Kris Eeeh Baba is one of the gospel artists that I feel is highly underrated. I cannot get beyond the fact that someone as talented is so under appreciated. His workrate is something that truly impresses me and his style of flow is unique. something unlike any I have ever seen before.

As a performer, being booed off stage can be one of the most awful experiences ever. And sometimes it does not stop at booing, bottles of urine and shoes are one of the items that can be tossed at you.
Njoro,a 24 year old comedian famous for his Churchill Show performance had such an experience recently , he got jeered off stage but at least they did not fling bottles of urine or shoes at him. The reason for such a violent reaction from Kenyans who are devotees of the Churchill show was unknown, but the comedian was left laughing at his own jokes last Tuesday at Tribeka.

CNN through its correspondent, Nima Elbagir, established that the militants branched off from government roads into ‘panya’ routes that are hacked out of the undergrowth that are used by smugglers to cross back and forth between Kenya and Somalia undetected.
‘Panya’ routes are certainly a smoother ride than the official roads and in spite of the Kenyan government’s efforts to beef up border security after the Westgate Mall attack, the CNN team comes across zero government presence as they cruise down the trail and even managed to enter Somalia from Kenya without showing any ID, without going through any checkpoints, and without going through any kind of a security process.

Of late, Journalists in Kenya have been vanishing mysteriously. After Bogonko Bosire of Jackal news disappeared without a trace a Citizen journalist has also dropped out of sight.
Video editor, Paul Kimita disappeared without a trace on 13th November this year and nine days on, he still cannot be found. It is said that he worked the night shift and was seen for the last time leaving Citizen’s studio at 9a.m after the morning editorial meeting. He was headed home but his neighbors claim that he never made it home

It seems that the extreme militant group, Al-Shabaab is not yet done with Kenya.Barely a few months after the gruesome Westgate attack that claimed the lives of 67 people including Radio Africa’s Ruhila Adatia-Sood, the group has promised more attacks.
In a publication of their jihadist magazine Gaidi Mtaani,the al-Shabaab top commander Ahmed Abdi Godane is quoted saying that “Kenyans are in for the long haul; the Westgate attack is merely the beginning of a long, gruesome war.”
They also go into great details to justify the Westgate attack as part of an Islamic payback due to the KDF’s presence in Somalia .
“The ever-growing list of atrocities committed by the Kenyan invaders against the innocent Muslims in both Somalia and Kenya justifies — as a retaliatory measure — the Westgate attack,” the bi-lingual magazine read
The sordid threats continue “It seems that it will take more — much more — than just Westgate to get the message across,Kenyans should therefore brace themselves for more attacks, more blood, more gruesome days and more sleepless nights.”

Classic 105’ Ciku Muiruri’s sexual shenanigans continue for the second day straight. Just hours after the controversial radio host openly drooled over former hunk Presidential candidate, Ciku was on the loose yet again.
At 4AM this morning, Ciku took to her Facebook page and posted something that’s gonna be on the lips of many for a very long time. In April, Moha’s “Jicho Pevu” busted (pun intended) frolicking with the infamous Artur brothers with the Social Media running amok.
Anyhow, in her update earlier this morning, Ciku denied ever romping with either of the Armenians. She said;
“I have to be clear, seeing as my sex life is of so much importance to so many. No, I did not sleep with any of the Armenians. Yawn, I had to be professional, yawn, blah, blah… But! He also runs The Dreams Campaign which deals with gender violence, child molestation and empowering the African child. This year, he dominated the charts with his hit single, Ligi Soo famously prominently featured the likes of Jay A, Mejja, Chiwawa, Madtraxx, Petra, Shikow Femi 1, Raz, Lyraoko in the remix.
The 2013 edition of Sepetuka takes place on Saturday, November 30th at The Carnivore grounds. With over 25 participating deejays from all over the world and various local artistes playing a variety of genres, this will certainly be a crowd-puller.
The event will feature a rich mixture of entertainment including dance arenas, live acts, new age lighting shows and an incredible atmosphere. With the line-up, you can see that there is something for everyone.

