I’m sorry but we’re yet to graduate from writing about the Project X virginity-breaking party. I mean,it hasn’t happened yet. So we have like another 5 days of marathon coverage of what is quickly becoming the threshold of all house parties,going forward.

Even before happening,the Project X house party has already created such an enormous buzz,rattled so many,irked so many and dominated so much a local radio conversation,even cancelling it won’t really dent the intention that the organizers had.

If the planners of the March 12th sin bender intended to provoke authorities, they’ve succeeded. Perfectly.

Now,we even have Tweet-smart cops tweeting out warnings regarding the party,TV journals reporting exclusively on it,Newspaper writers dedicating acres to the event and bloggers doing what bloggers do best-milk a situation dry.

But house parties happen all the time,don’t they? I bet the guy on the third floor of your lofty apartments in Embakasi threw one last night.

But Project X Is not your everyday party. It’s a party that requires you to show up ready to sin. Ready to have your virginity broken. Ready to bare all to total strangers. Ready to get your private parts licked and groped and penetrated. Ready to try all of the hardest drugs ever invented.

It’s like a Pablo Escobar anniversary party. In the valleys of the hidden Colombian Hills.

But is this the GREATEST PROJECT X PARTY? Is the Kenyan version the first ever such party? The answer is NO.

After the Project X movie was released,hundreds of young communities around the World decided to throw their own parties mimicking what they saw on the film.

So,which are some of the maddest,craziest,most insane,disturbing and shocking parties that were ever thrown? In the name of Project X?

Come,let’s explore.

1.PROJECT M

On March 9, 2012,just a month after the release of the Project X movie, “Project M” became the first event to gain media attention after a party invite was posted on Twitter by Michigan high schooler Mikey Vasovski, and was subsequently passed to thousands of people, to the point that the message was being resent once per second, and was posted on Craigslist.

The party was dubbed “Project M” by Vasovski, and the invite contained the address of an abandoned house where the party would take place. By 9 a.m. on March 9,potential party-goers began arriving at the location. Within two hours,the place was buzzing with thousands of young people carrying drugs and alcohol and even clothes for changing. But by 11 a.m. the party had been officially cancelled after dozens of police began escorting people off of the premises.

2.PROJECT KRIS

On March 10, 2012, a second party gained massive media attention. The party was organized by a Canadian teen student, titled “Project Kris”. Within 24 hours,his Tweet had been viewed by over 900,000 people.

It all started with a single post by Hunter Mills that was helped along by the hashtag ‪#‎ProjectKris‬, a play on the name of the movie about an out-of-control house party, Project X.

Within 24 hours of the original tweet about the get together at Kris Morrey’s house in Calgary, #ProjectKris was trending across Canada. It ended up being seen by and having over 900,000 posts worldwide.

Soon tweets from as far as Japan, Australia and the Middle East were talking about gatecrashing #ProjectKris.

Things quickly got out of control.

Kris had only intended to have around 30 people at his place. But with the global attention threatening to bring gatecrashers from far and wide, the police quickly warned against the party and spoke with the teen asking him to stop it. And it was ultimately stopped… But not before people had traveled from all around the World to Canada to attend the massive massive party. Wow!

3.PROJECT FLORIDA

On March 13, 2012,a crazy party was attempted in Miramar, Florida. In Miramar, people were invited to a foreclosed home to recreate the film as “Project X House Party 2”. The promoter was arrested and charged with $19,000 of criminal damage before the party had even begun. Police turned away over 2,000 excited teenagers who approached the property unaware of the party’s cancellation.

Christopher Dade,the event organizer,was also quickly arrested.

According to police,Dade and his gang broke into the home some time before the party and spray-painted the walls, glass doors, staircase, blinds and other areas. Repairing the damage would take several weeks at a cost of about $20,000. The party never really went down. Ouch.

4.PROJECT X,Houston,Texas.

And on the same date,March 13th,a similar Project X party was going down in Houston,Texas. Things got so bad,the turnout was so huge,noise was so much,people got so wasted and high that 13 teenagers were arrested after successfully throwing the party and causing up to $100,000 (Ksh. 1 Million) of damages to an empty home.

