“I Will Shag Your Woman Soon” Arrogant Fan Tells Chipukeezy

Last week, Comedian Chipukeezy was outed with a few other celebrities whose Lungula game was found to be  wanting.

Now, the article that first appeared on Ghafla collected moss as it rolled downhill prompting one of Chipukeezy’s fans to question his idols prowess in bed. The hard hitting question was asked to Chipukeezy’s girl who was tagged on a status that Chipukeezy had shared on social media.

“Your guy is lousy in bed ..according to Ghafla news… he tops the list by the way.. your take?”

Chipukeezy’s answer was colder than the question “Go ask your mother..”

With his ego bruised and his prowess brought to question, Chipukeezy went from sober to stark raving mad in seconds.. roasting a certain Corey Constantine who had asked the question.  At some point Chipukeezy directed his bile towards his woman who in turn replied to the banter as:

“Don’t be rude darling….” the girl implored her boyfriend. Chipukeezy then went ahead to stand by his woman saying that he was not going to take any bull crap from anyone, especially not  anyone who was disrespecting his woman.

The Whole Nation Is Standing With This Young Girl. From Celebrities To Politicians…Please Read… And See Why Everyone Is On Her Side.

When he first sent me that email,I will admit I didn’t even open it. Leave alone read it. On my line of duty,I receive many mails daily… Most of which, given that I am a showbiz blogger, center around music and the arts and the desire for publicity.

So when I received this mail, with a title about medical finds and stuff,I breezed through it. And opened the next mail telling me what I actually wanted to read; A new exquisite strip club along Ngong Road that was now hosting debauched lesbian nights every Friday evening.

That is what I love to read. Not appeals over medical or social issues…I thought.

But he didn’t relent. Realizing that I had not replied his earlier mail,he sent another. And another. And another.

In total,Kennedy Omondi had sent me roughly 8 mails over a period of three weeks all of which I had ignored before he decided to show up in the Ghafla office himself.

And at around 10.17am,someone walked right up to me,bent over and whispered ‘I want to talk to a writer….’

I looked him up quickly, pasted something I had already copied on the writing pad and minimized my computer window.

‘Ati? What do you want!? ‘

‘To speak to a writer. This is Ghafla right? ‘ he said in a soft voice, his politeness pouring out into the air.

‘Yes. It is Ghafla..’ I said pointing to Irari the Ghafla editor.

‘Talk to him. He’s the editor… ‘

Ken,clad in some sandals and a oversize shirt that clang over his bony body like a torn flag, walked over to the editor.

His face was gaunt and eyes tired. He carried with him a brown envelope and was wearing a pair of some faded blue jeans whose hem was tearing off and with a belt that had been wrapped and used way too many times.

I went back to my business… Back to typing some article I was working on before leaving for some other job.

I had barely typed a sentence before Ken,politely, walked right up to me again.

‘He’s told me to talk to you… ‘ he, again, whispered… His sorry eyes seeming to placate me. His voice pertinent and body language urgent.

‘Bro… I’m writing… What’s the issue please? Irari… You couldn’t solve this? ‘ I said,impatiently turning to Irari.

‘But he says he has been emailing you… ‘ Irari said, confused.

‘Fine. What’s the issue bro? What’s up? ‘ I asked, barely liking up from the computer, afraid my train of thought would be wrecked.

‘OK.. I’m Ken. Kennedy Omondi… I’ve sent you many emails… About a child who… ‘

‘Wait… You’re the one who’ve been sending me emails about some medical appeal thing!?’ I asked, looking at him.

‘Yes. It’s Me…’ he said. Smiling weakly and attempting to sit next to me.

‘Sure. Sit. Sit…. Wait… Can I first publish this article!? ‘ I asked, quickly pressing some keys.

‘Sure. Sure bro. No problem. Can I wait outside?’ He asked, rising up and wanting to walk out.

He seemed to think that he was a bother. An unwelcome intrusion. And a waste of everyone’s time.

‘No… No… No… Sit. Just sit… I’ll be with you in a minute… ‘ I said,pulling the chair towards him.

Sighing,he sank into the chair. His face sombre and I could almost feel the nervousness breaking out of him. Silently,he clutch on to the brown envelope… His fingers still fidgeting.

And in 10 minutes,I was done editing and publishing an article. And then I turned to him.

He managed a simple smile; one that still betrayed his sorrow and unease. His pain and anxiety.

And that’s when he started… He started telling me the story…

The story about the many times he’d attempted to reach me and get my attention for something that was now going out of control…

11057776_946685998739328_4366945418601712145_n.jpg

The story about how he’d been living with his little niece, who was now 1 and a half years old and who,to this minute, had not yet started eating or crawling or mumbling. And who also had not quit breastfeeding…

The story about her birth… And her name…

Emily is a young girl who has not yet seen her second birthday but is already more troubled and has been in and out of hospitals many times than I have in all of my years into adulthood…

I took a pen and paper… And let Ken talk on… His eyes close to welling up. And his face wearing a whole new mask of optimism and hope…

Little Emily was born on 28th May 2014 as the last born in a healthy but humble family of five . But after sometime, her doting parents Benedict Adongo and Linet Aketch noticed that the little girl’s growth was stunted…

She,for instance, wasn’t adding any kilos and even after six full months, she gained a measly 2 kilograms on top of the normal 3.4kg she was weighing at birth.

And at five months,Emily’s parents noticed her irregular breathing pattern which was accompanied with restlessness, acute respiratory distress and the fact that she had started becoming unusually hungry every so often.

This prompted them to seek advice from experienced mothers in their Radienya Village and unfortunately ,not much help was accorded in the village especially from these bunch of women who were evidently new to this condition and weren’t exactly experts on how to deal with such an occurrence.

The persistence in her unusual condition prompted her mother to visit the local hospital where she was referred to Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and referral Hospital in Kisumu County.

At Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Hospital,Little Emily was examined by the doctors who then referred the parents to a Christine Jowi,a renowned cardiologist.

