Let’s say you happen to be a pilot and one day during your line of duty something out of the blues happens. Immediately after takeoff at JKIA with over 150 passengers on board, something messes up with the engines and they stop running. What would you do?

But not for long as the same press works through day and night to make his life a living hell.

Youth in Homa Bay were offended by Jubilee a billboard that was being erected in Homa Bay and they decided to take action into their own hands.
The irate youth pulled down and burnt the Jubilee billboard saying the region was an impenetrable ODM zone.
Two Magnate Venture employees who were putting up the banner on the billboard were rescued by the police from the angry youth who were baying for blood.

The Kenya Film classification board was established to ‘regulate the creation, broadcasting, the possession, distribution and exhibition of films in the country in order to ‘promote national values and morality’
But since their tenure, the board has been accused of stifling the already suffering film industry by curbing the rights of filmmakers to expression.
They have been known to especially crack the whip on what they consider ‘homosexual’ shows and Nini Wacera and Kaz’s show being the latest recipients of the KFCB whip.
The two stars had their show banned because it apparently promoted ‘homosexuality’ despite the show’s poster indicating clearly that this was just a sex podcast.

Music Copyright Society of Kenya (MCSK) suspended its chief executive officer, Maurice Okoth, in a letter dated March 7th, 2016.
The reason for Maurice’s suspension was his pending criminal cases in court which MSCK said were jeopardizing its operation.
Maurice subsequently resigned from MSCK in April and the royalty-collecting body reciprocated by a putting a humiliating notice on newspaper warning the public from transacting any business with him in the name of MSCK.

Maurice was being accused of mismanaging funds at MSCK. He has been battling in the corridors of justice to prove he was innocent of any wrongdoings at MSCK.

The court threw away the criminal case Maurice Okoth was slapped with on grounds that the prosecution did not lay any basis upon which the former MSCK boss could be prosecuted.

Newly crowned Miss Langata Prison is a psychopath; the uncle of the man she brutally killed has revealed shocking details about the monster beauty queen.
Ruth Kamande Wanjiru stabbed her 24-year-old boyfriend, Farid Mohammed, to death on 20th September 2015 at the deceased’s house in Buru Buru.
The monster beauty queen was presented to court this past Tuesday for the hearing of her murder case. The deceased’s uncle, Edward Gatonye, took to the witness stand to reveal shocking details about Ruth.
Mr. Gatoye told the court he sensed danger in Ruth-Farid’s relationship when he visited his nephew at his Buru Buru house.
He revealed he went to Farid’s place after he failed to reach him via his phone. Gatoye asked Farid why his phone was off and he told him Ruth had blocked it after discovering several old letters from women.
A vexed Ruth left the Gatoye and Farid in the living room and locked herself in the bedroom. Farid confided to his uncle that Ruth was forcing him to let her stay with him. Mr. Gatoye also told the court that Ruth and Farid had only dated for two months.
The deceased’s sister, Serah Waithera, was also called to testify and she told the court her brother’s relationship with Ruth was characterized with all sort of stuff to make someone worried.
“She (Ruth) came to my workplace and introduced herself as my brother’s girlfriend. From then on she would complain to me when they had problems but my brother would deny their relationship. One time I advised her not to force the relationship.” Serah was quoted by the Star telling the court.
The case was adjourned after the witnesses gave their statements, the presiding judge, Jessie Lessit, set November 25th as the date when the trial will resume.

Former SA judge David Ntshangase organized the Mr. Ugly pageant to give a platform to celebrate and recognize those who felt they were ugly and unappreciated.

