Big Brother Africa Update: Remember Bolt M4sturbating? Well, Now Malawi’s Natasha M4sturbates With A D!ldo

Yeah, do you remember the piece I did about Bolt m4sturbating while Betty the beautiful lass from Ethiopia was in bed? Read about it here. Well, turns out Bolt isn’t the only fapper in the house. They seem to be many and they aren’t too shy about letting Africa know that they pleasure themselves when the thirst becomes real.

Meet Malawi’s Natasha. The 26 year old lass hasn’t gotten any for a while now and the thirst got too real! So real infact that she took to playing with her toy Mr. D!ldo.

Natasha

And given the fact that she is up for eviction, I am a little confused about whether this was a stunt to save herself or her thirst actually got this real. This is how everything unfolded:

Daybreak: Natasha playing naughty with herself?

Today she purred to her fellow Rubies, “Don’t be scared if you hear a zzzzzzzzz sound while you sleep, it’s just me and my vibrator,” and then smiled sheepishly. Her fellow Housemates were clearly taken aback by this declaration as Maria and Oneal quickly leapt out of bed to get a better listen to this intriguing bit of information. “Seriously if you hear a grrr grr sound, don’t think that I am shaving, I am not shaving,” she added while laughing.

Uh huh… Nothing to see here!

Demarco Dry Humps Girl On Stage Till Her Mini Skirt Comes Off Leaving Her Exposed! (VIDEO)

Yeah, this is reminiscent of when BMX… Sorry, I meant RDX came to Kenya to perform the only song they had! What was that track called? “Daggering” or something of the sort. Anyway, I do not know, I do not like Dancehall so I could care less.

No, really, if it were physically possible to care any less, I would. Dancehall is madness on instrumentals shared by over 100 people which to me is the epitome of laziness but this isn’t about my sentiment. wait have I offended you with my monologue?

It’s about the dancing! And boy could the lass in question dance! Or… uhm… as Condescending Wonka would put it:

But first, here are the pictures taken by Pulse Magazine’s Pius Cheruiyot (whom I still insist deserves a raise) took:

Unbelievable! Ugandan Denzel’s Landlady Hikes His Rent after Seeing Him on Big Brother!

This is just ridiculous. Immediate former Uganda’s representative to Big Brother – The Chase, Charles Mwiyeretsi better known as Denzel was in for a rude awakening when his landlady told him that rent for his apartment had been increased by UGX200,000/- approximately KES. 66, 600.

“After just two weeks out of my house. I come back and inform her I will be moving back in and she wanted to increase my house rent by a stunning 200K!,” revealed the 30 year old radio and TV show host. And when Denzel demanded to know why all of a sudden rent had increased the lady told him in his face, “Oh, I know you have money, I saw you on TV in South Africa.”

This is when Denzel woke up and realised that he was not in the Big Brother house anymore where the only thing to do was to relax in the jacuzzi, sleep, drink, dance and massage.

It’s not clear whether Denzel’s eviction to her meant that the Ugandan housemate had won but at least she is sure it was Denzel she saw on TV who must be loaded by virtue of the way he was playing the game.

His close pals advised him to just apply the ‘avatar’ or better still do the massage moves that he pulled on Huddah Monroe while still in the Big Brother House.

Following that advise, Denzel just laughed it off. “Haha, thanks guys. Always good to be back home. Fuh real! Once you get used to the dust…you cant live without it! haha”

Uproar at Radio Jambo after Mbusii’s Arrival

As you all know, celebrated radio presenter Mbusii decamped from Ghetto Radio and joined Radio Africa’s sports and news station, Radio Jambo. However, all is not rosy at the station as the old employees are crying foul.

According to a staff who asked to remain anonymous for fear of victimization, there is an outcry at Radio Jambo from presenters after the signing of Mbusi from Ghetto Radio. Mbusi is reportedly going to earn a whooping Ksh500,000. This is a massive pay rise from the KSh250,000 he was getting at Ghetto Radio.

The figure has shocked current Radio Jambo presenters who have struggled with the station since its inception. Already there are loud mummers and very soon there will be walkouts if the management does not balance the inequality. Currently, the highest paid Radio Jambo presenter earns Ksh150,000.

