To close this chapter this week, but not forever, let’s focus on one of our less-than-glamorous Colleges. We’ve already talked of Kenyatta University girls, Nairobi University girls and USIU girls. I was going to give you the low down on the JKUAT girls but sadly, I’m not done conducting a research on them. So why not keep up the trend by dishing out on the little dirty ways of the girl from shamed college, Nairobi Aviation.
Nairobi Aviation college made news months ago after it was exposed for being a fraudulent institution serving manufactured certificates and offering some of the shoddiest, lamest courses while at it. After the expose, social media erupted with some of the most hilarious memes and trolls lampooning the school and all of its students.
Even Street routs followed soon after… With mad, mortified students camping outside the Nation Centre to not just protest the ‘untrue’ representation of their school but also cause quite a ruckus.
Well, that’s alooooot of water under the bridge now. And the school, I assume, gas gone back to business and recovered all the losses they had made after that damning television exclusive.
Long story short, even the girls of Nairobi Aviation are not averse to a good, drunken time. Never mind the hilarity of their courses or the absurdity of their institution.
So, how do the girls from Nairobi Aviation, infamously known as the hub of cheats and skulduggery go about their extra-curricular activities?
That don’t involve sports or educational symposia? Let’s see…
PARTY
Owing to the fact that most-if not all-of them come from humble backgrounds, with pretty much means less pocket money and more hassling, these girls are not really the party animals they’d wish to be. Parties to them are far-between. Clubbing is not something they’re used to. And even when they club, the places they visit to get down and break a sweat are not exactly places you want to go with the new girl you’ve just met. It should also be remembered that these girls come from campuses that are located in the seediest and most squalid part of the City. With such a background, of noise and human traffic, market bustle and general city commotion, even their party lives are as such ;rowdy, prone to fights, messy, loud, confusing and tacky.
TRUANCY
Given the notorious nature of the college, as evidently shown to us by the NTV expose, evading classes is not something so new to these lasses. Half of the time, they’re either too bored or too broke or too tired to attend class. And granted that the school administration itself, according to NTV, doesn’t seem to pay any particular attention to ethics and general educational morals, running away from classes in this College is as easy as ABC. Happens all the time. In all weather.
SEX LIFE
You can’t quite explain the sex life of a Nairobi Aviation girl. For the most part, by the way, it’s boring and regular. It’s typical. No fireworks. No controversy. No taboo. Just the same old sex trend…
Girl meets boy, girl is showered with a couple gifts and a dozen club trips and voila, it’s dog style baby! But like all Campus girls, these girls love them some good sex. But they ain’t really experimental. And many of them haven’t tasted one of their own. Or kissed a girl just like themselves. They, however, do have very active sex lives… And their weekends are almost always set aside for a little romp in the sack.
SPONSORS
Given that they come from humble homes, homes that practiced a strict version of PCEA Christianity and homes that were in the village, these girls are still yet to warm up to this whole sponsor thing. Also, given how small the school is and how easy it is for gossip to spread, most of the girls here are afraid of having a sponsor. For fear of negative publicity across school and being the butt of mean, sanitary room gossip over lunch time. Even the ones with a sponsor or two don’t make it public at all. Sponsor affairs are a strict hush-hush affair here.
Another reason that makes most of the Nairobi Aviation girls lack sponsors if also the obvious fact that they sort of lack the flavor, beauty, flair and sexiness that attracts moneyed honchos to them. And that’s why they inter-date. That is,date amongst themselves in the college. Ouch.
ALCHOHOL PREFERENCE AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE
Like any college girl, no matter where from and how exposed, alcohol does form a very huge part of their lives. They need it to look cool and to fit in and to gain confidence and to fuel a party. But they are totally alien to glitzy, expensive brands like Jamesons and Red Labels and the Jack Daniels. To them, anything that can get them high is highly welcome. You will see them, allover River Road, crammed in the little Wines and spirits outlets buying off the cheapest brands in the shelf and also conducting some mini harambee to raise enough money forpay for the mzinga. On a very bad day, which is almost always, they will settle for a Kibao Vodka. Or Moonwalker. And stuff of that kind. But it’s not always a mzinga to them, sometimes they go for the little, half litre bottles. The aim here is to get wasted, and a girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do. A very small percentage of them smoke. And they are still strangers to the Shisha phenomenon.
PARTY SPOT
These ones club mostly in the CBD. From Club Sevens to Rumors to Wallet. River Road also is one of their main haunts. You will see them scattered all over the River Road streets, with their equally-struggling boyfriends, most of who are students in the same college, buying drinks and even taking it right from the convenience of the liquor store. They ain’t big on swanky, exquisite clubs. You won’t find them in Westlands, paying bills and filling up Aqua Blu. Or the Skyluxx Lounge.
They’re yet to get there. Or understand why people even go there. Given their very minimal finances,it would be suicidal for them to attempt to attend even a club in the league of Tribeka . Or Mojos. But they will show up at your local home pub and drunk it down. And then burn it.
EXPENSE
I have tackled this particular issue since I started. Refer to the points above…. She is NOT expensive. Repeat, SHE is NOT expensive.
All you need is yourself. And she’s good to go. Good one, right?
RATCHETNESS
If you combine all of the above qualities of the girl, you’ll realize that this one is quite the one as at as ratchetness is concerned. But unfortunately, that’s NOT the case. The Nairobi Aviation girl has no slightest hint of ratchetness in her. Owing to the fact that she’s a bit reserved, cannot afford that sort of madness and isn’t about that life, this girl will need a tutorial on ratchetness. She’s all cool an coy and collected. Teach her a few tricks though and she’s good to go. But as things currently stand, she’s the most silent girl in da club. You won’t even see her get up to get down to her favorite jam. She won’t be mobbing the DJ or cramming his little box. She won’t be bending over to nobody or nuthin and sure enough you won’t see her drown sixteen dry Vodka shots. No, she isn’t built like that. Not with the Ksh. 380 she has. Mbele na nyuma.