Recent financial reports have just revealed that churches in Kenya especially those based in Nairobi are raking in billions of shillings every year.
The fact that these monies are un-taxed mean that the net sums every year for the churches are astonishing and even put to shame quite a number of medium sized companies to shame while the leading institutions can comfortably hold their own against the blue chip companies.
With a new law requiring the churches to be accountable and self regulatory, a number of respected church institutions have just released their financials. The top 4 churches easily topped the 2 billion mark. Here are the figures of the top five churches in the past year 2015.
Christ Is The Answer Ministries- CITAM
With 15 branches across the country, one of the most organized churches in Kenya brought home 1.016 billion shillings last year. The church which also owns Hope FM had a huge chunk of that amount, 946 million coming in from offerings and tithes.
Nairobi Chapel
Nairobi Chapel comes in second with a collection of 440 million in total income. Its offerings and tithes contributed about half the amount at 212 million.
Mavuno Church
The church of choice for many young professionals and celebrities raked in a total income of 292 million shillings. Offerings and other forms of giving accounted to 201 million shillings.
All Saints Cathedral
The largest Anglican Church in the country and the center of several high profile engagements and parties comes in a distant fourth but still with a substantial amount at 190 million while collections from church members added up to 171.6 million.
Nairobi Baptist Church
The fifth church in the list has brings in about 163 million per year. Its members bring in 94.4 million in tithes and offerings.
Several large churches have yet to make their financial statements public including Jesus Is Alive Ministries, Jesus Celebration Center and Jubilee Christian Church.
Lillian Muli is now the talk of the town and the recipient of attacks on twitter after her meltdown in Carribea, located in the upmarket Kilimani area in Nairobi.
In the video, a woman said to be Lillian Muli gripes loudly about substandard service and a bad attitude from the waitress.

Suicidal Mustafa Kalule has finally kicked the bucket after three days of excruciating pain! The deceased jumped from a 6-storey building last Saturday and he miraculously survived the fall.
Kalule, who was admitted at the Mulago National Referral Hospital, succumbed to his injuries last night.
It’s not clear what went wrong because Kalule was seen moving on his own in a photo of him that was taken at Mulago hospital.
Deputy Kampala Metropolitan police spokesperson, Paul Kangave, confirmed Kalule’s death.
“The man who police rushed to Mulago hospital last Saturday after jumping from the top of Mabirizi Complex, has succumbed to injuries,” Kangave was quoted by Daily Monitor.

Rapper Wangechi has been in a fierce battle with Tecno Mobile Company for allegedly infringing her rights by using her image without her consent.
In her social media pages Wangechi wrote “I’m not one to raise my voice online but it reaches a moment where you have to fight for your hard work and what you believe in.
In early June Tecno Kenya ran an ad campaign around a new phone and used my image for that campaign. They used my image and likeness in the form of an advertisement which came across as an endorsement of the product. They did not seek my approval or consent for it neither did they pay for the use of my image and likeness, yet after 8 weeks of legal conversation they went silent and deleted all images and videos associated with me.
As an artist our image and likeness is our source of livelihood, it is our bread and butter. It is not okay to misuse and take away from us when we work so hard to build ourselves.”
Following this declaration, there have been a flurry of comments on social media, but this one stood out from the rest. That of someone accusing Wangechi of also infringing on the rights of Redbull by using shots of their video in her video with Fena Gitu.

Apparently Nameless has been in a relationship with Wahu for 18 years and not 11 as many thought. It took him close to a decade just to propose to his sweetheart.
Nameless and Wahu will be celebrating their 11th marriage anniversary sometimes this month. Mama Tumiso has opened up about her first encounter with her baby daddy.
Nameless revealed he met Wahu in 1998 at a campus event at Grand Regency (now Laico Regency). Wahu and Nameless were introduced to each other by a mutual friend.
The two lovebirds had their first official date on Boxing Day at the Wimpy restaurant in Corner House. Thereafter courtship began.
But it would take Nameless 7 years to propose to his wife. Wahu explained the seven years of courtship was for enjoying each other’s company and basically having fun.

They also give you an opportunity to explore your talents.”Ruth said while speaking to KTN
She hopes to start modelling company in future and mentor some youths by getting them into modelling and also teach them about the consequences of crime.

Megan Brooklyn Hawi Osiro came to the world on June25 and the new mum Linda Nyangweso could not help but gush about her little bundle of joy.