Hoping against hope, Mr. and Mrs. Adongo were able to honor the appointment with Dr. Jowi at Hurlingham Hearts Clinic in Nairobi for further examination. And needless to say,the news was nothing better. Little Emily had a severe heart condition. It was officially stamped.

The news was a complete blow to the humble family of 7. Heart complications, they knew, were the worst news you could probably get regarding your child. And anyway,Little Emily was now officially suffering from a dreaded heart condition.

Emily could only be saved through open heart surgery which is not offered in Kenya.

11219730_948307591910502_3140838517614089541_n.jpg

Things were so bad that Dr. Jowi had to immediately write an Urgent Letter to Kenyatta Hospital… Outlining Emily’s struggles, manner of illness and calling for her urgent treatment. In India.

Here actually is a snippet of the long letter, riddled with cryptic medical jargon that Dr. Jowi drafted for the Kenyatta Hospital.

‘The above patient was referred to me from the Jaramogi Oginga Teaching and Referral hospital on 17/11/2014 for evaluation of a systolic murmur heard while she was undergoing treatment for bronchopneumonia in their facility.
When I saw her she was a sick looking child who was small for age with a weight of 5.3kg. She was diagnosed with systemic desaturations of 85-88% oxygen on room air……….Baby Emily suffers from complex congenital heart disease namely type 1 truncus arteriousus, large secundum atrial septal defect, with severe pulmonary hypertension…… Baby Emily requires urgent surgical intervention mainly open heart surgery which involves Homograft reconstruction of the right ventricular outflow tract and patch closure of the ventricular and atrial septal defect. This should be done on an urgent basis before irreversible pulmonary hypertension sets in…….Homograft surgery involves use of human tissue which we are unable to offer locally due to legislative constraints. It is with this in mind that I recommend surgery in India which is cheaper than other centres especially western countries……… ‘

‘Armed with that letter,we set off on our arduous journey of finding urgent treatment for this little one…. ‘ Ken continued, his voice now almost completely gone and looking tired of even narrating the whole story. Over and over again.

‘So what did you do next? After learning of her terminal condition?’ I asked, putting my notebook aside.

‘We embarked on an immediate plan to save her and her life… This year has been hell…

Her parents and I knocked on almost every door. We tried contacting Mike Sonko… Kidero… Uhuru Kenyatta. We approached each and every media house with this story… Hoping they’d listen and enable us raise the Ksh. 1.5 million needed for the heart surgery in India…

And to be very honest with you, all of these media houses ignored us except QTV and Family TV.

I took my story to QTV around June 2015 and they were welcoming. Dr. Jowi even accompanied me to QTV for the interview… I’ve never seen a more dedicated doctor… She has been like Emily’s mother since then…

And after we appeared on QTV,we were then connected to Family TV from where Emily’s story was told even further. And with those two interviews,we managed to raise as much as Ksh. 140,000. And that was the start of Emily’s healing. It was. It was….

‘So what exactly do you want Ken? What do you really want people to do for you!? ‘ I asked, puffing out and touched.

Ken told me what he needed. Told me that Emily needed a Christmas cheer. A Christmas card worth only Ksh. 1.5 Million.
‘So you guys need Ksh. 1.5 million for Emily’s India trip and treatment?’

‘Yes… 1.5 million. ‘

‘Just that? ‘

‘Yes. Just that Cabu Gah. 1.5 million. That’s all….’.

11221474_946943712046890_5310089143211643980_n.jpg

Ken was now really almost speechless. Unsure whether he’d find help. Unsure whether I was the right person to be talking to. Unsure whether I would even follow up. Unsure I’d even bother do the article.

I looked at him hard and said in one resolve, ‘Ken,I am Cabu Gah. I used to run a Facebook page and 90% of what I did was raise funds. I don’t have the page no more. But we have God. And we have caring humans. If they care, they’ll change your daughter’s life. In a snap….’

Ken’s face lit up.

‘Yes. I mean it. It’s Christmas. Millions of Kenyans are about to spend thousands upon thousands of shillings in bars and clubs. Including me. We will set aside a few beers for your daughter this holiday. We will. I will…. ‘

Kenyans,I ask you, with a humbled heart and a deep conviction, to kindly step in for Emily.

She needs a Christmas cheer. A Christmas card. A Christmas gift…. Not just for this Christmas but for the rest of her life.

Baby Emily needs ONLY Ksh. 1.5 million for a surgery in India.
I hadn’t planned to spend my Christmas with some strange girl I don’t even know. But I am forgoing a few beers, a few meals and a few clothes for her.
I guess this is what Christmas means. And I have heeded the call of the Lord.

Heed it too,I ask. Heed it please.

‘Can you get me better photos of Emily? Clearer photos please? As soon as possible?’ I asked Ken before he left. “Yes. I am travelling to the village by Friday. Can you wait please?”

‘Sure. And all the best…’

Heartbreaking:A 10 Million Land-cruiser Goes Up In Flames Along Forest Road . (photos)

10 million Kenyan shillings went up in flames last evening along forest road.

According to information first shared on social media by Michael Khatelli, the locomotive went up in flames and burnt to the ground leaving an empty shell of its former self.

This is one of the many cases of cars catching fire, most notably was a Mercedes benz on the same road and a pricey BMW X6 that got razed to the ground a few kilometers past Roysambu.

Whether it is due to a fault in the wiring or just mechanical mishap, the trend is indeed worrying as the National Transport Authority  urges Kenyans to subject car to scrutiny before making any purchases.

And The Award For The WORST Awards Event Of The Year Goes To…..Pulse Music Video Awards. Oops.

If you’re a magazine that has existed for like a gazillion years,a magazine that we practically grew up reading through our tumultuous teenage years,a magazine that’s backed and rolled out by a publishing giant,in fact, the oldest newspaper in the land, you’re honestly expected to have some clout, manage to pull a show, put out some remarkably historic show and do things as epic as epicness itself. But that’s not always the case. If we have to start with last night.

Friday night’s PULSE AWARDS,confusedly christened PMVAs,was a tragi-comedy.

