Information reaching our desk indicate that Mzee Ojwang’s burial slated for today has been delayed thanks to unpaid bills.

According to Citizen TV, the unpaid bills threatened to delay the burial of the legendary Vitimbi actor who succumbed to Pneumonia two weeks ago. However, they have been cleared.

Mzee Ojwang is a household name in Kenya thanks to his role in the oldest TV show, Vitimbi, which he pioneered and played for over 40 years.

His funeral arrangement has been released. His body leaves Umash Funeral Home for the Kenya National Theatre near the University of Nairobi.

It will then be taken to the Nyayo National Stadium for a funeral service before being taken to Lang’ata Cemetery for burial.

May his soul rest in eternal peace.

The last time we heard of Paul Kobia was at the beginning of this year when he was said to have allegedly bragged about killing Fidel Odinga.

He was then hurdled into a police van at the Village Market but was later released and taken to hospital after allegedly developing mental problems. He was then admitted to Chiromo Lane Medical Centre in Westlands in Nairobi, where he received treatment.

Now Paul is in the news again after making some shocking threats against the so called pastor of impunity, Pastor Ng’anga’ .He has threatened to burn down Nganga’s church following the hit and run incident that claimed a life

Njoka named Uhuru’s goat the ‘beast’ after Obama’s official limo and Ruto’s ‘beetle’ after the Volkswagen Beetle Auma Obama picked her brother with from JKIA when he visited Kenya for the first time.

But the ‘beast’ and ‘beetle’ gave Mr. Nderitu a hard time even before he handed them over to Uhuru and Ruto.

The Maendeleo ya Wanaume Chairman was forced to cut short a press conference and chase after the beast after it broke free from the rope restraining it.

A family in the hilly landscape Tigoni is in mourning after their loved one was snatched away from them in an incidence so cruel.

Martin Mbugua survived the accident but his wife Mrs. Mbugua died in the accident where Pastor Nga’nga’s Range Rover rammed into their car while speeding and overtaking treacherously.

Instead of helping the victims Pastor Ng’ang’a is said to have ditched the scene using a getaway car which was right behind him. Since the incident which took place over the weekend, the plot has thickened and NTVs Dennis Okari went to Tigoni where he met the family to hear their side of the story. And what he gathered will shake you to the core

“There were glaring inconsistencies in the story of the fatal accident in which Pastor James Maina Ng’ang’a was allegedly involved.

Martin Mbugua, who survived the accident over the weekend, was released from hospital today. Mbugua’s wife, however, died in the accident after a Range Rover hit their car while speeding and overtaking dangerously.

The police have denied that the controversial preacher was involved in the accident despite multiple eyewitness accounts placing him at the wheel of the four wheel drive. It was just the other day that it was alleged Pastor James Maina Ng’ang’a of Neno Evangelism church had killed a motorist in Limuru due to reckless driving.

Reports emerged detailing how the man of God allegedly caused an accident under the influence of alcohol, killing a woman and injuring her husband who was driving the Toyota car before fleeing the scene.

However, Pastor Ng’ang’a has come out to deny the allegations leveled against him, saying that his car has never been involved in an accident and that he is with his car.

Speaking to KBC radio this morning to Bonny Musambi, Pst. Ng’ang’a said that people are after tainting his name and he believes this is the work of the devil.

“I am in my car. The red Range Rover was not my car. Just check with KRA and see whose car it was. Yes I was in Naivasha but had left early before the accident occurred. I was in Nairobi when the accident occurred,” pastor Ng’ang’a said.

He also said he is contemplating suing the media house that first broke out the defamation.

Less than a week after he jetted out of the country following a successful three day visit to Kenya, President Barack Obama has been featured in the newest song in town.

The song is produced by Nation FM’s Antoneosoul and it is called Niaje Wasee.

The name of the song is drawn from the greetings Obama gave the crowd that gathered at the UN headquarters in Gigiri when he officially opened the Global Entrepreneurship Summit on Saturday.

Obama wowed the audience when he greeted them in Swahili saying, Niaje Wasee, Hawayuni.

This is the line Antoneosoul has used to release his latest song.

Julie Gichuru also features prominently in the song after she was honoured to introduce Obama and President Uhuru at the summit.

She made headlines with her ululations and these have been featured in the song too.

