Papa Dennis is one Kenyan celebrity that gives the kings of flash Mike Sonko and Prezzo a run for their money when it comes to being super flashy.
And sure enough,Papa Dennis did not fail to bring the flash in his Injili video that features a Maserati, a Ferrari and a sprawling mansion. This ostentatious video has has been on high rotation on Trace Urban, Channel O and Suncity channels.
The video has been done by the king himself; Godfather productions .Godfather productions has shot and directed well-known songs by famous African artistes .In his impressive portfolio lies Burna Boy’s Gorgon ,D Banj’s ‘Top of the and Mafikizolo’s and Davido’s ‘Tchelete’.
The fact that the video was done by Godfather, arguably the best video director in Africa makes it an above average video. But despite Godftaher throwing his weight behind Papa Dennis, DJ Pinye was not impressed.
He says that he cannot play the video on The Beat because it’s ‘below standards’. He argues he has been in the industry for over 15 years and he can tell quality video from a shoddy one.
{youtube}uDFTGk0ijpc{/youtube}
I watched the video which has now garnered 172,432 and I have to admit that the video is quality…on mute minus Papa Dennis’ random rumblings in Lingala.
To be honest, I’ve heard good songs and this one is just not it! I would rather watch a quality song shot on a bicycle or in a wheelbarrow than a poor quality song shot in a Maserati. It makes no sense to spend millions on a music video but compromise on the song’s quality. It’s like buying the 5.76 Billion Shillings Fusaichi Pegasus thoroughbred horse and housing it in a village in Ndunduri.
This is the kind of song that once I’m done staring at The Maserati and Ferrari I would probably never want to listen to it again.I’ll have to side with DJ Pinye on this one!
To protest against the recent stripping of women, some female and male celebrities have been posting photos of themselves wearing miniskirts, gospel artistes too appears to have joined this bandwagon.
It is now a common phenomenon to see both male and female celebrities in the country wearing miniskirts. To protest the recent stripping that a lady underwent in the hands of Embassava touts, women started the hashtag #MyDressMyChoice and ever since ladies have been posting photos of themselves wearing skimpy dresses.

Gospel artistes too appears to be actively participating in this campaign, despite being far away across the Atlantic, Janet Otieno posted a photo of her to mock the men who ferociously stripped the lady at Embassava stage.

Wow! If you thought only those wearing miniskirts were allowed to post photos, then you are dead wrong. See how long Janet’s dress is? So who is she mocking? Is it fellow ladies who are busy uploading photos of themselves wearing miniskirts or the perpetrators of the heinous act?
He has been lauded as Kenya’s most generous celebrity, most philanthropic and highest MCSK earner.
As they say, a hand that gives is never empty and by the look of things, Jaguar’s hands are overflowing with, money.
Jaguar has now acquired a new baby, and not just any motor vehicle, a Range Rover to be precise.

Jaguar will soon be cruising down the highway in this luxury SUV in the near future! If that is not being blessed, then I don’t know what is.

