Kenyans on Twitter Go In H.A.M On Kiambu Governor William Kabogo, Put Him On Sale On OLX

Kenyans on Twitter can be a rather funny lot and on this one, I mean just that. Funny. They have turned their statirical sights solely upon Kiambu governor William Kabogo and they have decided to start a bid to have him impeached.

While the reason for the troll is still unknown to me, the chuckles the troll induces have become a mainstay in my ribs. Seriously though, my ribs are aching on this one. And this is what you can also laugh to:

Wonder why the price is set as negotiable. i can only wonder whether it is negotiable upwards or down.

Yet Another Hot City Club Shuts Down (Photos)

First it was Zeep that closed down, hot on the heels of Zeep’s closure was Riviera shutting down and now another popular hang-out spot has been shut down.

This is none other than club smooth whose insides have been cleared and the doors have been locked. It is unclear however, why the landmark restaurant is closing since it seemed that the restaurant was actually flourishing! The place’s setting and location was ideal and one was instantly charmed on entering the restaurant. It was a perfect place to chill out, the decor was beautiful and who can forget how convenient it was.

Nick Mutuma Is Back In The Studio Making New Music (PHOTO)

When Nick Mutuma dropped his first single, everyone loved it. No, seriously, everyone loved it. Then the video dropped and everyone and their aunties wanted to get a word in disparaging the effort. What do I think about the video? This isn’t about Uncle Chim Tuna. This is about Nick Mutuma.

Nick Mutuma decided disparaging words from tempestuous tongues would not bring him down. He went back to the studio and took Coola Gang’s Shukid along with him and they came up with something amazing.

Well, Nick Mutuma has decided to head back into the studio and he posted a picture of him putting in work in the producers section and I for one am looking forward to hearing what he will dream up this time. Watch this space:

Battle of Beauty & Brains: Who is Your Preferred Host for “Wedding Show”? (POLL)

Last weekend, the stunning Sarah Hassan took over the steering wheel at Citizen TV’s “Wedding Show” following the departure of Noni Gathoni. Meanwhile, the ‘queen of wedding shows’, Noni, officially joined the NTV, yesterday, in the most spectacular way: limos, wedding gowns and all.

However, it has been a smooth landing for the actress as she’s already faced disparagement from the most unlikely quarters: a KTN presenter. Besides there has been a raging debate on Twitter on who the better host for “Wedding Show” is considering both the ladies possess both beauty and brains.

So we are asking you, the fans, who do you think is the better host for “Wedding Show”?

Former BBA Housemate Beverly Osu Lands A Super-Lucrative Job (Photos)

She is without a doubt one of the most notable faces in this year’s edition of Big Brother Africa dubbed the chase .This is due to her distinctive look topped with a controversial and outspoken personality.

We watched her shenanigans with Angelo Collins, her heart wrenching stories about being battered by an ex boyfriend and her shocking confessions about being a hooker and aborting a four month old baby. Beverly has however decided to clean up her act and is now the face of a prestigious make-up brand called Prestige Cosmetics Nigeria. Here are the best glam shots of Beverly wearing the brand’s products.

Nonini And JuaCali When The Struggle Was Real !(Photo)

Gone are the days when we tucked our ratchet and or awkward photos under our mattresses .Nowadays we get to have a good laugh at them and at the same time relieve our youth thanks to Throwback Thursdays or TBT.

Throwback Thursdays is a recurring trend where everyone uploads photos of themselves from back in the day. I bumped into a photo of Nonini and Juacali and man the struggle was real!

KBC Can Now Heave a Sigh of Relief

State-run national electronic media broadcasting services provider can now heave a sigh of relief after Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero said that the State Broadcaster may not be auctioned after all.

Dr. Kidero had earlier threatened to drop the auction hammer on the State Broadcaster over a KShs.900 Million debt owed to the County in land rates, after the amnesty period that had been offered to defaulters lapsed.

“We will look at areas of barter in terms of services and areas of barter in terms of facilities and also areas of barter in terms of capital and resources that we hold,” said the Governor.

