So Huddah Claims Prezzo Is Broke? How When He Can Afford To Wear Clothes Worth 139,809 KSHs (PHOTO)

Prezzo has always been that guy. He is the one individual i have always known never to disappoint in as far as his fashion linguistics go; haute couture tongue twists. I recently did a piece in which I told all of Kenya about his fancy for designer shirts and it is time to talk about the day he stepped out in clothes worth 100,000+ Kenya shillings.

Aye, you read right niblings, Uncle Chim Tuna didn’t stutter and neither should you. Prezzo stepped out in clothes worth 139,809/- to be exact. How? Well, lets first take at look at the clothes themselves:

The Givenchy leather long sleeved t-shirt alone is worth a whopping damn near whimsical figure of 1,250USD! (105,916 KShs)

The 18K Versace Medusa belt is worth 400$! (33,893 bob)

Let’s not even discuss the gold Jesus piece necklace!

Grand Pa Records Gearing Up For New Video. Check Out The Behind the Scenes Pictures Here (PHOTO GALLERY)

Grand pa records is one of the bi8ggest record labels in Kenya at the moment and with good reason. the company has been unleashing hit after hit and has turned the artists on their roster into some of the biggest household names in the country.

To be honest, the 1st “Fimbo” they did was a miserable miss. It was actually how you would expect Fernando Torres to sound infront of a microphone. But Refigah went back to the drawing board and crafted yet another “Fimbo” that showed sure evolution from past mistakes.

They have never looked back ever since and have been unstoppable. They are now working at wrecking your amplifier with their latest jam “Shangwe”. And the video was recently shot and I have the behind the scenes pictures. Enjoy:

Victoria Kimani is just one of three siblings -scions of Kimani Snr who has branched into entertaining Kenyans and all at their specific times dominated the Kenyan entertainment scenes. Victoria Kimani’s time is now what with her nomination for a CHOMVA Award.

The lass was recently at a photoshoot which I must say shows off her titillating thighs rather well. And I got my mitts on the picture and I feel obliged to share with you what came out of the photoshoot.
I must first however say that I like the background which shows off Kenya’s savannah with the hot African sun in the horizon. what’s not to like?

Emmy Kosgei The Village Girl: She Shows Off Her Traditional Clothes (PHOTO)

Emmy Kosgei wed Apostle Anselm Madubuko in what observers swear was an opulent occasion ochestrated to celebrate love. I am happy for the lass. She was looking good playing a role that hopefully only happens once in a lifetime: the blushing bride.

And the thing about her marriage is that she married a Nigerian televangelist and we all know Nigerians penchant for pompous clothes -that means flashy clothes nibling. And indeed there were pictures that were on Ghafla that had Emmy in resplendent robes but have you seen her in Kalenjin traditional clothes?

No? Well, neither had I until today and so I decided to share the picture I found of her in traditional Kalenjin regalia. Check her out below:

Female Rap Sex Symbol Xtatic Shows Off Her Cute Daughter (PHOTO)

Xtatic, one of Kenya’s most prolific emcees also happens to be a sex symbol. and when I say that, I am sure that the first thing that pops into your mind is Marylin Monroe aye? Nay! She was just a junkie that slept around. When I say sex symbol, I mean a mother of one who has somehow managed to maintain a sexy physique.

anyway, the lass whose pictures I have posted on several occasions recently posted a very cute picture of her and her daughter and even though I am as cold as a penguins posterior, I couldn’t help but let one “Aaaw!” escape from my lips.

But worry not, I quickly caught myself and covered up my pantaloons. Anyway, away from my exposed provocative pantaloons and back to the cute picture:

Esther Arunga-Timberlake Gains Massive Weight (LATEST PHOTO)

Celebrities are always expected to stay in shape. While most of them go through strenuous workout regimes to be on the skinnier side, sometimes they face slip ups and tend to gain a few pounds; this mostly faces celebrity moms especially those of child-bearing age.

So, last Friday, Larry Madowo hosted Esther (Arunga) and Quincy Timberlake from Melbourne, Australia via Skype where they talked about what they are up to now, their political plans and if they are keeping in touch with family. However, you could help notice how much kilos the former news anchor has piled on.

Take a look;

Popular Comedian Goes Missing

Even before Jackal News managing editor, Bogonko Bosire, and Citizen TV video editor, Paul Kimita, are traced, yet another illustrious Kenyan has gone missing; not to be traced one week later.

‘Sugarcane warrior’, funny man, and all round awesome guy Arnold Lakita Mwashumbe aka Arnie/Arnimal is missing. He’s been missing for more than a week now. He is 38 years old and works at Cheil Advertising Company.

