevant and competitive,” says Muli who is also the organizer of the annual Social Media Awards (SOMA).

Muli made the remarks ahead of the East Africa Digital Marketing Summit and Show set for Nairobi in April.

The event which will bring together key players in the digital marketing space from the regionwill give marketers opportunity to sample out latest digital media and communications applications.

More than 50 exhibitors from East Africa will participate in the summit themed Digital for effective marketing communication, which will include panel discussions by leading techies and marketers.

Topics to be explored during the summit include digital marketing global trends versus regional reality, emerging mobile technologies and trends, cyber security and management, the digital landscape: content generation and distribution and efficient digital gadgets for marketers.

The event is designed to bring together different providers of digital products and services under one roof to showcase their offering to marketers.

“The exhibitors will showcase the latest digital trends and engage marketers from different organizations. Digital solutions offer marketers limitless opportunities to accelerate growth of their brands,” says Muli.

The Summit whose inaugural event was held last year has been expanded to cover the East African region and will be held at the Kenyatta International Conference Center (KICC).

Celebrated Former Radio Queen Weighs In On The Nairobi Aviation College Saga

Nairobi Aviation College, Dennis Okari, NTV and Nation Centre are the trending names in Nairobi since yesterday evening. You mention one and the others pop up like an advert on a site.

Well, after that expose by Dennis Okari (Certificates of Doom) on NTV on Sunday evening, so many things have transpired within a span of just less than 24 hours.

Today Nairobians woke up to unprecedented protests by the outraged NAC students who jammed Kimathi Street to protest the expose which they termed as malicious and uncalled for.

The saga has caught many talking, voluntarily or involuntarily, with mixed reactions and views flying in from different quarters.

The latest celebrity to air her views on the same is celebrated former radio personality Caroline Mutoko.

As usual, Caro normally makes her points clear on pertinent issues, and therefore this was not an exception.

Mutoko said through her social media account:

When the name calling, the blame game, the funny memes and the demonstrations finally die-down on The Nairobi Aviation College expose – and we all have a sober moment to reflect – I hope we will ask ourselves two simple questions:

1. If the bogus certificate you are buying is saving you 3/4 years of fees at a cost of roughly Kshs. 300,000/=, surely the cost of that certificate should be at least HALF the value of the fees.
3,000/= just doesn’t cut it!!! When are we going to look out for ourselves enough to question even our dodgy deals.

2. As parents and guardians – when is the future of our children going to matter enough for us to get involved all the way. Kids don’t pay their own fees. We can look for people to blame and we will and we are – but the buck stops with us.
Someone realised that we don’t care enough and are not diligent enough, we are not involved enough – and saw a gap…….

Have an involved day

This Is Why Gospel Singer, Janet Otieno Thinks No One Can Fix Her Problems

With some friends having the tendency of letting you down the moment you need them the most, Janet Otieno chose not to share her problems with them.

Is she in a big problem that she can’t get out of? Not really, Janet Otieno only believes friends are unreliable that’s why she is pleading to the Lord to walk with her.

The songstress has released a new single dubbed ‘Tembea Nami’. Janet is praising God for His guidance in her life.

“wuoth koda Yesu wuoth koda… (walk with me Jesus walk with me…)” Janet sang in chorus.

The video was the good work of Tiger from Mind Vision. The videographer has done a really impressive work as the quality of video by all means meets the international standard for a video shoot. That is the quality of video musicians should strive to be shooting.

Check out the song below:

Official ‘Dance With Me’ Video Song

Dance with me Audio Producer: Mastola Frank (Congo)

Video Director: Billy (Greece)

Artist: Serah Sarah (Kenyan)

Video Locations: ( Continental)

Guest Appearance: Ice Prince (Nigerian)

The Debut music Video was released to the public on the 7th January 2015. The concept is about African music being played, heard danced to and appreciated globally/internationally hence the different locations or countries.(taking the music literary to them)

Story begins with two friends, a Kenyan girl and a Russian girl in KIZA (Dubai’s 1st Afro fusion restaurant) but in the end finds herself dancing to her song  in a different Locations with different people.

Shooting it was an experience and an adventure and what is best than to engage a movie Director to spearhead the project. The Talented Greek Director “Billy” is very spontaneous, energetic and loves to capture real moments. “Story, Story, Story” is his philosophy.