A man is now nursing grave injuries on his member after being raped and beaten by seven prostitutes in the sprawling Kayole Estate.

Johannesburg Metro Police head Chris Ngcobo says security guards at the company noticed Alex’s odd walking style and decided to inquire why he had changed his style of walking.

Celebrated news anchor and investigative journalist John Allan Namu has resigned.
The news just comes in after the reporter handed in his resignation letter to the management of Standard Media Group, where he has been working for the last four years.
His resignation has elicited all manner of speculation but reliable sources say he is resigning to venture into media related personal business. His resignation places KTN in quite a conundrum as it is sees its male English anchors numbers dwindle.
Namu’s resignation follows that of Ian Wafula to K24 in a period of less than one week. KTN appears to be bleeding talent as famed Jicho Pevu producer Kassim Mohamed also leaves.

Gh: Tells us a little about love for the bags
Lorraine: For me, bags are a cult, the more I get; the more I crave for more. My life is an never ending perpetual quagmire of posh bags.
GH. So have you turned your love for bags into something worthwhile? Like a business of some sort? Or probably a collection?
Lorraine: That I have, T&L is now a thriving line of handbags ranging from classics to the moderns, the trendy, the laid back to basically whatever bag you need.
GH: Uhm so why the name T&L what is the catch behind the name
Lorraine: Let’s say that it’s a mash up of names; which I’ll let you people do the guessing
GH: we fancy ourselves a little adventure sometimes; so tell us, where can we get your merchandise.
Lorraine: we have social media pages for that, we’ve supplied contacts therein so if someone makes that order by calling T&L we make the magic happen
Gh: Thats’s about it, any parting shots?

