“How is your relationship with your parents?”
The relationship with her mother is secondary. It is way more important to find out about her relationship with her father.
It is no secret that women always choose their boyfriends based on the personality traits of their fathers. It might sound a bit creepy, but the majority of women end up dating guys who look exactly like their fathers on old pictures.
The best thing that can happen to you is when she tells you that she loves her father and that she has a very close relationship with him.
