Jaguar: I Never Begged Iyanya For A Collabo

The beef between the Kenya’s Jaguar and Nigeria’s Iyanya is getting fatter and fatter each day as the two singer trade accusations against each other.

After hearing what Iyanya had to say about him, Jaguar has hit back laughing away Iyanya’s sentiments by saying that he did not look for him (Iyanya) in the first place to do the remix of his One Centimetre song.

Jaguar has explained that it was Iyanya who reached out to him because his original One Centimetre song was getting massive air play in Nigerian media.

Jaguar being a kind guy, he accepted but realised later that Iyanya is not the kind of person one would want to work with.

Jaguar was speaking to Radio Maisha:

You Won’t Believe This Is How TV Host Joe Muthengi Looks Without Makeup (Photos)

With most people used to seeing Joey Muthengi with makeup, it’s hard to imagine how people will react when they see her in her natural look.

With makeups nowadays giving ladies a complete facial transformation, it has increasingly become hard to tell how someone really looks.

Even so, photos of folks without makeup have intentionally or unintentionally popped up on social media revealing how people truly look without ‘additives’.

One thing for sure, Ebru TV’s Joey Muthengi is a natural beauty. The dazzling TV host was an eye candy even when she was only a kid.

Below is the evidence to prove Joey is a natural beauty:

Compare and contrast the two photos, Joey as a child and as a grown up. No big changes, Joey has always been beautiful even when she was only a kid.

Janet Mbugua’s Alleged Former Boyfriend Travels In Style. This Is the Chopper That Took Him to School

Former Youth Fund head honcho Gor Semelang’o and Janet Mbugua’s rumored ex-boyfriend had students staring when he made a grand entrance for his evening business classes at USIU.

The school is known for hosting some of the richest students in the country but that did not stop them from staring when Gor landed in their football field in a chopper, this is according to SDE.

CABU GAH DIARIES: How Many People Have You Blocked On Social Media?? Well,Makau Mutua Has Blocked More Than You! By Far. Whaaaaaaat!? Check This Out.

Social Media is one of the few public avenues where You can encounter the MOST hate, trolling, insults, disrespect and ridicule. And Makau Mutua knows that all too well.

The fellows that invented social media,Yes,those billionaires ensconced in Silicon Valley knew that, through their very ingenious invention, millions would ultimately encounter incredible volumes of hate and ridicule and bullying.

Armed with that knowledge, these chaps decided that they would add some little feature on their inventions called the ‘BLOCK BUTTON’

The purpose of a block button,in essence,is to permanently shut out a bully,a hater or a disrespectful follower/friend or just some bile-spewing stranger.

By blocking these toxic rascals,You save Yourself much agony. And much emotional turmoil by avoiding their incessant insults, taunts and trolls.

You save yourself a whole load of negativity. And You are able to execute Your social media duties more freely and easily after shutting these hate-filled bastards out.

The GOOD SIDE is…Well, there is the UNBLOCK Button. That is; after You’ve outgrown these low-lifes and are no longer intimidated by their initial insults and their jaundiced comments,You can finally UNBLOCK them. And re-admit them to Your club…

But still put them on probation. Just in case.

Now…Now…we’ve all blocked people on social media right? Right! A lot of people right? Right!

Well, not more people than the esteemed US-based Professor Makau Mutua, the Jubilee Government perpetual antagonist.

Makau W. Mutua (born 1958) is a Kenyan-American professor of law. He is the Dean of the University at Buffalo Law School ,where he is also a SUNY Distinguished Professor and the Floyd H. & Hilda L. Hurst Faculty Scholar.

He is also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.

Aaaand,He loathes Uhuru Kenyatta. With a passion. And,as a result, almost every single supporter, friend or follower of Kenyatta is,ultimately,Makau Mutua’s sworn enemy too.

And to prove to you just how intolerant he is of these Jubilee types, well,Here is THE OFFICIAL LIST of ALL the People Makau Mutua has blocked on Facebook.

Swear to God that list is huge! Like, waaaayyyyyyyyy huuuuuge!

Whaaaàaaaaaah! Ok….simply mind-boggling.

What’s more?? Browse down the list meticulously… And You will notice one thing; the list also exhibits Mutahi Ngunyi’s infamous ‘tyranny of numbers’ analogy. Yes…98% of the list belongs to those 2 communities. Including Dennis Itumbi. Hehe.

And Mutua even alludes to that himself in the preamble to the revelation.

Enjoy. And thank God YOU ARE NOT BLOCKED.

This is the LIST of people I have blocked on my Facebook account for being abusive, tribal, racist, homophobic, misogynistic, barbaric, crude, senseless, and insufferable. See if they have anything in common.

5 Types Of Kenyans That Should Be Banned From Facebook

There’s a group of Kenyans that make me not want to look at my news feed on Facebook whenever I log in. Fact is, a status update is annoying if it primarily serves the person who wrote it and does nothing positive for anyone reading it. The following groups of kenyans should give us a break because they are ruining our social media experience..

