As celebrity babies grow up in the public eye, we get to see their first cute smiles and steps. And just like our own kids, they grow up before we realize it. From birth to first day in school, they grow up into adorable small human beings and very often take after their celeb parents.

Weight is a constant struggle for a lot of women. Even when they’re not trying to get slim, you’re trying to keep that fit figure. But it’s not easy for everyone to stay slim and trim. In 2013 TPF5 winner, Ruth Matete, obviously went an extra mile and gained some weight.

In a photo I recently stumbled upon, the House of Grace worship leader has evidently gained some weight and looks much better than she did in June 2012. Take a look; check well you might notice a bit of a transformation.

Yours is straightened, parted, shrunken and colored for different looks and each one works! When I had my short hair, my two styles were twist-out or “washed my hair and got too lazy so I slept on it and just walked out my house looking like STAHP it!” Meanwhile, you’re outchea giving us the fiercest gumby one day, Frederick Douglas’ part the next and widows’ peak adorabo after that. Kudos to Ted Gibson for whipping your hair #BAGGINFOAF.

Girl, WERK. I love it.

I’ll be watching the Academy Awards red carpet this year just to see you come through and make everyone else look like the help. The face stays snatched and the style remains impeccable.

Then you have the nerve to be super charming, humble (but still OWNING your gifts and talent) AND funny. Your Jimmy Kimmel appearance had me cheesing like a fool. You are everything and everything is you. You’re my newest favorite and I can’t e’em wait to see how far you go in your career.

There are alot of gay men and women in Kenya’s media and that isn’t up for debate. We have heard alot rumours about closeted homosexuals and I can empathize with them: it must feel like hell on Earth to have to deny who you are.

And we know or have caught whiffs of rumours -tantalizing, sweet smelling rumours. Rumours whispered when few are around about media and entertainment personalities. From radio personalities to news anchors to singers, to rappers and down to some of my teammates at Ghafla.

But after Gh! carried the story about Binyavanga Wainaina coming out (which led to the explosion of the gay debate in Kenya). And that has had us all wondering whether Kenyans are finally ready to accept gay celebrities.

Is Kenya finally ready to let go of the stupid, myopic, inhumane and cruel stereotypes and attitudes to gay people? I hope so. But have you say. Will you cling to your understanding of religious teachings and continue to persecute homosexual Kenyans?

I am a Kop. I have been since 2000 and I have no love for Manchurians. I loathe everything the Red Devils stand for. i am happy to watch them slide into oblivion -yet I know that they have too great a heritage to finish below the top 4 even with their current form.

 

That fact will however not stop me from enjoying the fact that they were ;resoundingly thrashed by Chelsea -seems sinister that Eto’o chose this game to rediscover his form cos let’s face it, he has been utter defecate at Chelsea.

But away from all that, it seems I am not the only one who has it in for  Man U, gospel starlet Bahati also seems to have no love to lose over the garbage team.

Collo, King wa Rap has been in the scene for as long as I can remember. He is like a monument in the Kenyan entertainment scene and with enough accomplishments for him to only be grouped with the greats.

Last week, Marya of Ogopa Deejays broke many hearts when she declared that she was going to bat for the other team .This came after a series of bang-la-dashes making a move on her.

Speaking to Cate Mukei the bootylicious babe said that “I’m tired of men who can’t be in a serious relationship. Most of them just want to hit and run. I’m even tempted to become a lesbian. The grass is probably greener on the other side.”

Prezzo is one of the hottest Kenyan artists out right now what with the controversies surrounding his love life with his former Tanzanian lover taking shots at the throne but what most of you did not know is that the rapper was allegedly in an accident just the other day.

 

And do you remember the car he got? The Chrysler Crossfire? He came out bragging about it in the Pulse less than a month ago. Well, for those of you who doubted that it was indeed his, well, he was allegedly in an accident in that car according to our source.

And I trust our source implicitly. The source went as far as to give me details pertaining to where I might find the car and I went a searching. The site that greeted me showed me that indeed some individuals walk with angels for the car wreck seemed like something out of a Fast and Furious crash.

After seeing the car, I was sure that it had left Prezzo injured. And it was with anxiety that I called him to find out what was happening. Well, I reached him and he denied being in an accident. What he told me went something like, “I have no idea where that story came from. That (Saturday) night I had a house party. I didn’t go anywhere afterwards.”

Cool story bro, but the msema kweli here would be if the plates from the photoshoot he did with ‘Pulse’ matched the ones we have here. Unfortunately, Pulse had blurred out their photos, and understandably weren’t willing to give us their originals, but we confirmed with them verbally that the plates matched. When I spoke to the mechanics working on restoring the car, they told me that it was a miracle no one was injured! Check out the remains of the car below:

Then again, as they say, money ain’t a thing! So you can trust that Prezzo will have this ride back on the streets in no time.

 

 

On Christmas of 2012, Topa de Top deejay, Mo, gifted himself with a new ride after years of FOOTsubishi, javing and cabbing. At the time, the car was just too plain and the award winning DJ had to spruce it up to match his swag.

And now, after a very successful 2014, the System Unit deejay has decided to fill the space at his garage. Recently, DJ Mo acquired a white Nissan Caravan to assist in his ministry. The van has already been branded ‘System Unit’ in a glossy luminous green on the windshield and custom painted black and white.

Meanwhile the company has also set up a DJ academy at Anniversary Towers (Basement 2, Door 2). DJ Mo says this year System Unit is shining for Jesus.

They say that there are two sides to every story and we had to get the other side of the Blaqy Story. Blaqy is an upcoming artiste who accused the bigwigs in the music industry such as Mzazi Tuva of Mambo Mseto,Homeboyz’s G-Money,Dj Kalonje,DJ Wesley and Dj Pinye of  not supporting local content

Mzai was accused of treating his music unfavorably and favoring artistes such as Jaguar, Chameleon and Diamond and grandpa records artist. He also accused him of involving money and sex to get your music played in the case of women.

 

In response to Blaqy, Mzazi said playing Blaqy’s Show me would be highly inappropriate as it is not only demeaning to women but it’s out of place in a family show. One cannot subject children to the ass shaking and inappropriate dressing in the videos. In addition, he was not the one in charge of selecting the playlist, there were people designated to that area who ‘sieve’ the songs to ensure that they were not too explicit for TV As for the high rotation of Jaguar, Chameleon and Diamond songs, he said that people want to hear those songs and request for them frequently. He added that Blaqy had actually come to him for advice before shooting the video and Mzazi advised him to make a TV appropriate video but Blaqy brushed him off and said that he wanted his song to be a hit on you tube and not TV. On the demanding sexual favors and money for a song to get played accusations, Mzazi said those allegations were not only untrue but defamatory and he was shocked that someone whom he considers a friend would accuse him of such things

 

Dj Kalonje said that Blaqy just handed him a sample of his music at a club and did not bother following upon the issue.   And just like Mzai,Dj Kalonje said there is a lot of logistics involved before a song gets airplay. It has to be reviewed by the head of music, head of programming among others in fact he has little say in what gets airplay. He then added that he in fact supports local artiste among them Chess and Critical who are currently doing well in the music scene

 

Wesley on the other hand says that he does not favor artistes he plays good music. “If your music is good I will play it. Tell Blaqy to contact me as soon as he had a good song, I guarantee that I will play it .” he says

Gmoney’s only response was LOL which was followed by this “Further on the subject of explicit “dancehall” I googled this guy … Blaqy watched his video,watch it too.. I rest my case.”

Dj Pinye could not respond as he is currently out of the country.