The teens threw a party at the empty Texas home before going on a wrecking spree with the building owners saying it looked like it had been hit by a tornado.

Nearly every window in the Houston home had been smashed,and walls kicked in,paint destroyed,doors brought down,cabinets broken into pieces and parts of the roof blown off.

When police questioned the teens about their motivation for the crazy party,they claimed to have been inspired by the film.

5.Project X,Hosuton,Texas PART TWO

A second Houston party attracted over 1,000 guests, but resulted in the death of one person after attendees started firing guns when police moved in and forcefully attempted to break up the event.

The victim,aged 19, was found seriously shot outside the party house and later died at hospital, Houston police said.

Having been advertised on Facebook and Twitter, large numbers turned out at the home which was surrounded by a field and believed to be in foreclosure.

Party-goers said that trash cans full of spiked alcoholic drinks were lined up for the all-nighter and wet foam was spread on the floor with machines brought in to create the foam.

Women who wore bathing suits and others naked were granted free entry, according to the flyer, while others paid a cover charge.

But around 12.30am, police responded to complaints about noise from neighbors and began to shut down the party causing hundreds of revellers to spill into the street,start bloody gun fights and endless running battles with police all night. Someone died. Many ended up in police cells. Many others in Hospital wards.

6.PROJECT X,Denmark

On September 21, 2012, in the small Dutch town of Haren,a party spiraled out of control after a viral Facebook invitation. Many revelers wore T-shirts marked ‘Project X Haren’. And the turnout was super massive. We are talking over 3,000 people.

After things started getting out of control,hundreds of police started confronting the party goers.

Video of the incident showed rioters hurling glass bottles and other debris at security teams in Haren.

Prosecutors said 34 people were arrested that Friday night and Saturday morning after rioters torched at least two cars, threw stones ,broke into buildings,burnt bikes and smashed storefront windows.

During the drama,At least 36 people were injured,including one police officer, one man suffered a broken jaw,others suffered broken legs and hands and neck.

6 people died of drug overdose,alcohol poisoning,gun shots and bloody,violent street fights.

Police said that they had never seen anything like that ever in that town.

Prosecutors said revelers began arriving Friday afternoon,though some appeared “ready and prepared for confrontation.”

Authorities estimated that at least 3,000 people turned up for the event, and that specific “ring leaders” had contributed to the destruction.

Guess who started the party? A 16-year old girl. Yes!

The massive damage after the crazy night was estimated to be over €1 million ($1.32 million). Well,that’s money enough to bankroll a by-election in Kericho. Yes,that much. Damn!

7.PROJECT X,Argentina

In 2012, a party called Proyecto X (“Project X” in Spanish) was held in the Pilar Partido of Buenos Aires Province, Argentina. The event had been massively announced on Twitter,Facebook and Instagram quickly speaking like wildfire and Trending across the Country.

On the material day,over 4,500 teenagers gathered at the venue,drunk and disorderly,rowdy and loud. Alcohol and drugs were sold freely and extensively,many people lost consciousness in the madness, girls showed up barely dressed and police later were called in to shut down the event. Parents would be later called to come pick up their drunken and dazed kids… It was a scene straight from hell.

8.PROJECT P

In 2014, a party called “Project P” was thrown in Mecosta County, MI which attracted more than 2,000 people to an isolated farm house.

There were go-go dancers, strippers, a fire thrower,prostitutes and two DJs reportedly hired for the crazy party. Dozens of participants were taken to area hospitals after overdosing on drugs (particularly heroin) and alcohol including one reported sexual assault.

Police from seven agencies who responded chose to manage the situation from the perimeter because of the risk of hundreds of intoxicated drivers fleeing the scene.

People started calling 911 frantically after realizing that their friends had started overdosing and becoming unable to wake up or respond. People were collapsing allover the streets and in the corridors and alleys, unable to move to talk. One person died of a drug overdose.

Things got so bad that the police themselves even started getting scared of the crowd most of whom had cars and were driving allover the place,recklessly,crashing into each other.

Three suspected organizers of the rave were formally charged.

