5 Things You Probably Didn’t Know About Kenya’s BBA Contestant Alusa #BBAHotshots

Going by the look of things in the house right now, Alusa has come off as Go getter; Alpha male and cocky if the whole incident with Tayo is anything to go by. I like him and I bet you like him too but did you know this 5 kept secrets about him;

That his favourite actor is Denzel Washington and his favourite movie is Training day, starring the same actor, Denzel Washington.

He’s also a sucker for attention and as long as people are paying attention, then he’s thrilled.

Kakamega is his favourite tourist destination. Terms it’s culture and it’s exoticness as the main reason.

He’s also a sucker for beautiful women and that’s one of the main reason he singles out Brazil as his favourite tourist destination outside Africa.

He entered Big Brother Hotshots for the exposure and the intrigue of living with total strangers in a tight space and that’s why you need to vote for him. He also sights being a performer so why not let him continue performing his magic in the house.

Vote and vote some more to ensure he stays in the house;https://connect.dstv.com/en-ZA/Login/?returnUrl=http%3A%2F%2Fbigbrotherafrica.dstv.com%2Fvote

This is Why Nyaguthii of Papa Shirandula is the HOTTEST Actress in Kenyan Comic Opera (Photos)

This girl sure is beautiful and of all Kenyan comic soap operas; Nyaguthii stand to be counted as the leading actress in as far as beauty is concerned.

Papa Shirandula actress Nyaguthii is sure an eye catcher and maybe her stunning beauty might just give you a reason to catch a glimpse of the comic opera which airs on Citizen TV on Thursdays. Nyaguthii lights up comic operas in the country as it has almost become a culture to only find pretty ladies on romance dramas and very rarely on comic operas.

Enough of beating the drum for her; check out dazzling photos of Nyaguthii on the photo gallery below and see what I am talking about for yourself:

Huddah Monroe Gets A Kiss From Wizkid (Photos)

‘Carol’ hit maker Wizkid was recently in the country. His performance was met with mixed reactions with some loving his performance others wishing they had just stayed home.

But that is life; you win some you lose some.

Speaking of winning, Huddah got some love from Wizkid when they hang out together with Wizkid giving her a huge awkward smooch on her face.

Victoria Rubadiri Mauled on Social Media For Posting These Photos!!

She has to be the sexiest Tv News anchor of all time (my assertion), but that does not make her infallible, her aura of, infallibility was pricked after she posted macabre photos of her on her facebook timeline.

The gory photos which imbibed Halloween were not taken lightly by her fans who termed them as “evil” “morbid” Ghoulish” amongst a myriad of other eerie epithets.

It turns out that Victoria had been hosting the trend in Larry’s absence, in the show, were movie make-up artists who used her to display their artistry..

vic2

This is how she looked like after the artists were done with her!!

vic

She has since taken to facebook to defend herself..

I hosted the Trend this past Friday and one of the segments featured a team of artists who specialise in movie and television make-up. I was their subject and what resulted was a rather gory finished product, which was the whole point of the segment ‘Beauty to Beast.’ Some took the segment tag and my reference to the make-up as ‘being set for Halloween’ as a promotion of the holiday. To be clear the segment was NOT an ode to Halloween or anything more sinister. It was really unfortunate that what was meant to showcase the talent of local young make-up artists, who do spectacular work, ended up being misconstrued. I realise it may have offended some, but it was purely done in jest, given the nature of the show. And come on, you have to give me a little credit for being brave enough to embrace ‘the ugly’ like that on LIVE television. With that I’m going to enjoy the rest of my Mashujaa Day, hope you do too.

Well maybe you should cut her some slack folks.

Has She Been Quiet? Well, Not Any More. See Who This Is

Someone said that still waters run so so deep! Another person added that shallow brooks dry easily.

But believe it or not, AVRIL is no shallow brook. She is the silent waters that run the deepest.

It is been a while now since the songbird released something for the fans and that seems to come to a halt after Avril herself promised to do something great for her fans.

This means that something is in the pot, cooking probably and it will not be long before we realise what is in the offing.

