Tourism Cabinet Secretary, Najib Balala, was quickly flown to Nairobi for treatment after he collapsed at an event in Narok County after having a meal.

The Deputy President, William Ruth, Narok Governor, Samuel Tunai, were some of the high profile guests at Narok County Investment Summit where Balala fainted.

The Standard reports that the Tourism CS passed out at the VIP tent after having a meal with the DP and Narok governor.

The CS was rushed to the nearby the Serena airstrip where he received first aid before being airlifted to Nairobi for further treatment.

There is no official communication from family members or government regarding Najib Balala’s condition.

Tom Alai was killed by a speeding motorist who stopped in the pretext of taking him to the hospital only to dump him in the bush.

His brother has been in the hot pursuit of the men responsible for his death and within a span of two weeks, Robert Alai has managed to track down the runaway killers.

The blogger has dug up all the information regarding the killer motorists including their family members, and he’s still giving them time to turn themselves in.

Alai identified his brother’s killers as Isaac Towett and Mark Bowen whom he says are brothers and are also sons to former mayor of Nakuru.

As if that’s not enough, the blogger says he’s tracking every movement the killer brothers are making. Believe it or not, Alai is willing to forgive them but he wants them to pay for their crime.

“Accidents can happen to anyone. I knew who the culprit was from the day I learnt of my brother’s death. The guy didn’t leave his home with intention of killing my brother. He just had an accident. The biggest mistake he committed was throwing the body of a human being in the bush. That is inhuman. Even the most evil people are never thrown away like dogs when they die. You don’t do that to people, dead or alive.

How it works still baffles even the the most decorated of Scholars. 

A Kenyan man who is well known in Githurai Kimbo for his promiscuity met his karma yesterday, the story goes of how  he is seen during the day,gallivanting from stall to stall talking to ladies and boasting of his above average “firm strokes” in bed. 

Women are fond of him, he’s a lovable chap, neither too handsome nor too rich  but totally good for it, he has, according to reports, bedded a great deal of women earning himself the nick name “Irungu Gathenge” a worthy  comparison to a male goat known for it’s insatiable sex drive. The men don’t like him that much, he has been  a constant nightmare to men who don’t live with their families (probably because of the nature of their jobs)- he lies in wait for the men to go work  before pouncing, seducing  and bedding his neighbors wife. 

Yesterday, however, Karma came to him- her guns blazing, spoiling and raring to avenge the anguish that Irungu has caused in Kimbo.

Mutiysa left his house at around 6.30 in the morning for his workstation along Kenyatta road, a short distance from Juja, he left his newly married wife in the house as a sentinel until he returned in the evening. Seeing a golden chance Irungu, our testosterone charged man took it, pretended to be seeking directions before inviting himself into Mutisya’s house and seducing the young wife. 

His charm, glamour and pizzazz paid off soon enough and the girl decided to give him a free VIP tour of her body with a chance of dipping his magic wand into her needy love pocket. 

Irungu, not a time waster, pounced on her and proceeded to strip her before getting ready for his tour of the Himalayas- the tour went on well until our greedy friend decided it was time to use his wondrous, famous magic wand! 

Abracadabra! Went in the wand – but unlike his other encounters- this time round he was unable withdraw and enact his special “firm stroke” maneuver. For you see he was stuck!

Apparently. Mutisya, neither too wise nor to foolish had gone to a juju man to get a potent spell of nailing  whoever tried to dine from his hotpot.

No matter how hard he tried, he could not extricate himself, and his predicament hit an incline when the young lady learnt of their situation and let out a blood-curdling scream bringing neighbors who stood close by, laughing ad taking photos of the helpless couple. 

Mutisya was summoned to help but chose to take his time, he came 2 hours later to an exhausted couple  and a sizable crowd that had gathered to witness the mid day drama. After much deliberation with his friends it was decided that Irungu would be whipped before paying a fine of 15 thousand shillings as some sort of mitigation for damage caused, in addition upon paying the fine, he was to pack up his belonging and go  far away  from Kimbo as possible.

Shortly after release, Irungu got a dogs beating and had to part with his phone and shoes until he brought the agreed fine.

I was rushed in for an emergency C-section and I unfortunately did not go through the healing process as expected.”

