Celebrated artist Juliani has finally released his much awaited third album, Exponential Potential. Juliani marked the release of the 12-track album by conducting a signing session at the Orange Mega Shop (GPO) yesterday.

The telecommunication services provider will also help in distributing the album across the country exclusively through its 35 flagship outlets. The album is retailing at Ksh500.

“One of the biggest challenges in the music industry is the marketing and distribution of an album after a release,” said Juliani. “This partnership with Orange is therefore great for me since my fans will get to know where exactly they can get my album.”

Juliani will be conducted the album signing sessions with Orange T-Mall Shop lined up for June 28th. Other signings will be at Orange outlets in Thika, Nakuru, Eldoret, Kisumu and Mombasa.

Some of the songs in the album include MH370, Morio and Juliet, Masterpiece and Shuka Roho, in which he has featured LC, Mr. V, Thee MOG and Saint P.

The campaign will also employ heavy digital engagement via social media platforms, as the two entities seek to better engage with a key target niche – the youth. This is a population segment that is always connected to the Internet and one that accesses social media platforms, streams and downloads music videos through multiple smart devices.

Days after Groove Awards 2014, the biggest awards ceremony is still eliciting mixed reactions. After former Crossover 101 presenter, Patrique Viyerrah, weighed in on winners of the night, different opinion is still being received.

Fast-rising Gospel singer, Bonny Mosh has also broken his silence about a section of Groove Awards 2014. The ‘Father God’ singer congratulated all the Groove Awards winners but had special message for Pitson and Hopekid.

So, with the approach of Father’s Day, I have been doing a series of stories celebrating the journey that is fatherhood, this week I want to focus of two people. the first of whom is DJ Creme. DJ Creme recently had a son whom he has been celebrating and I wanted to have a sit down with him for him to tell us about his journey into fatherhood. This is what he had to say:

 

 

“ The walk through this road of father hood has been the best journey I’ve ever traveled. Its been enlightening, its made me a 1000 times better than i was before my son Jamari came through. See, you’d never believe in unconditional love until you get a son who you’d literally do anything for. Ive learnt to cherish every moment with my son, watching him grow, being there to see his first moments in every thing he does. My schedule gets crazy but i always make time, we connect and i know we’ll be the best of friends when he’s all grown and can understand the world around him. I’d never trade being a dad for anything. I wanna be the best dad there is…its a beautiful thing!! 

I wrote something for jamari before he as born and i thought id share….

I know you will dream and achieve mighty things. I know that you will envision greatness. Greatness comes with an abundance of blessings. Money and power are such..My son, I’ll be truthful, both are sweet, addictive..almost unforgettable.

But take heed, they have destroyed even the strongest at heart. In everything, humility. Never detach yourself from the humble self…such will blow the many winds of prosperity and long life your way.

My son, everything I have written is from the heart and I want you to do it better even than your father did. Ive never doubted it even for a second, I know you shall be great among men..loved and adored by the world.

I can’t wait to see the look on your face as you open this letter some years to come. I’ll be there to hold and hug you, to pat you on the back telling you that the best is yet to come, the good tidings limitless.

 

Your mother and I will always be there, the three of us, laughing and dancing through life. We shall be there to paint your world with beautiful colors. We shall be there to make your life an unforgettable story.

underprivileged students. The beneficiaries of the last two charity concerts were Thika School for the Blind and Dagoreti Special School.

Apart from partnering with like minded individuals and organizations on different charity causes the foundation raises support from well-wishers and manages the funds under the David Muthengi Foundation Trust Fund to pay school fees for underprivileged students, purchase learning materials for needy schools and to provide pocket money to disadvantaged students so that they can study comfortably. The young Gospel star dusted off the outfit during this year’s Groove Awards where he was crowned Male Artiste of the Year.

Trivial as it seems, Bahati’s fans were all over his timeline asking to know why he recycled the same clothes he had at Groove Awards last year.
