As we all know by now, Janet Mbugua is taken. Taken for good. And this is something team mafisi will not want to hear in many many years to come. But we must accept and move on as we have always done when we cannot change some things.

The sassy TV siren wedded in a colourful ceremony in Chaka Ranch, Nyeri, over the weekend and everyone has been fascinated about the same except a few haters who see negatives only in most things.

We ignore the trolls and embark on discovering what Janet and her husband Eddie Ndichu did the day after their glamorous wedding that was an invite only thing and which some said you had to part with 20k to attend.

Well, Janet and Eddie remained behind in the Chaka Ranch after everyone had left. They had to have their own sweet, quiet moments to test life after telling the world they were taken.

Janet’s wedding went down last sato…At Chaka Ranch, Nyeri County. Man, it was one hell of a glamorous wedding, attended by the crème de la crème of the Kenya Media Industry.

For Janet’s sizzling day of Love, quite a number of notable media names were spotted at the expansive Chaka Ranch(Everybody goes to Chaka Ranch nowadays.); Eating ,laughing, dancing, singing and cheering on their super beautiful colleague who was walking down the aisle.

It is finally time to call it a day for Edith Kimani at KTN. After 6 years at the station where she landed the job after Kenyans voted her as the best contestant in the Presenter show season 1, the sexy siren has hang her boots on the station and bid it bye.

Edith Kimani emerged the top best talented contestant. Even though she faced stiff competition from that man who lost the job because he refused to shave his dreadlocks, Edith has gone ahead to prove many doubters wrong with effective presentations coupled with sternness that only comes from very few an individual.

But it seems her days at KTN are over as she moves to face a new challenge elsewhere. Edith is believed to join Germany-based media house Deustche Welle.

Edith’s departure comes at a time when KTN has acquired yet another exciting talent in Michelle Ngele. The sharp looking Ngele toppled her fellow contestants in the just concluded Presenter Show season 2 after Kenyans voted her the best.

Her way to the KTN seat is very synonymous to that of Edith Kimani, and many have believed that she is in line to take over from Edith Kimani. The question many are still asking is, will she fit into Edith’s shoes? Only time will tell.

 

Citizen TV’s Janet Mbugua hit headlines over the weekend when she was walked down the aisle by her long term fiancée Eddie Ndichu in a wedding full of showiness and glam. The wedding has since been talked widely by almost everyone who knows Janet as one of the most established TV personalities.

It was an invite only wedding but everyone got a chance to see what was going down at Chaka Ranch in Nyeri, a cool and serene place that is quickly gaining prominence in Kenya and beyond.

While there is a section of cold Kenyans trolling Janet over how she appeared in her big day, many have congratulated the TV siren.

Well, it seems Janet has just shown the way for many more TV personalities as Ghafla has exclusively learnt. A well-placed source has revealed to Ghafla that while some have their dates confirmed, others are yet to make it clear when they will tie the knot. But one thing is sure: they are marrying this year.

And now here are some of the TV personalities expected to tie the knot in the course of this year:

Trevor Ombicha – NTV

He used to work as a news presenter with Nation FM before the NMG management brought him in to join the likes of Gladys Gachanja and the now gone Yvonne Maingey as NTV’s new recruits to add flesh to the already perfect team of news presenters.

And now it is sure that Trevor’s time is here as the TV personality is set to walk his fiancée down the aisle later this year. It is, however, not clear when the exact date of the wedding is but Trevor will wed this year. Now you know.

Betty Kyallo – KTN

Arguably one of the most beautiful TV sirens in the 254, Betty Kyallo is mother to Dennis Okari’s daughter. Who doesn’t know Dennis Okari? Well if you don’t , do not worry. Dennis Okari is the investigative journalist who works for NTV.

And because Betty has Denno’s kid many have believed that the two are married. I also thought so until Betty clarified that she has no ring on her finger. Well, this is bound to happen finally as the two are set to move in together as husband and wife later this year.

