Back When DW’s Edith Kimani Was A Model (Photo)

Edith Kimani was introduced to the Kenyan Public during the first edition of KTN’s “The Presenter” .

She won the edition and soon joined KTN for 6 years before joining BBC .But before she made it; Edith Kimani was a small-time model.

And a model in one of the most popular ads we have had in the country, the ‘tumechill’ advert that was common back in 2003-2004 and commonly displayed in the ‘Insyder’

And she has really changed…for the better

#TBT oh my Africa! That one time circa 2003 when I was in an abstinence campaign. The money for countering the HIV pandemic in Africa was being pumped freely- former president Bush had just founded the President’s Emergency Plan for Aids Relief (PEPFAR) – and with it came 5 billion dollars and a caveat: 20% of the money had to go to abstinence focused programs. So there I was, promising abstinence on TV and in the papers (

Top Ten Most Daring Dressers In Kenya! Meet The Kenyan Fashion Dare-devils.

Kenyans are a very conservative lot when it comes to matters relating to fashion and dressing. They are quick to strip women who they deem as dressed inappropriately but never act on men who sag their pants?

I have seen women who have lived with the  fear of dressing in a certain way which does not conform with what the society considers as appropriate. It is important to note that the learned among us never really care about who wore skimpy what, It is the “Lowlifes” down town that have taken up the role of righting fashion ills.

You see, intelligent people don’t care about skirts and slits, tops and cleavages because they know that there are far greater things  in life, like paying tax and going out for dates.

But while we might want to say that Kenyans are totally and wholly conservative in matters relating  to “Sartorial elegance” we cannot forget the likes of Lupita Nyongo, who keep raising the fashion bar high up there at the world stage.

Here below, is a slideshow of Kenya’s most exciting dressers. The dare-devils!

But time has since elapsed to make gym the place where everybody wants to be. Whether it’s for sheer fun or to work out, it’s cool to be at the gym.

Nearly all celebs in the country have been spotted working out. It appears three popular news anchors share a gym.

It was Willis who appeared to have done the most difficult exercise since he was sweating like a camel walking in midday sun in Sahara desert.

Journalists Get A Stray Dog Beating At Pastor Ng’ang’a’s Home In Karen

Forget the arrest and the appearance in court of the most controversial man of the cloth today, Pastor James Ng’ang’a of Neno Evangelism Church.

Early today, journalists drawn from different media houses in the country were attacked by guards manning pastor Ng’ang’a’s house in Karen when they arrived to cover the story of thugs who broke into his house and stole property worth thousands of shillings.

It is reported that a KTN cameraman was slashed by one of the guards who had a machete despite the journalists having press cards showing who they were.

The gunmen are said to have broken into the preacher’s house at around 3 am, shot twice in the air and stole property worth 500k.

His wife, mother and children were in the house but were not injured in the incident.

Pastro Ng’ang’a who spend a second night in Gigiri Police Station was released on a 1M bond and a surety of the same early today.

Gladys Awaits Fate: The Blood Clot In Her Brain, #SomeoneSaveGladys

When pain and suffering cannot describe the pain she is going through.

Despite being an adult, she now depends on her mother to provide, care, feed and clean her.
Meet 26 year old Gladys Chepleting, who for one year now, cannot in the least eat solid food, but rather depends on her mother Leah Leitabir Kapericho to feed her using tea, milk, porridge and water, through a Nasal Gastric Tube (NGT). This is a pipe inserted into her nostrils to ensure Chepleting has something in her stomach to keep her going.

As the sun rises early in the morning and sets in the evening, mother Leah wakes up as early as 5 am to prepare tea for her daughter and immediately embark on cleaning her soiled clothes and body.

At 10.00 am when porridge is ready, Chepleting with the assistance of her mother is brought out of their ramshackle house to at least get fresh air on a cool sunny day. At this time she is given porridge then later at noon, Chepleting is fed on milk. At 4.00 pm, tea is prepared and after feeding, she is taken back to the house as darkness approaches. Later in the night, Leah gives her daughter milk as dinner.

gladys.JPG

This has been ongoing for the last one year, and according to Leah (65), with time she will not be able to fend to her sickly daughter, given the attention Chepleting requires.

