A popular TV girl has come out to openly admit that she cheated on her former boyfriend. This is veery serious now.

Speaking exclusively to Ghafla Kenya, Ebru TV’s Kamene Goro, one of the most curvaceous ladies on our screens, admitted that she cheated on her former boyfriend before they could eventually break up.

Kamene, however, says she had a reason for this. She told Ghafla! Kenya that it was the former boyfriend who pushed her into it. She said that she found out that he was not a trustworthy man and so she decided to give him a dose of his own pills.

Kamene, however, admits that it is not good for people in a relationship to cheat on each other. She advises that a relationship should be built on trust and love.

The National Youth Service (NYS) is once again in the limelight. For the last couple of weeks NYS has been the centre of political wrangles in the country after it emerged that some individuals were using this avenue to embezzle public funds.

NYS has also landed Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria in trouble after he was allegedly captured inciting his constituents to slash anyone opposed to it.

Forget all this though. NYS is once again making headlines after it was alleged that the NYS youth assaulted a KTN cameraman on 19^th July 2015.

The allegations have been made by Standard Group writer Wahome Thuku. Through his social media account, Wahome has shared a P3 form obtained by Stanley Mbichu Maina, the cameraman who was allegedly assaulted on Sunday evening by the NYS Youth when he tried to cover an incident where they were allegedly beating up and chasing away hawkers from the capital.

According to Wahome, Maina was badly assaulted and later reported the matter to Central Police station where he was asked to seek medical attention first before anything is done.

The writer goes on to wonder what the motive behind NYS is.

MY colleague, a KTN cameraman was allegedly assaulted by National Youth Service (NYS) men on Sunday evening when he took pictures as they were evicting some hawkers in the streets. He reported to Central Police Station (see P3 form) and is now required to take some medical documents. I have personally seen the clip of the NYS men overturning cartons of apple fruits belonging to hawkers and then confronting him. Its deplorable. I know we have defended the NYS against claims that its being groomed into a militant wing ahead of 2017. We have also defended its new image and public service record. I wonder if we spoke too early. Yes, even the nice family dog, can attack children in the homestead. Years back there was Youth for Kanu that was law by itself. Today we have atrocious County Govt askaris that have lost every element of respect among Kenyans. I’m sure Madam CS Anne Waiguru is not be molding NYS into such an outfit. But if she is, it will be the very organ that will see the beginning of her end.

Staunch followers of the self-proclaimed God, Jehovah Wanyonyi, are in confusion and disbelieve after their God and leader went missing without a trace.

This is not the first time Jehovah Wanyonyi is making headlines. He first came into the limelight when he proclaimed that he has powers like God and he is a god in his own way who leads a flock of more than 1000 people.

Jehovah made his followers believe he has powers to do anything they want and this made them believe he is a god and so they worshipped him earnestly.

It is also rumoured that he has 73 wives.

According to Eliab Masinde, a spokesman of the Jehovah Wanyonyi followers, his children took him to hospital after a long illness but they are yet to know his whereabouts after receiving condolence messages that Jehovah Wanyonyi is dead, reports Citizen TV.

His children have, however, not said anything about the self-proclaimed God, and in a video clip shown on TV stations last night one of his wives could be seen angrily chasing away curious residents of Chemororok village in Uasin Gishu county who had flocked the homestead to condole the family, telling them that God will strike them for wishing Jehovah Wanyonyi an unwarranted death.

It is also reported that one of the village elders alleged that Jehovah’s children had approached the area chief for a burial permit for Jehovah to the consternation of the chief as they had not informed him of his death.

Obama’s visit is generating a fuss in Kenya. While Kidero is busy giving Nairobi a facelift, businessmen /women rushing to cash in from the rare feeding frenzy, some crop of Kenyans are also busy fooling their compatriots.

Obama will not be in Kenya until the remaining 3 days elapses. Even with this knowledge someone managed to make a monkey out of a section of Nairobians.

Someone hired top of the class Range Rover and other flashy rides, dressed a few bodyguards in dark suits, painted a clone and took him to the streets of Nairobi.

The sight of a dark Range Rover flying an American and a Kenyan flag with men in black in close guard surely attracts curious onlookers.

The crowd multiplied when Obama look alike appeared through the roof to greet passersby who thought they were actually seeing the real American President.

