The Citizen TV anchor has decided to unite other expectant women in the entire country. And she is also offering them goodies.

Pregnant women have a reason to smile! Janet Mbugua is offering to make them famous besides giving them something worthwhile.

Janet has an immense following on social media. She wants to use her influence to give expectant mothers a fraction of publicity.

The screen siren requested women to picture themselves holding their baby-bumps and sent her the photos using the hashtag; ##BumpsAreBeautiful.

She received many photos which she reposted on her Instagram handle promising to gift some of the ladies that scored most likes.

She however didn’t reveal how much or what goodie she would be giving the expectant mothers. Guess she wants to surprise them!

I hear she pockets 800k a month, probably she will chop a considerable chunk of her handsome salary to gift the ladies!

A controversial Kenyan radio presenter found himself on the receiving end of an array of stones after part of the crowd he was addressing turned rogue.

Moses Kanyira of Kameme F.M had gone to Wamagana Township in Tetu constituency, Nyeri county to address a crowd on the subject of illegal brews and second-generation drinks.

Things were going well at Wamagana grounds until a crowd of angry youth started pelting him with stones. Before things escalated to a tragic level, his supporters rescued him and then he drove off.

It took the intervention of armed security officials and Deputy County Commissioner Herman Shambi to calm the crowd and the meeting had to be cancelled.

This is the second time Moses is making countrywide news after he was linked to yet another unfortunate incident where he was accused of using ethnic insults and slapping little children in Zimmerman

 Am an emirates airlines fan but after flying Ethiopian I think there might just be my fav African airline to date. And not surprised to find out that for the 2014-2015 fiscal year, the Bole International Airport-based carrier reported a net profit of 3.5 billion birr (US$168 million) on revenues of 46.5 billion birr (US$2.2 billion) after transporting 6.4 million passengers and 329,000 tons of cargo. These are impressive numbers and such profits are staggering when you look at other African airlines. Their airport is crappy tho but the onboard experience is not bad at all off course can’t be compared to Middle East airlines but they are truly trying their best. But still wondering why their doing so well than the rest is it because of their massive fleet of the Dreamliner? Is it the amazing air hostess? Their routes? Their prices? I wonder? Congrats on those staggering profits Ethiopian airlines great job.

The bill was drafted by Eldas MP Aden Keynan.

Despite the criticism the Parliamentary Powers and Privileges Bill has attracted, MP’s voted to conclude debate and propel the proposed law to the last stages of law making, reports Standard.

The bill seeks to introduce a crime of defamation of Parliament and criminalize the publishing of what the speaker and/or chairmen of committees would deem false or scandalous libel on Parliament.

The fine is 500K or a two-year jail term or both for journalists found guilty.

The celebrated Harambee Stars captain who plies his trade in South Coast England is on what could be termed as a go-slow as he doesn’t work with his employers, Southampton.

Wanyama has been heavily linked with a move to Tottenham to join his former coach Mouricio Pochettino who left to be in charge of the London-based club.

Pastor James Maina Ng’ang’a is literally a man under siege. He is having sleepless nights thanks to the latest happenings in his life.

Forget the infamous accident he allegedly caused which killed Mercy Njeri a month ago. Forget the two nights he ate beans in Gigiri Police cells. Forget the fact that his lead lawyer Cliff Ombeta withdrew for what he termed lack of direction.

Forget the fact that he had to part with 500K cash bail to find his freedom, temporarily though.

Pastor Ng’ang’a’s church accounts have been frozen after one trader went to court to seek back 2.3 million shillings he allegedly transferred to Pastor Ng’ang’a’s accounts in what he says is a case of being swindled.

Mr. Geoffrey Ng’ang’a had the High Court freeze the accounts after realizing Pastor Ng’ang’a swindled the money from him.

In his court papers, Ndung’u says he moved the money from his account to one of Neno Evangelism Church’s in April of 2012 after receiving prayers from Ng’ang’a for mental problems, reports Capital FM.

According to Ndung’u by the time he transferred the money, he had a mental problem and was on medication for a psychotic break and was therefore not in his right mind.

Efforts by his family and himself to get back the funds have hit a snag, forcing them to sue the controversial preacher.

Ng’ang’a, however, denied the accusations and said he is not aware of the funds being transferred to his accounts and if at all they did they were a gift and not through coercion or inducement.

The case is slated for mention on September 22.

While Apostle James Ng’ang’a of Neno Evangelism Center was trolled for massacring the Queen language, a rice farmer in Kisumu county has left many laughing.

Common knowledge has it that rural farmers are just a bunch of illiterate and semi-educated folks who would otherwise speak their native or Swahili when addressing the media.

A rice farmer in Nyando plain in Kisumu County demystified that misleading notion when he pulled a PLO Lumumba.

The man and other farmers were agitating against embezzlement of funds by office holders. They met KTN crew to express their frustrations in regard to the same.

Thought Luos farmers would speak swa? One farmer demonstrated his skewed eloquence of English language by throwing around words that only PLO could define.

Ian Mbugua has gained a reputation as the Simon Cowell of Kenya, the mean judge on TPF.

This is because of his atypical methods used to curve the TPF contestants into something timeless, more than a one hit wonder.

Some such as Hemedi who had an emotional meltdown that led to a cringe-worthy outburst in a TPF finale did not appreciate his methods, but those that did such as Ruth Matete have songs of praise for him.