According to her mother, Chepleting is no longer able to walk, feed and answer to the call of nature.

What began as an on and off headache eight years ago gradually turned Chepleting into becoming epileptic, thus dropping out of school in standard six.

gladys1.jpg

As the situation became more complicated, the family sort treatment and were referred to Eldoret’s Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital (MTRH) on April 4, 2014, where a radiology investigations was done. Results from a CT scan of the head established that Chepleting had a blood clot on the left side of the brain.

According to the family, 3,000,000 shillings is now required by MTRH to carry out a surgery to remove the clot. This for them is a pipe dream as the family is now left with only 3.5 acres of land.

This is where they plant maize and beans to sustain their living.

Though Chepleting was discharged two days later, her health has continued to deteriorate day in, day out. This has become a challenge to her mother, and her sixth-born son Peter Rutto who is now a second year student undertaking undergraduate studies at Moi University.

Rutto’s nine other siblings were not able to go to school and merely eke a living, a situation that has complicated the family’s desire to ensure Chepleting gets health care.

gladys2.JPG

Complicating matters is the fact that the family of Kapkerich lost their only breadwinner Kipruto Leitabir , their father, who was hit by a car during the 2013 general elections campaigns. He succumbed to the injuries.

Chepleting is a mother of three, an eight year old boy, and two girls aged six and one and a half, and according to records from MTRH, Chepleting has a history of being an epileptic patient for eight years now. She was referred to MTRH from Nandi Hills Sub County Hospital.

Coupled with the long distance from their humble home in Taptengelei village in the rural interior of Tindiret Constituency and lack of a means of transport, Chepleting’s requires close medical checkup, a fact that the family cannot sustain. Donkeys are the only source of transport to the nearest shopping centre, Taptengelei.

The GNT is supposed to be changed on a monthly basis, and travelling to Eldoret to get services at MTRCH which is 200kms away is not only costly, but for a family that struggles to eat a meal per day, priorities further complicate their situation. The nearest health Centre is in Maraba which is 60kms away, with no qualified doctors to take care of Chepleting’s requirement. Mother Leah depends on a grinder to crash maize into flour, an exercise that lasts two hours to get finer flour for the family to have a meal.

gladys3.jpg

Chepleting’s brother Rutto has now had to stop his studies at Moi, prompted by the fact that her ageing mother is already overburdened to take care of herself, her daughter and her grandchildren.

Rutto says though he has volunteered at the University’s library for four years now, nothing fruitful has been forthcoming. He says he expected the institution to absorb him and give him an employment to enable him complete his studies and at least provide for their family.

Rutto and the family have now called for a special medical appeal to raise the three million needed for her treatment. Many thanks to NAKUMATT Holdings for chipping in on this funds drive. The Pay Bill number is 516606 and pay bill account is 0715500094. Bank Account is 0300161119373 EQUITY BANK, ELDORET BRANCH. Please lets come together and help this family.

For now, the family remains in limbo, as they watch one of their own suffer and awaiting fate.

It’s A No No… Fans Boo Sauti Sol

The quartet is the darling of many but that doesn’t mean they are immune to criticism. Sauti Sol has been given thumbs down!

The last time Sauti Sol elicited negative reactions from Kenyan was when they released the steamy video ‘Nishike’.

The video got banned and they dropped a few fans but then again they redeemed themselves with ‘Sura Yako’ which won them EMA awards and gave them once in a lifetime opportunity to rub shoulders with the world’s most powerful man.

Kenyans have once again shown their discontentment with the singing quartet for lack of creativity with their new baby, ‘Shake Yo Bam Bam’.