Kenyans who post “Thanks for the add”

Or “Thanx fi di +” or “Thank you so very much for accepting me as your friend.” Really? Kwani ni kazi umepewa? It’s pretty foolish and unnecessary. Most people don’t like posts of strangers on their walls. Personally I delete them immediately I see them. That’s after frowning and cursing. Dear guys who do that, a chic isn’t going to like you just because you posted on her wall. Kindly grow up.

Men who harass chics with endless inbox messages

Control your thirst. If Facebook was keen on sexual harassment, very many guys would be in jail right now. Some ninjas just can’t stop. They inbox random ladies with so much vigour like that’s what they were brought on planet earth to do. A guy sends 10 messages without getting a reply but he still continues. Calm your balls and figure out appropriate ways to approach chics. Random Inbox messages only make you look perverted

Chics who post, ‘I am in town, who wants to hook up?”

Or ‘I am in town, who wants to buy me lunch?’ and blab bla. Bish, get a life. No one is interested in hooking up with you or buying you lunch.. You are not Marylin Monroe. Neither are you Ketty Perry. Ule watchman wa kofia wa pale Stanley hukua town kila siku na hasumbuangi watu. Some of us go to New York, Johannesburg and London every time but we never ask the people there to come hook up with us in town.

People who chat about personal stuff via wall posts or comment boxes.

This mostly applies to lovers. We don’t need to know what you feel about each other or what you are going to do next. Discuss those things privately. In fact, these are the same people who go about writing paragraphs full of philosophical messages after they get dumped

Kenyans who keep posting photos of their babies all the time

Give the child some time to grow up first before you start sharing pictures with everyone. We understand that you are excited about having a baby and all that but trust me, no one wants to see baby photos unless it’s Kim Kardashian who has given birth.

Kenyan Artists Want Marijuana Legalized

Marijuana is an illegal substance in most countries of the world, Kenya being one of them. It is infact considered a dangerous drug and which will land one into a long jail term if found in possession or using it.

However, a crop of musicians has come up requesting that the dangerous drug be legalized in Kenya just like in some other countries like Jamaica.

In a brand new song by Lidanjam Raah, Kash and Ananda, the trio praise Marijuana and want the governement give it a consideration just like Miraa.

Kenya’s most revered investigative journalist, Mohammed Ali hit the screen once again, not to run his investigative piece but to shed light on pressing issues.

“So who is the owner?” Jeff asked.

“The owner of what? Weston? It’s Ruto. Google. Piga google sahii, it’s Ruto. We must fear God bana! Nobody else.” Moha audaciously stated.

It is now clear that NTV’s Dennis Okari, Emmanuel Juma and Linus Kaikai face a possible six-month jail term for contempt of court over the airing of the controversial expose, Certificates of Doom.

This is the case filed by Nairobi Aviation:

Sauti Sol And Judge Joan Sizzle The Crowds At Koroga Festival

All roads last Sunday were leading to the Arboretum grounds for the first 2015 edition of Koroga Festival.

The Koroga festival is a bi-monthly music art food and culture organized by Capital FM .It has often been likened to yet another celebration of music and culture, Blankets and Wine but Koroga seems to be taking over the artsy scene.
In attendance was Paula Kahumbu known for ‘Hands off Our Elephants ‘ and US Ambassador Robert Godec.

Sauti Sol,  Juliani and the beautiful Mayonde were among those acts that took to the stage. Sauti sol performed an old rendition of Kenyan classics before performing some of their hit songs. Judge Joan of Sakata fame also set the floor on fire with her eccentric dance moves.

For those who missed it, catch the amazing performance below:

Guess Which International Super Star Is Coming To Kenya?

After afro soul star Simphiwe Dana visited our country last year another star  is on her way for her inaugural performance in Kenya. Although distinctively afro-soul, her music is a melange of styles, ranging from reggae, mbalax and mandingue music.

Thaïs Diarra’s live concert will take place on the 6th of February, featuring Thais on guitar and vocals. Her melodic voice reminscinent of other nu-soul greats, will definitely soothe the week’s sorrows away.

Thaïs Diarra is described as a nu-soul singer with roots in Mali and Senegal. She was born in Switzerland, to a music-loving mother and a bass-playing father. Since Thaïs’ early years music was a refuge, a moral recourse to the racial prejudgement and questions about her mixed race identity. Her early inspirations include Afro-American music, reggae and music by other mixed race artists addressing thigs she struggled with. She was also part of a hiphop group.

As a young writer, composer and singer, she always raised questions in her texts, whilst carrying a message of positivity. In 2003 Thaïs Diarra went back to her roots, travelling to Senegal which became her second home. Here, she met renowned rapper Didier Awadi and in 2004, was welcomed as a member to the PBS Radical group. Together they toured Africa and Europe, where Thaïs did recordings and collaborations.

thais.jpg

In 2005 she met Swiss musician cum producer Fred Hirschy (Tumi Molekane, Fredy Massamba), with whom she collaborated on a regular basis. The results of this musical cross-pollination are evident in Métisse – Thaïs Diarra’s first solo album. Recorded in Switzerland and Senegal, the essence of Métisse is in its mixture of African instruments such as kora and balafon, with new American soul vibes.