He was last seen on 16th November at Hilton CBA Bank at around 8pm wearing a black shirt and blue jeans and current whereabouts are still unknown.

He is like one of those eclectic personalities out there….he loves comedy, music, used to sing in a band just for kicks, loves drawing, traveling, clubbing, painting and writing. Arnie is the brains behind “MKUU” a comic book whose concept was conceived by a young kid who sadly passed away before finishing it so Arnie is carrying on the legacy.

If you have seen him kindly contact 0722518240 or 0721101627.

Photo of the Day: This is What Will Happen When Televangelists Are Given AK47s

Recently a section of Christian leaders now wanted the government to give them firearms to protect themselves. The religious leaders said they are tired of lip service and now want action from the government.

But just what might happen if the televangelists are given licence to possess AK47s? Celebrated illustrator, Bwana Mdogo, seems to have an idea. Take a look;

Don’t Blame Maina Kageni Blame His Foolish Women: Former Gospel Show Host

Maina Kageni & his co-host, Mwalimu King’ang’i are more than Nairobi’s most widely listened-to talk-radio hosts. Their morning show on Classic 105 is known for tackling the most controversial topics that most people want swept under the rug. Maina’s show has received a lot of backlash in the past but that’s nothing compared to the very latest.

Nappy haired and bubbly former NTV’s Crossover 101 host, Patrick Viyerrah, who now writes for The People, today defended Maina in his article in the Woman Essence column. In the article titled, ‘Maina Kageni and his army of foolish women’ Viyerrah says, “Maina has been blamed for everything wrong with the decaying moral standards. I am writing this in his defense. In fact this man has brought out the real devil in the detail, a seriously dark heart embedded in the diehard womanfolk that follow his show religiously.”

This after some guys on Facebook called for Maina’s gagging after some lady called in claiming that she tortured her husband’s son by scalding his private parts with boiling water. Now she calls in with no regrets even though the boy cannot have an erection or sire kids.

Viyerrah acknowledges that it’s the women who call in are the problem. “Let’s face it, women are becoming flimsier by the day. No matter what men do, somehow, they will find a reason to pout and revenge must be sought for every minute wasted unhappy. The new age woman is so dangerous we are all in deep ish.

However, he partly points the accusing finger at Maina by saying, “Prudent women are fast becoming extinct and Maina Kageni is just making the process faster.”

Do you agree with him?

Emmy Kosgei Fully Embraces Nigerian Culture(Photos)

When it comes to rocking traditional attire Gospel singer Emmy Kosgei is the queen. From rocking traditional Kalenjin ensembles to looking fabulous in customary Igbo attire, the Lady has done it all.

It seems that the singer might have had a Sunday wardrobe overhaul and  dropped her signature   sleeveless dresses paired with baby locks and a headband to  adopt a new look. Whether she has fully embraced the Igbo women’s attire or not Mrs Madubuko’s Sunday look certainly suits her

Ghafla! Exclusive: Tanzania’s Mr. Blue Calls out Willy Paul for Ripping off Bongo Songs Live on Air (AUDIO)

Stealing is wrong…I think we all know that. But it’s especially wrong when a totally famous musician steals from a lesser known artist and has an excessively HUGE hit from that theft. While we all agree that every artist “steals” a little, whether they realize it or not, basing huge chunks of their careers on thieving is totally unacceptable.

Well, over the weekend, R&B and Bongo Flava crooner, Mr. Blue accused Gospel artist, Willy Paul of being a thieving bastard. It all started on Q FM (94.4) on Miondoko ya East Afrika hosted by the talented Rynoh every Saturday afternoon. Willy Paul allegedly jacked Belle 9’s tracked titled, “Masogange” which has been widely compared to his catchy breakout single, “Rabuka” and most recently, “Rabuka” which was released late last year.

Speaking on air, Mr. Blue was vexed by Willy Paul’s actions of ripping-off the song. Here’s an excerpt of that;

Rynoh: Huyu kijana wetu mdogo Willy Paul wamjua vipi?

Here’s the entire recording;

Over the weekend, KTN reached another milestone when its Facebook page hit one million ‘LIKES’. The authoritative channel even went on to declare in its bulletin, “KTN’s Facebook page becomes the first to hit the one million followers mark in Kenya!”

KTN now joins the million league. Smirnoff Kenya has 10,000,000 LIKES; 10 times of what KTN boasts of. Formed in 2011 (3 years after KTN’s) this silent giant has been slowly amassing the ‘LIKES’ and as at when this article was published, the Official Smirnoff Kenya Facebook page had 10,220,169 with 130,310 people talking about it compared to KTN’s 102,408.