Never in my life did I think another Daily Nation writer could cause such uproar like Njoki Chege usually does.

It all started with a subliminal jibe by Avril at the anonymous DN reporter, but it has evolved into a full blown out war between DN and Kenyan artistes.

With many artistes feeling like Sauti Sol was attacked unjustly by a writer who severely lacked in patriotism. But unlike their fellow artistes, Sauti Sol know it’s better not to burn bridges and decided to be very civil about the whole situation. Accepting that we all have our opinions and what was seen as a cruel stab at them by other artistes is like water off their back.

Popular TV channels will be forced to receive live feed from two media houses who have been rubber-stamped as the official broadcaster of the Obama visit.

Thought all TV stations will be allowed to shadow Obama wherever he goes? Only two media houses have been given the green light to broadcast the visit by the US leader.

On Friday, all eyes will be at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) as the leader of free world touches down in Kenya.

While it’s common knowledge that all news outlets will be in a hurry to ride on Obama’s name, only two broadcasters will have the privileged to get a comprehensive coverage of Obama.

MultiChoice and its partner, Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC), are the host broadcasters during the visit.

The two media houses will be feeding their information-thirsty audiences through various channels under their umbrella.

For MultiChoice, Gotv will be covering Obama’s visit on channel 99 while for Kenya Broadcasting Corporation, KBC and Heritage TV will quench viewers thirst.

Kenyan artistes have over time and time again complained and wailed that Kenyans do not support local music and shows. It’s been done over and over again, it sounds like a broken record.

Well, truth is, a lot of Kenyan music and productions are below par and the only way they should be used is in a torture chamber.

And as much as we would like to support the local arts, we are not doing you any favors by supporting horrible music and wack productions. Truth be told.

Plus you never hear people like John Demathew, Sauti Sol or Wahu complain of no support because their music is kind to the ear. You cannot produce a half-baked song and still expect rounds of applause. And when we try and offer constructive criticism, most of you artistes label us as ‘haters’. Plus i think that Kenyans should support your music because they like it, but not out of obligation due to patriotism.

Obama’s Kenyan visit itinerary indicates he will only be visiting one university for a session with students and the institution’s management. Even so, other varsities are still inviting him to their institutions.

First there was Babu Owino who came out with a letter that swept the whole country by its feet. UoN students had threatened to do despicable things if Obama wasn’t visiting their school.

Of course Obama did not only ignore Babu and his threats but he also chose to visit UoN’s backyard neighbor, Kenyatta University.

Mount Kenya University (MKU) student leader, Simon Kimani, has also written a letter to the US President.

But instead of threatening Obama, Simon decided to entice the leader of free world. The student leader says Mr. Obama will enjoys MKU’s free Wi-Fi, socket charging , scholarship for Malia and Shasha, an office with helipad among other goodies.

What attracted many people’s attention was MKU’s fourth offer, to prosecute the pedophile lawyer who offered Obama dowry to marry his 17-year-old daughter.

The MKU student leader says the varsity is ready to offer Potus their lawyers from Parkland campus to represent his daughter in a lawsuit against the said lawyer.

One thing though, Mr. Kimani misspelt Obama’s name just like his SONU counterpart, Babu Owino. The authenticity of the letter has also not been established.

Still riding on the Obama stories, fresh and fascinating details have emerged showing how the US President spent his days in Kariokor area, Nairobi in mid 1980s when he visited Keny as a young man.

POTUS is no stranger in Kenya and I believe if his memories serve him well, he remembers vividly his days at the now ageing area of the city when he stayed with his relatives every time he visited after breaking for holiday from Harvard University.

The other day NTV unearthed fresh details revealing the place and house the now most powerful man on earth lived in when he stayed in Kenya, and the friends he moved around with n 1987.

That was 28 years ago!

Battle lines were drawn long ago when celebrated TV personalities Jeff Koinange and Larry Madowo promised to pull a Manny Pacquiao vs Floyd Mayweather over who will interview the most powerful man when he lands in Kenya.

Our wait has been long but it is worth it after all. The day is finally around the corner after months of anxiety and I believe Larry and Jeff are crossing their fingers as they wait to learn who, if any, will be lucky to sit with leader of the free world for an exclusive interview.