Things got so bad that emergency ambulances and paramedics couldn’t even be able to access the venue of the party due to the massive drunken crowds in the streets and major violence allover the neighborhood.

Nothing of this kind had ever been seen in this City. Nothing of this kind has EVER been repeated here.

Gone are the days when celebrities went to events in a matatu, nowadays Kenyan celebrities always make a grand entrance with first class concierges, choppers, tight security and vintage limos.

Yesterday one of the biggest events went down at Nyayo Stadium, the 3rd Edition of the First Lady’s Half Marathon held in support of the Beyond Zero Campaign.

There were many dignitaries in attendance including William Ruto, First Lady of the Republic of Rwanda Jeannette Kagame and Mrs. Rachel Ruto.

But the star attraction seemed to be these mysterious ladies who have caused quite the stir on social media judging from the many times this photo has been circulated:

It’s all systems go for the mother of all debauched parties slated to go down this coming Saturday at a location that’s yet to be made public.

House parties are normally supposed to be regular,everyday affairs. But this one is not your everyday house party. This one has attracted the ire of a section of Kenyans,the attention of Parliamentarians,the police,parents and pretty much any other moral nazi we have around.

Why? Well,for starters,the organizers decided to ditch the traditional way of organizing parties,you know,text your 10 friends,tell them what’s up,request them to kindly show up on time and sit back,hoping they’ll even come.

The guys behind Project X,the mother of sin,decided to notch up the party a little. They did a poster. And fearlessly decoded to include the intricate motive of the party ON the poster-drugs,sex,nudity,virginity-breaking,immorality,Satan.

The poster is clear – show up naked,be ready for sex (alot of it),bring along a drink of your choice,bring along some hard,illicit drugs (MDNA,ecstasy ,cocaine,methamphetamine,diacetylmorphine,everything) and don’t bother wearing any underwear or panties.

It doesn’t get raunchier than that.

But where did the organizers of this particular party get their inspiration from? Who inspired them to do this sort of party? What moved them? From which book did they steal lessons?

It all started with a movie.

Around 2011,some two scriptwriters came together to write the screenplay for what would become one of the most cultic movies ever released in Hollywood.

Michael Bacall and Matt Drake,seasoned Hollywood writers,sketched up a script that would then be acted out in a movie that would later be named Project X.

Michael Bacall,having had a long history of screenwriting in Hollywood,was at tyat time also writting the popular movie 21 Jump Street when he teamed up with Drake to write a comedy about three friends who plan to gain notorious popularity by throwing an insane,unprecedented party,a plan which quickly escalates out of their control.

Hollywood producer Todd Philips was tasked with the gargantuan duty of producing the film. Writers Bacall and Drake,it was reported,were told to go as crazy as they possibly could with the writing,and come up with the illest,the sickest plot line of any movie ever in Hollywood.

London-based director Nima Nourizadeh,who had never worked on a film before,just on commercials and music videos,was brought on board to direct the film which was supposed to show the ”gnarliest high school party of all time”. And the work began.

To help in developing the plot,the Production team sat with the writing team to share experiences of some of the craziest high school and campus parties they had ever attended. And everything was mixed up into one huge script that was made to shock and shake Hollywood.

And then production began.

Filming took place on sets in Los Angeles over five weeks on a US$12 million budget with Thomas (Thomas Mann),Costa (Oliver Cooper) and J.B. (Jonathan Daniel Brown) acting as the movie’s main cast.

Infact,Project X was actually not intended to be the title of the film,but it was kept to capitalize on interest generated by the rumored secrecy surrounding the project.

Filming took place over twenty-five nights between 5pm and 5am on the Warner Ranchin Burbank,California.

Producers described the filming as a “party atmosphere”, with New York DJ Jesse Marco on set performing music even when the cameras stopped rolling to maintain the crazy energy of the cast and extras.

Many of the same extras were brought back for multiple nights of filming and partying and dancing, and would continue to party between scenes,taking insane amounts of alcohol and doing all manner of drugs.

During filming,Burbank police were called severally to the set concerning noise complaints made by nearby residents who couldn’t cope with the insane noise,loudness and rowdiness happening in the neighborhood every single night.