Look out for this fresh, fine, young talent…she is sure to rock your world.
Talk of impunity, dictatorship and intimidation, these are the kind of actions which should never be tolerated in the 21st century Kenya. Our deteriorating economy, improper regulations and lack of employment has made many of us young people to drop our guards and allow the rich and powerful to use us, while we toil to furnish their frivolous lifestyles. There comes a time when the despots have to speak up, rise against racism, bullying, amongst other imposed atrocities..
GBS TV is one of the Korean owned company that has ignored rules and regulations of human labor and operates at their own free will. This Korean owned TV station is located on Thika road behind Safari Park hotel and just 200 meters from USIU, it is based in Goodnews Mission Nairobi Church which is the founder of the station.
Close to six years ago when the station started operating in Kenya it recruited venerable young people and a few graduates most of who didn’t have knowledge of broadcasting. The company promised to make them experts in digital broadcasting field in exchange for their labor and many more goodies that made some slave and toil continuously. Some of the promises were that, in three years all would be driving and living comfortably,Six years down the line the workers are still languishing in abject poverty, it is now three months since they were last paid their salaries. Some have moved out of their houses and now live with friends, those families are having it rough, living with debts from friends while waiting for a better day.
Last Thursday, my Colleague and I left for GBS, we hoped to get to the bottom of it all and possibly help the suffering workers, the managers were away at a bible crusade that had cost the company a whooping 20million!!
“The Korean managers are so mean and cold. They have created an environment where no one can ask or say anything. The African managers are so afraid especially of the young Korean managers. Who at times shout at them disrespectfully in front of everybody in the office, sometimes they even slap them! The Korean Managers often intimidate people with layoffs or salary deductions which come with other compulsory deductions from church activities..” A disgruntled employee would tell me, tears welling in his eyes.
“..were made to sign agreements which favor the company only. When you get late to work for three days even if it’s a minute, you get deducted a full day’s salary but when we work overtime we are not compensated. There are no mechanisms for extra time compensation. A manager gives you a warning letter for any mistake even if it’s their fault, three warning letters means a permanent dismissal. Due to frequent salary delay we are forced to walk to work, work the whole day without any meals and leave no later than 6p.m…”
On 13th– 16th of this month the company prepared a much publicized NATIONAL PEACE BIBLE CRUSADE at Nyayo stadium with the budget going over 20 Million. Yet since August the workers had not received their salaries.
Korean managers lead posh lives, drive expensive cars, shop at TRM and have their meals at high-end hotels. They are living big while the workers can’t afford even the most basic of commodities..
.
The workers are asking for any form of intervention from the Government, they can’t quit given the unavailability of jobs in the country, all they need is consideration, they do their best at work! It is their right to have salaries!! Somebody do something! Fast!
Women and men from all walks of life, rich, poor, famous, unknown, tall short, Black, White ,Asian, young ,old came out today to Uhuru Park.
They were different, but they were united by one common goal, a goal to fight for the woman in red .A goal to change how women are treated and to show the perpetrators of gender violence that women will not be silenced and they would wear what they pleased.
The theme of the day was ‘My Dress, My Choice’.
Kilimani women led the pack joined by Esther Passaris.Kenyan Celebrities such as Gerald Langiri, Helena Waithera, Kaz, Shix Kapyenga, Annabel Onyango, One F.M’s Neomi Ng’ang’a and Kiss TV’s Kwame Bonsu. Activist Boniface Mwangi also showed up for the protest in traditional short clothes.
But the protest against stripping was not limited to the streets, other celebrities such as Capital F.M ‘s Sharon Mundia, Ebru TV Ladies, Terryanne Chebet and Pinky Ghelani took to social media to protest the stripping of Kenyan and in solidarity for all the women and men marching for #mydressmychoice.
Here are some of the photos posted on Social Media:

Top actors from local TV programs presided over a talent search event organized by Jimmy K that was discovering raw talents from Embu and Meru region.
Looking at the majority of primary school kids, many will be mistaken to think that nothing much can be expected from them as far as talent is concerned. Last weekend parents and the public at large were shocked at what came out of Meru and Embu Counties when “My Treasure” talent search landed.
Congregating at the famous Izaak Walton Inn in Embu, primary school pupils exhibited their gifts in singing, dancing, modeling, poetry, martial arts and comedy. Speaking to the founder and producer of the talent search, Jimmy K, the programme is one sure way for parents to realize the potential in their children and nurture their gifts.
One of the parents who brought her son to the event was shocked that the class 6 pupil could sing and crack jokes and actually move the crowd. After the Embu and Meru legs, the top 3 winners from each category will converge at Machakos University on the 16th of December to battle it out with others from across the country.
Even the judges; Mwamba – Mother in Law, Lavenda – Inspekta Mwala and Uncle G – Beba Beba were impressed at how talented the kids are.
Here are some images from the event in Embu;

Two dance crews are locked in a fierce tussle as they try to move heaven and earth to be crowned the winners of Sakata Mashariki dance competition.
Citizen TV’s popular dance competition Sakata Mashariki is about to wind up its activities, that can only mean a winner has to be crowned, the best dance crew in East Africa is set to be known soon as the show nears its end.

Last night, Sakata held its semi-finals and after a lively performance by four dance crews (X-acid, D.S.I, I.D.U and G-cleff), only 2 groups managed to progress to the next level making it a total of 7 to head to the finals. Uganda’s I.D.U (invincible dance unit) and Kenya’s D.S.I among others will lock horns as they try to outdo each other to win the top price of Ksh 1 million.