Mbusi will host the Drive Show previously hosted by Diamond Okusimba and Mzee Toldo whose fate is still not known. “Surely Patrick Quarcoo is this how you treat people who have worked hard for you and built your station to its current position 4 among Swahili stations,” inquires the staff member.

Girl Does Upside Down Splits During Dance Competition At The Demarco Concert! (VIDEO)

If you have ever watched Konshen’s video “Gyal A Bubble” then you know what I am talking about! This lass in question is just too many levels of professional when it comes to dancing the latest dancehall styles.

The lass was called on stage by Demarco to participate in a dance-off which featured some of his own dancers and this lass stood out like a sore thumb… Not because she sucked, au contraire! It was because of how good she was at pulling the dance I mention above.

The lass went as far as getting on her head and bubbling and at several points during her dance, she performed splits! And all this while upside down!

Seeing is believing, you now can watch the video of her performance here:

Now you’re up to speed. Stick around for some hot scoop coming up shortly.

But Alas! Reggae Events Attract Nothing But Ratchet People!

I am convinced now that no one but ratchet people attend Reggae events and I am sad about that! But don’t get me wrong, I’m not talking about the Tarrus Riley event because so far from the ticket sales Ghafla has transacted -that amount to 160,000/- worth- the tickets have been bought by upper echelon people. Real bourgeoisie and not that Twitter cabal loud mouth snobs.

And I have concrete proof. I was at a reggae event on Sunday where I was appalled at how ratchet the clientele was. And no, being able to buy yourself beer isn’t the threshold by which I determine ratchetness!

The crowd I encountered at Club Scratch were just uhm… At the risk of wearing this word thin with the number of times I have already used it; ratchet! The music was good, the DJ knows his stuff. The music was reminiscent to what my militant uncles used to play. And at their mention I must proclaim Igbo kwenu!

But right back to the lecture at hand. The lads at these events fall into either the ratchet hood rat category or the mature but scruffy type -black hippies. Both are just as bad. The younger however is always brooding and looking to instigate fight. And they act asthough they have never seen a woman. My date and chaperon (read guide) was a lovely lass called Lilly who was harassed to no end! Because nothing is as irresistible to a lass as a boy chest thumping because he can afford to buy 5 beers all night long and can’t take no for an answer. I had to physically shove about 3 silly hood rats off her.

Then the mellow more mature type. If it weren’t for their appearance, I’d love this type to death. They have the best commodity out of Shashamane that Huddah loves. Read about that here. But alas, they are unbelievably scruffy! They have this delusion that being scruffy is cool. If you were to walk out of the club in the company of this lot, you know for sure that you will be a target for needless police harassment!
But actually, come to think of it, that’s the only problem I had with this lot was the fact that they are poorly dressed.

And the women? Oh my word but that is an article for another day!

Photo Of The Day: The Gentleman Police Officer At Occupy Parliament

This image is courtesy of Standard Digital who capture this scene the Boniface Mwangi organized p[rotest against MPs intention to give themselves salary increments and is a depiction of the Kenya we want.

A Kenya in which police officers are mature and chivalrous and exercise restraint to the point where their interactions with members of the public, the people whom they serve are respectful and humane. This image has really tagged at the strings of my heart and I feel that it deserves to be the photo of the day. Check it out below:

Socialite Pendo Responds To The Rumour That She Asked Demarco To Impregnate Her!

There is a rumour going round that local socialite Pendo not only asked Demarco for a romp, but asked him to give her a baby. A rumour mind you and so I called up Pendo for a comment on the same and she obliged me.

She told me that the rumour is a blatant lie. While she did infact meet Demarco, it was at a public meet; a meet and greet of sorts in Hurlingham. That was that. The rumours that are circulating are vicious and she says that she is now becoming a scapegoat for people who want to have something to complain about.

She was at Oliech’s girlfriends party before getting to the Demarco concert and even at the concert, she hung out with her pals and left while Demarco was on stage. So disregard everything written up about her because it is all false.

You’ve heard it from the horse’s mouth!

Wyre & Alaine – Nakupenda Pia (HOT NEW RELEASE)

Alaine sings in Kiswahili on this new track with Wyre the Love Child.