We were not able to know the exact date of their wedding as the two are yet to reveal but it is believed they will be marrying this year. Only time will tell. And now that we have mentioned Betty, you should guess who is next.

Dennis Okari – NTV

The man who took the mantle of investigative journalism at NTV is the father to daughter to KTN’s Betty Kyalo. The two have been a thing but they are yet to solemnize their marriage and become husband and wife.

So Betty was right when she told us she has no marriage ring from Dennis Okari and so we should stop telling the world she is married.

It is finally bound to happen as our source has exclusively revealed to us. Seems NTV is in for a flurry of weddings this year. Wait, we are not done yet.

Dan Mwangi – NTV

Who is that asking who Dan Mwangi is? Do you mean you don’t watch business news? Well, he is the man who brings you business news on prime time news every evening.

He also brings NTV news at 1. Now Dan Mwangi is set to marry his girlfriend come September this year. This we can confirm unless the two lovebirds change the dates. All you need to do is watch this space because it is only here that you will get to know the exact date and venue.

Mercy Juma – NTV

If you are keen with news, every evening, you definitely know who Mercy Juma is. The Moi University schooled reporter is a common voice on prime time news.

Well, Mercy is set to be walked down the aisle by her fiancée come June. Ooh! We are already in June people! So the wedding is around the corner. Brace yourselves. But you have to wait to hear what Mercy and fiancée have to say about it.

Over the weekend, Citizen TV’s Janet Mbugua walked down the aisle in a colorful ceremony that was held at Chaka Ranch, Nyeri County. The wedding didn’t go down history books without mean-spirited Kenyans smearing poop on it.

Janet Mbugua finally got hitched over the weekend! The wedding was the talk of the nation making headlines in all news outlets.

Kenyans from all walks of life last Saturday turned their attention to Chaka Ranch to witness Citizen TV’s eye candy tying the knot with her sweetheart, Eddie Ndichu.

Congratulatory messages spammed the social media wishing Janet and Eddy a happy marriage. Some messages however raised eyebrows.

Some crop of Kenyans decided to unleash a salvo of itchy insults directed at Janet Mbugua, her breasts in particular was their target.

Knuckleheads dissed Janet’s tities saying they had ‘sagged’ even before she saw the fruits of her womb. The critics launched their attack when photos of Janet’s wedding started circulating online.

After numerous rumors popped up indicating Richard Chacha was being fired, the former NTV Political Affairs editor has finally called it a day at the leading media house.

Even before he left NMG, sources had indicated that Richard Chacha was being laid off for being crippled and unproductive, which turned out to be mere grapevine.

Chacha’s former colleague at NTV, Smriti Vidyarthi, took to the social media to break the news about his departure from NMG.

The news anchor got emotional with the fact that her former co-worker was leaving NTV family.

“It was our colleague, Richard Chacha’s last day at NMG today. Chacha, we love you and you truly are one in a million. A wonderful colleague, a great friend and a real fighter and survivor. God Bless you. All the best. Wrote Smriti.

Bruce Jenner is currently trending second on twitter, Kenyans can’t stop talking about her/him after his/her The Vanity Fair magazine published her/his photo on their front cover.

“Call Me Caitlyn” is the headlines that took the world aback. The 65-year-old American Olympic gold medalist in decathlon has successfully completed transition to being a woman.

Bruce now goes by the name Caitlyn Jenner, she even started a twitter account by the same name. The account had over 1.1 million followers within hours!

Bruce or better Caitlyn Jenner came to international attention when while identifying as a man, he won the gold medal in decathlon at the 1976 Summer Olympics held in Montreal.

The revered American athlete carried the Olympic flame in West Hollywood, California in April 1996 in preparation for the year’s Olympic Games that was held in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.

On Monday, Jenner became a sensation on social media when Vanity Fair magazine published her photo as a woman.