The grand finale will be an exciting one as the groups have all shown they have the machismo to drive them to victory. Majority of fans on social media have been hinting Uganda’s IDU as the favorites to lift the trophy but then again you never know how good DSI will be on the final day. All I would say, let the best team win.
We are still at it. The controversial topic about nudity and stripping of women in Kenya. As irate citizens took to the streets today to protest the undressing of women by a group of men in Nairobi and Mombasa, others have taken to social media to air their views.
Among those who have come up with what arguably can be termed as the most controversial pieces is former Moi University student leader, Mwamburi Mwang’ombe Mwambeo.
In his facebook page, Mwang’ombe gives his piece the title ‘Strip Them More. However, how he plays with words is what made us want to share this piece of writing.
Mwamburi applauds the beauty that ladies poses but warns them that if they keep exposing the beauty of their thighs and cleavages, men will want to ravage on them.
Here is the piece itself:
“STRIP THEM MORE!!!
“The anger of the penis does not destroy the vagina” is a Zimbabwean proverb.
Thighs on mini-skirts are public property which will be consumed any way the public chooses. As such, stripping could be one of those ways. As my friend-in-discourse Nyamweya Bw’Omari has just told me, “if their dress code is their choice, stripping them is also our choice/nudity not our choice.” One thing we must know is that the flesh of an African woman is irresistibly beautiful. You will never see us provoked by a naked Mzungu because there is nothing inviting in skin-like-pork.
This is easily appreciated alongside the fact that we are in a society and not a vacuum. Can you claim you are comfortable when your passing brings an entire street to a halt? Will we allow one person to expose a whole community of God’s creatures to sinful and abrupt erections!? No wonder God decided to dress a woman after ‘exposing’ herself to the ‘snake’.
While some of our ladies think that they can become porn-stars on the humble streets of Africa, they better know that we cannot stand open flesh – it is for consumption. You know what meat in glassed butcheries does to those of you who love meat! I have even heard some of you tell us “fungeni macho kama hamuwezi kujizuia!” How now! Man was created an all-time ogling being. We cannot shun a passing beauty, a loophole to pleasure! Ama you think hiyo self-control is simply done as said?
I do not want any of you my brothers to be cheated that they way just for fashion. Any woman with the boldness to show her thighs to the public or even parents is capable of everything. Ladies have a malicious and opportunistic eye that bewitches men of status. Women are permanent field marshals – always seeing far and on top of scenarios. How many marriages are oozing chaos courtesy of the temptation these stray women cause with their displayed flesh? Many a managers have bent company principles because of this THIGHING effect. Promotions and Degrees have been given to undeserving creatures just for these thighs!
I wonder where religion has gone. Those on the front of #MyDresscodeMyChoice are ladies who lead speaking- in-tongues sprees every Sunday. If you joined that, you are not my sister, wife, mother or daughter –you are an agent of temptation.
In the evening, I will confirm whether it is true that only single, bitter and hopeless ladies led the protest walk. As it were, no woman is comfortable knowing their husband works with a lady who is always out of enough cloth. Even those who struggle to hide their thighs with their palms as they grace TV Talk Shows on this overrated topic know the society is not safe with revealed thighs and baby’s food!
I don’t write for discourse but to attract the so called “feminine furry”. In fact, mkinitishia I will mobilise my boys allover Kenya to boycott that flesh whose awe is ruined by its over-exposure. It is unbecoming that you will copy and paste Corazon Indomables and Lorenzos in Kenya. Tukutane kwa maandamano ya #YourNudityMyDiscomfort next week. Hii nchi si ya mapaja yako bwana ala!”

Mini skirt syndrome appears to have caught up with Rights Activist Boniface Mwangi, but his action would land him in big trouble as someone spotted him and decided to launch attacks on him.
Some people would go to the extreme just to prove a point, their actions may be deemed crazy but it is just that their adrenaline is on a higher level. I happen to know two such kind of people who happens to be close colleagues, they both decided to wear skimpy feminine dress just to show support for the campaign against the recent tide of women stripping.

The two caused sneer round the social media when their photos hit the internet, they got hell of condemnation some even labeling them gay. Boniface too wore a mini skirt for a good cause and received the same treatment, but he was roasted by a popular figure on social media.

The controversial blogger, one and only Dikembe Disembe took shots on Boniface’s dressing, he found it disgusting for Boniface to wear skimpy dress. “Boniface Mwangi has very bad legs. If she was a woman no one would have bothered undress ‘her’. Leave nudity to women” Dikembe wrote on his social media handle. Though Boniface and my friends did it for a good cause, Dikembe had a point, those legs gush!
Bishop Ben Bahati, who many regard as the father of gospel music in Kenya, was finally laid to rest on Saturday at his home in Kakamega.
Bishop Ben Bahati succumbed to injuries sustained after he was involved i a grisly road carnage in Burnt Forest a few months ago.
After the accident, he was admitted in Nairobi hospital’s ICU where he lost his battle to the injuries.
The Bishop who mentored many gospel artists in Kenya including Rufftone and his brother Daddy Owen, was held in high esteem among Christians in Kenya and has left behind a flock he led in Eldoret.
During his send off, among dignitaries present were former Prime Minister Raila Odinga and senators Moses Wetangula and Dr. Bonny Khalwale.
Here are some of the scenes from his send off:
It is very rare for an artiste to compliment a fellow artist. However, when they do, they do it with the seriousness and honesty it deserves.
Kenya’s Juliani is one of the singers to lavish praise on Uganda’s veteran singer Chameleone.
Reasons why Juliani has poured praise on Chameleone are not clear. How is has learnt over time why Chameleone deserves the praises is also not clear but we can guess that Chameleone, to Juliani sings what appeals to the singer.
The Ugandan singing maestro has managed to remain relevant and appealing to the masses despite the ups and downs that musicians in the industry face day in day out.
Juliani took to his twitter account to lavish praise on the Wale Wale hit maker. He thinks the Ugandan is the most established musician in Africa.
Chameleone has done great songs, with almost each one of them becoming a hit upon its release to the market.
This perhaps is the reason why Chameleone is a role model to so many a musician, among them Juliani.