This deal was reached at yesterday after Dr. Kidero met KBC MD Waithaka Waihenya at City Hall and the two agreed that KBC will seek authority from the Ministry of Communication to liquidate or transfer its assets to the Nairobi County Government.

KBC is among the largest owners of land and assets in Nairobi County, a good number of which lie idle and unproductive.

Check Out DJ Kalonje’s Cute Baby Daughter (PHOTO)

In America, rappers conquer the streets with street albums called mixtapes. In Kenya, DJ Kalonje replicated the formular and locked down the streets through matatus. The lad made some mixtapes which were in every matatu and what he spun became a hit.

But beyond being a DJ who took over the street, the lad is a father. Check him out kicking it with his daughter below:

Meet The Lad Lucky Enough To Wake Up Next To The Sexy Female Rapper Xtatic (PHOTO)

Xtatic is one of the last few sexy women left around in Kenya’s entertainment scene. The lass takes care of her body and that is why she is always so sexy and toned. I was heartbroken to learn that she has a steady boyfriend.

I have done alot of talking about the lass but it was pointed out that i have never spoken about her significant other if indeed there is one. well, i dug around and found one. And my heart sunk down to where my knees reside. Some Lupe Fiasco for you.

Anyway, her boyfriend is a music video producer who goes by the name Mushking. Check the lad out below when the pair went down to S.A for the CHOMVA Awards:

Check Out Anitah Nderu And Her Beautiful Sister (PHOTO)

Anita Nderu is one of the most beautiful lasses we have in Kenya’s entertainment industry. And the lass made the switch from TV to radio, a move I felt was an error but time will tell. That said, I personally feel that you should never hide a face as beautiful as hers behind a radio speaker, it’s meant to be seen and appreciated by everyone.

That said, the lass recently posted a picture of her chilling with her sister and if you think Anita Nderu is a looker, then my friend you haven’t seen her sister. her sister is equally if not more beautiful. the picture I have is of them showing of their stunning bodies in fitting form flattering dresses and I couldn’t help but spend a few seconds of my life perusing over the pictures.

KBC’s Woes Deepen

KBC is without doubt a shadow of its former self. The media house’s woes started when it overthrown by other younger and fresher media houses and the latest hit is a staggering debt of 900m that they owe to Nairobi County.

Nairobi Governor Dr. Evans Kidero recently went to claim his pound of flesh and threatened to auction KBC’s assets if they wouldn’t have paid up the Sh900 million by last Friday.

Of course that was not possible but Dr. Kidero met KBC Managing Director Waithaka Waihenya and it was agreed that KBC will seek a go-ahead from the Ministry of Communication to liquidate or transfer its assets to the Nairobi County Government.

KBC’s MD Waihenya also requested Kidero to hold off the auction until KBC  manages to secure some money from the government to settle part of  the outstanding debt. “We are still awaiting a response from the government on these issues. In the meantime, I am appealing for your patience as these issues receive due consideration. The rates have been accumulating for many years and it will take time to settle it fully,” said Waihenya.

Gospel Singer Ringtone is a Very Angry Man. Find out Why

If his faith is not being questioned then his source of wealth is. However, Ringtone has always weathered the storms the best way he knows how.

Last Sunday, yet again, he was put on the spot on Facebook after someone (read hater) commented on his photo that his career is on the line for playing a central role in President Uhuru’s campaign team in the run up to the March polls.

An infuriated Ringtone used the same channel to respond to the guy saying he supported the President because he asked him to.

“I AM VERY ANGRY BECAUSE SOMEONE COMMENTS ON MY PHOTO AND SAYS BECAUSE WE SUPPORTED UHURU KENYATTA OUR CARRIERS ARE OVER. I DON’T SING FOR PEOPLE I SING FOR GOD. I SUPPORTED HIM AS A KENYAN AND BECAUSE HE PERSONALLY ASKED ME TO. KWANI IS HE EVIL NPAKA SUPPORTING HIM WE WILL NOW GO TO HELL. GIVE ME A BREAK.

Kenyans Viciously React To Kenya’s First Sex Comedy

Historia films took Kenyan entertainment to a whole new level by dropping the first sex comedy,House of Lungula. The comedy centers around Harrison Hamisi who is overworked and poorly paid and  is looking for bride price money.