Wyre had been on a recent visit to Jamaica where he was chilling with reggae greats such as Tarrus Riley and Alaine. It was rumored that Wyre and Alaine were working on a single, and as per usual, Ghafla! are the first to bring you the song.

Alaine sings the chorus in Kiswahili, saying, “Ooh my baby nakupenda pia, pia.” Find out how the team chemistry came through in this collabo by listening below:

Exclusive Images From The Just Concluded ‘Occupy Parliament Reloaded’

The Civil Society has just concluded staging the Occupy Parliament Reloaded protests demonstrating about the high pay rise of Kenyan Members of parliament. Unlike the previous protest, today’s has no live pigs but rather one huge pig dummy. The demonstrators have vowed to stay put at the entrance of Parliament till someone speaks to them.

The actvists have vowed to stage a similar demo until the Members of Parliament back down on their plans to review their pay perks upwards. Belows are the photos for the events as they unfolded;

Why Itumbi Is Suing The Government!

Dennis Itumbi, the man who recently won a landmark ruling against fellow blogger and erstwhile friend Robert Alai which could see Alai have to fork out 40 million to Itumbi is back within the corridors of justice and this time he is suing…

The Kenyan government! yep! He has initiated the process to sue Government for his arrest late last yeah which he feels was an illegal arrest.

This case could prove a major blow against ICC – ICC ruled last year that it had nothing to do with the arrest, by suing the Kenyan government, Dennis could actually be handing ICC the biggest blow ever, proving that they lied and that in fact they had everything to do with the arrest, hitting two birds with a single stone, that of exposing ICC and directing some dollars into his account.

Below is an excerpt from the demand note his lawyers have sent to the Attorney General Githu Mungai:

Attorney General of the Republic of Kenya

Re: DEMAND FOR INFORMATION IN RESPECT TO ARREST AND DETENTION OF DENNIS ITUMBI PURSUANT TO ARTICLE 35 (1) (a) OF THE CONSTITUTION OF KENYA 2010

We refer to the above matter and previous correspondences between your esteemed office, Counsel Nicholas Kaufman and Office of the Prosecutor (OTP) of the International Criminal Court (IeC). We have been instructed bv Dennis Itumbi (“our client”) to address vou as hereunder.

Kenyan Representative Annabel Mbaru Up For Eviction This Week!

The only Kenyan representative still in the Big Brother Africa mansion is up for eviction! And we cannot allow her an untimely exit. Not after the bar set by Prezzo. So Kenyans, it’s time to vote. Vote to keep Annabel in the house. And reach out to our Ugandan brothers to do the same.

Uganda doesn’t have a remaining contestant after the eviction of both LKF and Denzel therefore they should be feeling charitable with their votes and I believe Kenya should begin lobbying Ugandans for their votes.

And what about Tanzania? None of their representatives are up for eviction so they can be persuaded to get on our bandwagon. So spread the word far and wide. Vote to keep #TeamKenya, #TeamAnnabel in the BBA house for the win and more importantly, the money!

This Kid is Set To Revolutionize House Music in Kenya

After watching this kid’s video the first thing that came into my head was Swedish House Mafia’s “Don’t You Worry Child”. Not that he apes the deejay unit, no! his music especially his debut video can only be likened to that. Meet 19 year old Nellian James.

After sitting for his high school finals in 2011, Nellian headed straight to Fullhouse International’s music studio and worked on his music for about six months; a time he cites as a learning experience. While at Fullhouse, he did a couple of tracks but shelved them because they were not – in his opinion – “hit songs.” Finally, Fullhouse and the young artiste came together to engineer a song he approved as a hit – “Dance, Please.”

“Dance, Please” became Nellian’s debut single and was released at an official media launch on the 29th of August 2012 at Galileo Lounge, Westlands. The video for “Dance, Please” was shot live on location at Volar and was intended to embody the spirit of the song.

Ever introspective, Nellian saw himself as one of the fresh voices of the “new school” in Kenya. With musical influences like Lil’ Wayne, Michael Jackson, Big Sean, Justin Timberlake and E-sir, the young rapper was raring to take the Kenyan club scene by storm.