There were so many wrong things with the Awards Show it ended up looking like a botched ISIS invasion.

To start the tragedy off,it was,or appeared to have been like an Invites-Only affair. Trouble is,none of the esteemed invites cared to show up. And then everything, and I mean, everything went downhill from there. Things got so messy,so absolutely calamitous it started looking like a hurried cult recruitment ceremony.

And to make matters worse, the event was beamed LIVE on TV. So all that lack of success was witnessed by millions of hapless viewers nationwide. Most of whom had a field day gleefully roasting the ceremony on our greatest avenue of angst ; Twitter.

From the word go,nothing seemed to go right. 98% of the nominees didn’t even show up. Leave alone climb atop the troubled stage to collect their ‘Award’.

According to sources, only Kristoff and ummm who else? I forget, showed up. Jaguar came too. And left early. You don’t keep a busy man with State House connections stuck in your quandary for long.

Ok,to be fair,a few other celebrities did actually show up. Trouble is, they’re so unpopular we can’t even remember who they were anymore.

The hosts for the night was Shaffie Weru and Mwalimu Rachel. And within the first 30 minutes of the shambles,Twitter had already concluded that Shaffie was drunk as fuck. Or high as a kite… Whichever comes first.

12373219_452052248334451_6337556743289528754_n.jpg

As for Mwalimu Rachel, well,it was roundly decided that she should stick to radio. You cannot have a laughter that annoying and still inflict further pain on people by letting them see you. Laughing. Disastrous.

Mercy Masika, the greatest Gospel artist of all time, did actually show up. And put on a killer show performing the one song that ruled the airwaves throughout 2015. If only she’d start going out more and wearing less… Wait what!!?? Haha.

Papa Dennis, the gospel musical project, performed too. And then went back to the irrelevance he’s accustomed to. And everyone was happy.

Jamal Gaddafi, that television terrorist, did show up too. Bringing along his absolute lack of TV skill into the show too. And heavily disturbing Twitter. Only thing he excelled in,or ever excels in,is fashion. He’d look so much better if he never ever talked. But thank God,he succeeded spectacularly in muddling up the already botched show even further.

The show itself was held at the classy cinema hall IMAX… But at some point, the stage looked like a High School Drama Festival stage… And the lighting was as horrendous as the guy who decided to refuse to supply the event with more than one microphone. Or at least two.

12314086_452052211667788_2234595750782213757_n.jpg

Vera Sidika, who had sustained a vigorous campaign on Social Media asking her fans,or whatever to call those people how follow her,to vote for her as the Video Vixen of the year, didn’t even bother showing up. But on a Friday night,Sidika’s bedroom must have had more action than IMAX itself.

Owago Nyiro was there. But isn’t he always everywhere? I bet he’s coming for your nephew’s baptism later today.

Kenzo showed up too but just like I told you earlier, nobody showed up.

The red carpet wasn’t any better. It looked like the launch of a Farmer’s Sacco. Or a County Youth Initiative.

Bahati won Male Artist of the Year. Or something like that. And nobody was surprised. Or amused.

At this rate, they’re soon going to give him the Best New Female Artist Award and nobody will even notice. Our national entertainment is made up of Bahati and Kaka Sungura anyway.

Also, there was a huge outcry on Twitter from disgruntled fans who felt like it was wrong to NOT make the event public for all thus not just succeeding to fill up the empty hall but also making regular fans attend the show and get to meet their beloved celebrities all of whom were absent anyway.

From beginning to end,the show was a train wreck. Amy Winehouse (RIP) would have pulled a better show even in the mid of her drunken stupor.

Before the show was even half way, discontented Kenyans on Twitter started wondering why they were even watching the show in the first place. I saw someone say she’d rather go back to scrubbing her kitchen floor than watch a sloshed Shaffie goof it up on stage. And I supported her.

Even Miss Mandi, the Countess Of Bitchiness, didn’t miss the opportunity to throw shade. And just like her punches, she went hard.

Smitta Smitten,The Standard’s genius writer and acclaimed poet was there too. He’s Pulse’s premier writer anyway. Everything would have turned out great had he not decided to totter onto the stage and turn the whole event into some poetry symposium.

12341061_452052228334453_5493900179175531259_n.jpg

Blunders aside,many Awards were won-and lost-last night.

Hart The Band won Best Group Video,Sauti Sol scooped the Best Collaboration,Vera Sidika, the conspicuous absentee won Best Video Vixen,Avril won Best Female Video for a video that was released 16 minutes ago,Rabbit won Best Cinematography and everyone else won everything else.

Kagwe Mungai, the number one lady killer also did throw some killer show. But not a very killer song. You know you’re doing it wrong when you jump on a dying social media catchphrase and quickly morph it into a song. Fail.

Overall,PMVA is a ceremony that didn’t have to happen. And if it did, didn’t have to go that bad. And end up as such an eyesore.

Congrats to the winners though. 95% of them weren’t a surprise. We’re sort of used to them winning.

May the glaring blunders of the inaugural PMVA teach us many lessons. Many many lessons.

That was a night. And a half. Phew.

3 Years later Socialite Huddah Revisits Her Beef With Mustapha!

A long, long time ago, there was not a bigger name than Colonel Moustapha in the showbiz scene. He headlined every little gig, and was on everyone’s lips as the new talent in town.

Mustapha seems to have lost his flair, not even an attempt to redeem his name with a song about twerking and booty could brighten his dull.  Three years later and socialite Huddah reminisces on the scandal that made her famous, the Huddah- Moustapha debacle.

Though it was later revealed that despite the rather “intimate photos”  the two were never an item and Mustapha was never in the same league with the now full blown socialite. Earlier today Huddah revisited the scandal, saying that,  the song that she was a vixen in never became a hit past the  studio.

Is the socialite rekindling the beef that she had with the Lenga Stress hitmaker or was is just a slip of the tongue?

Janet Mbugua-Ndichu Shows Off Her Seductive Post Pregnancy Body. Eddie Ndichu Is a Lucky Man!