During the filming of the movie,which took place for over 25 crazy nights,property was destroyed,police were called in endlessly,violence would erupt and madness reigned supreme. It was like a scene from hell,a scene of demons escaping the yokes of Satan,screaming and howling,finding their way out.

Soon enough,filming ended and the post-production process started.

And on February 29,2012,Project X held its world premiere at the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood,followed by an insane,satanic after party with performances by US rappers Kid Cudi, Tyler, The Creator, and The Hundred in the Hands.

Interestingly,party guests were greeted by Los Angeles Police Department cruisers and bouncers warning them to keep their clothes on! Oh shit!

The notorious film would go on to gross $54,731,865 in North America and $48,000,000 from markets elsewhere –making a staggering worldwide total of $102,731,865!

Immediately after its release,Project X was roundly and unanimously panned by the World,by shocked parents and by film critics.

People had never before seen so much recklessness,so much debauchery,so much drug-intake,so much alcoholism and so much display of semi-nudity and sexualism in a movie.

People were appalled.

Empire’s Chris Hewitt gave the film one star out of five, and referred to the central characters portrayed by Mann, Cooper, and Brown, as “spectacularly unlikable”. Hewitt labeled the characters “unrepentant, nihilistic, vile, venal, animalistic, avaricious, charmless, entitled, sub-Kardashian,stunningly irresponsible brats”. Hewitt ended his review by stating that the film was “possibly the worst film of the last 20 years”.

Todd McCarthy of The Hollywood Reporter ,called it “grimly depressing, glumly unfunny teensploitation”,

USA Today’s Claudia Puig angrily called it a “heinous, misogynistic movie filled with faceless crowds and nary a character who resembles an actual human being”.

Melissa Anderson of The Village Voice said the film promoted “skull-numbing hedonism without consequences”, and “second-nature misogyny”, and that the only purpose of the male characters is to “‘get high, fuck bitches’.

And Robbie Collin of The Telegraph,among many many other outraged critics and viewers ,called the film “flamboyantly loathsome on every imaginable level”.

But even after much worldwide revulsion,still Project X was listed as the number 1 most illegally downloaded film of 2012 on BitTorrent with approximately 8.7 million downloads. 8.7 phuckin’ million!

And that’s when the madness started. That’s where teenagers and adults and druggies and hippies and junkies and college rebels all around the World started getting ideas on organizing the craziest house parties in the neighborhood…Dubbed Project X.

The movie’s mind-blowing success helped spawn hundreds of other wicked parties World over,from Canada to the USA to Britain to South Africa to Russia to Tunisia to Turkey to Germany to France.

After watching the movie,Every group of friends now wanted to replicate the mad scenes in the movie. And do something even more shocking,more outrageous,more depraved,more lecherous and more jaw-dropping than what was done in the movie.

It was a movie commissioned straight from the bowel of Satan. And his plan seems to be working. To date. 5 years later!

As the KCSE results were being announced many were shocked by the number of As that every school seemed to be getting.

It was raining As everywhere and other schools even had as half of its students get As. Chavakali Boys arguably set the record with its 300 As. One school was conspicuous in its silence once again, Starehe Boys Center and School.

After barring journalists from its grounds the school’s principal later had an interview with KTN and expressed  his satisfaction with the results even as the school garnered just  55 As from its 290 students a drop from the 70+ in the previous year. While not dismal, it pales in the comparison of those recorded in other schools.

The Late popular KTN news anchor Ahmed Dharwesh sure did see his death coming following his illness.

Just a few days after his wife revealed that the skilled journalist and poet had a premonition of his death, a last poem he wrote revealed he not only saw his death but had pretty much everything worked out.

The level of detail and attention paid to the things and people close to reveal a man not scared of his death,(he had bought his burial garments) and very much concerned with the welfare of those he left behind. He talks of his wife and daughters and the way he wished to be remembered. Here is the poem as it appeared in the Newspaper.

You’ve all probably seen the poster audaciously advertising one of the raunchiest and most explicit house parties Nairobi has ever seen. Aptly dubbed ‘Project X’,this spectacular bender was supposed to go down over the next weekend with attendees encouraged to show up skimpily-dressed or not even dressed at all and with an encouragement to bring along your own booze and preferred drugs.