Here’s Nellian James performing his debut hit single “DANCE PLEASE”, a Fullhouse Music Kenya Video Productions directed by Helen Gebregiorgis.

{youtube}0XvpBqF3g5A{/youtube}

Nellian plans to focus on his music until he is not only on at the top of the Kenyan music industry but also well-recognized on the international music scene. “If I faced the wrath of my family for music, then no one can stop me from attaining the number one spot,” says Nellian James.

Why Kenzo Set The Celibacy Trend Among Celebs

Early in March when Ogopa’s Kenzo announced that he would be keeping off sex, many people, his fans included, thought that it was just a cheap attention-seeking stunt. In fact, some female fans even threw themselves at the ‘Mama Milka’ singer offering him free sex but Kenzo turned them down.

After so much rumour flew around about why Kenzo had chosen to become celibate, he emerged from his cocoon where he was following these hullabaloo keenly to clarify his no-sex stance. While many of his critics think Kenzo is pulling this stunt to remain relevant now that he has no new song out, two of his fellow musicians maybe, just maybe, were looking up to him.

First in line was Colonel Mustafa who declared that he has not been engaging in any coitus after a certain lady accused him of sleeping with her daughter. “If anything, I have not had sex for long as I have been practicing celibacy for a while,” declared Mustafa when speaking to Pulse. He later added, “I said I have opted to remain celibate for a while. There are many girls knocking my door, but my fear is that I don’t know who wants me only for good intentions. I am seeing someone…no…I am a man of many friends.”

However, Mustafa was later to be dogged by sex-related controversy in which he was accused by his girlfriend of enagaging in gay sex. Later, he was accused of a ‘hit-and-run’ incident by some chic known as just Beth from South C.

Another artiste who seems to have followed Kenzo down the celibacy route is Size 8. Immediately she gave her life to Christ, the ‘Mateke’ hit-maker declared that she will not be taking part in any sexual activity until she finds THE ONE.

So, going by that I can say that just like Nonini is the godfather of Genge, Kenzo is the frontrunner of celibacy among Kenyan artistes.

Maina Kageni Weighs In On The Kethi Kilonzo Senatorial Bid: “Her Mum Is Cockblocking!”

Maina Kageni got in his two cents about the Kethi Kilonzo senatorial bid and boy was he wordy. Maina weighed in on the fact that Kethi Kilonzo had expressed interest in the senatorial seat left vacant by her father’s untimely demise.

And Maina Kageni feels that the late Mutula Kilonzo’s wife who is Kethi’s step mother is cock blocking for the brilliant lawyer. Nduku Kilonzo -the late Hon. Mutula Kilonzo’s wife, Nduku has thrown her hat into the arena and is looking to contend for the seat in a bid to keep her late husband’s legacy alive and that would have seen her take on her step daughter but Kethi has stepped aside as political fights are a rather messy affair.

Maina Kageni Responds Bleakly To Clerics For Calling Him Out

But uhm… “cock blocking”? This led to a conversation about how step mother mistreat their husband’s children from an earlier relationship and I was left bemused by just how wrong the use of the term “cock-block” in a topic referring to a step mother and her step daughter is.
And I don’t think i’m the only one.

Occupy Parliament Reloaded: The 2nd Protest On Today!

Ladies and gentlemen, today is the 2nd Occupy Parliament protest led by renown photojournalist Boniface Mwangi who is trying to stop the current Members of Parliament from increasing their salaries and hogging -pun intended- the national resources.

The Members of Parliament whom he refers to as MPigs are threatening to hold the country hostage if they do not receive the remuneration they deem fit and Kenyans are appalled at the greed they have witnessed and that is what has led Boniface Mwangi to take this militant stance.

Today you can join the rest of the patriotic Kenyans at Uhuru Park at 12 noon and the dress code is: a white shirt and black trousers. Check out the list of people who were arrested at the last protest here.

Big Brother Winner Takes A Swipe At Celebs Who Buy Luxury Cars

The 2011 winner of Big Brother Africa Amplified, Karen Igho may have fame and more money but within her, there is something she nurtures that goes beyond material things. Former Big Brother Africa housemate Karen Igho from Nigeria, has taken to the social media to prove other celebrities as insignificant to buy the luxurious Bentley.