Mzee Ojwang will be laid to rest at Langata cemetery today. But even before the deceased is buried, Alai has cropped up disturbing evidence claiming the veteran thespian used to rake in a handsome salary from KBC.

Old Vitimbi and Vioja Mahakamani cast were quick to point out they were being paid peanuts during their stint at KBC.

This claim was supported by the kind of lifestyle Mzee Ojwang was living. He died a pauper after serving the national broadcaster for over three decades.

But don’t be quick to hurl insults at KBC without hearing what controversial blogger Robert Alai had to say about claims Vitimbi and Vioja cast were being paid in bananas.

The whistleblower claims Mzee Ojwang was pocketing UNTAXED salary of Kes 300,000 a month. He says most of the thespians who worked for the government-owned station were banking Ksh 250,000 per month.

Alai further claims the departed veteran actor was infested with poverty because he used to flash his money down the drain at Sabina Joy brothel.

As if that’s not enough, the blogger says Mama Kayai approached KBC a decade ago demanding that they stop working with Mzee Ojwang.

Alai adds that Mama Kayai even led a team that chased away Ojwang from Vitimbi when it was moved to Dstv.

Alai provided a clip showing former Vioja Mahakamani magistrate, Lucy Wangui, admitting Vioja and Vitmbi crew leaved life in the fast lane.

Below is what Alai wrote and the evidence he provided to support his claim:

I have learnt that KBC paid the Vitimbi and Vioja Mahakamani so well.

In fact most of these actors have really invested and have had their children taken to Western schools.

Most of these actors have a starting monthly (not per project) salary of Ksh 250,000. Ojwang’ was paid Ksh 300,000 from 2005 and the money was UNTAXED.

I think that it’s extremely dishonest and careless for Mama Kayai and others to claim that they cared so much about Ojwang’ while they cared to invest their earnings but left Mzee Ojwang’ to die a pauper because all his money went to Sabina Joy joints. Mama Kayai even led the team that chased Ojwang’ from the Vitimbi show which is on DSTV. Why did they go to DSTV without him if they loved him?

They even approached KBC 10 years ago demanding that they stop working with Ojwang’. People need not be dishonest. Mama Kayai we respect you but tell the truth about Ojwang’. Actors must stand up and say the truth. We can’t blame KBC when it fulfilled its obligations.

Obama was here over the weekend and left us with so much optimism after captivating the nation with his oratory skills and a message of hope.

He talked extensively about Kenya and its people, and how we can all make our country the heaven on earth that we so crave.

But POTUS did not leave his host, President Uhuru Kenyatta, without a word about Margaret Kenyatta. The US leader seems to have our history at hand and one of the things he knows very well is the charity marathon that first lady Margaret Kenyatta holds to collect funds for her Beyond Zero campaign.

It is a campaign that has earned the first lady massive plaudits from all quarters. Even haters have nothing to say against her.

And while he delivered his last speech on Kenyan soil on Sunday, Obama acknowledged efforts made by Margaret, and urged President Uhuru Kenyatta to start running with his wife.

They both lost and now they have to pay the price! Kenya’s finest journalists will have to part with a cool Kes 200,000.

Some three or so months ago, legendary talk show host, Jeff Koinange invited his counterpart from NTV to his eponymous show where they discussed a range of issues.

The most interesting part was their bet; the two challenged each other to a Kes 200,000 bet as to who between them would set down with the world’s most powerful man and grill him during his visit to Kenya.

It is without a doubt the biggest continental show which has produced stars such as Malonza Chege, Pokello Nare and Idris Sultan among others.

Word on the street is that the continental show has been cancelled due to financial constraints but M-Net has come out to refute the chitchat.

M-Net has announced that while regional Big Brother shows are being produced, including Big Brother Angola and Big Brother Mzansi, the continental version of the show is currently on hold.  Big Brother continues to captivate audiences in each market in which it is produced, and the move to regionalize the show allows producers to re-evaluate the direction of the show.

Devil worshiping in high-school is not an isolated 2015 thing, it has existed since time immemorial, much has been blamed on mass hysteria, with many denouncing the whole idea of devil worshiping as a harmless ploy to destabilize education in institutions- Maybe it is, which probably explains why such cases of Devil Worship are not common in colleges and campuses. 