I went through major child birth complications if anything I almost lost my life thanks to giving life to another human. I suffered from an uncommon condition called cecal perforation that happens to only a few women in the world and chances of surviving is very minimum. I was the only woman who survived from this condition in Nairobi Hospital because the lady who suffered from this condition before me did not make it out alive. Cecal Perforation is a rare condition where a persons caecum gets a hole or perforation causing waste that is meant to be excreted to come back into the body ,well thats what I understood in my layman English” she wrote.

A condition that was caused by having a C section. A condition that had her wheeled into surgery 3 times in 3 weeks and blood clots in the lung.

Some people have no feelings at all. A cruel stepmother was caught on camera torturing a child who was barely 5 years old.

The child had assumed horizontal position facing downwards and the brutal woman was smacking her behind with slippers.

She didn’t want the child to move or look at her while she was whipping her. Things escalated when the young one started crying in pain and changed position to stare at her stepmother as if begging for mercy.

The psychotic woman then lifted the child by her cheeks, shook her, turned her upside down and carried on assaulting her.

Ever more disturbing, there were other adults nearby who did nothing to stop the woman from abusing the child.

But why has Hussein quit music when has boasts of numerous club bangers?

“Nasikia vibaya sana na inaniuma sana kuwaacha Watanzania kwa style kama hii, ukiangalia kwa hali ya haraka haraka huwezi endelea kufanya kitu ambacho hakikuingizii kwa sasa kwa hivi kwasababu maisha yamebadilika, huwezi kuwa unafanya muziki tu unatoa muziki wenyewe hauigizi.”

Translation: Hussein Machozi can’t make hit song anymore.

So how is he going to put food on the table?

Translation: Hussein Machozi is working on a project that will transform his life and enable him to sustain his lifestyle.

The said project is anonymous. Forgive me for speculating the singer will return to his old ways of shagging rich mommies.

The Tanzanian singer was busted working on a politician wife in a Mombasa hotel in 2014. Hussein was also seen in a viral picture get seriously cozy with a white mommy. Plus there have been other numerous accusations against the rapper for being a toyboy.

This week, CNN International’s ‘African Start-Up’ features Kevin Mulei, a Kenyan DJ who runs Nairobi-based events planning company MoSound Events.

Kevin Mulei launched his company in 2008 to fill the gaps he saw in the events industry. Today, MoSound Events is one of Nairobi’s most popular event planning companies, employing 82 people full time and around another 200 temporary workers.

Mulei tells ‘African Start-up’ how his journey began: “The idea of starting MoSound Company came when I would go for events as a DJ. I would find out that the sound system was not good and so was the coordination. I felt there was a good opportunity to fill up the gaps.”

Once the idea was formed, the next challenge was breaking into the industry, Mulei tells CNN: “I was a young guy, very passionate but I didn’t have access to people who could guide me and show me the next step and in that season I made a lot of mistakes. Today when I look back I now can say some of those mistakes have brought us to where we are.”

‘African Start-up’ heads to the outskirts of Nairobi where MoSound Events has its studio and storage facility. As the team prepares to set up three separate events all in one day, Mulei tells the programme: “One truck is full right now, we have the second truck which is half way full. I know we will be done in 30 minutes and we will be good to go.”

CNN goes with MoSound as they set up at an event. Here Mulei directs the team, telling them: “Check Sound, Check lights, we are good to go. Let’s do another check. Standby- Let’s roll.”

It’s MoSound’s driving philosophy which has earned the company the confidence to plan and deliver big events like the Global Entrepreneurship Summit, which was held in Nairobi last July.

Mulei shares his experience with CNN and gives advice to entrepreneurs across Africa: “The most important thing is your passion and not the money. Discover your passion, cultivate it and you will be amazed at how much you can transform Africa.”

The film shot entirely on location in Ukambani, Machakos to be precise, revolves around the story of ‘the betrayal of Jesus’. It so happens that Ticha who is Jesus (played by Babgee) is involved in a duel for a lady with Judas (Collins Ochieng).

This angers Judas and the fact that Ticha always wins with the ladies in Ghetto Semane infuriates him further. Judas decides to seek some advice and that’s when Petero (Biko Nyongesa, Sense8) comes in.