 Smirnof.jpg

However, credit must be given where it’s due. KTN is officially the first media house to hit the million mark. The Standard Group TV station also beats Smirnoff Kenya at the number of new ‘LIKES’ per week. While Smirnoff Kenya’s stands at 3,707 for the past week (16th Nov – 25th Nov), KTN is at a whooping 22,910 ‘LIKES’ per week alone!

Don’t Get Lost. Here Are the Directions To Liddos Club

We’ve gotten a few inquiries about where Liddos Club is. Surprisingly, mostly from chicks.

Which could only mean one thing: most guys already know where Liddos is. Anyway, here is how you get to the club.

Well, Liddos is on Keekorok Road, which is off Kilome Road, which starts from the Khoja Roundabout on the Roast House side.

So, lets start again, in reverse. From Khoja Mosque, face Roast House (the green building) and go down Kilome Road. Right after Roast House the road starts sloping down. Wachana nayo! Take the road to the right and look out for Liddos to the right of the road, it’s not far down.

Of course all this is for Red Wine Unplugged, which takes place every Wednesday from 8.00 p.m. till dawn. At the event, customers get to enjoy discounts on selected wines and vodka throughout the night with special offers for groups.

The club has also introduced the Tasting Bar where clients are introduced and educated on drinks that they might not know about yet by a team of well-trained staff. The club also offers secure parking with diligent attendants, thorough security checks at the entrance, state of the art lighting and sound systems.

Find a map to the place below.

In Case You Missed: ‘House of Lungula’ Actor Proposes to Girlfriend at the Premiere of the Adult Movie (PHOTO)

Sue had already told you about this earlier HERE but I’ve just stumbled upon a photo from the enchanting moment.

So this is how it happened: As Gerald Langiri took the podium to give a vote of thanks to the audience, he dedicated his achievements to his girlfriend Lynn Jumba whom he has dated for five years.

“I want to thank my gal for seeing me grow from the first time I started out in the acting industry to the celebrated actor I have become today. Thank you Lynn for always being by my side and encouraging me to carry on,” he said before this correspondent interrupted him:

“Five years! What are you waiting for, marry her!” she uttered.

“Actually, you are right, I think it’s about time,” he said as he went down on one knee and the audience went wild. Screams and cheers filled the air as the paparazzi shoved each other to capture the moment.

Youthful Nairobi Politician Brian Weke Blasts ‘The Nairobian’ For Referring to Him as an “Eligible Bachelor”; Considers Filing a Lawsuit

In today’s edition of The Nairobian there is a lifestyle feature dubbed ’10 Most Eligible bachelors’ in which various popular celebs were featured. Among them was youthful politician and Programme’s Director at The CRADLE, Brian Weke.

The Nairobian had alleged, “Weke loves beauty that has something between the wig, weave, cornrows or coiffed hairdo… Though still in the market, Brian Weke is currently in a very steady relationship with, you guessed it, a lady lawyer. Indeed, the only non-lawyer is the baby mama of his 11-year old daughter.”

This irked the former Embakasi West aspirant on an ODM ticket who threatened a law suit on the Standard Group publication blaming it saying, “Wanatakakuvunja nyumba”.

In a Facebook post, Brian, hit out at the tabloid and maintained that he’s not a bachelor.

“It has come to my knowledge that The Nairobian apparently claims am an eligible bachelor.. I am not eligible neither am I a bachelor.. Wanatakakuvunja nyumba…. Should I institute a libel suit against them?

Nonini’s Colour Kwa Face Now Supported By The Embassy Of Botswana

From successful charity events to African Musical Legend Salif Keita supporting him,the Godfather of Genge, has received massive support for his Colour Kwa Face project. The support for his campaign does not stop there.

In an event called ‘Joy of Jazz: South Meets East’ concert in Nairobi, hosted by the Embassy of Botswana, a large part of the proceeds were dedicated to the Colour Kwa Face Foundation.

Speaking to the Star Newspaper the obviously elated musician said “We are ever humbled when we get such well-wishers come on board. We don’t go knocking for doors but they are always coming through to assist. We highlighted the plight of people living with albinism and we can never thank enough all those who have shown concern and came in aid of these people. We really appreciate.

The organization has been working against stigmatization of people living with albinism and is currently working on an event that will see a large number of people living with albinism get sunscreen lotion. The event will be held on New Year’s Eve and Kenya’s musical bigwigs will perform.