Several famous musicians participated on Métisse, including Didier Awadi, Fredy Massamba, Gunman Xuman and Noumoucounda Cissoko. Texts are in English, French, Wolof and Bambara. The album speaks of tolerance and hope, on exile, persecution and the day to day difficulties faced by Africans living at home and abroad. Thaïs Diarra’s mellifluous voice takes us on an odyssey, raw and heartfelt, to a place of discovery, meetings and celebration.

REVEALED: Gloria Muliro’s Ex-Husband Had Tried To Pray For His Marriage But It Was Too Late

It is now evident that Eric Omba, former husband to estranged singer Gloria Muliro, had seen the storm coming in their marriage and had tried stopping it with prayers.

However, as fate is, his prayers could not work this time round as Gloria Muliro made her mind and called it a day in their five-year marriage.

Eric had tried desperately to pray for the marriage through a song he released three weeks ago in a bid to save the marriage from breaking.

In the song, Eric begs God to help his marriage even as temptations hit hard.

the song Sibanduki sees Eric gather hope amid temptations and difficult times that he was going through but everything seemed to have nose-dived by the time he was releasing the song.

Here it is:

Because Dubai Selfies From Sidika & Huddah Are too Mainstream, This Lass Decides to do a Video!

Dance with me Audio Producer: Mastola Frank (Congo)

Video Director: Billy (Greece)

Artist: Serah Sarah (Kenyan)

Video Locations: ( Continental)

Guest Appearance: Ice Prince (Nigerian)

The Debut music Video was released to the public on the 7th January 2015. The concept is about African music being played, heard danced to and appreciated globally/internationally hence the different locations or countries.(taking the music literary to them)

Story begins with two friends, a Kenyan girl and a Russian girl in KIZA (Dubai’s 1st Afro fusion restaurant) but in the end finds herself dancing to her song  in a different Locations with different people.

Shooting it was an experience and an adventure and what is best than to engage a movie Director to spearhead the project. The Talented Greek Director “Billy” is very spontaneous, energetic and loves to capture real moments. “Story, Story, Story” is his philosophy.

Crowds gathered in the different locations as set up was being done, many questions were asked as who this African singer from Kenya was. (some shots were taken in areas where just my skin tone heightened curiosity leave alone the crew and camera equipment which helped a lot for I right away saw an opportunity to do public performances)

The video is set to break the everyday use of flashy women, exotic cars (that Dubai is crawling with),money and alcohol and just for just this once engage the viewer in curiosity and interest to know where the video will take you next.

The one and only Multiple Award winning Nigerian Artist Ice Prince Making an appearance to an upcoming Kenyan Artist to me emphasizes the support and unity among African Artists.

To many this video leaves questions. Like How did this…where is this….who is this…….and why is this…….

Its all about what you can be able to do as an artist that can be seen as different unique and fresh.

With the premier of Gospel Hook Up last November Christians and gospel lovers now have a hang out like their secular counterparts who have many social events. Gospel personalities also have a placed deemed to be unfit for their ministry to hand out and mingle with their fans without any backlash.

The Gospel Hook-Up social event will also reach out to the vast majority who are un-churched using the language they understand best which is music, fun and hook-ups (mingling).

Apart from having fun, the event also hopes to effectively bridge the gap between company owners, employers and the potential employees. I believe we have so many young people who would attend such an event just to boost their chances of getting employed and that is why we have come up with team building activities to help people mingle as they have fun.

The date to mark is 8th of February 2015 at Arboretum Grounds from 12pm-6:30pm. The event will be headlined by the popular Adawnage band who will provide live quality mature music together with MOG, Bern and Guardian Angel.

We will have games like pool table, Fussball, PlayStation 4, Poker, Karaoke competition for friends and team building activities among other things.

The guest artists who will attend the event are Mercy Masika, SOC, Holydave, Ruth Matete, Ambassada, Hope Kid, Benachi, Dk, and Mr Seed with many other yet to confirm attendance.

Terry Anne Chebet Gets A New Job!

Her Segment on Citizen Tv Business finally paid off, someone who knows someone else noticed her, reccomended and voila!
Terry Anne chebet found herself a new job!

I am not sure if it is a “new job” since she will still be keeping her post at Royal media, so lets just call it “Another Job” another responsibility for the gracious women of this country.  The Senior reporter and news anchor was yesterday appointed  to the women in Business sub committee where she will be handling media and communications.

In a statement, sort of update that she posted on her instagram, Terry Anne Chebet posted the pic of her new business card, happy at her achievement barely 2 months into 2015.