It’s hard to believe that Janet Mbugua just gave birth a few months ago because her body is just the bomb now!

Janet this morning sent social media into a frenzy after she showed off her sylphlike post-baby body and it seems she has hit the gym, but she probably hasn’t  since she delivered through C-Section. And i hear it takes time before you are medically allowed to hit the gym .Anyhow, whatever she has been doing in order to look so good after only a few moths seem to be working.

The 32 year old mother of little ‘Huru Ndichu’  showed us that she has still ‘got it in a pair’ of black skinny jeans and a grey statement t-shirt . Check her out below:

Willy Paul May Be Controversial But He Still Has The Bragging Rights Over ALL Gospel Artists In Kenya… Including Bahati. See Why

Willy Paul the menace! The singer may be shrouded in a sea of controversies but amazingly, he has managed to have the edge over ALL other gospel artists in Kenya.

For a while, there has been this unending debate over who between Willy Paul and Bahati is the prince of gospel.

Well, the answer to that depends on who between the two you like. Bahati won in all the categories he was nominated for in Groove Awards while Willy Paul walked home empty handed.

But then again Willy Paul still has the bragging rights over all gospel singers not only in Kenya but in East and Central Africa.

Radido made history for becoming the first gospel artist in the region with over two million views on YouTube.

‘Tam Tam’ has garnered over 2,003,662 views and Willy Paul can’t stop beating his own drum. Bahati’s ‘Barua’ is about to clock a million, currently it’s at 999,089.

“God’s grace is sufficient.. A year ago God made me the first East African gospel artist to hit 1,000,000 (1million) views on YouTube with the song sitolia.. And now He’s done it again… In a much bigger way.. I want to thank everyone for always supporting me… I love you.. Without forgetting my mama Gloria Muliro and my sister Size 8. Without their support Sijui ningekuwa wapi. They believed in me even when the worse was being said about me.. Asanteni…. They mean a lot to me.. So before I release a unity song today… Just know that I appreciate you all” Wrote Willy in part.

Kenya’s Richest Singer Ditches Mombasa After 9 Years, Check Out Her Palatial Apartment in Nairobi.

Everybody’s favorite dancer has left Mombasa after nine 9 years.

Many of us know her from the jam Djele Djele, a fast paced song by songstress Akothee who last year threw a magnanimous birthday bash at the imposing 5 star hotel, Sankara.  Though not everybody’s cup of mocha, Akothee has quite the loyal fan-base, especially our brother’s from the lake. What she lacks in a melodious voice has been made up for with by lifestyle that would make the Duchess of Cambridge jelly. It is an ipso facto, fact of the matter that Akothee is one of the richest musicians in Kenya.

Now after living at the coast for close to a decade now,  Akothee and her 5 children bid the coast goodbye and flew out to Only-God-Knows-Where.  In a post on her social media, the diva wrote:

“Mombasa was real, 9 years of fun mpaka nikatoka na vikombe , a real example of a nomadic woman searching for a greener pasture!yaani pastoralist. See you someday #mombasa I miss you already ,I will climb mountains for my cubs #teampositivity #teambigfive”

Judging from the recent activity on social media, Akothee has relocated to Nairobi or has she finally found a “husband” to move her from her from her 5 bed-roomed apartment to a six bed-roomed apartment?

Citizen TV’s Kanze Dena, Papa Shirandula’s Chausiku, Inspekta Mwala’s Lavender Take Up New Roles As Judges At Catholic University

The very best in the media industry were selected to seat on a panel that would choose 18 students for a mentorship program with gospel queen, Christina Shusho.

The past weekend saw students and their parents and guardians drawn from across the country converge at the Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA) for the 2015 finals of Dreamz Come True.

Churchill Raw duo, Mchungaji and Mtumishi was the opening act to usher this year’s Dreamz Come True Finals. The comedians cracked up the audience with their witticisms which not only entertained the crowds but also was a challenge to both parents and students to nurture their talents.

The judging table was celeb-laden just to show how big this talent show has become, among them; Citizen TV’s Kanze Dena, Inspekta Mwala’s Lavender (Sarah Atieno), Vioja Mahakani’s Judge Lucy (Lucy Wangui), Mother-In-Law’s Lisa, Papa Shirandula’sChausiku (Priscillah), Radio Maisha’s MwalimuSakwa among others.

Tanzanian Gospel songstresses, Christina Shusho gave a rousing performance performing her hits ‘Mungu Mkuu’, ‘Mtetezi’, ‘Nipe Macho’ , ‘Nang’ara’. Also in attendance was gospel singer, Geraldine Oduor.

Citizen TV’s Kanze Dena called on parents to nurture their children’s talents saying like many others including her were making a living from their God-given talents.

Vioja Mahakani’s Judge Lucy challenged parents to let their children chase their dreams and become what they would like to become. She urged parents never to snub their children’s gifts and enroll them in Africa Nasaha’sDreamz Come True for sharpening of their gifts.

Amos and Josh’s publicist, Muthoni Wachira, also a renowned public speaker, revealed how her parents fostered her strength in public speaking which earned her an ambassadorial post at USAID as a public speaker.

“Parents I urge you to tap your children’s talents because they are not wasting their time. I earn my living from my talent”. said Muthoni.

Afro pop duo, Amos and Josh performed their hit, ‘Baadaye’ and went on to encourage the students to follow their talents and challenged them to take advantage of mentorship programmes like Dreamz Come True.

Mother-in-Law’s Lisa (Faith Nyagah) referenced a lot to her life as she spoke about success in life. She recounted how she lost a KSh100,000 job because of indiscipline in terms of punctuality. Since then, she learnt to be disciplined and time-conscious. A graduate of Maseno University with a Degree in Drama, she challenged students to be first self-disciplined to make it in the talent industry. She also asked the students to commit their talents to God.

“Commit your talents to God. Begin your journey with God”, urged Faith.

