The gossip mills have been on over drive with news that Avril’s fiancé; a South African investor had broken up with Avril and was now dating the beautiful Dillish Mathews.

This was after Dillish and Muga (Avril’s fiancé) were spotted having food together on Valentine’s day in Namibia while Avril was in Kakamega where she was slated for a Valentine’s day performance.

 

 

Dillish has however come out to rubbish those rumors saying that Muga is just a friend.

Larry flew to the neighboring Uganda yesterday where a pleasant surprise was waiting for him!

The famous NTV Kenya anchor is in Uganda to cover the country’s general elections which happened today.

Larry couldn’t hide his joy when he met two Kenyan babes; Edith Kimani who was doing the same job as him and Cynthia Nyamai who is in Uganda to make sure Museveni retains his seat. Both ladies used to work for KTN.

The NTV anchor confirmed Museveni’s government had shut down social media for security reasons. Uganda is in a social media blackout.

“Uganda blocks access to Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp and mobile money for ‘security reasons.’ Opposition candidates asking supporters to use VPNs.” Wrote Larry.

Shaffie recently shared a photo standing next to East Africa’s tallest man Ritesh Barot who stands at a towering 7’9 and easily towered over Shaffie Weru who is actually tall in stature.

For a long time Churchill Show ruled the roost with its thrilling comedians like Eric Omondi and Teacher Wanjiku.

And so awesome was the Churchill show that every time it aired, everyone was glued before their screens. But something went terribly wrong and the show lost some of its avid fans.

Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko has intensively invested in multimillion shillings property across the country. Have you seen his palatial beach house in Malindi?

Word has it that Mike Sonko owns several houses in leafy estates in Nairobi; those ones we don’t know about but certainly everybody knows about his house in upcountry.

Mike Sonko has built a multi-million shillings mansion in Mua Hills, Maanzoni, Machakos County. But that’s not all that Sonko owns.

Weed is illegal in Kenya but it’s easily available in the streets thanks to the ingenuity of peddlers who have devised clever ways of beating the system.

For instance, which cop would stop a typical mother in the streets carrying a baby on her back to frisk her? Not unless the police received a tip-off.

This was the case of a middle age woman who was busted ferrying kilos of marijuana (bangi) disguised as a baby.

The woman has carefully packed the precious green leaves to assume a shape of a baby resting on her mother’s back.

Avoid drugs at all cost, what happened in Mombasa is reason enough to shy away from things that interferes with your mental capacity!

Amateur videos caught two Mombasa drug addicts desperately trying to uproot a streetlight with their bare hands.

Curious resident recorded the event on the phone from a nearby balcony when he spotted the two men try to rip up the streetlight.

Perhaps they wanted to sale the streetlight to scrap metal dealers but concerned residents couldn’t allow them tamper with the streetlight.

Drama ensued when angry locals confronted the two gentlemen. Watch the video below to see what happened next:

When darkness descends on the city, special nocturnal creatures line themselves up along Koinage Street in search of clients. Hookers too have tussles and they settle them the street way!

Nairobi’s Koinage Street is notorious for the oldest profession. Thots are in plenty on that stretch of road once darkness engulfs the city.

Two whores were caught on amateur video embroiled in a vicious catfight. Passersby couldn’t intervene as they seemed to be all too entertainment by the skimpy dressed ladies.

Of course there were no blows thrown only a pulling of fake hair, tearing clothes and mostly sleeping on top each other and yelling in monkey language.

Former KTN anchor, Cynthia Nyamai, is now a continental brand thanks to her Public Relations Company dubbed Cynthia Nyamai Communications.

Ms Nyamai was the force behind President Muhammadu Buhari triumph over the incumbent Goodluck Jonathan in Nigeria’s March 2015 presidential elections.

Nyamai is now a hotcake in Africa as presidential hopefuls across the continent are in desperate search for her services.

Ugandan President, Yoweri Museveni, managed to hire Cynthia Nyamai to help him extend his 30 year rule by at least five more years.

City restaurants have been a hot spot for thieves who are in search for easy picks. Last December, two Philippine nationals attending 10th WTO Ministerial Conference in Nairobi, were robbed at a city restaurant along Kimathi Street by a gang of women who were caught on camera.

The foreigners lost their mobile phones, laptops among other valuables that they had carried to the restaurant.

Yesterday, a three women gang was caught on camera at Domino’s Pizza along Koinange Street trying to steal customers’ handbags from under the table.

The person monitoring CCTV cameras at the eatery sounded the alarm and security guards sprung into action to arrest the women gang before they slipped.

The three women were paraded and humiliated before being handed to the police. Their photos were widely circulated online.

NTV’s Larry Madowo has fallen out with one of his best friends, Boniface Mwangi, over a trivial issue involving Nancy Baraza.

Larry Madowo and Boniface Mwangi’s bromance came to light last January when they lost their friend James Quest.

Larry, Boniface and the deceased were part of a group dubbed ‘Mwanaume Ni Kujichocha’ which was all about men’s stuff.

Anyway, Larry clashed with Boniface a fortnight ago but the former only talked about his beef with the latter today.

Former Deputy Chief Justice, Nancy Baraza, is the reason why the two buddies clashed. Larry found fault with Boniface’s statement following his interview with Ms. Baraza.

Boniface’s tweet rubbed Larry the wrong way prompting him to talk about it on his column on Daily Nation.

“She returned to public scrutiny two Saturdays ago when she sat down with me for a lengthy tell-all interview. As soon as we announced the sit-down, the schadenfreude kicked in.“Baraza speaks three years after she was fired for threatening a guard with a gun and later tried to bribe her is now playing victim,” tweeted activist Boniface Mwangi. That statement is problematic in multiple ways, without even considering the several inaccuracies he is passing off as fact. She was not fired, she resigned and she denied ever threatening Rebeccah Kerubo with a gun, or even attempting to bribe her.” Larry Madowo wrote in part.

Female singer Phy wowed the Kenyan public last year with her critically acclaimed album Phylosophy late last year.

Well, she is back in the news thanks to her amazing cover of one of Kenyan classic songs done by the then popular group Necessary Noize.  The song Kenyan Boy Kenyan Girl was a chart topper and still remains one of the defining songs at a period when local music was booming.

Given that the original song was done mostly in rap, Phy does her freestyle version singing all the verses and her beautiful voice and poise is something to admire.

Such is her performance the producer of the original song the legendary Tedd Josiah even shared it praising the effort. We can only hope Phy goes on to build her music catalogue and escape the redundancy that seems to engulf every new promising Kenyan acts. Check the video below;

Uganda seems to be the favorite destination for Kenyan journalists; leading media houses are sending their dopest newsmen and women to the 256.

I don’t know why Uganda’s general election is causing such a fuss here in Kenya; I mean Tanzania recently held their general elections and media houses in Kenya didn’t send their top cream journalists to cover it.

But things are different with Uganda’s elections; NTV and Citizen TV have sent their dopest journalist to the 256.