Over a weed session, he taunts and laughs at Judas but also advises him to ‘halla mtotoo’ and take her for a date. Judas complains how he doesn’t really have
the cash but Petero is quick to inform him that ‘mabeast wanasaka Ticha’ and there is some great cash given to whoever will sell him out. Judas gets
the cue and goes for the kill. Of course we all know how the story ends.

When I first saw the cover I honestly was tempted to dismiss it as another cheap shot to attention. It is only the Swahili part which got to me and I was eager to see how the artist, Kenyan pop singer Dela would pull this off.

She and whoever else helped in translating have done an excellent job. The cover retains the original song’s theme, emotions and rhythm but still holds its own strong character.

It feels like an original Swahili RnB song hardly misplaced. The production team did an awesome job too here. The guitars are in full range from the rhythm to the bass you get depth without being clouded by a charade of beats.

This is a beautiful song, how close or better to the original one is upon you to decide but it is splendid work all round and Dela’s vocals make the hook memorable and lingering long after you are done with it.

53-year-old Pastor Timothy Ngwu of Vineyard Ministry of the Holy Trinity, has been having a leeway smashing female faithful in his church.

The Pastor impregnated and sired children with both married women and young girls as he executed the holy spirit’s command.

A number of the married woman left their husbands to live with the pastor after he commanded them to do so claiming it was a direct order from above.

Tired of his philandering ways, Pastor Timothy’s wife sold him out to the cops. The wife says she was sick of her compound being filled with children of all sex that her husband had fathered.

At the time of his arrest, a total of 20 women and their daughter were pregnant with Pastor Timothy’s unborn babies.

The country is still reeling from news of the mass graves discovered in Mandera.

The bodies one of the victims is said to belong to one Isnina Mohamed whom Interior cabinet secretary Joseph Nkaissery dismissed as an Al-Shabaab cook who fled into our country through our porous borders.

Nkaissery also called the claims of mass graves ‘false and alarming’ and wanted the journalists who apparently peddled the information to apologize. Journalists Mohammed Ali and Yassin Juma were among those told to apologize to Kenyans for spreading false information with Mandera senator Billow Kerrow also being told to apologize.

 

Mohammed was once again referred to as an Al-Shabaab sympathizer with Nkaissery saying “This young man called Mohammed Ali has had a habit of permanently putting the security of this organ (security organ) at the expense of Al-Shabaab. He has been painting the security force of Kenyans forces in a negative light while painting the Al-Shabaab as positive.”

He then issued a dire warning to Mohammed on live TV by saying “By tomorrow morning if he doesn’t apologies the consequences are grave.”

Molo: A major part of your journey started off at Calif Records, how did you get your start there?

Raudy: I met up with Clemo at some function I went to and I was one of the artists performing, he liked my act and invited me to his label, that’s how it all started for me.

Molo: You were in a group known as Kanobyz with Laety and Oby, How was the group Kanobyz formed? Did you form it before or after recording at Calif Records?

Raudy: Yes I was a Kanoby. We formed the group after recording at Calif. We formed the group through the help of one of our buddy called Tito, a calif records officer, he actually came up with the name.

Molo: How was the song ‘Siwezi Mind’ recorded? What inspired the song?

Raudy: Oby came up with the idea and called me on it, we felt like the initial idea was empty in way and needed something extra, maybe a feminine touch? Haha  that’s when we called Leaty on it, took it to Clemo, he liked it and the rest was history.

 

Molo: What made you leave Calif Records? What events took place?

Raudy: Since childhood I’ve always had a hunger for trying new things.  I wanted to start my own label so I talked to Clemo about it and he was cool with it. He liked the idea so he wished me luck.

Molo: You worked with Size 8 before she took over the music scene. She was known as Linet then, and you two did the song ‘Size 8’. What was she like?

Raudy: Size 8 was fun working with and very active in all that I ever saw her do. We toured a lot of places together. She is a kind person with a good personality, I guess that’s one of the things her fans love her for.

 

Molo: What were some of the memorable times being with the group Kanobyz? Will the group release another project together?

Raudy: Many people came through when we met up to do the ‘Siwezi Mind’ video and it was a great experience. We also hosted a show to celebrate our artist Juacali and it was a lifetime experience. About Kanobyz releasing another project, I don’t think it’s possible right now maybe later. You can’t relive the past.