“We deemed it right to organise a celebration day for them as a gesture of love and care. These people continue to be stigmatised and all we are supposed to do is to show them love and concern. After all, #WeAreOne,” Nonini said.

“I’m a Devil Worshipper” Declares Upcoming Artist

We are back again at this. With so many conspiracy theories flying around about some of the renowned celebs in the world being in freemason, rumours on this subject are plentiful on the Internet, though they are based on very doubtful ‘evidence.’ While it’s true that devil worshippers are everywhere it’s not entirely true that all successful celebs are devil worshippers.

With said, an upcoming Kenyan artist has emerged to claim that he worships the devil. Dree Cee alleges that he worships the devil and loves him a lot. Dree says that he is ready to let the world know that he is in freemason and not ashamed of it.

“My songs get airplay in USA, Canada and S.A. and that’s through devil”, he discloses.

The upcoming artist even reveals his god’s name and reveres him for the fame.

“…because Dante my lord make us famous.” (never mind that Dante is a fictional character in a popular video series)

After Being Stalked By Controversy, Shavey And Slice Of The ‘Gyal’ Fame Split

When I first heard the Shavey and Slice club banger, Gyal,I knew that whoever had discovered the two boys had hit a goldmine as dynamic duo was unbelievably talented. A few years on, these two promising lads seem to have petered out of existence.

As their hit ‘Gyal’, continues to rock clubs, the duo has been nowhere near the limelight to bask in glory. In almost any press mention, the duo has served as an ever available classic example of grace to grass, submerged in drugs and hustling to make ends meet, even with a hit that topped charts in Jamaica.

The group however got a new lease of life when they signed up a manager to chart a way forward on a comeback. They then released a Ugandan style track Bayuda, which though experts argued was far from what their fans expected, continues to receive mild airplay.

As the group started to regain fans’ confidence, it was however difficult to get shows, as there was always negative publicity dogging one half of the duo, Shavey. This held the group back and the other half of the group, more passive and mellow voiced Slice, was not comfortable with the negative publicity, as he felt it was holding back his career.

After consultations with the Manager, it was advised that the group remains available for any joint shows as Shavey n Slice but rediscover their individual potentials temporarily as each regains public confidence. They have now aggressively embarked on solo projects, with Slice having released a single.

In an apparent announcement of his comeback, in the new track “Jipange”, Slice advices his detractors to ‘Jipanga’ as he has to win his war against them. He also declares his duty is to set dancehalls ablaze as he is the one with the lighter!  He requests that the way be cleared for him and that he is sure that even Cindy, Avril and Wahu will sing along to this.

Save for the Kiswahili word “Jipange”, many are bound to float on the Jamaican  pidgin that Slice is well known for, just like they did in the track Gyal which took many time to realize the artistes were Kenyan.

Produced by Sawaz Media, the track is bound to reignite the local dancehall passion of club goers and complement the upcoming and existing dancehall artistes, in a move that will make Kenyans have a variety to choose from. Listen to it embedded below.

Once Shavey completes his recordings, the deep voiced “King of Rhythm” shall make it known to his fans that he is all he needs to make their club patronage memorable.

Photo of the Day: Legendary Oliver Mtukudzi Out on a Date with a Top Female Kenyan Artist

Celebs are just like you and I, except for the rich (am not so sure about that) and famous thing. There are rare moments in the celebrity world where we get to see them simply acting like human beings. It’s as if the cameras are shut off and they can simply be themselves for a while.

Recently, husky voiced Zimbabwean legendary musician who has earned a devoted following across Afrca and beyond, Oliver ‘Tuku’ Mtukudzi, was in Kenya where he was spotted out on a date with fast-rising singer, Sage, and even sang for her! Take a look;

After Being Dissed By KOT,Miss Tourism Kakamega Unleashes Her Sexy Side (Photos)

About a month ago, Kenyans on Twitter viciously attacked Miss Kakamega County over not having what it takes to be Miss Kakamega, ‘beauty’.

What most of these shallow people do not know is that the typical pretty girl next door look rarely cuts it in the modeling world. Look at supermodels such as Kate Moss, Alek Wek, Ajuma and former America’s Next Top Model,Azmarie Livingston.

What do they all have in common? Their look is different from the typical pretty girl look. If there is something I have learned from watching way-too-many model scouting show such as Scouted and America’s next top model is that most of the time the prettiest girls do not cut it in the ‘high fashion’ world, it is the ones that many under estimate who do. So guys chill on the hating, give Miss Ida a fighting chance and quit being so judgy!

Here is Miss Ida looking very good!