That’s the MOST audacious party poster that Nairobi has seen yet. In one of the posters,brazenly publicizing a party Satan would probably be ashamed to attend,seductive photos of young women in different stages of undress can be seen… Also,a poster features the faces of two young gentlemen,probably the event organizers,looking all proud and haughty,content on the amount of debauchery they were about to unleash on a City.

There is even a number on the poster that you can call and reserve space,buy a ticket and/or ask for directions among other decadent things.

‘Project X’ promises to be a party of the Year. The party where lecherous profligates will congregate for the most atrocious night,fueled by nothing but hard drugs,excessive alcohol,blatant nudity and random romps.

According to the organizers,this party will be like something that has not been witnessed before. And as for the sex lovers,you can sit back and pay for the tickets in glee. There’ll be plenty of it on offer that night… From everyone in attendance.

And after the news started spreading fast on social media,Trending high on Twitter and whipping up a sandstorm of indignation amongst the pretentious types,rowdy nominated MP Isaac Mwaura (CORD) rushed to Facebook to shut it down,quickly calling the Police Headquarters,alerting Citizen TV presenters and forwarding the party organizers number to the ‘authorities’.

What the F%*K???!

This is the same man who presided over one of the darkest political moments in Kenya,causing massive havoc at Kasarani Stadium by jumping on tables and yelling himself hoarse,stopping a party nominations exercise from going on and resulting in wanton destruction of property,violent riots across the delegation,the birth of notorious ‘Men In Black’ and a massive disruption of a democratic process.

Hon. Mwaura started it all. Like a hooligan,jumping onto a table and throwing a national process into limbo,unchecked and unbridled.

But that’s an OK thing to do.

Mwaura is in an August House that has been accused of all manner of ills,a House that has robbed Mwananchi dry,a house that has flagrantly pushed for bigger and bigger pay hikes every season,a house whose members get paid (bribed) to vote on important legislative matters,a house littered with hooligans and architects of death,,a house that has stolen billions meant for the same Youth it’s pretending to ‘protect’,a house reeking of endemic corruption incredible greed and heartless wickedness. But he’s OK with that,too.

Nothing about the moral decadence that Parliament has sunk this Country to irks Hon. Mwaura. Or maybe it does. And he never quite finds the need to spring to action so fast. Condemn it so spiritedly.

So,the Police have stopped the party? Why? Because it was publicized,that’s why.

Hundreds of wicked house parties happen every weekend in every City estate and neighborhood. Hundreds of drug-fueled parties go down in Buruburu,Kitisuru,Ruaka,Juja,Kasarani,Westlands,Upper Hill,Lang’ata,Kiambu Road,South B every weekend. With all manner of drugs and all forms and shapes of nude women in display.

Wealthy Kenyan politicians organize debauched Parties in Westlands and Hurlingham and Lavington every weekend… In the company of blithe college girls young enough to be their grand daughters.

Some of these politicians and businessmen and lawyers are people that Hon. Mwaura probably knows. Or knows about.

But has he ever spoken about it? Why don’t the Kenya Police,who I assume know everything,raid palatial villas in Riverside and Spring Valley where moneyed politicians are living it up with decadent college kids? Depraving them and sexing them and drugging them and violating them and poorly paying them afterwards?

Has anyone raided the many stripper joints along Accra Road? Luthuli Avenue? River Road? Or are they run by powerful business moguls whose strip joints cannot be brought down?

Kenya IS NOT Iran. This is NOT a Theocracy. Kenya Is NOT Saudi Arabia. Or some stupid conclave run by extremist religious bigots. Kenya Is a secular state. Not some ISIS-controlled colony run by the Scriptures and Holy Books.

You CANNOT shut down a party because there was a poster about it. If that’s the case then,You SHOULD shut down all house parties in this city. Not just the one party for which there was a poster.

Do we have moral police now? Does a Nation’s morality only apply when sex and alcohol is involved??!!