The Founder and Producer of Dreamz Come True, Francis K. Mwangi popularly known as Jimmy K recapped how he was bitten by the acting bug back in high school when he and his friends would creep out play-acting as old men in order to beat the security and teachers. It’s then that he was discovered and went on to be a great thespian before joining the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC) then joined the Kenya Drama Festivals as a playwright. However, he felt the need to do more and that’s how he founded Dreamz Come True to nurture students’ talents right from high school.

At the end of it all, 18 of the best students taking part in different categories were selected and will travel to Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania with one-on-one mentorship with Christina Shusho.

The next Dreamz Come True season starts in 2016.

‘How Does She Wipe Her Buttocks?” Lillian Muli’s Unfortunate Fashion Fail Leaves Kenyans Asking Weird Questions

Fashion fails and Lillian Muli are just two things that you ever hardly hear of, I mean she is like the most stylish celebrity we have around.

But even the greatest fashion divas fall once in awhile. For some it’s a slit that went too far up or patterns that clashed too hard leaving them looking like a confused checkerboard or even worse wearing the Confederate flag.

And as for Lillian her fashion fail was her manicure. We are used to having Mrs. Kanene in tasteful, beautiful and trendsetting nails but her latest choice left a lot to be desired.

lil_h.jpg

During a recent news bulletin, Lillian was in some Cruella-Deville like nails, the kind of nails a hawk would use to capture a mouse and guys had questions regarding the nails. And in usual Kenyan fashion, some of the questions were highly inappropriate!

Here are some reactions to them:

Holiday Madness: Oduor from Pipeline Get’s Dumped for an Old Guy After Promising to Take Girlfriend to Mauritius for Christmas and Now He Can’t Afford. Sad!

Christmas is here people! Let me guess, you hadn’t planned for it had you? I know the year tends to move a little too fast that is expected and now here we are, with loads and loads of unfulfilled promises. I hope your promises were not as exaggerated as my friend’s Oduor though?

Last year in the heat of passion with his new found lass promised that they would be spending this year’s festive season somewhere in Mauritius; to him it wasn’t that serious…it’s just one of those things you say in the middle of….you know what….because it’s just so sweet. Lesson 1 in dealing with women, they never forget.

So here we are now and Oduor has nothing….he can’t even afford a road trip Naivasha and the lass in hearing none of it. Actually she’s threatening to elope with some old guy who has been making moves on her for the longest time now….at least he can afford a night of debauchery at Malindi which is much more enthralling than spending Christmas at the local nursing a black ice. Now Oduor is on the brink of depression and he has even stopped eating.

As his boys we feel for him but what can we do? We are all in the same predicament. Just so many responsibilities and very little money to spend; the country is in a cash crunch remember? I bet your mum needs a new dress, your old man a 12 year old bottle of Chivas regal and well your significant other, I think everything.

But in the wake of all this woes, there is at least something to look forward to….a splendid time with family enjoying some scrumptious chicken and it’s all courtesy of Kaymu. I was there perusing the interwebs for some holiday offers and I stumbled upon their exciting offer.

Kaymu_1.png

So apparently starting today until the 22nd, they will be giving out a free chicken to one lucky winner. And that’s not even the best part; the exciting part is how easily you can become a winner. The chicken will be hidden in the various categories so you can easily spot them as you go through the website for more of their out of the world holiday offers.

Omosh- the name of the first chicken to be given out is up for grabs as we speak so stop wasting time here, rush and scoop him of course as you await for the Mbuzi which will given on the 23rd. That might be the only thing left to save your holiday cheer!

Machakos Eyesore: Governor Mutua Responds After Larry Madowo Shared Viral Video Of Doctors And Nurses In Machakos Hospital Refusing To Attend To Accident Victim (Video)

Ever since County Governments came into operation, Machakos County and in particular Machakos Level 5 Hospital has always been the public health facility that everyone said was a model to emulate. But after a viral video exposed the rot at the hospital, not many will hold that perspective.

Is it that the government is employing coldhearted psychopaths as doctors and nurses? A while ago a patient at Kakamega hospital died after battling for her life for 14 hours while receiving no attention from doctors and nurses.

Another case of negligence happened at one place that you wouldn’t expect health workers to neglect patients.

A Good Samaritan took a victim of hit and run accident to Machakos Level 5 Hospital and he had such a difficult time convincing doctors and nurses to attend to the man.

Jacob Ouma (Jobby) captured the shocking moment on his phone and NTV’s Larry Madowo shared it online until it grasped the attention of Machakos Governor, Dr. Alfred Mutua.

“I have instructed my Minister for Health to undertake investigations and to take appropriate action concerning the poor treatment of patients at Machakos Hospital’s casualty.
Human dignity and professional conduct must be exercised. Machakos will not tolerate shoddy and unprofessional conduct by its officers.
Due to Maendeleo Chap Chap, Machakos hospitals are the cleanest and most organized in the country. This, though, has to be matched with efficient and caring services, kindness, proper medical care and respect for the dignity of life. What happens in other regions will not be tolerated in Machakos.” Governor Mutua’s reaction to the video.

Ghafla Exclusive: ‘My Sudden Fame Made Me Live Beyond My Means and That’s Why I’m in my Current Situation ‘ Denno from ‘Mbona’ Admits

Denno, the visually impaired and immensely talented singer from ‘Mbona’ recently made it back to the spotlight in Bahati’s ‘Story Yangu’.

His comeback however did not come without its share of controversies. Bahati was accused of sowing seeds of hatred between artistes by saying that Denno was still impoverished despite his ‘Mbona’ fame. There were also accusations that Daddy Owen Pocketed the royalties earned form ‘Mbona’.

Denno has however come out to clear the air.

bahati_and_dennoo.JPG

Speaking about the 1 Million Daddy Owen supposedly gave him, Denno said that “The million shillings was not given to me, they held an album launch with the money. Adding that Daddy Owen didn’t establish a business for him and as we speak he does not have any business to call his own. “Biashara hakuniwekea, hakuna biashara nafanyanga.” He said.