Mike Sonko, man of the people is one again throwing around an interesting bounty to anyone who has information that will lead to the arrest and prosecution of the suspects who heartlessly stripped a young lady.
Stripping women for wearing skimpy cloth has become a national problem and having realized this, Nairobi senator Mike Sonko wants to put a stop to it and has not only offered a reward, he decided to seek divine intervention to the menace as well.

Having realized offering a bounty for information leading to the arrest of the perpetrators of the heinous acts was not enough, Sonko decided to dedicate his prayers to the offenders this past Sunday. The stakes are high in this situation and Sonko too decided to offer awesome reward of Ksh 100,000.

Down is Sonko’s prayer and his reward offer:
I PRAY THIS MORNING to God and ask him for his forgiveness. I ask him to forgive the Men who have been STRIPPING LADIES NAKED in major town centres. I ask him to kindly make all those Individuals understand that the 21st century Ladies are very digital and different.I ask him to reign upon us all and bring real peace between those men and those ladies who have been stripped naked.
Bring peace God between those who strip women in towns and ladies who fear that their current dresscode may cause them to be embarrassed by individuals who might unknowingly or knowingly choose to strip them naked. Finally dear God, Bless all your people as your Real peace reigns upon this country. I pray all these in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Blessed Sunday Watu Wangu Wote!!
***However, I STRONGLY condemn the Barbaric Act.
And for the sake of Justice & the respect I accord to ALL the Women in this country, I hearby offer a reward of Kshs. 100,000/- to anybody giving information which will lead to the arrest and Prosecution of the Suspects who heartlessly stripped naked a young lady at Embasava Stage along Tom Mboya Street Nairobi last week.
Everybody is on this topic: stripping women in public. It is an incident that has triggered mixed reactions from all quarters and all walks of life; from the elderly to the young ones.
While others are warning that ladies will be stripped more and more, majority have condemned the incident in the strongest terms possible and demanded that perpetrators of the heinous act be brought to book.
Among those demanding for justice for the victims is deputy president William Ruto and many more socialites.
While at it, Juliani has added his voice on the trending topic in Kenya and beyond.
Juliani who is always active on social media has said that the energy used by the touts to undress the lady in downtown Nairobi should have been used to pull lazy politicians out of office.
Juliani says that there are leaders sleeping in office and deserve stripping of their powers. He has advised that those stripping innocent ladies along streets should channel their energies into stripping power from underperforming leaders.
This is what Juliani said:
“Hio nguvu walitumia kurarua nguo ya mrembo Embassava, ingetumika vizuri kuvua mamlaka wajumbe wamelala gava!”
Lamborghini kid or better known as Papa Dennis is once again setting a trend that is cutting across both gospel and secular music in the country.
Papa Dennis caused the country to come to an abrupt standstill when he dropped his eye-catching video Injili, just in case you forgot, the video was shot in South Africa and it is the exquisite flashy European-made sports cars that made tongues talking. Akothee is fast rising into a household name in Kenya after throwing herself into the limelight through her music, wealth and now her activities on the social media.
Ghafla Kenya reported early on that Akothee is emerging as one of the wealthiest musicians in Kenya because of the way she was splashing her money to enjoy herself to the maximum.
The singer has also been active on the social media. However, this time round she has gone overboard to protest the stripping of women in Nairobi and Mombasa by unruly men, something that has caused massive public outcry.
The singer took to her facebook page to post her own photos that are more revealing and warned those stripping women to turn away their eyes if they felt provocated.
Have a look at some of the photos the singer shared on her facebook page:
“Imagining some pavert stripping any of my things naked ati underdressing ! When did you start puting on clothes? Are you not evolving from zinjanthropus to homoerectus eeee naumia jamani i feel for women ! Our husbands why now ?when did you become animals again ?”