The second edition of the PSV Motorshow & Nganya Awards is going down this Sunday at the KICC and there are two categories you just to check out.
The Grand Entry (A11) and Best Overall aka Kenya 1 (A17) are the two most highly anticipated categories in the upcoming awards, which seeks to celebrate the best in Kenyan public transport.
Last year saw the winner of the Grand Entry award bequeathed the prize after the matatu showed up at the KICC while being pulled by a Hummer. By the time the award starts, the votes are in and the fate of most of the matatus is sealed. But in the Grand Entry category, that’s where they can outshine each other on site.
The Best Overall (Kenya 1) category is most sought after prize in public transport. The award is given to the matatu that has proven that it is undoubtedly the best in the entire country. It could be down to looks, loudness or just how the public’s perception of the crews. Check the other categories below and vote.
The celebration of Kenya’s vibrant public transport culture takes place this Sunday, 24th November at the KICC Grounds between 10.00 a.m. and 6.00 p.m.
Voting for the awards will exclusively be carried on the Safaricom network, which is also giving voters a chance to win airtime simply for voting. Amount to be won ranges between Kshs. 100 and Kshs. 1,000.

Since the inception of Wakilisha East Africa by the talented and celebrated radio and TV host, Willy M Tuva, Tuesday is the new Friday. Wakilisha celebrates East African music as the hosts mingle with their fans and get to party together but outstandingly the gig connects celebs with their fans.
Tuesday night Wakilisha took over Nairobi again with an amazing party at Club Tribeka. Award-winning band, Sauti Sol staged an epic performance that left ladies screaming. Bongo was also represented as Fid Q and AY were in the house.

The Creatives Garage Sondeka Fest brings you Kenya’s only annual creative arts festival.
And with it comes lots of great events and activities for creatives and enthusiasts alike, one of them being the Floetry Mash-up.
The event goes down on the second day of the festival, 30th November, at the GreenHouse Mall on Ngong’Road between 2.00 p.m. and 4.00 p.m.
Floetry Mash-up will feature established and upcoming poets including Kenyan Science, Marcia, Tracy Michere, Kelvin Kaesa, Benson Kimani Teardrops and Jicho Pevu.
Sondeka Fest is a three-day creative arts festival which will go down at the GreenHouse, Ngong Road, between 29th November and 1st December.
The event is open to the public and will enable creative entrepreneurs to showcase and sell their goods and services, attract investment and develop new markets. It is also geared towards celebrating Kenya at 50. Thus the theme “Kenya At 50 and Beyond”.
Octopizzo is one of Kenya’s most prolific rappers of the moment and he doesn’t seem to be getting tired. What with all his engagements and his constant hot releases, the lad has vowed not to slow down. Octopizzo recently took to the studio promising hot stories.
Octo iussued a statement via instagram along with a picture in which he has basically put all rappers in Kenya on alert: up your game or get buried.

Kenyans will be among one of the first in the world to watch Hunger Games Catching Fire.
It will join the rest of the world as IMAX XX Century holds a midnight screening tonight for the world premier of the highly anticipated second installment of the film in the Hunger Games series.
Catching Fire will see the return of Jennifer Lawrence in the key starring role. Most of the stars from the first film are also returning, including Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Stanley Tucci and Donald Sutherland.
However, director Gary Ross has been replaced by Francis Lawrence whose work was previously seen on film (Constantine, I Am Legend), TV (Kings, Touch) and music videos for Daughtry, Beyonce, Britney Spears, Gwen Stefani, Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake among others.
The film is based on the highly successful and critically lauded Suzanne Collins trilogy of books. The films followi in the footsteps of the books, with this instalment currently holding a 95% score on Rotten Tomatoes.

Celebrity model and ‘Strut It Africa’ 2012 model Brian Frisby is dead.
The youthful model who appeared on ‘Strut It Africa’ last year, was involved in a car accident over the weekend and succumbed to the serious injuries he sustained in the crash. Ghafla! confirmed the news of Brian’s death with ‘Strut It Africa’ CEO, Moses Rnaze Mukiibi’s personal assistant.
The leading model management and fashion show eulogized Brian with a glowing tribute posted on its Facebook page.