Crowds gathered in the different locations as set up was being done, many questions were asked as who this African singer from Kenya was. (some shots were taken in areas where just my skin tone heightened curiosity leave alone the crew and camera equipment which helped a lot for I right away saw an opportunity to do public performances)

The video is set to break the everyday use of flashy women, exotic cars (that Dubai is crawling with),money and alcohol and just for just this once engage the viewer in curiosity and interest to know where the video will take you next.

The one and only Multiple Award winning Nigerian Artist Ice Prince Making an appearance to an upcoming Kenyan Artist to me emphasizes the support and unity among African Artists.

To many this video leaves questions. Like How did this…where is this….who is this…….and why is this…….

Its all about what you can be able to do as an artist that can be seen as different unique and fresh.

The Way To Stella Mwangi’s(STL) Heart Will Definately Excite Kenyan Men

For many years many men have been wondering how to land that beauty, how to capture that chic’s attention, take her home and probably tap those goodies.

Well, that worry ends here. Ladies and gentlemen sit and listen to this very interesting story I am about to tell you.

First and foremost, STL is single. Now that does not deserve a hureeeeey! Hold on. I am about to tell you something better.

Here it is. This sensational Norway-based Kenyan singer loves food.

Speaking exclusively to Ghafla Kenya, Stella alludes that the way to her heart is simply food. And not just food but nice food.

All a man needs to do is know how to cook. And by the way it is not any type of food.

Here is the food the diva is talking about:

Love’s is Definitely in The Air For Funny Man Eric Omondi , His Valentine’s Weekend Plans Leaked to Ghafla!

After staging a very successful show in Nairobi & Mombasa just last month over Christmas wearing Santa Claus’ shoes, Erick Omondi is back again, causing a stir.

He is set to perform he’s much celebrated solo stand-up comedy show, ‘Untamed’, now we are on season three, which is headed to Safari Park Hotel on the 13th and on the 14th, he’ll be at Whitesands Beach Resort.

Just like the last many seasons of ‘Untamed’, Erick will be airing his naked truth for all to see with no supporting acts whatsoever. He’ll be a single man, one, one stage and three hours of nothing but rick-cracking jokes.

The comedy show has emerged as one of the biggest and most important stand-up comedy brands ever set up in Africa.

The petite stand-up comedian will be in Mombasa over the Valentine’s Day weekend, from 6pm to 11pm.

Come experience Eric Omondi at his best. Brought to you by Safaricom, Barclays, Kenya Airways, Martini & Stima Sacco.

This Is How It Happened When Nairobi Aviation Students Stormed And Stoned Nation Centre Early Today (Video)

Nobody expected this to happen but it did and it is now turning out to be the greatest story making headlines today and a few days to come.

Nairobi Aviation College students took to the streets and particularly to Kimathi Street where Nation Cenre is based, stormed its entrance and pelted stones and other objects into the giant building after a controversial expose aired on NTV on Sunday evening purported that most of the people in Kenya obtain certificates from the institution without going to class.

This must have angered the already irate and unruly students who felt infuriated by the exposes and decided to take their anger to Nation Centre.

Unfortunately, whoever tried filming the whole incident was buttonholed by the students who seemingly felt irritated by journalists, thanks to Okari’s expose.

However, Ghafla Kenya was able to capture some of the scenes from the incident and here we bring it to you:

5 Days to The Biggest Gospel Social Event… Do You Have Your Ticket Yet?

The ultimate Christian playground is coming in a big way this year, Gospel Hook-Up 2nd edition, the Love Edition that will bring together gospel music lovers, gospel celebrities, gospel personalities and all fun loving Christians under one roof.

Get this, Thee MOG, Bern, Guardian Angel and Adawnage or live on stage and no, there are no play backs but live band performances. If that doesn’t tickle your feather how about trying your luck at Karaoke and win fantastic prices for you and your friends……you might be recognized by a big shot while you’re at it.

And the male gender hasn’t been forgotten; drag your pal out to compete at our FIFA PlayStation 4 tent for great prizes. We also got pool tables that one can mingle with others while hitting some balls, literally.