Lupita Nyong’o is now making more money than her dad Senator Anyang Nyong’o will ever make in his political career even if he is given a loan by the Central Bank itself.
Why on earth would one individual earn so much money, I mean Lupita can give the entire Kenyan population of 40 plus million people 1 million US dollar each and still remain with an awesome chunk for herself. Did I say she could give one million dollar to every Kenyan? That is like Ksh 90 million each with the current exchange rate, so imagine how much Lupita makes.
The Hollywood actress has been included in the cast of Star Wars 7, her breakthrough is highly attributed to her performance in the movie 12 Years a Slave which earned her an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. Lupita will be joining the talented Gwendoline Christie in the cast of the movie.

Meanwhile, People with money magazine has reported Lupita as being the highest-paid actress in the world, pulling in an astonishing $75 million (Ksh 6.7 billion) between October 2013 and October 2014, a nearly $40 million (Ksh 3.6 billion) lead over her closest competition. The magazine estimates Lupita’s worth to be around $ 215 million (Ksh 19.3 billion), the magazine further claims Lupita owes her fortune to smart stock investments, substantial property holdings, lucrative endorsement deals with Cover Girl cosmetics. It also says Lupita owns several restaurants (the “Fat Nyong’o Burger” chain) in Nairobi, a Football Team (the “Mexico City Angels”), her own brand of Vodka (Pure Wonder nyong’o – Kenya), a top-selling perfume (With Love from Lupita) and a fashion line called “Lupita Nyong’o Seduction”.

Wow! This girl is living in her seventh heaven already, the life she lives, many only imagines of in their fantasies, anyway she is still a Kenyan and flying the country’s flag high in Hollywood. Thumps up Lupita.
Pinky Ghelani was part of an extremely famous clique of radio presenters who made radio the money-spinning business enterprise it is today.
She is mostly known for her work at Capital F.M and being crowned Miss India Kenya in the year 2000.
At her peak, Pinky quit her career in the fast lane, that is radio and TV for print media whose pace was much slower and more serene. She is currently the Editor of Home & Living Magazine.
But just because she chose a life on the slow lane, it doesn’t mean she lost her knack for going all-out when it comes to parties.
As it was witnessed during her baby shower for baby number two. The baby shower certainly did not lack in glamour and glitz which was expressed in beautiful hues of blue.

Well, for the last couple of days Kenyan men have been the subject of discussion after a gang of perverts forcefully undressed women who they felt were skimpily dressed in downtown Nairobi and Mombasa. This has led to massive public outcry and call for the perpetrators to be brought to book for their heinous acts.
Some of those good at tantrums went on to call the primitive chaps all sorts of names, but the one that took centre-stage is animals. Animals here to mean acts that are inhumane and that only animals can do.
But it is evident that some people did not know that there are animals reasonable enough than the primitive blokes who undressed ‘skimpily’ dressed women. In fact, many animals reason better than them.
For instance, it is rare to see cats mating or in what is understood by many, having sex. It is very rare. Also, when a cat pees, it tries hard enough to hide its excreta by covering it with soil or anything around it. That is sense. How many people pee in public places and leave their irritating excreta exposed to the public?
How many times have you come across places with writings warning people: do not urinate or pee here. Or no posters please! Sometimes I ask myself, do we really need to be reminded that the best place to do your noble task and probably with the most freedom is a lavatory or a pit latrine or a loo or a toilet for that matter!
Away from that, as some men in Nairobi and Mombasa went berserk and stripped our sweet ladies, a gorilla in West Africa was reasoning enough with a human being. Surprisingly, the Gorilla was male and the human being was female. That is interesting, right?
The Daily Mail published this story of a gorilla that 23 years down the line was pictured taking care of a 18-month old kid in a zoo owned by the kid’s father in Gabon.
Tansy Aspinall was 18 months old when her father, maverick conservationist Damian Aspinall, left her with a giant male gorilla, Djalta, in its pen, something that caused massive fear and ridicule. However, this what the gorilla did to the kid:
After a while, Tansy was separated with the primates and 25 years on, they never saw each other again until when Tansy and her dad made a journey back to the West Africa state to look for the gorillas they had taken care of 25 years ago.
They took a bought into the deep jungle in what looked like an impossible journey. Surprisingly, when they reached in the deep part of the jungle, two old gorillas emerged from the rainforest and moved closer to them.
Djalta, the male gorilla that had taken care of Tansy 25 years ago came to the now fully grown Tansy and went round her, sniffing her and after recognising the fully grown lady, warmly embraced Tansy, kissed and cuddled her.
What a hug! What a cuddle!
It was love lost between the two for a record 25 years but once again, rekindled by their meeting. This is the most unbelievable thing I have seen in years. A gorilla, recognising a fully grown woman it took care of 25 years ago? That is credible.
These photos are prove of what happened in Gabon recently. Back to our territories. A group of men cannot show love for women in Kenya. That is so appalling.
Have you ever asked yourself why the likes of Njoki Chege can go berserk on national newspapers to call men all sorts of names? Have you ever wondered why the likes of songbirds Emmy Kosgey and Amani have all turned us away and let their hearts find comfort in West Africa, Nigeria?
I have always told men that we are our own downfall. We’ve dug our own graves, hammered the last nails on our coffins and now want burry ourselves.
Imagine of a situation where a gorilla can show exclusive love for a woman whom we cannot find even a single reason to appreciate. That is what Kenyan men are made of nowadays. That is what we have allowed ourselves to be.
We strip them at will. We barter them at will. We insult them when and as we want. We lustfully harass them by those stern gazes, glances and stares.