A ‘business’ opportunity presents itself when he gets the keys to the Company House. With the CEO away on holiday, the mouse gets to play and access to a vacant fully furnished house is definitely a plus. He decides to cash in… Easy money doesn’t always come cheap.
The movie premiered recently and the reactions from a large number of Kenyans who I am sure have not even watched the movie were very mean.Have a look:

Kenmburu Kamauh This is totally a show that exhibits a lost country, what are out to show?why cant they think of something beneficial to all, please CCK step in.

Jane Wambui what a shame

Velmah Deey Agata round hii nikunoma, frm house of prayers 2 tha so called house of lungula. This r sm of tha signs of end of tha world.

Kenyans, lets pray for our country,,stil cant believe Kenya is unleashing such a movie,Kenya, really???our country needs genuine repentance,,may God have mercy on us.

Omuodo Georgez A new level of moral decay.

Liz Sø Blessèd Lol guka ya watu anafanya nn apo.IAN MBUGUA vaa nguo enda kwa bibi yako.

Hillary Kweyu Do You still need a PhD holder or am angel to tell you we’re in the age of “the New World Order ” , who’s the owner of Ktn , he must be sitting with satan at the same table . Anyway , Liberty , your own choice,

Aleks Omu io title jo,they shld have used some euphenism

In my opinion people should first watch the movie before judging it.Catch it tomorrow at 7.45 pm at Nakumatt a Junction cinemas at a throw away price of 350 for two tickets, then you can judge it.

Top Gospel Awards Organizer Calls On Divine Assistance To Him Clean Up The Gospel Industry

Gospel is a fragmented mirror. A cracked mirror if you will. And what happens to a mirror that is fractured? The picture is distorted. Quote uncle Chim Tuna on that one. And one very honest gospel fraternity insider has decided that he has had enough. This is not what gospel is about. Gospel is about the love of Jesus Christ. Not loyalties.

I honestly and earnestly take my hat off for Didiero, the C.E.O of Mwafaka awards. He is taking a stand and doing so with love. For long the allegations of there being an existence of “camps” and “mafias” in gospel music seem to have alot of credence and Diedero has bravely stood up to fight it.

This is what Diedero told Ghafla!Kenya:

Didiero, organiser of Mwafaka Awards is unhappy with some infighting he has noticed in the gospel industry
According to him, young DJ groups have started segregation. They have Blacklisted old artists from their playlists.
They don’t want to play songs of veterans yet the veterans are the ones who fought for gospel music to be recognized
He says that its artists like Zaidi ya mziki and Jimmy Gait walitufightia and they wouldn’t be happy with this situation
U can mention the name
Didiero wants to start a campaign of unity in gospel music

Senator Mike Sonko in a Hot New Rap Song

One of the most common ways to win the hearts of fans is by associating yourself with something they already know and like – a song, for example, or a famous person. Sometimes this works, but other times it can backfire pretty hard. That said, flamboyant Nairobi Senator, Mike Sonko, is in a new track released a couple of days ago.

‘Mike Sonko’ by Shatzy K Feat Shukid emblems what Nairobi Senator embodies that other leaders don’t. “A man who tirelessly helps Kenyans regardless of creed, colour, region, race, religion, tribe and other differences that cause conflict amongst Kenyans,” says Shatzy adding, “This is positive music that sends an appreciation message for the good work that our senator does.”

Shatzy K, born Robert Kubai Wangai, grew around music and started experimenting with music in his early age after gaining inspiration from rappers n singers alike he started participating in school music clubs and rapping to his friends.

Collo, AY, And Lady Jaydee Before The Fame And Glamor (PHOTO)

Lady Jaydee,AY and Collo are now some of the biggest artistes in the  East African entertainment world. They are invited to the exclusive parties, release hit after hit, rock expensive couture and ride flashy cars.

But long before they reached the top, long before all the glitz and glam and red carpet moments they had to start from somewhere. They started from terrible hair styles, awkward suits and fashion faux pas.