Check out some of the positive criticism raised in regard to Sauti Sol’s new song:

Denyquenutty: Am sorry….This aint a jam I was expecting from u guys.It lacked originality and it had too much clutter in beats. I want something I would swing too or pop too……But hey as a NTV Uganda listener,u just hit me below the belt while I expected a hit!!!!U are my soulfood en i want sth I haven’t heard @sautisol

krissurl: Song reminds me of another song “if u want me to stay, i’ll never leave” those are the lyrics. Won’t hate though.. It’s a good effort

Oirere: Not a good song. Honest opinion. Horrible, borrowed beats, borrowed title. #sautisol is about originallity. Raundi hii mmeuma nje.

Cammy nafula:@sautisol, hope you will get a chance to read this. Am a Kenyan a big fan from uk. U guys are awesome, love your work though this bam bam song seems to a be a remix of alot of other songs. Anyway am no artist so cant judge you on that but I believe you guys can do much much better and more creative work than this. Anyway main reason am writing this, Sautisol fire your publicist or if you don’t have one hire one. You guys do a wonderful job buy its just not publicized enough that’s why you guys nor getting awards, if you guys should really restrategize on that end. Otherwise big up

Bcalvenes: @sautisol i am a big fan ever since you started music. I have enjoyed all your songs even before you guys became this big. However, as a strong fan, its hard for me to keep quiet when i feel something isn’t just right and that’s why i an forced to respond to this. I may bot understand music that deep but i do know that this was a substandard for the caliber of music you guys are known for. So you may try to shove this deep down on us but honestly, this is just not palatable. The originality in the song is completely down, creativity off the roof though i will give it for the video quality. You guys may argue out your intent on this production but the truth of the matter is that hii enyewe “sura yenu” ya music got lost, according to me. Not all is lost though. It is the breaking of the day for you guys. Go back to the drawing board and bring back the music that you are known for. We want POTUS to dance again. Let’s get to work boys.

Another twelve lucky Kenyans will walk away with Ksh 100,000/= each in the weekly draws with others winning airtime and merchandise during the countrywide in-bar activations.

“As a result of the enormous success of the Guinness Get Booked 1 promotion last year, we’re back, bigger and better and looking forward to rewarding our loyal consumers for choosing Guinness. All you have to do is to be spotted enjoying your favorite Guinness brand for a chance to get booked,” said John Williams, Head of Marketing EABL.

Loyal Guinness consumers will be rewarded through various in-bar activations that will be held in over 5,000 bars across the country as well as ‘under the crown’ mechanism.

This will qualify them for a weekly draw; offering with chances to win Kshs 5,000, 10,000, 20,000, 100,000. A monthly draw will see a lucky winner and a guest of their choice given the chance to travel to the UK and watch select English Premier League games live.

“Through a soccer-centric approach, consumers will be awarded a yellow card, and stand a chance to gain instant prizes and a straight red card that will see them walk away with Kshs 5,000; Kshs 10,000; Kshs 20,000 and also entered in to the monthly draw, and thus stand a chance to watch English Premier League Games live. We have scaled up the promotion, an effort that we hope will allow us to reach more consumers across the country- ultimately offering more opportunities to play and win,” John Williams concluded.

Pastor Ng’ang’a Released On A 1M Bond

Pastor James Ng’ang’a Maina has been released on a cash bail as he awaits to hear what the court says concerning his case where he is facing charges for the murder of Mercy Njeri a month ago through reckless driving.

The Neno Evangelism Church leader was released on a cash bail of Kshs.500,000 or a 1 million bond with a surety of the same amount.

According to Limuru Court Senior Principal Magistrate Timothy Thanchu, the prosecution failed to provide sufficient reasons why Ng’ang’a should be denied bail as he had cooperated with police during investigations into the Limuru accident that killed Mercy Njeri, reports Citizen TV.

The three other suspects who aided Pastor Ng’ang’a to cover up the accident were also released on a cash bail of 50k or a 100k bond with a surety of the same.

Pastor Ng’ang’a will be heading home after spending two nights in the Gigiri Police cells and will meet the reality that thugs stormed his Karen home early today and stole property of unknown value.

Body Of Garissa University Attack Victim To Be Exhumed

We are once again thrown into the dark days when Al Shabaab insurgents ambushed Garissa university college and massacred 148 people, majority of them students who were enjoying their sleep in the wee hours of the night.