Man beating wife
Well, rejection is the order of the day. When we get rejected, we feel bad. We strip them more. We insult them more. We abuse them more. We rape them. Oh God. We strip them to see what they have denied us. I would love to leave Kenya but I do not know who will accept me because Kenyan men are a disaster.
A female friend of mine told me she would rather date a gorilla than a Kenyan man. I felt the insult deep down my chills. I felt bad but I held back. She was right. She had a reason.
We have allowed the insults. Let’s sit back and absorb them. We cannot run away from them. Take it or leave it.
After publishing the Njoki Chege saga on Saturday, it was only fair we get her side of the story on the unpaid loan allegations and since we are Ghafla, we pursued her.
After much digging, I caught up with her this morning as she was having breakfast (she looked glamorous in a polka dotted pencil skirt coupled up with a leather jacket and some black heels by the way) and this is all she had to say before running and hiding behind the main door of the restaurant.
“I’m not talking to Ghafla right now; I’m not talking to anyone from the media right now.”
For those not yet in the know, Njoki Chege is the self- confessed modern woman and provocateur who has made it to the limelight for lashing out at Kenyan men branding them as crude, incompetent, inept and third- rate.

BBA Hotshots boss Biggie has decided to reintroduce former Big Brother Africa housemates from previous seasons to compete against the 12 remaining Hotshots.
As the race for the top price is getting tougher and tougher, Biggie has gone a notch higher to reintroduce 10 more housemates from previous Big Brother Africa seasons to compete against the 12 remaining hotshots. Season 9 contestants will be facing stiff competition from: Miss P (Botswana), Elikem (Ghana), Natasha (Malawi), Leonel (Mozambique), Uti (Nigeria), Luclay (South Africa), Feza (Tanzania), Denzel (Uganda), Sulu (Zambia) and Vimbai (Zimbabwe).

The 10 new housemates will be competing against their fellow countrymen and women, they will be up to replace them in case their game isn’t good enough; at least that is what Biggie made them to believe. (Hotshots will not be replaced by the 10 new housemates, they are only there to destruct them and make the game more exciting). Following the new twist, there will be no nominations this week but the Hotshots think they’re all up for the eviction.
10 new housemates aside, South Africa’s Samantha and Malawi’s Mr.265 were last night evicted from the house. The two were up for evictions last week, they only managed to get 1 and 2 votes respectively.

Samantha was convinced she was leaving the house and when it was announced she was eliminated, she was fine with the news while Mr. 265 appeared shaken. Meanwhile Tanzania’s Idris and Uganda’s Ellah quickly engaged in debauchery acts following Samantha’s exit. (Samantha and Idris were having an “affair” while at the same time Idris had something for Ellah)

There is nothing that fires a protest against injustice quite like political and legal backing.
The DPP has ordered a probe into the stripping incident at Embakasi ,Kimaiyo has urged the stripped woman to report the incident to the nearest police station and Deputy President Ruto has chosen to weigh in on the issue. ‘
Ruto was of the opinion that those stripping women publically and those making girls pregnant are cut from the same clothes and should be charged in a court of law.
Further adding that “We do not want to live in a primitive world where people do not respect the rights of others, especially the rights of children and women”
He uttered these words during a fundraiser at Chwele Girls Boarding School in Bungoma County on Saturday.
In his opinion a woman’s dressing shouldn’t bother you. Dress your girlfriend or your wife the way you want leave other women alone.

Amen to that!

The singer is at it again. In her instagram account, Victoria has revealed that in two days time, she will be releasing another single.
This what she posted and her fans say they cannot wait any longer. She better do it quick.
How Victoria’s single will be like we cannot tell. All we can do is wait for its release.
Citizen TV’s Politics and Current Affairs reporter, Jacque Maribe, six months ago gave birth to her first child. But the reporter has kept her child’s pictures away from the limelight, until now.
Jacque shared the following photos of her young son whom she fondly referred to as ‘Baby Zee’
She also posted this ‘Mummy Chronicles, 6 months on, and loving every bit of it! My darling son, my Zahari, my life, my heartbeat, you changed my whole life, I love you more than words can tell, I love you more than life itself!’