This is what she recently tweeted, “You go buy bentley come dey drink garri no be by force na.” “Hmmm nawa o this one dat everyone is buying Bentley abeg make I buy okada save my money  o u no fit sleep inside Bentley na.lol”

karen-tweet

Karen is fond of taking her frustrations online and most recently she so bitter about her single status and took to social media to display her deep thought about herself and men. Apparently, the Nigerian celebrity has been finding it difficult to attract the man of her dreams and it seems loneliness is eating her up. She has finally cried out to the guys.

Am sure you know about how she was assaulted and threatened with a gun by a club bouncer.

Gloria Muliro Sentiments About Sex & Love

Gloria Muliro is the newly crowned Female Artist of the Year during the just concluded Groove Awards and so when she speaks you’ve got to listen, yeah? The celebrated Gospel artist recently shared her sentiments about matters sex and love with her fans.

In the post, Gloria separates the wheat from the chaff by disregarding some of the deeply founded myths about love and sesx. Take a look;

Sex is NOT love. Love is not sex. You can have sex and not be in love. You can be in love and not engage in sex. A man may hate you and still have sex with you. Be wise. Using sex to manipulate a man will eventually fail.

It is self deception to think that giving him sex will make him love you. True Love will never force you to engage in sex. A man who doesn’t love you will not change his mind because o sex. If he tells you to ‘prove your love’ by having sex with him. He is only using you.

If he is in it for the sex, ‘better sex’ will take him away from you. Making yourself his ‘sex slave’ is foolish. Love will never shame or degrade you. If you have made the mistake of trying to use sex to buy this man, now is the time to re-assess your relationship and build it on the right foundation. If he gets married to you because ‘the sex is good’, it will be fatal to your marriage.

Let him get married to you because he loves you, honors you, feels a strong emotional, mental and spiritual connection with you and wants you to spend the rest of his life with you.

This post was overwhemlingly supported by her fans who flooded her timeline with positive feedback with some weighing in on the matter.

Yet Again K24 Poaches Top Citizen TV Journalist

The media war between President Uhuru Kenyatta-owned Mediamax Group and SK Macharia-owned Royal Media Services is far from over. After raiding Citizen TV and making away with some of its top journalists and most of the technical team earlier in the year, K24 is not done yet.

The latest to cross over from Denis Pritt road to Kijabe Street is Peter Opondo. Jackal News reports that Opondo resigned as Citizen TV’s Managing Editor to take up a new and more lucrative position as the General Manager in charge of broadcasting at Mediamax with K24 TV, Kameme FM, Meru FM and Milele FM under his watch.

Opondo re-joined Citizen TV from NTV-Uganda where he was the Managing Editor. He holds a Bachelor of Education in Mathematics and Economics from Moi University and has over the years gained loads of experience from working in media sector.A couple of days ago Citizen TV suffered another major blow when one’s of the hosts in its Breakfast Show, ‘Cheche’, Uduak Amimo left the station for greener pastures.

Ghafla! wishes him all the best as he takes up his new assignment.

Big Brother Update: Annabel Reveals To Biggie What She Worries Most About

Kenya’s only surviving representative to Big Brother – The Chase, Annabel Mbaru seems to be playing her card just right because so far she has not tasted nomination for a possible eviction and has also tried so much to steer clear of controversy after from THIS.

Well, yesterday, Anne had her chance to once again open up to Biggie after doing so the first time. During her diary sessio yesterday, she expressed her fears to Biggie and what she thinks of fellow housemates. Here’s how it went;

Biggie: Annabel Good day and welcome to your DS

Annabel: Good day Biggie. How are you?

Biggie: Any interesting event during the weekend?

Annabel: The party on Saturday, it was good getting out of the house

Biggie: How did you find last night?

Annabel: It was shocking to see people leaving. I didnt expect Koketso to go.

Biggie: How does it feel to never be nominated?

Annabel: It feels good but any day one can be on the block and I always expect.

Biggie: How do you relate the Diamond House to Ruby?