If you got kids come with them, we got the craziest Toto’s corner that is bound to keep your children occupied all day long. The date to mark is the 8thFebruary 2015 at the Arboretum Park…and they thought that the gospel folk weren’t any fun, time prove them wrong.

Despite The Scandal Surrounding Her Alleged Decision to Ban the Poor from Her Church, Kenyan Celeb Confesses That Kathy Kiuna Has Changed Her Life

Kathy Kiuna came under fire in recent times after reports surfaced on social media that she had she banned the impoverished faithful from her church.

It was also said that she said that there were many churches in Nairobi that the poor could worship in, and Jubilee Christian Church was not it. In short, JCC was no church for poor people.

Whether this information was factual or erroneous, Kenyans did not care and Kathy received major clap back for these supposed claims. Even celebrities chipped in, each giving their opinion regarding this matter.

A week on, people are still talking about Mrs. Kiuna, but this time they are saying nice things. This is what lady Bee posted about the Kiunas

This is what I learned yesterday @jcc16 years of God’s faithfulness after watching a documentary of Dad and Mum’s journey of faith.Today I say this to you, it doesn’t matter the situation in your life right now, if God has written something in your heart that’s all, what God had written in your heart is final, no body can tunya you. Avril’s Face, Once Again, Makes Her a Subject Of Ridicule. You Won’t Believe This How She Looks Without Makeup (Photos)

Sassy singer, Avril has once again ‘shocked’ folks on social media with her new photo which appears to have been taken without makeup.

The first time Avril took a make-free photo without, it was horrific. She got trolled badly for it as guys could not comprehend she was the same pretty eye candy team Mafisi used to feast their eyes on.

avril1.jpg

Even so, that could not stop Avril from posting another selfie without her makeup. The songstress uploaded another ‘hideous’ photo that elicited mixed reactions.

avii2.jpg

Comparing the usual photos of Avril that have flooded the internet and the one she posted, it’s easy to tell there is a big disparity in physical appearance.

avii1.jpg

While some praised her, others criticised the photo. Check out some of the mixed comments posted after Avril uploaded her photo:

Ngwanamax: love yo hair-do..

David gachura: Forehead gamethough,,.. Still Cute

Are Kenyan Men Becoming Allergic To Over Weight Women?

Being overweight is fast becoming old fashioned. If you thought it was a woman problem, then you should think twice because there is as much number of men going to the gym for the same reasons. After a perfect representation of “Momo” in Murimi wa Kahalfs Video, you should be the judge of what “Kalaptop” should look like.

The worst name you will dare call a woman in Kenya especially is “Momo” meaning huge but any girl would smile if you called her “Kalaptop” here is why….

It’s All About Love & Laughter This Valentine’s Day With The Comedy Giants on The Stage

Stand-up comedy is hard! We are quick to criticize the comedians for their daily stale jokes, but the next time you are about to do that, have in mind it requires intelligence, speed of thought, memory and the ability to ride a successful tangent which ¾’s of us can hardly master in the click of fingers.

Rare is the comic these days who will make you laugh no matter what, the ‘All-Stars’ group is that stand-up. It’s a cocktail of all comedians Kenya could offer bringing an audience interactive humor. To headline this stand-up comedy night will be;

  • Chipukeezy
  • Karis
  • Sleepy
  • Dr. Ofweneke
  • Jalang’o
  • David the Student
  • Fred Omondi

Aside from these amazing comedians, there will be music from Kenya’s Crème de la Crème Dj. Shaffie Weru will also be in the house.

The outspoken Larry Madowo will be hosting.

See you at Hilton Hotel on the 14th of Feb, 2015 as from 6pm. Entrance is only 1,000 in which you get a free drink.

You can get your ticket at Hilton or call 0737 326 387 for reservation.

This Valentine’s Day, spruce up the love affair. Combine the two worlds of love and laughter all wrapped into one.

With every show, every set & every session, a new experience was born, and on each passing day we’ve grown to a new, higher level. Our deejays are different and unique in style. Our MCs are witty & wild in their own way of reggae toasting, a wicked mix that brought and still brings you a light hearted, interactive and humor filled reggae sessions.

We’ve taken a different style in beating down our own path and as such Rastyle sounds is arguably the fastest growing sound in the country going by the popularity of all our shows.  We currently host various club reggae sessions, 3 days a week with a climax super Sunday where we have radio and reggae sessions in 3 clubs, 3 Counties, 50kms apart on the same day.”