The miniskirt has been a subject of discussion after clips of women facing the wrath of perverts who undressed them went viral. The men allege that the women were indecently dressed and therefore helped them to remain nude as they wanted.
However, this has faced massive outrage and opposition from the public, and the perpetrators of the heinous acts are trailed by authorities to face the full force of the law.
As everybody is airing their views over the same, the director of digital communication in the office of the president, Dennis Ole Itumbi, has penned an emotional letter, addressing the miniskirt and admitting his admiration for the same.
Literally, Itumbi is addressing the miniskirt but figuratively, he is speaking in defence of ladies who don miniskirts.
In his letter, Itumbi is taken aback by the fact that the miniskirt has been criminalised and to some perverts, it looks more of indecent dressing than beauty.
Here is what Itumbi said:
Let me blog since I cannot demonstrate.
I am shirtless as I write this open letter to the miniskirt.I know my body does not come anywhere close to that of my friends in Sauti Sol,neither does my gym sessions assure that I will get there, but either way am shirtless.I mention shirtless because, unlike you dear miniskirt even if I walked in town like that no one would beat me up, never mind am shirtless.I start by describing myself nude, because I do not understand why people think you are not a cloth. In other words you are fabric won to cover a part of the body, while radiating beauty and confidence.Shirtless is however nudity. Yet people are after you and not the nudity. That is not why am writing a letter to you. I write because to be very sincere I like you. That is the only reason I would write to you. I know your history too – yes I have read about Mary Quant when she opened her boutique Bazaarin 1955 in London, on King’s Road. Those who wear you pass a message that reads – free, energetic, youthful, revolutionary, and unconventional. Of course I know that at one time a barmaid who wore you in Tanzania in 1968, was stoned by a mob that supposedly disapproved of the shortness and tight fit of her miniskirt. I remember when politicians argued that those who wore you were encouraging the spread of HIV/Aids. Of course there was that unfortunate incident in Russia, where a father hired hit men to kill his 21 year old daughter because she could not stop wearing Minis-skirts. But it is not all gloom, in 2008,Samsung, the guys who have won me with their Samsung Note series, introduced a cell phone dubbed, “Miniskirt Season 2” which, while looking nothing like a miniskirt, is targeted toward women who like to “Talk, Play, Love” See, dear Miniskirt, I checked you out. No-one attacks you as you hang on the shop, or as you dry after the wash. I mean I have seen you right in the middle of town and they did not bother to snatch you from the point of sale. You are only a danger after our beautiful sisters, girlfriends, aunties or mothers put you on. It seems they transform you to a dangerous social weapon, which some men cannot put up with. So they strip you from their bodies and blame you for all manner of things. I have a problem with that; I hold that the fact that the hemline is above the knee does not mean that you have become guilty. You see Kenya is a country that has attempted to come up with a National dress – basically an accepted kind of clothing and there was no agreement. At one time, the late Mutula Kilonzo, former Minister for Education, led a public call for girls to be allowed miniskirts in schools arguing it addressed the acceptance of dressing choice, sexuality confidence and general beauty. The constitution did not see a reason to ban a certain type of dressing. In fact the latest discovery is that the first civilization actually used Micro Minis. The problem we have is not the mini, it is a few men attempting to protect their own perverted view of life. Like someone argued elsewhere how does undressing women in Miniskirts, address the alleged issue of nudity? Fashion is a conversation that can be endless in nature, but one must love that we have had a debate on Mukimo as a food and Miniskirt as a dress. Dear Miniskirt, look your life in the Kenyan street and as a cloth for our ladies will not be admitted in the hospital or morgue of a few men who cannot appreciate that women have a choice to what they choose to dress in. The only violence acceptable to you my friend (the miniskirt), is the violence that comes with vigorous washing and the pain of hot steam as our mothers, sisters and friends iron or steam you to straightness. There is a famous quote about you -which I paraphrase, the best letters are as short as a miniskirt so as to captivate, yet long enough to address the matter. Simply put dear miniskirt my message is let women choose what they should wear, I do not know of a woman who does not know or who does not take time to dress to the occasion. They all choose different clothing to job interviews, a first date, a cocktail, a social event, a dinner and a dance too. In fact as far as I know, it is only women who have that unwritten rule – to appear in a wedding in a dress almost strictly. The problem of dressing for occasion is actually a male issue. For you dear Miniskirt, I agree #MyDressMyChoice. I rest. Still I like you. Regards,”
Today is the d-day. This is the day when willing women and everybody will be joining together to protest in the streets of Nairobi over what they say is reckless stripping, harassment and assault on women by primitive blokes.
This follows some ugly incidences where a woman in Nairobi and another in Mombasa were stripped by touts and unruly men respectively for what they termed as indecent dressing.
The skimpy dressing has been the topic of discussion for the last one week and among those who have aired their disgust at the incident is Deputy President William Ruto.
Kilimani Mums have organised a demo that will take place today, starting from Simmers Club in uptown Nairobi towards Uhuru Park, dressed in mini-skirts.
Controversial blogger Robert has, however, labelled the demonstrators peddlers, probably because they are starting their demo from a club towards a park.
Well, do you know the meaning of the word peddler?
A peddler is a hawker, a seller or a street trader. So what Robert Alai exactly means by calling the demonstrators peddlers cannot be guessed exactly but that what he thinks about them.
It can be remembered that Robert Alai is among those opposed to the demonstrations because he strongly believes that the women who were stripped were scantily dressed.
Gor Mahia’s diehard fan Jaro Soldier has openly rejected the offer the commander-in-chief had given him and instead opted for another deal.
While you are out there vigorously searching for a job that isn’t forthcoming, Gor Mahia’s biggest supporter Jaro Soilder rejected one that he was given by the president himself. Earlier last week when Gor Mahia visited State House, President Uhuru Kenyatta offered Jaro Soldier a job with Sports Stadia Management Board (SSMB) but the lad later refused the offer preferring another deal.