It was one of the worst experiences on Kenyan soil and indeed East Africa as agony and grief engulfed the whole country.

And 4 months down the line, police have said that a body of one of the victims will have to be exhumed after it was discovered it had been handed to the wrong family out of confusion.

According to Tuko, Risper Mutinda’s body was mistakenly given to a family who buried her in Mwingi after the tragic incident that killed 148 people and left at least 79 injured.

Her father, Isaac Mutisya, would later report her missing after failing to trace her among the casualties at the Chiromo Funeral Parlour.

The family in Mwingi who took Risper’s remains unknowingly left their kin at the Chiromo Parlour.

It was until the other day that it was established who the owners of the body that has remained at Chiromo since April and now plans are underway to exhume the body and hand it to the owners in Kitui.

It was harder to tell the two apart as they shared names.

Maisha Inakubamba Hivi? Na Bado #KuwaTrue

Every young Kenyan lady or gentleman dreams of the good life. Sippin’ on expensive liquor, cool parties with beautiful people, delicacies prepared by world famous chefs and being able to drop thousands of shillings on new pairs of Jordan or Prada shoes. Still, there’s a hasher reality. Most people won’t put in the work it takes to enjoy that kind of life.

Success just doesn’t pop up. That’s the sermon we were preached to as kids by our parents and teachers, They said we have to scratch and claw our way up to get where we want to be. So should we all just cut all the fun in our lives and focus on work because the most successful people don’t waste time in activities that don’t fuel their progress? Hell no. There’s a hidden trick to it

In as far as I can remember, I’ve always lacked patience. When I was a kid I wanted to be 15, so I could start flirting with girls. When I was 15, I wanted to be 18 so I could be a ‘real adult’ in the eyes of society. When I was 18, I wanted to be 21, so I could not be frozen at clubs entrances. Now that I am about to turn 25, I am realizing that life flies by and I am no longer eagerly anticipating a new birthday milestone. In fact, I want life to slow the hell down because each day feels so important and no time should be lost.

There’s one problem with riding on the fast lane while you still haven’t made it – life goes so fast and you forget making fey decisions.

In as much as i am an advocate for living in the moment while still being able to plan for the future now, youth comes some folly. Most young people live life full-tilt ahead with their feet on the proverbial gas pedal of life. Their only crime is doing so without trying to create the kind of life they want to build in future. They forget to be true to themselves.

As a young person having fun, you might fail to realize that you are missing one key component: delayed gratification.

If you want to enjoy several bottles of Ciroc and expensive Spanish wine in future, you have to sacrifice a few bottles of makali now. Be true to yourself because you can’t have it all. That’s why together with Trust Condoms, we are creating awareness with the Kuwa True Campaign. Fun is great but fun doesn’t beget success. Have fun now but remember to pt in the work too in order to get the greater life you want in future. Now that’s being true to yourself.

In order for you to become accomplished in one area, you must spend less time in another. But wait…….this very real sacrifice doesn’t sound so good to young people for obvious reasons. Who wants to skip partying in order to attend a business meeting? It’s human nature to choose the path of least resistance – the highway with less traffic.

It won’t be easy adjusting your party lifestyle to incorporate using delayed gratification to get you where you really want to be, but give it a try. It will be worth it. if you crave the extraordinary life of billionaires, then cultivate in yourself thepropensity to put off a little pleasure now, in order chase your goal.

Delaying gratification can be very hard depending on your personality type, but it is what it takes. You want to spend a million on a party in future? Well, you have to stop spending 30k on partying every month and start a business or something. It takes a little sacrifice. So yeah. Be real to yourself. Kuwa True, Stay True and you will love life.

Together with trust condoms, we want you to live the life you deserve, Got any questions? Just shoot them to us. And remember to motivate your friends to be true too

It’s Now Official! These are the 8 Kenyan Celebrities That Are Super-Cool To Hang Out With (Photos)

A large number of celebrities in Kenya have gained a bad reputation of being stand-offish and outright cold, rushing past throngs of adoring fans

A step closer to them and you could just turn into a pillar of ice. But there are some Kenyan celebrities who are exceptionally warm, completely unaware and unbothered by their success interacting with the common mwanachi seamlessly.

Meet our top picks of 2015 as from the Neyo meet and greet that went down the other day at Sankara and hosted by Coca-cola.

1.Eve D Souza

Do not be intimidated by her beauty. The Queen of hits not homework is warm both in and off air, she is the kind to dish out hugs and is very sociable and is genuinely interested in carrying on conversations even with the common people.

2.Adelle Onyango

To this day, my editor is still crushing on the tall glass of water that is Adelle Onyango and for a good reason, she is not only hotter in person, but a huge ball of fun

3.Fena Gitu

The “African King” singer is on the brink of becoming one of the biggest singers in Africa but she doesn’t let fame get to her head. She is the kind to pose with fans everywhere, even selfies in loos. If that’s not humility, then I don’t know what is.

4.Octopizzo

Octopizzo is just that guy. He is probably the most real person I have ever come across and the best celebrity to interview as he keeps it 100% . He says what he feels and whenever he feels like it. Octo is not the kind to shy off controversial topics or flash a middle finger whenever he feels offended.

5.Amina Abdi

Amina Abdi knows how to charge up a crowd and also a conversation. The mother of one has become a fan favorite as she is not only fun, but has managed to maintain a squeky clean reputation. And we all know how hard that is when everyone is watching each and every move you make.

6.Frasha

The doctor and father of three may have started out as a humble rapper in P-unit, but he has managed to evolve into a superstar. And through it all, he still remains humble and grounded.

7.Creme De La Creme

Creme De La creme is one of the most critically acclaimed DJs of our time. The fact that he lets his fans into his life, sharing photos of his wife and kids has enabled him to gain momentum with his fans, making him one of the most beloved stars in the country.

8.Wanjiru Muthoni

Wanjiru is not only a nice girl…she is practically saintly and so humble. She is the kind to thank waiters for their services, dish out warm hugs to her fans and is known to be one of the nicest girls in the showbiz circles.

President Uhuru Donates 500K For Baby Fidelis Muthoni’s Head Surgery In Canada

President Uhuru Kenyatta has once again shown his soft and humane side by offering to offset the traveling money Baby Fidels Muthoni needs to get to Canada for surgery.

The head of state was touched by the toddler’s story after it emerged that money Kenyans had raised for her medication had been siphoned by one Alejandro Wanjau who disappeared with the 2.8M shillings.

Wanjau was arrested yesterday at the ABC Place in Westlands, Nairobi, after he was lured to the place by one of the concerned people.

child.JPG

The con is expected to be arraigned in court to face charges related to fraud.

President Uhuru donated Kshs.500,000 while Muranga governor Mwangi Wairia donated Kshs. 300,000.

The little baby’s parents are expected to leave for Canada to beat the deadline set by doctors who volunteered to treat her free of charge.

Gunmen raided controversial preacher James Ng’ang’a’s Karen home on Friday morning and stole property of unknown value.

According to Daily Nation, the gunmen gained entry into the house by cutting window grills at 3.30am, fired two shots in the air before stealing the money and electronics.

According to Lang’ata Criminal Investigations head Mbogo Mwaura, police are looking into the matter.

The televangelist’s mother, wife and children were in the house but were not injured in the early morning incident.

Pastor James Ng’ang’a spent a second night in Gigiri Police Station after he was arrested for the murder of one Mercy Njeri a month ago through reckless driving.

The Pastor has been in the centre of controversy for a month now and Kenyans are eagerly waiting to see if justice will be served to the deceased.

Ne-Yo Was Driven Across The City In A Top The Class Car. Check It Out (Photos)

Kenya certainly knows how to treat high profile guests, don’t be surprised to hear Ne-Yo say he would love to come back!

From the moment he touched down at JKIA, Ne-Yo was accorded a special treat similar to that one given to folks in government’s high offices.

The American spent a lot of time between Coke Studio in Jamhuri and Westlands where his gigs were held and where he spent his nights.

But how was he moving around the city or better, which vehicle was ferrying him as he went by his activities?

Organizers of Ne-Yo’s visit to Kenya gave him a black high-end 2013 Land Rover Range Rover. The fine piece of British engineering was Ne-Yo’s official ride in the country.

Is Kenyan Music Whack? Al Jazeera Puts Up The Debate And This Is What Its Panelists Said

Kenyan artsites and their music has been put on the spot recently, with its ranking globally very pathetic and wanting.

Kenyans themselves have not shown much appreciation to the efforts put by artsites to come up with tracks, as some argue that their work is just whack and pathetic.

The other day a section of artistes took to the streets to demonstrate and demand that Kenyan media house play at least 60% of local music. They argued that their work has been neglected in favour of foreign stuff, something that has jeopardized every effort they are making to curve a niche for themselves.

And perhaps this is the reason why Aljazeera sampled a panel of experts to discuss Kenyan music yesterday. Among them were Muthoni the Drummer Queen, Wiyo and DJ EDU of BBC.

And as the discussion generated on, it emerged that MDQ and Wiyo, who are Kenyan artistes, had different views regarding Kenyan music.

The debate was that Kenyan Music lacks originality and all the artistes do is ape foreign artistes.

While MDQ argued that no one should blame Kenyan artistes because this is what they grew up listening to, Winyo said that Kenyan artistes are pathetic because they are too lazy to go retreat to their root and come up with something authentic.

While some would say that Kenyans do not appreciate and support their local artistes, others will tell you for free that no one will appreciate and support shoddy and pathetic work.

So what has Radio Jambo’s Gidi Ogidi have to say after watching the debate?

This debate reminded me of some info that I got today that the ongoing coke studio music show being recorded in Kenya, which was graced by American star Neyo, has the worst ratings in Kenya as compared to other countries in Africa.

Some of the reasons being given is that Kenyans don’t appreciate their local Artists. No single urban Kenyan Artist has a fanatical following as Diamond in TZ or Davido in Nigeria. The few that get airplay or media limelight do not live to expectation. Few Kenyans get bothered to watch them even if they are featured with top African n American Stars.

Do you agree? And why is it so?

Where has the Kenyan music industry gone wrong?

Can’t we have such debates on our local tv stations too instead of those tired irritating dj video mixes?

Here Is The Man Who Disappeared With 2.8M Meant For 15 Months Old Child’s Surgery In Canada (Photos)

A conman was nabbed by police yesterday after his 40 days finally came following an incident where he collected money that was meant to help a kid with a tumor in the head to get surgery in Canada but disappeared with the cash.

Alejandro Wanjau allegedly disappeared with 2.8M shillings which had been raised by well-wishers for baby Fidelis Wanjau whose face and head have been disfigured by a tumor that was supposed to be removed in Canada.

Police were alerted of Wanjau’s whereabouts and trapped him in Westlands, Nairobi as he fed on the money which he collected through his Hope Foundation.

The suspect was taken to Muthangari Police station and later transferred to Makuyu Police station where a warrant of arrest had been issued.

15 months old baby Fidelis was due for surgery today in Canada but until 19th of this month, the family had not secured a visa. The treatment is done free of charge by a Canadian hospital.

Wanjau is alleged to have disappeared with the money after he realized he had raised more than the required amount.

Super Aroused Female KDF Soldier Causes A Fuss After She Put Up Open Invitation For Men To Bang Her All Night Long This Friday Night (Photos)

Aya! While others are salendaring, a female KDF soldier is inviting men with Mollis-like stamina to ride her harder than a Texas bull.

Team Mafisi has finally found the lady that dares challenge them for bed activity! Who is man enough to bisect a female soldier??

I hear women serving in the armed forces have been toughened up, I don’t think they can ever salenda. See why one of them is bold enough to challenge men to take her down all night long!

The said service servicewoman goes by the name Corazon O. on social media. Corazon??? But she isn’t the bootyfull socialite, Corazon Kwamboka.

Corazon (seems this name resonates with matters coitus) decided to put up an open invitation for men to bang her all night long.

All night long in this scenario mean TONIGHT! Friday 21st August 2015. She placed the ‘advert’ yesterday, just in time to make sure the message reaches far and wide. Perhaps to give those interested enough time to eat ‘mkombero’ or ready themselves physically and emotionally.

“Tomorrow is Friday, I want someone to bang me the whole night. Who is ready?” Wrote Corazon on her timeline.

Of course her open invitation attracted hundreds of thirsty brothers, most were labeling themselves ‘Mollis’.

Pweeh! Men are just men, I tell you testosterones were busy bragging how they have the biggest anacondas that could make Corazon salenda.

The Little Known Fashion Blogger That Toppled Fashion Icon “This Is Ess”

In a country where fashion bloggers pop up from every corner, in such a high speed that we can barely keep up, it’s kind of hard for a fashion blogger stay afloat.

But there are those bloggers that have managed to not only stay afloat, but also top countless lists, and are called the big 3 fashion bloggers. Sharon Mundia, Sylvia Njoki and Nancie Mwai have managed to carve a fashion niche for themselves making them some of the most sought after bloggers.

But once in a while the giants get toppled. Something that was witnessed during the recently concluded Kenya Fashion Awards. We saw a case of David and Goliath, where a fashion giant got toppled by a little known blogger. And attention quickly diverted to a girl with the blog name “Winnie The Fashionista”.

ess_vs_wimmie.jpg

So who is this Winnie you ask?

Well Winnie describes herself as a lawyer who is passionate about human and women’s rights, a major shoe-holic and a lover of ‘fabulous hair and gorgeous makeup’

The reason she started her blog (in her own words) was because she had “intentions of sharing her enthusiasm for fashion in all forms and to help and inspire others.”

Meet Winnie and check out her blog next:

The Hottest Gospel Track in Town

Size 8 changed when she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and savior and there has been no turning back. Her dance moves are infectious in her upbeat songs to kicking devils as Jesus would. And she is back again like she never left, with a new hit single.

The track is a plot twist of sorts as it starts off with Size getting dolled-up, with flash backs from earlier in the day being evicted from her house, then flash forward, she hits the stage where the crowd goes wild anticipating her biggest show in life, then she suddenly collapses and is then rushed to Karen Hospital.

After a long haul and sweaty surgeons later, Size 8’s life gets saved. The track might be a neo-soul track, the tempo builds up and take off on a celebration of the realization that Jesus is the best option and only option everything else will let you down but God is the same today tomorrow and forever.

Money Is Everything! Diamond Gives Ali Kiba The Shock Of A Lifetime

Ehh! Baba Tiffah calls himself Chibu Dangote, you all know who the richest man in Africa is! Diamond is the ‘Dangote’ of music!

Thanks to Coke Studio Season 3 Ne-Yo and others continental artists made their way to this country of ours.

Coke Studio is a music television series which features live studio-recorded music performances by various artists.

This time round, Ne-Yo, Ali Kiba, Ice Prince and others joined hands to drop a mashup song they performed to a live audience.

When it was first announced Ali Kiba was teamed up with Ne-Yo for Coke Studio, most people taunted Diamond for losing out to his perceived nemesis.

Most thought Ali Kiba would somehow strike a deal with the ‘Miss Independent’ crooner since Coke Studio has in a number of times provided the platform for artists to strike collaborations deals.

But Diamond wasn’t sleeping, he was just waiting for the apt time to play his card. And he indeed nailed it!

Sema kutangulia si kufika ehh! While Ali Kiba was the first one to hit studio with Ne-Yo, but it’s ‘Nana’ hit maker that has managed to strike a collaboration deal with him.

Diamond featuring Ne-Yo is brewing up, now time is the only barrier restraining us from their new song to come.

But how much did Diamond pay Ne-Yo for the collabo? That part we are still conducting a research on it. B e sure we will update you on that the moment we get the scoop.

All we know for now, a collabo with Ne-Yo doesn’t come cheap. And money is not an issue for Chibu Dangote…