Governors awards in Kenya? It has surely been a long time coming. And with all the graft accusations that have been flying around, it’s only fair that you celebrate and evaluate what your governor has achieved.
When Kenya launched a new dispensation in 2010, it bore fruit the introduction of gubernatorial positions that were meant to take over the various counties that had been born, they are 47 in total. So with budgets amounting to billions, they have been running things for the last two years without much question and interrogation. Not anymore!
Behold the Governors Awards which is a merit based award that is centered on County Governors’ innovative and sustainable strategies that have the greatest social economic impact in their respective counties.
This is an initiative brought forth by the Institute of Applied Studies and Research(IASR) a Research and Technical Assessment firm headed by one Desmond Boi a Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist who is exceptionally versed in matters to do with Research, Prosperity Index Measurements and Community Development. This is in collaboration with Cosmopolitan Media Ltd and Royal Media Services among other stakeholders.
The main objective of the Governors Awards 2015 is to highlight the achievements of Governors during their tenure in office. The award seeks to identify, profile and recognize exemplary performance by Governors where they will have an opportunity to demonstrate their achievement midterm during their leadership. In the process, the Kenyan people will for the first time have an opportunity to know what their Governors have achieved so far.
The process is comprehensively wholesome ranging from self assessment from the Governors themselves whereby each Governor submits self assessment metrics in 25 categories. The process further moves to public participation and then an overall vetting which will be carried out independently by various judges from different professional bodies. They include professional academic, regulatory and membership institutions amid others.
The Award ceremony is scheduled to go down tonight in a gala dinner at Intercontinental hotel from 6PM in a one of a kind ceremony which will be attended by all the Governors and some very high profile figures in the country.
And unlike other awards that have only focused on media relations as the key parameter of success, this one had delved deeper into other performance based categories. They include: Health Service delivery, education, road network development, agriculture and food security, environmental conservation, transformative governance and many more others.

The WhoIsKing debate is shaping up quite hotly and lately the discussion has drawn in a couple of industry big wigs.
First, it was Mwafreeka telling off the guys involved and now, Keyvo KForce has decided to do a song directing it to the artists involved. In a song that tells it as it is, he takes shots at both Juliani and Khaligraph telling them off their recent releases. In the track Kill a King, he accuses Juliani of lacking substance in his release while Khaligraph has basically a fast flow but also says nothing.

The Kansoul is out in the country for a promo tour in London and they have started on a good start, with a major interview in the world renowned BBC.
If this is a pointer on how things are set to become then it is no doubt setting up to be quite a big tour. Mejja and Madtraxx were at the London headquarters on the international broadcaster at the BBC Radio 1Xtra where they had a major interview. It was their first stop in the tour and comes after they had just launched their latest hit ‘Kanayudu’

A few weeks ago, we got a tip from a fan about a club in one of the populous Nairobi estates where patrons tip the bouncer in order to have sex in the premises’ toilets.
On Friday, my 3 colleagues and I left for the joint working in close collaboration with our informer. We got the premises at around 6 in the evening and chose to while the evening away, eating some sumptuous viazi karai at some roadside shack.
According to Tim,our informer, the real debauchery was to be witnessed from 9 O’clock; the time when patrons begin to show up at the joint for tipple and unbridled sex. Nine soon came, at the time we had our way well into a sack of Viazi Karai we left for the joint, our informer in the lead trying to make our entrance as normal as possible.
The door was locked to the outside world; a lone God-forsaken world which continued to thrive in oblivion of the Sodom and Gomorrah a stone throw away. We paid our dues, 500 shillings each and got into the den.
The whole place was dimly lit; wafts and wraiths of smoke rising lazily from sheesha bongs and cigarettes . Colorfully dressed patrons seated around in a circle, like knights at the round table, the waiters were the real tale, they were dressed in skimpy underpants, their privates showing for all and sundry.
We sat down and got lost in the atmosphere redolent of sweat, booze and cheap scents. A waiter strode to our table, stroking his loins and marveling at it’s size, he made a catcall for Salim (our Social media strategist) asking for his order, appalled at the raunchy display, Salim stared on at the apparition before him tongue-tied;
“I’ll have tekilla”, Salim managed
“You mean Tequila?” the weirdo quipped.
“Yes, that or whatever”
We decided to order for whiskey as Salim waited for his Tekilla, or Tequilla; by the time our drinks came an hour had already gone by, it was around some minutes past 10 when Irari suggested we go about the business that had brought us there. I stood up and walked to the washrooms at the far corner of the room. Two bouncers were manning the entrance, when we got to the entrance, they assumed we were a couple too heated to get a room, he took me aside and told me that all the toilets were occupied and I’d have to part with an extra 300 shillings for the joys of using the facilities.
We paid promptly and walked into the washrooms .