Is Jaro Soldier stupid or is he just crazy rejecting the lucrative deal? His reason for declining the offer is rather an interesting one. Last night, NTV reported the incident on their news briefings; Jaro claimed the job he was offered would restrict him from attending Gor Mahia’s games, he instead requested the president to give him capital to start his own business.

Well, Jaro Soldier might actually have an entrepreneurial mind but if there is still an opening maybe the president should consider me as well, I wouldn’t mind having that job, Dennis Itumbi should hook me up with the president.
It’s a wet Monday in the capital, there is so much infotainment news to hook you up with this beautiful morning. We all know Njoki Chege right? The Saturday nation columnist who has stirred up social media in the recent past for her opinionated jibes at Kenyan men referring to them as dowdy and broke?
Well, according to Robert Alai, she might be going through her own troubles. Apparently she borrowed Ksh 700,000 from the Standard Group staff Sacco to buy a car right before she moved to the Nation and now she’s finding it hard to repay specifically 268,000 which is the amount remaining on the loan.
Robert Alai also goes ahead to state her guarantors which include: Charles Otieno, Tracy Bett, Stephen Ndegwa and Harold Ayodo. It seems they are in big trouble as the Sacco has threatened to attach their salaries if Njoki Chege doesn’t pay up.
Our efforts to reach the blogger for a comment have been futile for the better part of the day.
The first person i had the impulse to call once i saw the the hasghtag #mydressmychoice was Socialite Corazon, given that in the past few weeks she seems to have developed a knack for short, skimpy and revealing.
My assertion is that these touts are just undressing girls who they feel are intimidating or just too elegant for them, All they want is to humiliate the woman in a bid to lower the woman to their level of existence. What a primitive form of existence?like Watiri would say, this is technically Neanderthal, akin to smashing clocks together to discern their internal working, undressing someone in order to teach them how to dress better next time! shame!
so I called corazon to find out what she felt about the newly acquired behavior.
I could rant for hours about Vanessa chettle, how i love her auburn hair, her hazel eyes and petite self, i could spend a double of that ranting about her friends that follow her ever so religiously, but i chose not to, because the American president just made a press release endorsing Vanessa’s twerking mastery!
I must admit that the video doesn’t look like vanessa twerking, but if it is really her, then she is good at it.

Most radio presenters, TV Presenters and other people in show business, often do their jobs totally oblivious of their impact on people’s lives. And how their presence on the TV screens, blogs and Radio impacts the lives of others and how many lives they save.
Today we had the pleasure of hanging out with the King of Radio and I realized just how much impact their presence makes in people’s lives. A young man called into Mambo Mseto today confessing that were it not for Mzazi and Mambo Mseto he would be 6 Feet Under.
The young man from Moi University main Campus confessed that he had contemplated suicide since life had become too difficult since his parents passed away. They left him penniless and there was nobody to help him, so he felt that his only choice then was killing himself! His life however took a different turn when he tuned into Mambo Mseto and Mzazi’s words plus a song called ‘Shida Za Dunia’ by Jose Chameleon changed his fate and life did not seem too gloomy, there was hope for him.
So yes dear celebrities, you may never know, but your work is changing a life somewhere.
