Just when you thought American president is the one who travels with the most luggage, Saudi King pops to break the record.
King Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud is surely the most extravagant person on the world; he caused ripple when his customized private jet Boeing 747 touched down in Jakarta on Wednesday March 1st 2017 for a nine-day tour of the world’s most populous Muslim nation.
King Salman carried along 506 tons of luggage including two Mercedes-Benz S600 limousines, two electric lifts, customized gold-colored escalator.
The Saudi king also arrived with a massive entourage of 1,500 people that included 10 ministers, 25 princes, and at least 100 security personnel.
The Saudi king will spend a few days in the capital before heading to the popular tourist island of Bali on the Indonesian leg of a month-long Asia tour that’s already taken him to Malaysia and which will also see him going to China, Japan and the Maldives.