Annabel: Swapping makes it confusing as strong housemates are swapped

Biggie: What do you feel about the swapped housemates (Out going and incoming)?

Annabel: Beverly is cool and I like her. Biguesas is too quiet and reserved. It was shocking to see Elikem and Angelo. For Angelo it was a bit sensitive.

Annabel.jpg

Biggie: Any of the Housemates you miss the most?

Annabel: Maybe Angelo, he’s cool and we had started talking a lot

Biggie: How do you relate to your fellow housemates?

Annabel: I bring joy and am very social.

Biggie: Your relationship with Fatima?

Annabel: We are both are strong

Biggie: What Housemates make of intimidation?

Annabel: There is a lot of sucking up, and they sugarcoat illusions

Biggie: What worries her the most?

Annabel: My life in Big Brother House.

Biggie: Focus on the prize..

Annabel then asked Biggie about her bags as she wants to get her shoes , sandals among other personal effects.

Taking Part in Today’s Occupy Parliament Reloaded? Here’s What You Have To Adhere To

After the first Occupy Parliament protests ended prematurely when the police decided to unleash teargas to disperse protesters and locked up others before arraigning them in court, the organizers regrouped and came up with Occupy Parliament Reloaded to push their agenda.

As planned, the protests will take place today and one of the main organizers, photo-activist Boniface Mwangi has released ‘a code of conduct’ to be adhered to the latter by anyone willing to take take in the protests. Here is the 8-point set of rules;

Lovebirds LK4 & Koketso Having Fun in SA After Getting Kicked Out of Big Brother (Photos)

Last Sunday, curtains fell on Kokesto and LK4’s stay in Big Brother after the two housemates turned lovers were evicted from the competition. However, the eviction did not mark the end of their romantic affair.

Just day after their ejection from the house, the two were out and about in South Africa having the time of their lives together. Take a look;

Itumbi Sues The Govt, Case Could Deal A Major Blow To ICC

Blogger Dennis Itumbi is once again back to the corridors of justice. This time the blogger/ whistle-blower is suing the Government for the illegal arrests last year. Through his lawyer, Itumbi has written to the Attorney General demanding for information in regard to his arrest and detention.

This case could deal a major blow to the International Criminal Court (ICC) after it ruled last year that it had nothing to do with the arrest and categorically declined to award Itumbi any compensation. Itumbi strongly believes that he actually be handing ICC the biggest blow ever proving that they lied and that in fact they had everything to do with the arrest.

At the same time, the blogger is aiming at hitting two birds with one stone; that of exposing ICC and channeling some cash into his account through compensation.

In April this year, Itumbi won a suit against fellow blogger Robert Alai forcing Alai to compensate him almost KSh40 million. (Read about that HERE). For now, let’s wait and see if the Judicial system will award him the damages.

Uganda’s LK4 Brags About How He Can Make $300,000 in 3 Days; Gets Evicted The Next Day

They say pride comes before a fall and Uganda’s latest Big Brother ‘evictee’ LK4 aka Isaac Lugude AKA Prince of Uganda knows that too well right now.

Shortly after the Saturday Night party, LK4 cornered Ghana’s Elikem and told him about his detailed ‘Curriculum Vitae’. “I’m next in line to be King of Buganda and I can make the Big Brother prize amount in just three days,” bragged the Ugandan basketball player.

LK4 went on to tell Elikem why he was up for eviction saying, “The ladies have seen my monster in the shower room and they all want a share of it, that’s the sole reason I was nominated.” Seeing how LK4 was going on and on with this verbal diarhoea, his girl South African girl, Koketso asked him to shut up.

But he wasn’t done. His next victim was Natasha. The basketball star started off by asking her if she knew who his mum was in Uganda. “She is the most powerful woman in the country just in case you did not know,” showed off LK4.

Should we excuse him and blame it on the alcohol or this guy is just a braggart.

Ironically, LK4 alongside his sweetheart, Koketso of South Africa, became the second pair to be evicted last night from Big Brother Africa – The Chase.

It will be remembered that LK4’s ex-lover, Zari Hassan belittled Big Brother’s prize money saying it’s cash for small boys. Read about that HERE.