This is important for our People, fans and the company as a whole as we further expand our presence in the entertainment industry.

As a result of the name change, we expect a heightened sense of belonging and ownership, as fans, Friends, Sponsors and other partners in the industry experience an upgraded change to their new style and identity that is Rastyle.

Ghafla Exclusive: Robert Alai Pleads with Dennis Okari Not to Air the ‘Certificates of Doom Expose’ On NTV (EVIDENCE)

Meek. That is definitely not a word to describe Kenya’s resident provocateur Robert Alai. He is loud, he is boisterous and will certainly pummel down anyone standing in his way. But his intimidating nature hit a snag when he couldn’t bully his way through the Certificate of Doom Expose.

I know you are probably wondering what the connection between Alai and Nairobi Aviation College is, there could be no possible connection since Robert Alai is so impartial, or is he? Well, following news that the college would be exposed, Nairobi Aviation College did what any business savvy person would do, get someone who can help you save your reputation from being dragged through the mud. Someone who can nip the looming controversy at the bud,  an Olivia Pope of sorts.

Robert-Alai-512x288.jpg

And Alai was their Olivia Pope as demonstrated in a conversation I happened to lay my hands on. A humble Alai called up Dennis Okari trying to see if there was a way around the whole ‘Certificate of Doom Expose’.

(I have transcribed part of the conversation but i will post the full audio for you guys to listen to.)

Alai: Okari sasa, ni Alai hapa. Hii story ya certificate of doom, ni nini imefanyika na watu hawa Nairobi Aviation sasa. Wanasema hujawasikiza kabisa, watu was Nairobi Aviation.

Okari: They have told you that?

Alai:I have seen the conversation between you guys and you promised to see them, they have stayed form 9 to 4-5,unawapa tu kwamba utakuja kuwaona.

Okari: That’s what they have told you?

Alai: Wanacomplain that is why I have called you

Okari: Si story iko saa tatu , I want you to watch that story keenly and compare notes between what you see and what they are telling you. They are lying to you

GHAFLA EXPLORES: If You Thought Massaging Is The Only Activity That Takes Place In Nairobi’s Massage Parlors, You’re Terribly Wrong….. I Went To One This Past Weekend And These Are The Unbelievable Services I Was Offered

I have a knack for adventure and as I am sitting like a tightly coiled spring bored in my apartment on the evening of the last Friday of January, I make a decision to visit a massage parlor. I am eager to know if the stories about ‘happy endings’ are just gross exaggerations or the worst kept secrets. So I check my account via phone to see if my salary has reflected and it’s a go

I’ve heard that because the term ‘massage parlor’ has negative connotations nowadays, most respectable places that offer the ‘body rub’ now refer to themselves as day spas or therapy centers. And that’s exactly what i find when I reach the building I have been directed to by a friend who has been at the same place before. It’s labeled blab bla bla spa on the outside and I think it’s appropriate not to name it. From the outside, it looks like any other high end shop. To an untrained eye, not accustomed to seeking out a storefront massage parlors, the grimy red awning is virtually invisible among the artisanal coffee shops and cyber cafes. But to connoisseur, the red lights mean ‘pleasure.’

My heart beats a little faster as I approach the place but I do my best to remain calm.

At the reception, I meet a well-groomed man. His head is shaved smooth as a baby’s bottom. His edged beard is clipped close at it forms a goatee and he looks funny. I almost retreat but then he quickly starts a conversation, eager to not let business slide. He asks me a couple of questions just to make sure I am not a cop or journalist before groaning out the word “karibu” and directing me to a hot mamii seated at another desk on the room. The hot mamiii happens to be the supervisor of the girls. She asks me if I have gotten massages before, to which I reply,

“I’ve had non-therapeutic massages before.” Which is the lingo for , “I want a happy ending.”. She smiles before enlightening me on the packages.

lookiebeb

She says there’s the Sh 2000 package for the normal 45 minute massage, or the Sh 3500 for a massage plus oral gratification and then there’s SH 5000 for massage plus kukuta vitu. Wow. Apparently, there are also different types of massages such as the Asian shiatsu, deep tissue, swedish or the drill. I say I’ll go with the drill. She then informs me that a customer can also make an order for a girl to come to your place and that’ will cost you Sh 8000 going upwards depending on the things you want her to do and the amount of time spent.