What about the royalty money, did he get any of it?” I have not received any royalties, I went to MCSK last year August, then I found out that there is no money. Mbona is not under my Name so I was not entitled to any royalties. The song is under Daddy Owen’s name. I am supposed to get a direct percentage because I’m a member of MCSK, but I didn’t get even a cent.” Denno revealed.

But despite not receiving any royalties, Denno admits that Mbona made him famous and he got gigs on his own. But Showbiz life was a bit hard for him and so he started living beyond his means.

“There are expectations that come when it depends on fame and I could not keep up. I am still living beyond my means because I became famous.” The ‘Mbona Hit maker admitted.

But despite what went down with ‘Mbona’ Denno said that there is no bad blood between him and Daddy Owen saying that they are still amicable although they do not talk as much as they used to.

He then went to Bahati’s defense saying that “Bahati just wrote about my life, he did not point anyone out. I have been very happy for the last week; I’m back to the scene. I have registered the song with Bahati but he has given me 100% of the royalties.”

Bahati is not the only one who has come to his rescue; Jaguar will be paying for one of his recordings and Denno has promised that this time he is here to stay.

In Pictures: Nazizi’s Secret Wedding In Lamu (Photos)

Wedding things! The first lady of hip hop looks stunningly gorgeous in her wedding gown.

A celeb is getting hitched every passing Friday and weekends. We heard Mother-In-Law’s Charlie and Esther Kahumbi walked down the aisle over the past weekend. But Nazizi??

I am not a fashionista but Nazizi’s wedding gown, that what I would recommend most brides to wear during their big day.

Anyway, Nazizi Hirji aka hip hop first lady sparked tittle-tattle after she was spotted in a lovely wedding gown in Lamu.

Ahem! Don’t allow your eyes to play tricks on your mind, the rap goddess didn’t wed per se.

The ‘Jump and Shout’ hit maker rocked the spectacular wedding gown to feature on Samantha Bridal Magazine.

Nazizi is still single, I hope so.

Revealed: Bishop Kathy Kiuna Daughter’s Private Wedding In Photos

The Kiuna’s lost their daughter Vanessa last week on Friday to a Lucky gentleman of Caucasian origin who walked Vanessa down the aisle with the promise of  endless marital bliss.

It was a hush hush event devoid of riff-raffs and saw only the close family friends and relatives grace the white, lime, baby pink and black affair. The photos were even harder to come by, (the rich never photos- or so it  seems) we could only follow developments through celebrities like Dj Moh who was the official deejay at the private wedding or Chris Kirwa who was part of the event as well.

Anyway, the couple is here:

That was before the couple walked down the aisle to a lifetime of glorious sunsets and endless bliss. See the photos below;

Drama As Shauri Moyo Pastor Said To Be Poor In Bed Walks Home From Church Vigil To Find His Pregnant Wife And Church Choir Master Banging… Pastor Goes Insane And Beat The Man Silly (Photos)

Church madness ehh! A pregnant Mama Kanisa and wife eater church choir master shocked Shauri Moyo residents after they were found eating the forbidden fruit.

Cheating spouses have continued flouting rules governing the institution of marriage that nowadays cases of promiscuity are starting to become a norm.

Drama was witnessed in Eastland’s Shauri Moyo estate after Redeemed Salvation pastor walked home to find his expectant wife and church’s choir master doing it in his matrimonial bed.

Pastor Tobias Mayuka went for a church vigil in Industrial Area on a Friday night paving way for Alexander Otiende to smash Mrs. Claire Nyaboke, the Mama Kanisa.

According to neighbors, Otiende had regularly been visiting Mr. Tobias’ home but they didn’t suspect he could be eating from the same plate with the pastor.

The wife devourer frequented his lover’s house in the guise of dropping and picking church choir’s equipments.

That fateful day, Mrs. Nyaboke is said to have sneaked in the choir master to ‘harvest’ her when her four kids were deep asleep.

“Nlimuona alikitoka kwa Mama Gloria saa mbili hivi. Tuliskia mvutano kwa nyumba ya mchungaji usiku kabisa na venye tulienda kuangalia, tulishangaa kupata pastor anapigana na huyo mwanaume.” One of the neighbors explained.

Witness say Pastor Tobias walked back home around 10pm to collect money he had forgotten in the house only to find another man eating his rightful fruit.

The man of cloth says he knocked his door for a while but nobody answered. His daughter later on opened the door to let him.

He rushed to his bedroom to pick Kes 5000 which was in a bible placed on a stool by his bed. He found his pregnant wife all sweaty and trying to dress up.

He didn’t suspect anything but when he saw half dressed church choir master bolting out of his bedroom, it dawned on him the wife was being ‘eaten’ by another man.

The unlucky Otiende in a hurry to run for dear life rammed into the table on his way out, and the raging pastor caught up with him in the living room before he could collect himself and vanish.

The pastor wiped the choir master’s face with numerous hot slaps as he sounded the alarm to wake up neighbors.

By the time people were flocking his house, Mr. Tobias had dragged Otiende back to his bedroom. Neighbors assisted him to tie his wife devourer but that was after they gave him a dog’s beating.

Meanwhile the wife claimed her reason for sharing her husband’s fruit with another man was because the pastor was ever busy and couldn’t tend to her sexual needs. And when he did, he underperformed as he was a one minute man.

Forget The Insane Mourners Who Ran Away With The Coffin Of Fallen Citizen TV Actor, These Mourners Vigorously Danced With A Dead Man On Their Shoulders (Photos)

What happened to the ‘last respect’?? Drama in funerals seems to a tradition that is slowly gaining momentum in the society.

A month ago, Gor Mahia fans invaded the funeral of the late Citizen TV actor, Aggrey Okello aka Bokello, and disappeared with the coffin only to return it later.

While Bokello’s case was a shocker to many, wait till you see another strange incident where mourners turned a funeral into a dancing carnival.

Four men who were carrying the deceased coffin lifted it up to place it on their shoulders before two of them broke into a dance shaking every bone in their flesh.