Demarco Prolongs His Stay In Kenya

News reaching us indicate that dancehall maestro, Demarco has decided to spend more time in our country. This news was broken by John Muchiri of The Buzz earlier today.

Upon further investigation I discovered that Demarco has decided to stay in Kenya because of the good food at the 5-Star, BEST WESTERN PREMIER Nairobi where he is currently staying! Just kiddin’. In a telephone interview with Kenyan Don (one of the organizers of the Demarco concert) he confirmed that Demarco has decided to prolong his stay because he wants to perform alongside Tarrus Riley and Alpha Blondy on June 15th at the KICC, Nairobi. By the way, we are selling the tickets at very BIG discounts here

Big Brother Update: Cleo & Hakeem Finally Lock Lips (Photos)

Theirs is a case of too close but too far. All was rosy between them until when Zambian beauty Cleo was separated from her Big Brother sweetheart, Zimbabwean Hakeem. However, the two on Saturday had brief reunion in the Arena and finally got to spend quality time in the Rendezvous.

At first, the two lovebirds seemed really shy and were afraid to even look at each other. However, once the yummy bubbly Big Brother had provided for the occasion had loosened them up a bit, it was all systems go. Hakeem took off his shoes and jumped on the bed in the centre of the gorgeous Rendezvous Room. Cleo followed suit and the two sat staring into each other’s eyes.

Hakeem opened up to his Zambian squeeze, telling her “You’ll always have me. I’ll always be there for you”. All Cleo could do was blush furiously at the compliments coming out of her beau’s mouth. At some point Hakeem told Cleo “I don’t want to hear any of this ONeal nonsense. I want to protect your heart”, he said. We wonder what Hakeem could have been referring to.

After a blissful hour of conversation, the two lovebirds ended their perfect evening with a passionate kiss. Take a look;

News: Cleo and Hakeem's first kiss!

Big Brother Update: Controversial Pokello and Elikem Get Close(r)

Controversial Zimbabwean housemate Pokello seems to have hitched with Ghanaian badboy, Elikem.

The Ghanaian Housemate has moved on quickly from his little flirtation with Malawi’s Fatima, only three days after being moved to the Ruby House. In the early hours of this morning, the serial bed hopper, decided to make a play for Pokello. He slid into her bed and woke her up for a sexy little chat. Pokello obliged and the two started whispering sweet nothing’s into each other’s ears.

Some of their fellow Housemates have started talking in hushed tones about the chemistry between Pokello and Elikem. Natasha, who is never afraid of a challenge, decided to confront Elikem and Pokello about their connection. “Pokello, you’ve changed so much since Elikem came into this House. All you used to do was sleep and now you’re up so late”, she said.

Daybreak: Pokello and Elikem get close

Pokello quickly dismissed Natasha and told her there was nothing sinister between herself and Elikem. Elikem is a bit of a smooth operator. He has flirted with almost every girl in the game but hasn’t tied himself down to one special girl.

In the first week of The Chase, he was Feza’s favourite bedmate. Last week, he and Fatima heated things up under the covers and this week, he and Pokello seem to be kick-starting something that will be talked about for a long time to come. Let’s not forget the undeniable chemistry he has with Selly. On Saturday night during the party, Selly poured a glass full of alcohol on Pokello’s head.

Citizen TV’s Johnson Mwakazi Confesses P0rnography Addiction

American Gospel musician Kirk Franklin and Citizen TV’s Johnson Mwakazi share one thing in common aside from being staunch Christians; addiction to p0rnography. Recently, Mwakazi came clean and confessed his addiction to p0rnography in an interview with Muyiwa Olarewaju, Turning Point’s host.

Here’s his confession;

Many Kenyans know my name; they know face, they know my voice, they know what I do. But to the rest of the world, let me introduce myself.  My name is Johnson Mwakazi. I am a television anchor here in Nairobi, Kenya, but my journey started here in Kibera.

“I was born in Kibera that’s where I have lived all my life.”

I grew up without a role model. My father was a drunkard. He lost his job and it was a tight moment especially for my mother, really trying to support the family at the same time working in town as a cleaner.