Customers of the ‘happy ending’ get a kinky benefit too. They are allowed to choose whether they like their masseuse to be fully clothed, topless, wearing a g-string or completely nude while giving them the massage

I ask if I can start with the basic massage with the option of adding more money for ‘ a little something extra’ as time goes, and the ‘nameless’ supervisor agrees. I am directed to a private room in which I am told to undress, wrap a towel and lie on the bed while waiting for my designated masseuse to arrive.

The girl arrives and she’s hot AF. Just what I expected, creamy and boasting of curves like a magnificently sculpted statue. I stare into her warm dark eyes that have a constant sparkle of mischief. They have a certain kind of fire in them. A fire so strong that I am immediately lit. I am tempted to immediately add the ‘happy ending package’ but I wait. With mellow coos, she asks me to lie on my back and close my eyes. I dutifully oblige and let my mind drift upon the wave she’s creating. The sweet scent of flowers outside mingles with that of her perfume. And as she opens the oil bottle and begins spreading it on my back, my nose almost gets blown away. Everything else is magical

She’s clearly an expert but the way she does her job is good that I’m inclined to think the girls do this in order to get men to ask for the ‘extra services.’ They want you to cough out more money even if you didn’t want to.

I don’t even realize it when the 45 minutes are over. But I have to go. There’s a disappointed look on her face as I tell Jacky I won’t be staying any longer. On my way out, I see lots mzungus and pot-bellied men entering the seedy establishment. Some are still pulling into the driveway. They are definitely going to get some. Perhaps I’ll come back another day when the dry spell is real. I’m just not ready to pay for s3x right now.

Those are Nairobi’s massage parlors for you

Caroline Mutoko Is Not A Celebrity, Patricia Kihoro Posits

Actress and Homeboyz Radio presenter Patricia Kihoro has alluded that Kenya is way too far from having people with celebrity status.

This means that Patricia does not recognise any celebrity in Kenya, with reasons that she has well crafted.

Speaking exclusively to Ghafla Kenya, Patricia says that Kenyan celebrities are far away from getting to the level of the likes of Kim Kardashian and Beyonce.

Patricia says that Kenyans have no time for such things and that they have other important things to think about, more than celebrity status.

She goes ahead to give examples of Kenyan celebrities whom she believes should be celebrities but have not lowered themselves to that level because they are busy with other important things.

This is what she said about Caroline Mutoko and Nameless:

KOT’s Hilarious Reactions To Nairobi Aviaton’s Expose By NTV’s Dennis Okari

Acquiring a degree through unscrupulous means is not a new thing in this incredibly corrupt nation where parting with a bribe will get you where you need to go faster.

Getting your hands on a fake certificate and other fake Credentials it is as old as Kenyan universities and Nairobi Aviation College was just unlucky and got caught. I guess some folks are just unluckier than the rest
If Okari visited other institutions of higher learning best believe he would find shenanigans such as these going on.
Of course this expose has caught the country by storm and as sure as the sun rises every morning KOT are on it.

Trust KOT to find the silver lining on every cloud, here are the funniest reactions to the expose

After Being Accused Of Throwing The Poor Out Of Her Church, Kathy Kiuna Reveals She Fell In Love With a Man From Eastlands

Reverend Cathy Kiuna has strongly rejected claims she chased away poverty-stricken faithful from her Jubilee Christian Church (JCC).

Kathy Kiuna is equally shocked that someone would use her name to gain mileage with their own selfish interest.

“It’s equally foolish when you judge somebody based on someone’s opinion. You must be very wise as a wise person and find if it is true or could it be. Don’t judge, don’t start accusation and abuse. It is shallow, it’s cheap. You need to stop.” Kiuna explained.

Kathy revealed she loves the poor wholeheartedly explaining her own husband, Allan Kiuna comes from Eastlands.

“My husband comes from Eastlands, my husband was brought up in one little room. That is where my husband comes from. He has grown up there all his life” Cathy explains.

She further disclosed she wasn’t even in the country when the cooked story started doing rounds on the internet.