 

Molo: You went on to change your name to Vikki Ocean, why the change?

Raudy: In a nutshell, Raudy had his time, it’s Vikki Oceans time, it’s time to be more responsible and gain the only thing I can ever leave this earth with- good works. Raudy doesn’t mirror that well.

Molo: What is new about the music that you are making now, do you still do genge?

  Raudy: My music has become more mature, more artistic and real, and yes,at times i do genge when i feel like, it’s fun.

Molo: So what keeps you busy when you are not in the studio? Family? Work?

Raudy: Just work, I have a cloth line, I spend most of my time running it when am not at the studio

Molo: What are some of the things Kenyan artistes need to improve on?

Raudy: I think Kenyan artists need to improve on their music videos, how they  manage their  music also needs to change.

Molo: Who are some of the producers you see yourself working with in the near future?

Raudy: Eugene Austine, Babbz on the Track and maybe Timberland.

Molo: What new music can we expect from you?

Raudy: I have an album coming out soon, so there’s a lot of new music you can expect from me

A few weeks ago, his case was revived again ( for reasons that have not been made clear) Blaqy was taken to Makadara law courts where he was charged with dangerous driving, again. 

He is currently being held at the industrial area prison after failing to raise the determined cash bail of a 100, 000 (a hundred thousand) Yesterday, a close friend of him went to visit him- he came back with a heartbreaking story of a Kenyan artist with a broken spirit, everyday he spends within the confines of the facility breaks  him a little more especially with the cry of injustice against him.

Blaqy sends forthwith a message to the Nairobi Senator, Mike Sonko and his personal friend Jaguar. “Come to my rescue sirs, I’m sufferring” 

 

If you thought Xpat Mkwanja song was a bit explicit even if in a satirical manner, then wait till you meet this Nyeri Town Catholic Church.

Well, this church is strongly against condom use and to send the message clear, it used one or its sponsored organizations, its apostolate Human Life International to erect a big black banner at a Whispers Park, a public park in Nyeri Town.

The banner had a grim message to condom users. It had a skeleton and the startling message; ‘FAITHFUL CONDOM USER; ONE OUT OF 12 CONDOMS FAIL’

The message clearly did not please anyone least of the governmental and non-governmental organizations tasked with tackling Aids and other STIs infections. One of them, the Nyeri Constituency Aids Control Committee is being accused by Human Life International for bringing the banner down.

The officials deny involvement but are strongly against the message it advocates saying it is against their campaign to achieve ‘Zero’ infections and it is also backwards. The church though remains adamant in its preaching of the message which is something queer. Here is the banner

There is fire burning and this time around not on Kenya’s backyard but deep within the confines of Jambo Marketing.

The mobile telecoms operator has landed in trouble with the Betting control and Licensing board (BCLB) after it was accused of breaching the authorization it has been awarded in operating betting operations.

Previously being awarded a provisional license to offer services in regards to online gaming, they decided to take it a notch higher by getting into mobile phone based gaming something the regulator was not very happy about.

This was communicated in a statement first published on Business Daily and which was drafted the Boards Chairman, Musila Wambua. And it read in part; “We wish to confirm that a notice has been issued to Jambo Marketing to cease to advertise for sports betting or other gaming activities not permitted under the Pilot Online Gaming License it was awarded.”

In turn it was also copied to the 3 biggest mobile operators in Kenya; airtel, Safaricom and Orange who provide the wallets and act as the link to the customers.

Normally, companies are required to apply for a license to a specific area of operation and Jambo Marketing had strictly applied a license to provide online gaming. Them delving into other areas was seen as nothing but a violation of their license.

Jambo Marketing runs a sports betting business under the Betway Brand Name and it has been operational since July this year to offer interactive gaming services. According to the BCLB CEO Charles Wambai however, they have been operating on a pilot license since 2013 something he failed to expound since the matter was still under investigation.

According to Business Daily that first published the story, Jambo Marketing failed to comment on the matter by the time they went for publishing but in turn their license is fully terminated, then participating subscribers stand to lose a lot of money.

The current debate on WhoIsKing among the top leading heads may go on forever and boil down to a matter of fan loyalty and taste but no one doubts Juliani’s high placement in the Hip Hop all time ladder.