 Robert Alai Shared the following letter of suspension  that was handed to a student who was suspected by the school administration of being a devil worshiper. 

The latter details the schools conviction that the said student is indeed a devils worshiper and details the criteria under which the student will be accepted back to the institution: Spiritual counselling and repentance till the student reforms- the letter further details that the pastor who will perform the exorcism should attach a letter of proof that he/did so. 

So how  did the school come to the conclusion that the student was indeed possessed? 

For the last one week so much has transpired within our confines. But nothing fascinated us like the visit by the most powerful man on earth, Barack Obama.

It all started with Kenya being called a hotbed of terror ahead of Obama’s visit, but as it turned out, the only hot thing the world saw was the reception the Kenyan-American man received in his late father’s land.

And during his maiden visit, all local and international media houses  were so occupied with covering the whole thing.

Questions were asked, some very insightful while others seemed very casual. And there were critics too. Those who wondered why some Kenyan journalists are half baked. Why they ask fake questions. Why they ask questions that do not meet what they expected.

And one of the critics was business mogul Chris Kirubi. Through his twitter handle, Kirubi angrily said Kenyan journalists are not considered for interviews because they have no questions to ask.

And now Larry Madowo has responded to him, though not directly. Through his Daily Nation column, Larry has blasted those who think by possessing a Twitter handle you qualify to be a critic.

He wrote:

 “… In the midst of the hot mess of international reporting out of Kenya, whom did everyone on social media attack?

While Obama is an idol in Kenya (children and places have been named after him) thanks to the fact that his father was Kenyan, Americans have differing opinions about their leader.

And they are not just opinions but opinions laced with racial discrimination and hatred which continue to show the world the racial discrimination eating into the American society.

While some believe Obama’s administration has tried to better the lives of Americans, majority who commented on an article on Obama’s visit to Kenya drafted by ABC News sounded racially discriminative, full of prejudice and hatred.

Yesterday I came across a picture that Colonel Mustapha had posted on Instagram and I felt nauseated. (You can see the pic here) I felt like I had a heavy bout of Malaria. I thought the fella had served us enough garbage after Dodoma Singida. But then he unleashes more sewage material right into our faces.

For once I feel sorry for Mustapha. The man who was once a great artiste has now been reduced to a despicable, desperate porn0graphy cohort. The man who gave us classic hits like ‘Teremuka’ and ‘Mona Lisa’ has morphed from a clean, respected artiste to one of the most infamous, scandal-strewn, disgraced and disreputable idiot of our time. It’s sad indeed, Let’s all take a moment and weep for Mustapha. Done? Okay let’s continue.

Not only has Mustapha transformed into a perv but he’s also a whiny brat who complains about everything including the rising and setting of the sun. All Mustapha does nowadays is concoct faux outrage deliberately designed to stir up unnecessary controversy where it shouldn’t exist.

Something has gone terribly awry with Mustapha’s life. Things are getting steadily worse. He has become almost a parody of himself. Suddenly all his compelling glow of genius has been displaced by clich-éd shocking claptraps. He has swapped natural brilliance for attention-seeking antics.

I’ve watched this undeniably supremely gifted man descend into a pantomime freak, on and off stage. As his music has got less popular – he’s been neglected by most stations, for being ‘irrelevant’ – so his stunts have grown more grotesque, desperate and riddled with outrageous hypocrisy.

I always hate seeing someone I once adored free-rolling down the hill so if you are reading this Mustapha, do something about yourself. Your former fans (including me) are bitterly disappointed in you 

As Obama winds up his historic journey in Africa, Americans are turning against Kenyans to give them a share of their criticism.

The US President has roots in the country and this is the reason every Kenyan feels a sense of belonging whenever his name pops up. And so Kenyans literally seem to be worshipping Obama in the eyes of the world and specifically Americans.

This was manifested when a child born during Obama’s visit to Kenya over the weekend was named after the plane carrying the leader of the free world, Air Force One.

The news of the little baby boy has been received with mixed reactions, with Americans taking the advantage to roast Kenyans on social media.

In an article about the child done by ABC news, Americans commented, mocking Kenyans for being too petty on very small issues, with some saying that Obama does not deserve such affection from Kenyans because he is a shitty leader.

The music industry, the internet and the general male population have touted Victoria Kimani as some sort of sex symbol.