Was Dennis Okari’s ‘Certificates Of Doom’ Expose Malicious? Here Is The Revelation

Finally, NTV’s much publicized expose, Certificates of Doom’ aired last night as prepared and narrated by its investigative journalist and former BBC reporter Dennis Okari.

This was the first investigative piece Okari came up with since his return from the short stint he had in BBC.

Okari revealed how Kenyans go to extents of getting certificates from the Nairobi Aviation College without attending any class. They just part with Kshs.3000 to land a certificate.

However, the expose has faced serious opposition and criticism from different quarters, with many feeling that it is malicious and ill-motivated to taint the name of Nairobi Aviation College.

One particular Kenyan to raise the issue first was blogger Robert Alai who even went ahead to pen a piece in his blog, narrating how Okari conspired with some powerful politician who owns an institution of learning to bring down Nairobi Aviation.

It is alleged that Okari’s expose was supposed to run on KTN but was rejected by John Allan Namu afterv realising that NAC was not given time to express themselves.

This is how the story landed at NTV.

What many are disturbed with is the fact that Okari’s expose looked very shoddy and thinly researched on, with only a single institution being the subject in the expose.

Kenyans are wondering why he did not sample a number of institution but picked on Nairobi Aviation alone.

Among the alumni of Nairobi Aviation are a number of journalists including NTV’s Enock Sikolia, KBC’s John Kago and Radio Maisha’s Beatrice Maganga.

Ghafla Kenya made efforts to reach out to Dennis Okari for comment over these fresh allegations but our frantic calls went unanswered.

Is Something Brewing Up Between Kenya’s Jaguar And Uganda’s Sensational Duo?

Jaguar is one of the most celebrated Kenyan artists today and has been on the run to make his music career expand even more.

He landed in Nigeria and remixed his One Centimetre hit with Iyanya, though this led to a deterioration in their relationship as the two traded insults against each other.

That aside, the philanthropic singer is now moving closer home and has landed in Kampala, Museveni’s territory, to probably see if he will be able to do something for his legion.

Jaguar posted a photo of himself with Uganda’s Radio and Weasel, creating speculation that the trio are in for something.

Jaguar

“…with Radio n Weasel frm Uganda, nuff respect brothers.”

Ghafla Kenya made efforts to reach out to Jaguar for an more information but the singer’s phone was switched off.

Well, we can only wait to see if indeed the trio are having something for us.

You Will Not Believe How Old Likobee Is

Remember the pint-sized comedian Likobee who had us in fits of laughter back in the day?

Well most of you remember him .For our younger readers Likobee was the biggest thing back in the 90’s way before Mwala made his debut on to our screens. He was part of the top billed cast in Vitimbi that entertained a large number of people in our generation when KBC was the only station for a large part of our childhood.

In what this actor lacked in height, he made up in talent and that is why to this day he remains unforgotten. Mwanaisha Chidzuga recently caught up with Likobee in KTN’s series Wako Wapi? A series meant to help us reconnect with celebs who ruled the screens and the scene back in the day. During the interview Likobee revealed that he was over 50, 51 to be precise!

Did Nazizi Use Unorthodox Means To Lose Weight? Here Is The Truth

Hip hop first lady, Nazizi has come out strong to deny claims by critics she used ‘shortcut’ to gain the new amazing look she spots.

After she came out spotting a new look that got everyone utterly mesmerized, the queen of Kenyan hip hop reveals why and how she lost weight.

When she got preeclampsia (high blood pressure during pregnancy) due to being overweight, Nazizi know from the word go she had to do something about her enormous mass.

She didn’t work on her weight though until three years later after she got her son. By then, she was 120kg. Coming from a family where her dad is hypertensive and mom diabetic, Nazizi had to lose weight to avoid visiting the hospital every now and then due to lifestyle diseases that runs in her lineage.

If you thought Nazizi drunk some concoction that made her gain that nice body, she didn’t. Nazizi simply started by cutting on junk food before she hit the gym.

“My goal was to do it naturally and with the lowest budget possible.” Nazizi explained. She revealed people didn’t believe it was her when they saw her new look thus starting rumors she used unorthodox means to lose weight.

As if to prove to all the doubting Thomas she did it naturally, Nazizi surfaced on screen at KTN to shed light on her journey to losing 32kg.