Hundreds of high school teens hook up over the holidays for promiscuous parties and weed-smoking and teenage sex in each other’s homes and in secretive clubs. What has the police done about this?

If all it takes for a party to get ‘banned’ is to have a poster about it, then,moving forward,there will be NO posters. And the party will go on.

Hon. Mwaura and the guys at KFCB (who recently attempted to ban a music video and ended up thoroughly embarrassed) must remember that YOU cannot police a Country’s morality. You cannot be the custodians of what is moral or not in Kenya.

If that’s the case then,let’s close down all nightclubs and pubs and lounges and discotheques in Kenya. Or doesn’t immorality go down there too? What do Kenyans go to the club to do? Worship Jesus? Sing hymns? Read scripture?

It’s stupid for Hon. Mwaura to claim that ‘Project X’ was ‘destroying our youth’. In what way? Isn’t that a party that YOU get to pay for? On your own volition? Or are the organizers planning to force people into attendance? At gun-point?

The greatest threat to the Kenyan Youth today is not some house party in some posh Nairobi location. It’s Politicians. And kleptocratic,satanic public figures. As a Youth,I want to be protected from the stealing of Billions of shillings in some Youth Fund. Not from some party I may or not attend.

I want to be protected from the grabbing of land meant for my sports activities. I want to be protected from tribal nonsense and ethnic bigotry. I want to be protected from political displacement and bloodshed. I want to be protected from having Funds meant for my development shared out amongst wicked Parliamentarians. I want to be protected from Bad Governance as a result of a Supreme Court bribery.

And then I will protect MYSELF from what party to attend or not.

Project X Is Not some public performance. Or a prime-time TV show. But a private,enclosed affair that you only get to be admitted to AFTER YOU have paid for it. By YOUR own volition. With YOUR own money. With YOUR own conscience.

You cannot be telling Adults what to do! Put your Political Party-and it’s errant Wife-beating Principals- in order first. And then you can come preach to us about what’s morally correct or not.

The Government is NOT my mother. Only she can tell me what to do or not. Where to go or not. Who to hang out with or not. And I can also chose to disobey her if I so wish.

PS: I had already bought a ticket. And I still hope to attend. See you there,moral police. Oh please!

Caroline Mutoko. Ciru Muriuki. Bloggers. Twitter. Facebook. Celebrities. Ordinary People. That’s who has been going gaga over Seve Gat’s,the new Facebook phenomenon who has been keeping netizens entertained for the last 24 hours now.

Seve,an ingenuous Facebook user from Meru,wasn’t always a star. She had been living her simple life quietly,uploading some mundane stuff that ranged from her nieces to some bland random quotes until fame found her. And I am sure,unintentionally.

Looking at her,Seve (obviously not her real name) does not give off the vibe of someone who is ready for fame. Ready for blog mentions or a sudden appearance on a weekly tabloid TV show to talk about her online mischief.

She looks every inch like the average guy on Facebook-minimal friends,banal updates,shady photos,bad hair,dull life,minimal exploits,drab clothes and little pomp.

Prior to her sudden fame,with her recent updates attracting as much as 800+ ‘LIKES’,the most LIKES Seve could garner on a single update was,roughly,10 LIKES. 13 on a good day.

And here she is,less than a day later,hauling an impressive 500+ LIKES and hundreds and hundreds of shares. All of a sudden.

But why is everyone suddenly getting so fascinated with Seve Gat’s? Why has she become such a phenomenon? Why are Facebook groups discussing her all day? And why has she caught the eye of the fastidious Caroline Mutoko?

1. Photoshop
Whichever way you look at it,Photo shop will always win. There’s something about Photoshop that invokes laughter and much amusement. People who have photoshopped themselves onto objects or next to celebrities rarely fail to make news. The Internet Photoshops every hilarious occurrence into anything and everything. Lately,Manchester United Manger Louis Van Gaal was photoshopped next to numerous individuals and onto to numerous news-y situations after he fell down trying to make a point at the recent MAN-U/Arsenal game. Photoshop always wins. Whether with Madonna or Donald Trump or Obama or Uhuru Kenyatta. Mike Sonko is our most valuable player in the Photoshop department. And by simply photoshopping herself at at the JKIA,Seve immediately had us. And we were gripped. To the end.