By the sink is a couple kissing, a younger looking guy and man twice his age; both engrossed in the throes of passion oblivious of the two new comers who stand by, rooted in horror witnessing the shocking happenings.
Inside the toilet booths are noises, moans and grunts of people obviously doing more than just toilet business. We sneak a peek; a couple is having sex; humping the nightlife away grunting and screaming, sweating and headbanging.
I realize we need to take photos; evidence of some sort, a something tangible to share with you readers the debauchery that happens in the Nairobi Estate clubs as you slumber. Before we even get to whip out our phones and start recording, the bouncer burst in; someone alerted them that we were not usual patrons.
Irari lost his phone that night, luckily I hid mine where the sun don’t shine and was able to survive the frog march to the outside where salim and Joe were waiting of us, struggling not to laugh.
Before slamming the door on our faces the bouncer shouted: “Kwendeni! Jinga, Jounalists wa Saa ngapi! We’ve seen better people! Endeni mkuje na Al Jazeera! (stupid journalists, go bring us Aljazeera)

The activist says one Christopher Bodo brutally assaulted his wife after which he stripped and raped her as the maid and his four children watched.
Diana says Christopher, who works at Total Kenya Airport branch, is still roaming freely despite the case being reported to Buru Buru Police Station.

After a 3 month manhunt, police successfully carried out an operation that ended the life of one notorious criminal by the name Samuel Kiboi aka Simba.
Simba was giving Othaya residents sleepless nights. The hardcore gangster was Central Kenya’s most wanted criminal.
His crimes included robbery with violence, murder, rape, kidnapping, abduction and extortion. Simba had found a safe haven in Aberdare Forest where he would retreat after committing his crimes.
Tired of the thug’s brutal epoch of felony, the police assembled a team of Rapid Deployment Unit (RDU) and a special unit of the Administration Police (AP) to hunt down Simba.
After months of evading the long arm of the law, Simba was finally nailed down last Tuesday. The police raided his hideout in Abardares Forest and gunned him down.

Elizabeth Wanjiru popularly known as ‘Charity’ on Citizen TV’s Mother-In-Law, is fighting her Ugandan ex hubby over their matrimonial home in Loresho Estate, Nairobi.
Charity’s woes started in 1981 after her husband of 13 years walked out on her. The actress was married to Shem Bageine at the time when they jointly purchased the Loresho home which the Ugandan national registered in his name.
Bageine is currently the Minister of State in East African Affairs in Uganda. He hasn’t seen Charity for the last 34 years despite having a court battle with her that has also spanned for close to three decades.
The Citizen TV actress wants the court to grant her the ownership of the house arguing that it was bought with her money which was in a joint account with her Ugandan ex sweetheart.
Charity is expected to appear in court today alongside her estranged husband and other parties involved in the wrangle.

Crime Watch identified him as a Kenyan citizen who had links across Essex and Kent in the UK. Wanjiru was also said to have a tattoo on his right hand embossed with the words ‘RIP KOREDE’ and has always held it that he is 21 years of age.
The Uk authorities however want Bernard back to prison after he failed to honor the conditions set for his release.