And living in a mud house, and of course no water – we had to buy. Just once a week –you take a bath once a week. When it came to washrooms or toilets, we had to go round and, of course, sometimes during the night it could be dangerous because you don’t know who you’re going to meet along the way, so you had to help yourself inside the house and probably in the morning try to sort it out.

I remember when I was 14, somebody introduced me to p0rn0graphy and that whole sequence began of desiring a feeling of pursuing something that you really never get to satisfy. I remember there were days I would move from one movie to another just seeking for a movie, a p0rn0graphic movie, and it totally disoriented my thoughts or my understanding of really my worth.

My mother took me to All Saints Cathedral.  It’s a church located at the city center. And people would wonder, “How do you live in a slum and you go to church every Sunday at the city center?” Which basically meant you have to pay your fare. But when I went there I was challenged and I came to realize that there was a different world out there, not just Kibera for me.

I came to give my life to Jesus when I was in secondary school.  Now one thing changed in my life, when I was still in p0rn0graphy and m4sturbation, it was basically a matter of, “I just hope nobody comes to the realization that I do this.”

But when I got saved I came to understand that it was wrong, that it was a sin against God and against my own body. And that prompted me to call upon God and really cry unto God, “God remove this, remove this from me.”

But God had to bring me to a moment of stillness. In my spirit I heard a very still, small voice saying, “I love you. I love you.” And that came as a powerful message into my life. And God was telling me, “I was with you every second of that life, I was with you. And even right now I am with you.”

I remember He told me, “Give it 3 months. It’s like fasting. Don’t go to certain places, don’t watch these things.” And most of the times I would go to church.  When it got to evening I would go home and I would be with my family.  Well, of course, later on there were times I went down again, but God didn’t come in like, you know, “What are you doing!”  It was a moment of, “Just get up, my son.  Let’s continue on with the race.” He was leading me on. And all the time when I felt I’m going to go down, I would say, “No, I can’t sin against my father who loves me.” It wasn’t like I can’t do this because I fear Him, but I can’t do this because He loves me.

There was this particular time I remember I was walking and I heard people making cheerful noises, and when I went there I realized it was a theater group, Kibera Community Youth Program, and so I joined it. And there was a time I was given a role, it was a skit I remember,  I was given a role as a narrator. So I narrated and after that, the facilitator of the program said, “Wow, you have a great voice.” And that really gave me that feeling that, “Hey, you have something to offer, something precious.” And that was actually the beginning.

Photo

God would wake me up at about 5:30 on a daily basis and I didn’t quite understand why. And He would cause me to sort of walk all the way up to this place. And when I got here, instead of working out my body, I would work on my voice.

Now I come — I’ve come to realize it was really at that process of fashioning me, because He knew where He was taking me. At that time I didn’t know, but now I look back and I see, “Wow, God was working with me.” God was working on my voice so that He would qualify me to occupy that space in the media world.

Anytime I think about where I came from, I look at myself putting on these good clothes, and I have this publicity when I walk down the streets people are saying, “Hey, Johnson. Hey!” Everybody now knows me. And I remember where God took me. It gives me an opportunity to humble myself, to humble myself. And just as Christ said, “If you humble yourself you will be lifted,” God will lift you up.  That opportunity to humble myself, God uses to teach me His ways. That at the end of the day when glory is given, I say, “Not unto me, oh Lord, but only to you.” And I realize my purpose, that I was created to reflect the Glory of God.

CONFIRMED: Mbusii Has Left Ghetto Radio For Radio Jambo!

There have been rumours circulating that have indicated that Mbusii, the radio maverick discovered by Mwalimu Rachel before she left for HBR has left Ghetto Radio. And I can now confirm that the rumours are true.

Mbusii is no longer at Ghetto Radio and he is now headed to Radio Jambo along with his manager and close friend Lion-deh. The pair have been head hunted in hopes that he can replicate his winning formula that saw his drive show win accolades and awards.

For all his die hard fans this move will come as a shock as the diminutive radio personality’s name was synonymous with Ghetto Radio. But fret not, he will soon be coming through your speakers, just from a different frequency. Mbusii will now be hosting the 3-7pm show on Radio Jambo

We here at Ghafla wish him success in his new venture.