2. Her Nature-And Looks
Seve Gat’s doesn’t look like your everyday Internet wizard. She does look like some clueless newcomer in a land she knows very little about. She’s a novice,no doubt,and her actions are at first strange… And then hilariously applaudable. She doesn’t seem like she even relishes the attention. Or cares that we care. She seems like she’s doing it for the ten people who genuinely care about what she posts. Not the thousands of Kenyans that she’s now entertaining,by default. Her profile picture doesn’t scream ‘Seasoned Entertainer’. It screams ‘Regular Mama’. And that’s where the humor us. It’s probably the bad hair. Or the boring clothes. Or that horrible weave. Or the silly pose…It’s her nature. Very pure,plain and simple.

3. Bad photo shop skills.
You can either be a brilliant photoshop maven. Or a totally crappy photoshop neophyte. And she’s the latter. Seve, clearly,knows absolutely nothing about Photoshop. And that’s why we are laughing. And intrigued. Her skills are so horrendous it’s hilarious. She doesn’t seem to care,anyway. And continues to botch up the job. Photo after photo. It’s her ineptitude that we are actually laughing at. Funny as hell.

4. Suspense
Now everyone wants to see what she’s going to photoshop herself next to next. Everyone who has caught wind of her is now waiting in bated breathe… Watching her next step,curious of where she will be next,what she will be standing next to (or on) next. And curious of where her fictitious Chinese Odyssey takes her next. We can’t wait to see what she explores next. What monument she tours next. Will she meet Chinese President Xi Jinping? Will she sit down for a meal of some fresh dog stake in downtown Beijing!? Will she take a photo at the Tiananmen Square? We want to know.

5. Internet
The Internet was made for overnight celebrities. It was made for sudden stars who’ve shunned the traditional routes of popularity to emerge at the top. Internet was also made for instant fame,bad jokes,troll culture,messy incidences,awkwardness and jaw-dropping moments. And Miss Seve Gat’s,her very bad moniker notwithstanding,seems to have won the Internet. And it’s users. She doesn’t seem like she’s interested in keeping us glued to her improbable Oriental tour though. Too bad. Someone should take over her account! Fast! And keep us all entertained all weekend.

Drunk drivers have become a menace to not only their well-being but also to the well-being of others. Some people pride themselves in being able to steer a car while drunk but that is not something to be proud of as you put other people’s lives in danger.

Last year Karen Knaust lost her sister after a drunk driver veered off his lane and rammed into her sister (Ruth car). Ruth was rushed to hospital but the injuries were too grave and she succumbed.

 

 

Now the drunk driver who caused her death is out of the hospital after causing the accident as he was injured too and may soon be brought to trial; if everything goes as planned.

Karen urged her friends and followers to put her family in their prayers as they prepare to take legal action against the perpetrator.

“Please pray for our family…We are in the process of going to court now! The 22 year old who killed my sister through drunk driving is out of hospital since he also suffered major injuries. Lord give us strength. Our family lawyer needs your prayers too. Oh my, reality sinking in slowly.” Karen posted.

Karen Knaust’s story strikes a chord in my heart because I lost my brother to an accident caused by a drunk driver. So I pray and hope that Karen’s family get justice.

Wendy Williams is known for being explicitly blunt and prides herself in giving the truth straight with no chaser .Something that has made people love her and hate her in equal measure.

She recently gave her two cents on the drama going on after popular actress Zoë Saldana was cast to play Nina Simone, a famous American singer, songwriter and civil rights activist. Critics were displeased that Zoe, a Puerto Rican-Dominican actress was cast to play Nina Simone a dark-skinned black woman while in fact there were other talented African actresses who could have pulled of the role. The fact that she wore black-face and a prosthetic nose to play the role further irked the critics who threatened to boycott the movie.

During her show yesterday, Wendy reveled that she thought that Lupita Nyong’o who has become quite hit in Hollywood would be more qualified for the iconic role. Another star who Wendy suggested could have played that role brilliantly was talented actress ‘Viola Davis’ who stars in ‘How To her away with murder’