Twitter goof by prominent persons seems to be the order of the day; President Uhuru has now done it twice while the other victim is Mzazi Willy Tuva.

Just the other day, the President slipped with the congratulatory message he sent Vivian Cheruiyot and Kenyans on twitter were fast to troll him.

But Vivian’s case was on President Uhuru’s personal twitter handle, @UKenyatta. This time round the mistake was made on the head of state’s official handle, @PresidentKE.

I understand the President’s official handle is managed by the Presidential Strategic Communication Unit (PSCU) who are very competent.

But the PSCU made a mistake and Kenyans were quick to point out their blunder. They were tweeting about Uhuru’s visit to Mombasa for the ASK show.

The mistake they did was to post a photo of a woman who looked like an ogre primary school teachers made us believe they live amongst us.

If this is the price men at the Coast have to pay for fornicating, then they better be VERY stingy with their third leg!

A strange incident in Kilifi County has injected cold down men’s spines, one of their own is suffering a 15-day erection after he ‘eat’ someone’s wife.

32-year-old John Kazungu may as well be going down Guinness Book of World Records for the longest erection ever maintained. See no reason to worry!

Tyranny of number’s, Mutahi Ngunyi, has made it known he harbors no ill feelings towards folks from the Lake Region. And just to prove his words, he plans to settle in Luo’s capital city when he retires.

Mutahi got into a brawl with Luos after he hurled itchy words that were deemed as hybrid ethnic slur against brothers and sisters from Nyanza.

The controversial Political Analyst however offered a whole-hearted apology to Luo people after LSK wrote to the NCIC to probe and charge him.

In a new twist of event, Mutahi now wants to settle in the Lakeside City of Kisumu, a hotbed of everything Luo.

In a conversation Mutahi had with the Nairobian, the analyst said he had nothing against Luos adding that Raila was his problem.

Mutahi seems to be keen to settle in Kisumu, he even said he is ready to face Luo Council of Elders with a goat to seek forgiveness.

“I want to spend my retirement years in Kisumu, having intellectual discourse with Luo professors, many, who have been my mentors. If I retired and went to Nyeri, I won’t have any intellectual conversations because everybody will be discussing land and cattle.”

But is Mutahi too naïve? I mean Kisumians worship Raila, how do you plan to settle in a city where the man you have a beef with is the king???

Throughout, Octopizzo, assuming that his fans were a bunch of dumb consumers with no ability whatsoever to ever dig out-or jump on-the truth, continued teasing his fans and leading them into believing that he had indeed, worked with August.

Stories of young people engaging in crime are rising at an alarming rate.

A few months ago some young men defected from infamous gang Gaza after a police commandant issued a shoot-to-kill order and the number of young men who came forward was disturbing. The about a month later a 15year old succumbed to injuries sustained after a mob rained on him for being a thief.

Now a pair of form three students has escaped death by a whisker after residents near Kasarani pelted them with stones for stealing.

According to a witness, the pair whop were in a group had master keys to a house within a building in the area and stole household good including electronics. They would have made away with the goods if a small boy who was playing outside had not alerted his mother who then screamed loudly. On hearing the noise, motorbike operators came to the building and the boys were caught and that is when the crowd beat them up.

One of the boy’s father who is a landlord in the area came and cried frantically on seeing his son in a battered state. Check out the boys next.

Controversial whistle blower, Robert Alai, sounded the alarm the moment he got wind of Uganda People’s Defense Force (UPDF) freely roaming Kenyan roads like newly promoted watchmen.

Apparently UPDF are in the country to provide security to visiting Uganda’s First Lady, Janet Kataaha Museveni, who is in Kenya for the hyped Turkana cultural festival.

The sight of Uganda’s forces in Kenya generated mixed reactions with many wondering how a foreign army can cross the border to offer security to their President’s wife; a task usually done by host nation.

“Are we even independent? How is UPDF providing security inside Kenya in peacetime?” Wrote disturbed Alai.

Janet’s convoy to Turkana comprised of armored South African-made Marauders and Landcruisers filled with strange looking soldiers.

What if I wanted a little attention at my front yard and I didn’t have in my possession, the state-of-the-art audio equipment worthy of your attention? Local hotels are also invited to submit quotations detailing the size of the rooms, width, length and hardiness of their beds and possible discounts that could be given to this end. Together, we can promote local tourism.

Kingwa Kamencu has been a presidential hopeful in past erections  but has not quite clinched the win.  In the meantime, if you are willing and able, please go ahead and make her day.

But Ann Mbaru is beefing over some article Ghetto Radio wrote about her and she has threatened to sue. Her first complain being that the station’s website using a porn star as the cover story from the article

Royal Media Services (RMS) is like the Real Madrid of media industry. The revered media house has the best journalists in the industry courtesy of the money it splashed them with.

Nearly all the top news anchors at Citizen TV and RMS in general started their careers somewhere else before they blossomed at RMS.

The leading media house has once again made a move on a top journalist who used to work at Nation Media Group (NMG). And they netted him.

RMS has poached Robin Njogu who was the head of radio at NMG. He was managing both Nation FM and QFM.

Bussiness Today reports that Robin Njogu was lured into RMG’s pouch by a handsome pay he couldn’t dare resist.

It’s not immediately confirmed how much they offered him but report says he was given a bigger role on top of the salary.

Njogu will now manage 14 radio stations that include Kenya’s most popular radio station, Citizen Radio and other vernacular RMS stations.