But I digress. I want to be a bit pessimistic and argue that none of the two will have a chance to interview Obama. And I have my reason for this.

You see, Obama is not the same ordinary boy who used to visit Kenya and roam freely in the streets several decades ago. The last time he was here it was in 2006 but again he was a senator of Illinois and landing an interview with him was a bit hard.

I don’t think Obama is going to entertain any interview with an individual considering that his itinerary in Kenya is very tight and restricted by time.

This means that the US President has no time for exclusive interviews with certain media houses. In fact it is very rare for Obama to sit down with a journalist for an exclusive interview. In most cases, journalists gather in a boardroom, Obama comes to the podium and answers questions they ask. This is what happens and I believe it is what will happen again.

Unless the whole protocol is changed, this means that Larry and Jeff, who betted several months ago over who will be selected to interview Obama, will definitely have no chance to do so. All they can do is raise their hands, get a chance and ask Obama a few questions.

I don’t want to sound like they are not qualified to interview Obama. Ney! In fact if there was a chance that a Kenyan journalist interviews Obama, one of the two should be picked.

Unless everything really changes this is the reason why Madowo and Koinange will find it an uphill task to land Obama for an interview.

President Barack Obama will not visit the University of Nairobi as demanded by its students through a letter drafted by their leader a week ago. This is according to an itinerary that we are in possession of.

The leader of the free world will, instead, visit Kenyatta University as part of his final tour in Kenya before he leaves for Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, on Sunday afternoon.

The University of Nairobi had made headlines when its student leader, Babu Owino, drafted a very controversial letter addressing the US President, giving reasons why he should visit the UoN upon his arrival in the country.

In the letter, Babu Owino said that a number of University of Nairobi students had threatened to commit suicide if Obama does not visit the UoN and address them.

He also said that close to 31 female students had also threatened to urinate publicly on a tree the most powerful man planted in the UoN compound when he visited Kenya as a Senator of Illinois in 2006.

President Uhuru Kenyatta rubbished aside Babu’s letter and instead invited him to State House.

News of Obama’s visit to Kenyatta University has been received well by the institution’s students. Those we talked to said that it will be a gesture that Kenyatta University is finally getting the recognition it deserves.

Edwin Bosire, a fourth year education student at the university said, “This is a great honor for KU to be the first Kenyan University to host a sitting American head of state. It will leave an historic impression and it means a lot to all of us, the students and staff.”

Sonko’s dad is still celebrating his son’s great accomplishment. Mr. Gideon Kioko was spotted dancing to a sweet mellowed Kamba music.

Last weekend, Nairobi Senator, Mike Sonko, graduated from Kenya Methodist University with a degree in Business Administration. If you thought Sonko was the happiest following his achievement, wait till you see what his father did.

Sonko is not a very good dancer per se, otherwise we would have already seen him moonwalking by now. His father though, he has some real skill.

Mr. Kioko celebrated his son’s graduation in style. While most people would think Sonko would the happiest man following his graduation, it was his dad who appeared to have laughed loudest.

The senior Kioko was seen vigorously shaking a leg in the house. Seems Sonko’s graduation party was a bang!

Some things just happen to teach us one or two things. They don’t just happen. They happen for a reason. And as much as we sympathize with those affected by the unfortunate happenings, we are supposed to learn some few necessary lessons.

A British woman is regretting a move she made to have a booty job bum lift operation, something that was aimed at increasing the size of her bum, only for the doctor responsible to bungle the whole procedure, leaving her butt looking like it was mauled by a shark.

According to Daily Mail,  Heidi Faulkner, 36, from Hertfordshire, decided to have the procedure after slimming down from 16st to 8st over three years with the help of a gastric band.

“The fluctuation in my weight left me with loose skin on my stomach and legs and wrinkly folds and sagging skin around my hips and bum. I was a 30-something with the body of an 80-something old woman. My son used to say, Mum, it looks like your bum has melted. My skin looked like candle wax dripping down the back of my legs. It had no shape, my buttocks were flat and exercise wasn’t making any difference,” Heidi told Daily Mail.

She then decided to fly out to Prague to have the operation. Unfortunately things did not work as planned. Here is how she now looks.

Back to Kenya, our girls are always fascinated by big butts because they believe they are points to put you on the same level as the likes of Vera Sidika.