One of the dancers even stopped holding the casket only balancing it on his shoulder as he passionately shook a leg.

City Prostitutes Drug, Rob And Ditch Meru Man Opposite Nation Center (Photos)

One Godfrey Mwenda Bundi was drugged and robbed of all valuables in his possession and left in the CBD to sober up.

Yesterday evening, Mr. Godfrey Mwenda was discovered staggering along Kimathi Street by passersby. Many thought he was another typical drunkard who was wasted on a Thursday evening.

It was until a man who recognized his face revealed that Mr. Mwenda wasn’t drunk that everyone seemed to be concerned about him.

The man said he saw Mwenda in company of ladies whom he thought were hookers judging by their dress code and how they were behaving.

The witness said the three ladies were all over Mr. Mwenda and they could possibly have slipped the drug in the plastic cup he was drinking from.

Even more baffling, the man couldn’t comprehend how Mwenda made it to Kimathi Street in his condition.

Some of the people in the crowd hinted the thots could have led him there so that he couldn’t be discovered close to their den.

Too Much ‘Lungula’ Takes Its Toll on Huddah’s Petite Body

Before gaining continental fame in Big Brother Africa, self-styled solicited Huddah Monroe registered a dramatic weight-loss that had her looking painfully thin.

A look she attributed to a wild past that involved a heavy consumption of drugs. Apart from the weight loss, Huddah also apparently suffered from low blood pressure before she got clean.

Huddah has now witnessed some major weight loss, but don’t panic! She is not on drugs, she has just been busy chasing the paper and having a good time in bed!

A Day After Bob Collymore Declared His Wealth. Another Big Boss Declares His! People Have Money

It is the season to be festive and it’s also the season to declare your wealth among the elite community.

The road was paved by Safaricom CEO Bob Collymore who revealed that he earned about 10 million per month and he has assets worth about 277 Million Kshs.

Next in line is KCB CEO Joshua Oigara who said he is worth 220 Million and earns 4.5 Million Kshs per month.

He declared his wealth because he felt that Kenyans need more transparency is a country that has been brought down to its knees by corruption. This is what he said “My public declaration is driven by the need for us as private sector players to initiate greater transparency. Kenya is bleeding from corruption mainly driven by secrecy in organizational operations. Corruption takes away equal opportunity and hurts growth by consuming funds which could otherwise have gone into social and economic projects like health and education.”

Misfortunes Galore: My Phone Goes Off A Minute Before A Coffee Date With One of the Hottest Women in Nairobi…. This Is How I Handled The Situation. #BeThaAce

I was finally getting to meet meet Kelly over coffee after courting her for a great many days. Chivalry taught me to exercise patience, not to rush her or things, everything would fall into place like loaded dice, at the right time.

We planned our coffee date for a Wednesday night in town after work. Unfortunately for me, working with a media company meant that I stood to break promises every now and then if something came up.

Something did come up! 15 minutes to the planned meeting time- my boss requested to attend an event along Kiambu road which went well into the night, I called Kelly and mumbled an apology.

“Hey boo? Something came up, can we rain check to some other time, please”

“Yeah, it’s whatever, I had a feeling you wouldn’t show up anyway” She replied curtly before hanging up.

Let me spare you the onslaught of trying to tell you how I managed to convince her to meet me again, this this time over ice-cream. We, however, agreed to meet out of town and chose Limuru road as it was a little more convenient for her.

Hours whizzed and the D-day came, I could not even keep still, I would call her incessantly, reminding her of how I had longed to see her wondrous face and drink in her bedazzling smile.

Evening came and she sent me location to which I was to use Google maps “Hey Tony, see the location attached, the place is called Cold Stone, they have awesome Ice-cream. Cant wait to see you xoxo”

The gallant gentleman in me could’nt keep a lady waiting, I left and headed for the ice-cream joint, We all know how crazy traffic can be along Limuru road especially with that hustle and bustle of the nouveau riche leaving their day jobs and making their way home- It was the craziest traffic you had ever seen. It took almost an hour to move a distance of 2 kilometers.

Kelly was already getting restless and there I was, praying that my phone which was on 27 % charge would not go off before I got to Gigiri.

The traffic jam took two hours to ease, two hours of standing up my date for the second time, I was already getting feverish by the time I got to Village market, needless to say that my phone went off immediately I tried calling her to assure her that I was still showing up.

I was without a phone, and I hadn’t quite grasped the directions. When I got to Gigiri, I sought the ice-cream place but Kelly was nowhere to be found- she seemed to have left, It was two hours thirty minutes later anyway.

I sat down and started charging my phone, that is when the messages came in.

“It is a shame that you had to lie to me again, who does that?” read one.
“How hard is it for you to say that you can’t show up rather than keeping me waiting for you? And the worst of all you just switch your phone off”

I was devastated, how was I going to explain that mine was a horrible phone that kept going off at odd hours? When I needed it most?

Did I even tell you that I lost a job because my phone went off and the interviewers couldn’t call me? Anyway, let me not digress.

I decided to let Kelly calm down and call her in the morning. I got home with a resolve, it was time to let go off my old phone. No need to keep holding on to the past anyway.

Early the next morning I walked into a Samsung shop at the Hilton arcade. I didn’t have a lot of money on me but I still needed a phone that would be good on the battery, take awesome photos and still surf the Internet speedily.

An attendant showed me the Samsung J1 Ace, the cheapest, first 4G phone In Kenya, a worthy improvement for people who love watching clips online. Not to mention the Camera that has an f2 shutter that allows you to take clear photos even in low light. The shocker was on the price though, the phone was at the time retailing at 9,999 which meant that I could get two phones with my budget!

I bought the phones and planned a surprise attack for Kelly the following week, she was having a mini birthday at her office and I had the courier deliver the phone and a nice bouquet of flowers.

Later that afternoon, she sent me a message saying:

“Thanks so much T, this is the best gift I have ever received from anyone, can we meet up in town after work? Coffee on me?”