Avril revealed this on her facebook page.

Here is what she posted:

Sonko Shaves His Head In Honour Of Muthama’s Estranged Wife (Photo)

Machakos senator Johnson Muthama found himself under the glare of negative publicity when his estranged wife made news after she complained of neglect by the politician.

In addition she said that Muthama had even sent bees to evict her from their matrimonial house. These are claims that Muthama has since denied saying that his political enemies are out to get him.

Flamboyant senator Sonko took to social media to give his two cents on the matter. He even shaved his head in support of Muthama’s wife.Alongside the photo below,Sonko wrote that

Watu wangu tumekaa sana bila debate:

The Nature Of Every Man:
When a man meets a woman for the first time in his life, the first thing that ringers in his mind is to sleep with her to prove to him whether she loves him, but when a woman asks for money on the first date he terms her as a A”GOLDDIGGER”. This bad attitude should stop. Do you agree? I support I say women should be respected. What’s your take?

Ghafla Investigates; This Effects Gotten by Taking Selfies will Blow You Away #GuinnessGetBooked

The weekend is already here with us-come on only a few days to go; time to relax and unwind. For majority of us, we’ll probably hit the bar tonight for a tipple and catch up with friends.

After the fun kicks in, you’ll also want to take selfies to celebrate the moment. Now what if I told you that it’s possible to win 5000 cash just by doing that? It’s pretty simple. All you have to do is enroll in the Guinness game day selfie where participants’ inbox the Guinness Facebook page a selfie of yourself and stand a chance to win. Whether you’re watching the game or standing in front of the Guinness branding at one of the in bar promos over the weekend, you’re likely to win.

While at it, you can also participate in another game, guess the goal time. Guess the Goal is a competition the Guinness Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/guinnesskenya) and on Guinness mobi (http://gvip.co.ke). They are with going to the relevant‘ Guess the Goal Time’ timeline image and article on Guinness Mobi, guess the minute in which the opening goal of the specified English football match will be scored. The prediction must be made by leaving the number of the minute in which they think the opening goal will be scored. Predictions must be submitted an hour prior to the kick-off time of the relevant match to be considered.

With those kind of offers to consider from, then it’ll only be fair if you made Guinness the drink of your choice tonight.

Victoria Kimani Hangs Out With TI and Davido (Photos)

Victoria Kimani is fast establishing her name among the heavyweights of the music showbiz as she freely mingles with American rapper TI and Nigerian singer Davido.

American sensational rapper TI and Nigerian wonder boy Davido flew to Tanzania to rock revelers at the Serengeti Festival; our girl Victoria Kimani too was also among the artistes who were to perform and she got the privilege of freely mingling with TI and Davido.

Such kind of rare opportunities are well utilized by celebrities to work out something with the industry’s heavyweights and it won’t be a surprise to see Victoria dropping a song with TI and/or Davido. Anyway speculation aside; check out exclusive Victoria Kimani pictures at the Serengeti Festival:

Adelle Onyango Attacks Wizkid’s Concert…And then Someone Mercilessly Attacks Her Teeth!

Adelle Onyango’s dental formula came under heavy artillery last weekend On Twitter after she had the temerity to attack Wizkid’s Nairobi Concert.

When Adelle Onyango decided to throw shots at the seemingly poor organization of the much-hyped Wizkid Concert, she didn’t expect that, among her followers, would be some diehard stupid Wizkid fans who would waste NO time in putting her teeth-or dental formula-under the chopping board.

Once she was safely at the Concert Venue,Adelle felt that the Concert was generally shoddy and poorly-organized. And not one to mince her words,or keep her thoughts to herself,Adelle decided to tell the World that Wizkid’s Concert was a complete fiasco. As far as professionalism was concerned.

And BOOM! Her teeth were immediately launched into the Twitter tirade. Her famous dental formula was senselessly dragged into the whole discussion. Thankfully, she handled it like a Pro.

And proclaimed,”Haha trolling My teeth wont change Your Bank accounts. Grow Up!”

This is after one insensitive Twitter user @HeWillLeave,had the courage to tell her,”Am not bitter but its true your mouth is disorganized”

Ouch. That hurts.

Another user @IllmaticQ,also replied to her telling her that the Wizkid Concert was as disorganized as “Her dental formula”

Too Heartless. And crude of them!

And then this….

She handled it with class tho…And controlled grace.

Jeff Koinange Follows in Maina Kageni’s Footsteps

What do Maina Kageni and Jeff Koinange have in common?

They are both highly revered in their respective fields, both by peers and fans. Their voices are impressive, really impressive. They have fiercely loyal fans that follow them to whatever media house they move to .

And the fourth  thing they have in common is that they have both worked in a PRC ad.

Maina Kageni was first chosen to reveal the beauty that beholds Laikipia County and now Jeff has brought the bench to the picturesque slopes of Mt. Kenya.

Believe it or Not; Popular Musician Resurrects and Takes His Friends Out (Video)

Many do not believe in resurrection and I know as much as it sounds science fictional it really happened and all of it was caught on camera and now all the doubting Thomas can see it as well.

Do you believe in miracles? Well however small or big it is, a miracle is still a miracle and to see a well known artiste resurrecting from his music stupor to come back and once again hit the airplay is by all means a big miracle. I don’t know whether you remember him but sure he is a great rapper and his lyrics were so much admired.

j mani1

J’ Mani has been featured (together with Calvo Mistari) in a new song dubbed TWENDENI Out by new kid on the block Opips. ‘Twendeni Out’ has an old school hip-hop feel about the track, perfectly complimented by sultry smooth vocals that make it both a ‘danceable out at the party jam’. Opips is prized for great things to come with this fusion of hip hop, rnb, and his dancehall style, smooth, sexy vocal delivery. Guess J’Mani couldn’t resist going out and had to make a comeback through this exciting song. Check out the video here:

After Sabina Was Eliminated From BBA, another Kenyan Is On the Chopping Board

Just when we thought we had survived the cut during Sunday’s eviction, Biggie had a rude surprise for us.

He announced that a 3rd housemate was being eliminated from the competition. We then crossed our fingers and every crossable body part, hoping and praying that it would not be one of our own. But Alas! It was one of our own, the stunning Sabina Stadler.

sab_2.jpg

We have barely recovered from Sabina’s untimely exit when Alusa was nominated for eviction. He was accompanied by Uganda’s Ella, Zimbabwean JJ, Laveda from Tanzania, Ghana’s M’am Bea, Zambia’s Macky2 and Permithias from Namibia.

Show your patriotism by voting to keep Alusa in the house. Visit here and vote, it would totally suck if Kenyans were voted out back to back.

CABU GAH DIARIES:Nigerian Music,Nigerian Men,Nigerian Culture, Nigerian Movies. Wait,Am I in Nairobi or Lagos??? I WANT MY COUNTRY BACK!!

Lately,I have been having a whole Nigerian epiphany.

I have had a somewhat creepy feeling…Nairobi has been feeling different lately. It has been feeling like Lagos to Me. Or Abuja. Or Sokoto. Or Enugu.

Moi Avenue has been feeling like Abeokuta Highway to Me. Thika Road has been giving Me an Oshodi-Isolo feeling.

Is that Mama Kayai ?? No,its Mama G. Or Patience Ozokwor. Is that Anto Neo Soul?? Oops ,Its Jim Iyke. Is that Ken Ambani?? Oh Nooo,Its Desmond Elliott. Is that Nice Githinji?? Dammit! It’s Ini Edo. Oh,I hope that is Angel Waruinge?? Too bad,Its Rita Dominic!!! Its Genevive Nnaji.

Heeeeeey!!!! Am I in Kenya or Nigeria???

I thought I was having some Kenya Shillings in My pockets….seems like I have been carrying around Nigerian Nairas all day. Wasn’t the face on My notes supposed to be the face of Mzee Jomo Kenyatta?? And now all I see is the portrait of Alhaji
Aliyu Mai-Bornu…All I see is the sturdy image of Dr Clement Isong.

Damn! Am I in Kenya or Nigeria???

My Music!!! My good old Kenyan Music!!! Who is playing Kenyan Music anymore?? I want My Kapuka! I want some Genge! I want Me some Benga ! But all I hear is Afro-Pop! All I hear is Highlife! All I hear is Afro-beat! What happened to My Taarab?? My local Kenyan tunes?? Why aren’t they playing them anymore?? Why have they gone silent?

Am I in Kenya or Nigeria!!

I used to idolize Nameless. I used to cheer along and scream and shout at the mention of Juacali’s Name. What happened to My Nonini?? My Wyre??

All I see is Davido. Davido on my TV. Davido in the streets. Davido on My Radio….Davido Davido…Davido.

All I hear is Wizkid. Wizkid on KISS FM,Wizkid on One FM,Wizkid on Easy FM. Wizkid on Hits FM. Wizkid Wizkid Wizkid.

All I see is D’Banj. D’Banj on Kiss TV,D’Banj on NTV,D’Banj on K24. D’Banj on KTN….

Am I in Kenya or Nigeria???

And My Clubs…My Discothèques. My Nightclubs. What is going on?

Am I in Kenya or Nigeria???

All the festivals I go to. From Naivasha to Nakuru to Masaku to Eldoret…All the Music festivals… All I dance to is the West African tunes…The dancefloor is flooded…

“Skelewu….Are You gonna Dance-O…Aye….Gobe….Johnny….Am looking for Caro…Girlie-O….Testimoney….Ejajo…Tchelete…Ada Ada…Ashawo…Kukere…”

I stopped hearing Swahili tunes. Sheng tunes. Nairobi tunes…No one is playing them anymore! No DJ cares about My Eastlands Rap tunes anymore.

Is that Dedan Kimathi’s statue?? Oops, they replaced it with that of Patrick Chukwuma Kaduna Nzeogwu.

They just pulled down Tom Mboya’s statue and replaced it with The Great
Christopher Okigbo’s. I am almost forgetting Wangari Maathai. Seems like Hajiya Gambo Sawaba has replaced Wangari’a revered memory.

Am I in Kenya or Nigeria??

Why am I reading Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie more than I am reading Grace Ogot? Why are they reading Chibundu Onuzo’s work yet they are NOT reading Okwiri Oduor’s?? I feel like Wole Soyinka has replaced Ngugi Wa Thing’o!!!

Am I in Kenya or Nigeria???

And ALL our Beautiful women are rushing to Lagos….to find Love, and affection and Romance! If they get babies, will they name them Kamau? Or Otieno? Or Kiptoo? Or will they be named Ogochukwu? Or Adeyemi? Or Ezukwu?

Am I in Kenya or Nigeria!!?

Kenya, WAKE UP!

We have been colonized! The British came, stole our culture, our traditions and our lands…And then left…But if You thought that was over,You are WRONG. Another Colonial Master has come. His name is THE NIGERIAN.

And today,All I near is Nigerian Music. All I see is Nigerian Movies. All I perceive is Nigerian Culture. All I feel is Nigerian-ness. All I listen to are Nigerian Artists. All I dance to are Nigerian tunes.

Our Radio stations….Our TV stations….Our DJs…Our Clubs….Our Streets…Our Event Organizers… They’ve turned Kenya into a Little Nigeria. Nairobi into a Little Lagos.

Poor Kenya.

We have been COLONIZED!!! And it sucks! Big time!!!

I WANT MY COUNTRY BACK!

Rapper Jay A Abandons Rap and Jumps into Rock n Roll #CokeStudioAfrica

He came into the limelight with a bang via a song called On Me with he collaborated with the songstress Amina and from then on it has been upward spiral for rapper Jay A. He did Dumbala which was a massive hit and even joined the line up in the Ligi Soo remix by Rabbit. That is an artiste out to make an impact in Kenya’s hip hop scene right?

So it came as a surprise to us when he decided to abandon rap and jump into the Rock n Roll bandwagon. Yes, 2 Pac was no longer appealing but Elvis Presley certainly was. Check out this video to see what I exactly mean;

Elani Enjoy Special Treatment from KQ Flight Attendants after BBA Performance (Photo)

It must feel good to be king! Elani is currently one of the most sought after band on this side of Sahara .

The group that consists of Maureen Kunga, Brian Chweya and Wambui Ngugi have enjoyed an impressive rise to the top and have so far managed to stay on top of their game. And that is why they were given their chance to stand out globally.

elani_cover.jpg

This happened when they jetted off to South Africa to perform at the BBA eviction party that saw our very own Sabina Stadler get sent home.
On their way back, the band’s choice mode of transport was the dream liner and they got to meet their fans who included the KQ flight crew who took a myriad of selfies with them. Next they were invited to the cockpit to meet the captain, an experience that Elani describe as ‘so crazy’

This is the Beautiful Kenyan Who is Taking American TV By Storm (Photos)

I would not be wrong to say Kenyans are so good at what they do as one Rachel Marete is walking the Lupita Nyong’o way in Hollywood.

At only 27 years, Rachel Marete is living the American dream as she is a TV host for a top American channel- CEN Network in the entertainment capital of the world Hollywood. CEN Network is an American TV that resonates with teens and young adult and Rachel is its host covering fashion week.

Even while in Kenya, Rachel was a top model and she represented the country at the prestigious Miss Universe beauty pageant; opportunity knocked and she couldn’t resist thus she flew to the land of milk and honey to seek greener pastures. Rachel was been freely mingling with the bigwigs of not only America’s fashion industry but the world’s as well. Check out the photo gallery of her at work:

Have You Noticed? Your Twitter Timeline May Be Looking Different! See Why

Twitter has taken Kenyans’ social life by storm. This explains why Kenyans love twitter so much that they have a group that calls itself Kenyans on Twitter (KOT).

As twitter keeps competing stiffly with other social media platforms like facebook and watsapp, it has come up with something else for the users: an improved timeline.

In their website, Twitter announced that they will start showing tweets of the people you do not follow in your twitter account and that they think you may want to see.

Isn’t that news? Now you can effectively read tweets and retweets by the people you do not follow on your account.

Here is what twitter said:

twitter

All these is meant to improve the services twitter is offering to its customers. Kenyans on Twitter (KOT) will definitely enjoy this.

Was Coola Gang Genuinely Drank or Drugged? Here is the Truth of What Really Happened

The bro duo popularly known as “Coola Gang” blacked out and vomited on each other during the wee hours of the morning at carnivore grounds during Wiz kid’s show. The question that is left on everyone’s mind is that: were the two just genuinely drank or drugged?

They were reportedly accompanied to the event by their manager, the sassy Miss Debrah Zawadi, who appeared to be very busy that night interacting with media personalities only to be called to find her boys blacked out. We have tried getting her comment on this and the first thing she said was: “THE HIGHER YOU GO THE COOLA THE GANG.”

Following up on this, the management said that their boys are very dedicated to their work and are still investigating what happened to the extent of taking the boys to the hospital for checkups. Apparently the management takes a very good care of its clients that they wanted to get to the bottom of the incident by having a scientific conclusion of what happened to Coola Gang. The management however has not disclosed the results from the hospital tests.

The duo however does not disappoint their fans at any given time; they will be dropping their new single this Friday and what seems to be the word on the street is that this new track will give local artists a run for their money. Well we are counting down days; only three days left for this to happen.

Kenya’s GHETTO RADIO Crosses Border to Tanzania

It seems like Kenya is taking over almost everything in East Africa. From politics to economy, Kenya has been on the forefront, leading the line with verve and swag, and it seems this is gonna go a long way before our East African neighbours and friends catch up with us.

On the media front, Kenya has expanded too. Ghetto Radio has pitched tent in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

The official Sheng radio station in Kenya has spread its wings to the neighbouring Tanzania to meet the demands of its growing fanbase.

This, they have done by establishing a sister station in the Tanzanian capital, Dar es Salaam.

A popular blog in Tanzania, Bongo5 reported that the station has been granted airplay and will be launching any time from today

This is what the blog wrote:

FRED OBACHI MACHOKA: They Have Tried To Kill Me Twice

Yesterday was MASHUJAA Day, a day that Kenyans celebrate their heroes and heroines; people who have had massive impact on their lives in one way or the other.

One such hero is Radio Citizen’s Rogaroga Show host uncle FRED OBACHI MACHOKA; a legendary journalist who has still managed to remain relevant in the ever changing media industry in Kenya.

Obachi is a celebrated presenter who has served in the Media for close to four decades, a feat that is no mean and that many a presenter will find difficult to match.

However, it is evident that a section of some Kenyans are so heartless and inhuman enough not to celebrate legendary people like Obachi and many others.

Obachi

This was after some took to social media to spread malicious rumours that Machoka, the blackest man in black Africa, had died in a grisly road carnage along Mombasa road.

This happened a few months ago but Machoka kept quiet until last evening when he shed light on the matter after he was hosted by Citizen TV’s Lilian Muli.

Machoka painfully explained how Kenyans had tried to kill him on social media, not just once but twice. He even wondered why some people could go to that extent to spread what he termed as malicious propaganda that only served to traumatize his family, friends and fans.

However, Machoka maintained that despite some people trying to kill him twice, he remained firm and going forward. He had a clear parting shot: while some wanna kill you, others wanna kiss you, and that’s life.

Here is the Million Shillings Gift NTV’s Faith Muturi and Her Family Gave to Kenyan Mashujaa

To celebrate Mushujaa Day in style; the Muturi’s decided to extend their compassion to the country’s heroes and heroines for their various accomplishment and gave them a lifetime worth gift.

What would be the best gift to give the country’s celebrated Mashujaa? I guess NTV Crossover host Faith Muturi and her family had a difficult time deciding the finest gift to give the country’s heroes and heroines before they actually decided to land on the million shilling gift. It is a gift that will be best shared amongst all the mashujaa without anyone getting the lion’s share.

But what exactly is this million shilling gift the the Muturis gave out? Even I was as astonished when I found out it was a song; yes a nice song done by Faith Muturi and her family to celebrate our mashujaa. It is worth million shillings because one doesn’t just wake up and come up with such a nice video song without extensive planning and of cause money. The song is dubbed Mashujaa and it is the perfect gift that coincided with Mashujaa day to celebrate the heroes and heroines. Check out the video here:

Kenyans On Twitter Mercilessly Roast American Media Mogul For Saying You Can Get AIDS From Towels In Kenya

When he is not making racist comments about Asian appearance or blaming  the Haitians earthquake on Haitians  making a deal with the Devil, he is calling Muslim Prophet Muhammad,“an absolute wild-eyed fanatic… a robber and a felon.”

As you can see Pat Robertson is not new to the douche-baggery arena. He has been a douche bag  for a long, long time and based on his latest comments about getting AIDS from towels in Kenya, he is not about to stop going down this slippery slope.

And what is appalling is the fact that these retarded comments are coming from someone who claims to be ‘a man of God’ someone who is expected to ‘lead the flock’ .Someone who is ‘an educated media mogul.’

His unbelievably ignorant comments caught the eyes of Kenyan on Twitter and he was roasted from here to Timbuktu then to Katmandu.

ROBERT ALAI: We Don’t Need ANNE KANSIIME In Kenya

Robert Alai is one of the most outspoken, extroverted and controversial individuals in Kenya. He has never failed to voice his views when he feels he should be.

This time round, Alai has taken to twitter to swipe at foreigners who are trying to invade the local industry in Kenya.

Alai in particular has taken issue with Ugandan comedian Anne Kansiime who was contracted by the Old Mutual as their brand ambassador.

Instead Alai has applauded Old Mutual for rectifying their early mistake and using Kenyan comedian and Milele FM presenter Mogaka as their brand ambassador.

This is what Alai tweeted:

alai

Do you agree with Alai’s sentiments that Kenya has enough local talent and therefore no need of foreigners?

Kenyan Sabina Almost Survived the Cut But a Last Minute Decision Saw Her Kicked Out

It is the end of the road for Kenyan female representative to the Big Brother Africa Hotshots-Sabina after she was unexpectedly evicted from the continental reality show.

Biggie pulled out a surprise when he unexpectedly decided that three housemates be evicted from the house instead of the usual two. At first Sabina thought she had survived the eviction when Uganda’s Esther and Nigeria’s Lilian were named as the two housemates to be leaving the house and she had even relaxed after the tense moment of having to witness two of her colleagues leaving the house.

sabina

Biggie’s choice of deciding that a third housemate be put up for eviction caught everyone by surprise as even Ike (BBA Hotshot host) had a difficult time announcing it to the housemates that a third contestant was leaving the house that same night. It was so unfortunate that the 5th housemate leaving BBA Hotshot was Kenya’s Sabina; she was so shocked but she soldiered on as she bid farewell to the remaining 21 contestants.

The race is getting tougher for the remaining Kenyan BBA Hotshot representative- Alusa as his team lost the extravaganza challenge but he was lucky enough to be nominated only thrice for the eviction this coming Sunday. He is however not safe as today Biggie announces the housemates up for eviction and unless Alusa is appointed the head of the house or gains enough votes from African viewers, he too will be packing his stuff and leave the house next Sunday.

EVICTED!!! Kenya’s Big Brother Housemate and Crowd Favorite,Sabina,EVICTED from the House. SAD.

The Big Brother Curse has ONCE AGAIN befallen Kenya. Sabina Stadler, a clear BBA crowd favorite, has been sent packing. After just 2 weeks in the house. PAINFUL.

After ONLY 2 weeks in the hallowed (Ok,Not-so-Hallowed) Big Brother House,Kenya’s Contestant Sabina has been sent home. Sabina Stadler was evicted after just a measly 2 weeks of wowing crowds in the Continental House.

Sabina, who had been already tipped as a possible Big Brother Winner and as a very strong contestant by pundits and viewers alike, was sadly EVICTED from the prestigious voyeuristic House after she and 2 other contestants received the least votes from all across Africa.

The three housemates that were evicted as per the tie-breaker rules are therefore Kenya’s Sabina,Nigeria’s Lilian and Uganda’s Esther.

Sabina had earlier said that If she wins the money, she’ll leave it alone for a month before buying a house, spoil her family with a holiday, build her Grandmother a house, save towards her daughter’s education, support her adopted charities and invest in her business.

Sabina therefore joins the list of Huddah Monroe and Teddy Muthusi as some of the Kenyan contestants with the least duration of stay in the BBA House.

TOO SAD.

Either way,Welcome Home,Sabina. We Love You.

Diamond is NOT Being Paid 1.2 Million. He’s Not Even Performing at The MCSK Gala In the First Place!

We all know MCSK gala night is going down on Monday night- Mashujaa day and guess who’s not performing? Diamond Platnumz. This is a story which has created quite a buzz on social media for the better part of the day.

Since its Ghafla, we took it upon ourselves to confirm and indeed Diamond is not being paid 1.2 million. As a matter of fact he’s NOT even being paid at all since he’s not scheduled to perform.

According to Maurice Okoth, CEO MCSK, Diamond is just gracing the event to have a good time and watch fellow Kenyan artists perform and he also clarified where all this emanated from.

Apparently Diamond was in the country the other day to collect his cheque for royalties and to be specific broadcasting royalties. He happened to be the highest paid foreign earner according to the music body. In the process he heard about the gala going down on Mashujaa day and that’s when he showed interest to attend.

We went further and talked to Nameless an artist scheduled to perform on that day and he dispelled the allegations as false and unfortunate. He argued against people dispensing any information without confirming first with the relevant quarters and cautioned against people rushing to social media to spread rumours.

Frasha of P-UNIT also shared the same sentiments and indeed confirmed that Diamond was not performing. What he however disclosed was that indeed all performing artists will be paid 50,000. And just to keep you in the know on exactly which performances to expect, here is a full list of all the artists scheduled to perform;

So,there You have it. The TRUTH HATH BEEN SPOKEN. No more misinformation. See You at the Gala.