With the J1 Ace in my pocket, this was one date I was not going to miss. Catch up in the next episode, as I tell you how our date went down. Life is good on the J life lane!

In the meantime, you can check out or buy  the phone that I bought her by clicking here

“We Cannot Run The Gospel Ministry Like Jicho Pevu…. !” Eric Omondi Takes Shots At Bahati.

A few days ago, Bahati released a music video which was intended to highlight the plight of Denno, a fellow  gospel artist who was allegedly ripped off the loyalties from a song he did with Daddy Owen.

Kenyans came forth, shooting from the hip, moved by the pitiful song attacking Daddy Owen for fleecing a blind guy who is now reported to be living in abject penury.  Denno, who was later called by Kiss 100 reported that he had not received any monies from the proceeds of the song “mbona” from Daddy Owen, even with the latter insisting that Denno had been paid all that was owed to him.

Who was fooling who? And why was Bahati- a purported do-gooder caught up in a melee that he was not part of to begin with?

See also: EMOTIONALISM: Why I Think Bahati Is Using Denno’s Blindness For His Own Selfish Gains. I Don’t Trust This Boy Bahati At All! I Don’t Believe Denno’s Story Either!

Earlier today, Eric Omondi reprimanded Bahati on social media  who he felt was trying to make a name for himself by pulling other people down-  The post begun thus:

“..Dear Bahati, when you get to the top by pulling your brother down then yours will be a free fall. You can only make your face brighter by staying in God’s presence like Moses did. You cannot make your candle brighter by putting out your brother’s candle. We cannot build an industry where artists thrive by showing us just how bad others are… “

I tend to agree with Eric’s line of thought, Bahati cannot fully substantiate his claims that Denno got nothing from the said song- Instead of talking to Daddy Owen first, he decided to do a song about it…

Eric went on to write.:

“..We cannot do ministry the same way Muhammad Ali runs Jicho Pevu. By seeking what could be dirty in our brothers and exposing it to the world . We must go the  go the christian way, that is Biblical , call your brother and talk to him in private. Mathew 18:15 . We must get back to God! and begin to avoid sideshows…”

I could not agree more on  this deliberation- It almost seems as  if Bahati was trotting for attention by using Dennoh and being the usual “Cry baby”

Eric finished the post by writing:

“.. and now by the grace placed upon me by God as your big brother in the ministry and industry, I admonish you and plead with you, let it be the last time you write to us a long letter  concerning another artist. You make  good music, keep doing that and bless the nation , that is your calling- You are a great artist and minister of the gospel.

God bless you.

Eric later pulled down the post Which had been probably drafted by another person before he took it up and posted it.  We however took screengrabs cus we fast like that and you can see the snippet below.

I agree with Eric (or whoever wrote that)

Daddy Owen Responds To Claims That He Used Blind Singer Denno For His Own Selfish Gains And Left Him Languishing In Poverty

A few years ago, Daddy Owen and Denno worked on one of the most beautiful songs we have ever had the pleasure of listening to, ‘Mbona’.

Recently Bahati revealed that Denno was living in squalor despite getting a hefty sum of 1 Million Kshs from daddy Owen. Involuntarily raising the question of what happened to the Royalties earned from ‘Mbona’ which was on constant replay in Kenya. Did Daddy Owen steal Denno’s royalties?

Denno on his part said that he did not get the 1 Million Kshs and didn’t even get any royalty money.

denno2.jpg

Daddy Owen has come out to refute claims that he used Denno for his own selfish gains telling Heads Up that:

“I have been seeing the exchanges online and as a sane person, I decided to  go face the brother. The whole family (Denno’s) and I had a meeting where we settled everything or so I thought .” he said before adding that “Despite everything, I will not hold any grudge against anyone because I have been in this industry long enough to know that these things happen.”

Who do you guys believe? Daddy Owen’s account of the story or Denno’s?

Club Madness: Renowned Nairobi Exotic Dancer Spreads Her Legs Wide Open To Pound Her Genitals Repeatedly With A Block As Revelers Cheer Her On (Video)

Kwani how hard are her genitals?? She repeatedly hit her private part with a light concrete block until it shattered into pieces.

I think her name could go down Guinness Book of World Records if there is no other stripper who attempts such kind of a dangerous stunt.

Revelers in a city nightclub were treated to a rare spectacle when a cute stripper decided to ‘turn down’ the tradition pole dance and instead decided to do it with a block.

The exotic dancer lied down on the stage, spread her legs 175 degrees wide open then took a concrete block and started pounding her private part as if trying to kill a rat that had attracted her attention while trying to creep into her cookie jar.

And the audience was full of excitement seeing the gorgeous lady hitting her genitals until the concrete block split into pieces.

He’s the only artist in Kenya who seems to have mastered the trick that other musicians are yet to discover.

He used to live down in the Rainbow Nation but opted to return back home in Kenya to pursue his music career.

C2K may not be Prezzo famous but the rapper is slowly scaling the Kenyan industry to become one of the industry’s heavyweights.

C2K has dropped songs like ‘Lupita’ and ‘Baba While You Were Away’ which have turned out to be great hits. Numbers don’t lie so check his song on YouTube and confirm for yourself.

The rapper will be releasing ‘Kidero Grass’ at Bacchus Lounge this coming Friday the 11th December 2015. C2K will also be the celebrity bartender for the night.

Michelle Obama is incredibly polished, elegant and extremely articulate but that does not mean that she cannot rap better than the most gangster rapper you know.

Socialite Huddah Gets Very Naughty With A Male Stripper At A Popular Night Club! (video)

Anything for money folks!

Huddah was yesterday hosting a party at a well known club along Ngong road-  where judging from the snippets that Ghafla has salvaged online, it was a complete mad house that almost turned into a full blown stripper joint.

From the video attached below, you can see female strippers straddling a pole and twerking in reckless abandon as the onlookers egg them on, cheer them on two twerk more, give it their best shot.

Huddah who was at the joint was not left behind either and was grinding against a male stripper at the joint  while cheering the strippers and  egging them to do more.

See a snippet of the video below:
