Lupita Puts an End to the Mini-Feud Between Kenya & Mexico. She Declares Where She Belongs

According to Wikipedia, Lupita Amondi Nyong’o is “an Academy Award-winning actress and music video director of dual Kenyan and Mexican citizenship. She identifies as Mexican-Kenyan.”

Lupita was born in Mexico City, Mexico,to Dorothy and Peter Anyang’ Nyong’o, a politician in Kenya. It is a Luo tradition to name a child after the events of the day, so her parents named her Lupita (a diminutive of “Guadalupe” Our Lady of Guadalupe). She is of completely Luo descent on both sides of her family, and is the second of six children.  At the time of Lupita’s birth, he was a visiting lecturer in political science at El Colegio de Mexico in Mexico City, and her family had been living in Mexico for three years.

Lupita moved back to Kenya with her parents when she was less than one year old, when her father was appointed a professor at the University of Nairobi. She grew up primarily in Kenya, and describes her upbringing as “middle class, suburban”. At age 16, her parents sent her back to Mexico for seven months to learn Spanish. During those seven months, Nyong’o lived in Taxco, Mexico, and took classes at Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico’s Learning Center for Foreigners.

Lupita with her parents at the 86th Academy Awards

Let’s pause at that because the last part is what has been the main bone of contention for months now.

Thing is, since Lupita started becoming a huge deal in Hollywood, entertainment reporters as well as the online community in Kenya and Mexico have feuded over which country gets to “claim” her. This is partly because no Kenyan or Mexican has won the prestigious award before hence the great need to feel the sense of belong.

However, Lupita came out last Sunday to settle this matter once and for all according to El Mañana.

Lupita_wins.jpg

“I’m Mexican and Kenyan at the same time,” she said adding, “I’ve seen the quarrels over my nationality, but I’m Kenyan and Mexican at the same time. So again, I am Mexican-Kenyan and I am fascinated by carne asada tacos.”

El Mañana further alleges that Lupita also declared that the award is hers and neither Kenya’s nor Mexico’s;

“This award belongs to me”

Churchill Show Comedian Takes Shots at Kenyan Socialites – Vera, Huddah & Pendo

In the most recent past, the Kenyan showbiz has seen an influx of a new crop of party-goers (and twerkers) better known as ‘socialites’. They don’t have a problem with sharing their nudes with you (unfortunately you can’t find any more on Ghafla!) and will show up at any event in town as soon as they get wind of it.

Despite their rising popularity, socialites have been facing a backlash from KOT (read haters at least according to socialites). The latest to take a swipe at socialites is Churchill Show comedian Butita.

Eddie_Butita.jpg

He writes;

Dear Vera Sidika, Huddah Monroe, pendo and other socialites

For a long time I din’t know who a socialite is, I thought a socialite is someone who posts nude pictures on the internet (Huddah), a person who has big “Vera Sidika”, a person who has unconfirmed or maybe confirmed s*x scandals (Pendo). Thats what I thought a socialite is. Kumbe hapana

Pendo1.jpg

Wikipedia tells me, a socialite is someone who participates in social activities and spends a significant amount of time entertaining and being entertained at fashionable events attended by others of similar standing.
NOW do Kenyan socialites participate in social activities and spends a significant amount of time entertaining and being entertained at fashionable events. NO they don’t participate they ATTEND.

vee.jpg

The lines between being a socialite and celebrity have since become blurred due to the influence of both popular culture and the media.

The fact that Kenyans know you for negative reasons does not make you a socialite you are just popular/famous/ a celebrity.

You can’t explain to an under 18, who Huddah, Vera or Pendo is, it will end up being an adult talk. No one would be happy to hear her daughter saying she wants to be a socialite because you guys have made it look that explicit.

Huddah_nu.jpg

Show us the other side of you and I will call you socialites for now I will maybe call you famous . or Upcoming Models maybe. “Lakini socialites ziii nyinyi si masocialites”

I just spoke my mind no beef. ama nimedanganya?

However, these socialites all seem to be reading from the script. When their comments were sought regarding this matter they all seemed to sing the same song;

“I am not a socialite!”

End of story…

Attention HipHop Heads: Kenyan HipHop About To Get A Facelift (VIDEO)

For a while now, Kenyan hiphop has been all about machismo and bravado but finally, a group of lads has realized they can merge hiphop with a bit of class and still be underground and authentic. Personally, this has always been what I have had in mind when I think about cyphers; crisp, clean quality with all the raw talent still involved.

And I have an example of exactly what I have in mind: a cypher done by Kenyan lads that is is well done and still features Kenyan artists who are underground -who said the underground has to constantly be grimy and at that, who said grimy has to be low quality?

The cypher is called Kenyan Hype Cypher and is the first volume of what I am told will be a compilation of 10 volumes. Talk about ambition! I just hope the lads working on this do not burn out. thew entire idea behind the cypher however is for it to cross the bridge behind the underground and mainstream.

Check it out below and let me know what you think of it:

Finally Nairobi Artist Advices Kenyan Men on How to Deal with Hard-to-Get Chics & Drama Queens

Basically, all the world’s a dating game and all women merely players. Women who are usually on the receiving end of the “pickup,” are conditioned to be a challenge, like a porcupine whose quills stand up on end when on the defensive. And truth be told most women are like acclimatized like this.

So now, singer and rapper, Parroty has decided to address this in his latest track, Teke Teke.

Produced by Big Soul, the song is all about why a man shouldn’t not be stressed because of a demanding a relationship and how to deal with drama queens. And he tells off gold diggers whose pockets grow deeper as you entertain them without realizing.

He reckons that many guys sacrifice a lot all in the name of love in the very definition of what it means to truly love another person, but it reaches a point where a guy can’t take it no more.

“This is what men go through, madem wako too demanding that’s why I am telling guys si lazima they go through mastress za madem instead tunawakick teketeke”

‘Leo ni leo ukitaka choma picha, lakini nikijam utapita na dirisha’ he raps.

Parroty then takes shots at chics, “Take for example, any random chic would want to have pizza instead of healthy food kama malenge, halafu shida inaanza akiwa na potty ama tyres.”

Check Out the Cute Birthday Present Lupita Got for Her Birthday (PHOTOS)

iPods, glamorous pair of Jimmy Choo and shopping vouchers on your birthday wish list? Not for Lupita! Her birthday was low key probably a sign of the looming big things.

However, when the Oscar winner turned 31 on Saturday March 1, just hours before scooping the coveted fimls award, the milestone didn’t go unnoticed. Her ‘Oscars Team’ organized and presented to her a surprise birthday cake. Take a look;

That, though, was nothing compared to the gift stand-up comedian, television host, and actress Ellen Lee DeGeneres (simply known as Ellen) got for Lupita. Just hours after the Kenyan star won the Oscar for her role in 12 Years A Slave, Ellen (who hosted the 86th Academy Awards) was the first one to have her on her show.

Elle who loved Lupita’s headband at the Oscars (she found it “really cool”) fished out a headgear she thought would flatter her as her birthday gift;

These Were The Most Important Moments Lupita Had At The Oscar -Check Out The GIFS That Capture Her dancing And Realizing She Won The Oscar

I managed to get my mitts on GIF that show Lupita at her best during the recently held Oscar Award ceremony where she won the award for best supporting actress. When I wrote up the piece about how unlikely it was for her to win the statue, fools went rabid claiming I was nay-saying and yet the facts stood behind me one hundred percent -but it would seem miracles do happen.

But enough has been said about that. And indeed it was well documented with everyone weighing forgetting that:

And now, for the GIFs:

Ever Wondered Which Kenyan Artiste President Uhuru Loves his Music Most? The Secret is Finally Out!

Heads of States too enjoy music from local artists in their respective countries. In 2011/12 President Obama revealed that Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter and “Words” hit-maker, Anthony David, is his favourite artist.

Obama would later run a radio station host through his musical tastes, an eclectic and all-encompassing list of artists and tracks in what was referred to as the ‘presidential iPod’.

Well, today we got the rare chance to delve into President Uhuru’s playlist. Apparently the commander-in-chief is a huge fan of Kenyan music. And not just any Kenyan music but has a special liking for Rufftone’s music!

Rufftone.jpg

Photo| Glorious Photography

This was revealed earlier today by the Secretary of Communications and Presidential Spokesperson, Manoah Esipisu on Easy FM. Asked the type of music the President listens to responded;

The President loves Kenyan music, Roughtone is one of his favorites. #AskStateHouse”

Could this be why the Comander-in-Chief gave Rufftone the go-ahead to practice with the army ahead of the Kenya@50 celebrations?

Anyway, these are rare brownie points from the highest seat in the land and I guess earns the ‘Mungu Baba’ hit-maker bragging rights until the Uhuru speaks about this subject again 🙂

Big up Rufftone!

#TwendeKazi Has Finally Left Kenya

For those of you not in the know, Tusker launched a show last week on Sunday. Twende Kazi is the name of the show which is a relay that features 50 players in 25 teams. Their job is to get the Tusker to humphrey Kayange who is currently in London. The plot? They can get to London however they can, boat rides, beg and plead. The catch? They can’t use a plane and they have no money.

For those without an idea as to how hard that is, try to get a free ride in a matatu to work tomorrow and back to your house. Aye, it’s unbelievably hard.
But not when you’re determined. I will admit that once, I had my wallet stolen and I still managed to get home. And that is the spirit behind the show. Showing the world that East Africans and indeed Kenyans can make anything happen. We can achieve because we just are!

Now, the teams thus far have been successful on their runs but they have been in Kenya. Now, the Tusker is out of the country and if my sources are correct, they are in Tanzania. And that was thanks to the team below:

Now, the game is getting real! Now it’s about more than just determination, it’s about wit and resourcefulness. If you haven’t been watching the show? I suggest you begin now because I guarantee that things are about to get alot more serious!

And Team are having a go!

Photo: Good morning!
Team 8 are here and will now make their way from Pangani to Bagamoyo.

They need your help! Can you help them travel to Bagamoyo?
#TwendeKazi

Team 8 are here and will now make their way from Pangani to Bagamoyo. And what’s more, they need your help. They need the help of every Tanzanian, nay, East African within the greater Bagamoyo area.

Can you help them travel to Bagamoyo?

Octopizzo Celebrates His Daughter’s Birthday By Cooking For Her (PHOTOS)

Octopizzo is a caring father. Something we should all be lucky to experience. The man who was a father by default after his baby mama dumped the child at his doorstep. But unlike most men, Octopizzo didn’t shirk from responsibility, he rose to the occasion and I am impressed that he took such a mature and bold step.

And since then, he has never turned back. And over the weekend, he was celebrating his decision to be her father in spectacular fashion, he actually took to the kitchen because she said she wanted to taste his cooking. Check them out below:

Ogopa Now Agrees to Release Tracks for Avril, Mustapha & Kenzo Weeks after Rudely Terminating their Contracts. But…

The management at the country’s leading production power house and record label, Ogopa Deejays, seems to have had a change of heart. This comes a month after the record label dismissed some of the top singers who have been with the label for years.

Earlier today, a communiqué from Ogopa indicated that the management has decided to release some of the half-finished or completely finished projects from ONLY 3 of the artists who were shown the door without prior warning.

However, the communication from Ogopa points out that the artists have not been reinstated to the South B based production house with a rich continental recognition. In part, the dispatch read;

“…After pressure from colleagues following the release of the Viola Karuri and the need to eliminate the bad blood, Kenzo’s, Avril’s and Mustafa’s works will be released…”

ogopa_djz.png

But what do the artistes have to say about this?

Well, according to Kenzo, he was called up by Lucas (CEO & Creative Directive, Ogopa) and told that his projects will be released but he didn’t mention a thing about the contract. Asked how many of his tracks will be released, Kenzo says;

“Nilirecord a lot of songs which were ready for release however Ogopa will only release one song and then I’ll release the rest at my own pleasure after they are handed to me.”

Kenzo_nu.jpg

We however sought to find out only three artistes were recalled to have their projects released. Kenzo is quick to point out that he wouldn’t know why the rest were called back but the explanation he got is that;

“They felt like I am hardworking and my potential hasn’t been fully exploited that’s why niliitwa.”

Mustapha whose projects were also ready for release a month ago, has also commented about Ogopa’s latest move. He reveals that he’s about to release a track with his new found love, Huddah. He however totally refused to reveal more detail about the song.

According to Mustapha, Ogopa have been compelled to release his track following the demand from the public.

“Ngoma imeitishwa sana na naona hio ndo imefanya Ogopa waamue kuirelease.”

 Mustapha Huddah

He adds that he’s scheduled to meet Lucas today to discuss on how the song will be released before he can talk to us about it.

For now, let’s wait and see if there will be more drama smoking out of the Ogopa chimneys.

ALL AFRICAN GIRLS SHOULD WATCH THIS: Watch As Lupita Nyong’o Talks About Feeling Insecure And Ugly (VIDEO)

A couple of years ago, I wrote a piece on Ghafla stating that I find Lupita to be 100% sexy. Let’s just say I have foresight. Anyway, I came across this speech by Lupita Nyong’o who had been given an award by Essence Magazine; she had won the Essence Magazine Black Women In Hollywood Breakthrough Performance Award and she opened up about her insecurities.

But what I heard left me gutted. Lupita spoke openly about the nonsense that is the entire Team Lightskin vs Team darkskin debate and she spoke with the passion of someone who has been victimized because of her complexion. And while speaking, she broke down crying when she read an email sent to her by an African girl who was contemplating bleaching her skin.

The thing about me however is that I have been told by alot of people that I lack empathy therefore I do not want to muddle in something I do not understand such as “emotions” so allow me to let Lupita Nyong’o to speak on her own behalf. Let her share her words herself and the emotions that will flow through. Check her out below:

Lupita Ushers in Reign of Beauty & Brains. No More Twerking & Ratchetness

After Lupita happened she might as well have locked the door of twerking and generally the ratchet culture. For a very long time we have had to contend with ‘socialites’ shoving into our faces videos and risqué photos of their derrieres twerking.

These ‘socialites’ have been twerking up storms with their clips some of which have propelled them to ‘eminence’ and made them who they are today. ‘Socialites’ have been widely criticized for their apparent obsession with so-called ratchet culture, which includes, but is certainly not limited to, the twerking lasses sporting some rather interesting wardrobe choices and booty popping on Twitter, Facebook, IG and YouTube to songs that are equally ratchet.

spiderman_twerking.gif

However, after early Monday, a new era was ushered in, thanks to Lupita Nyong’o. The 31 year old actress proved that you don’t have to twerk so hard sometimes bearing it all for viewers. Yes, dancing is good for the body and laughing is good for the soul but twerking is got to go!

So here are lessons Kenyan women should learn from Lupita;

Dressing:

Since her Toronto International Film Festival 2013 debut, Lupita has always kept entertainment reporters guessing about what to expect on the red carpet. 27 awards later, Lupita hasn’t disappointed not even once. The 12 Years A Slave star has become a fashion icon always slaying the red carpet with her eye-catching prints, bold colours and daring silhouettes.

The photo below summarizes her top-of-class fashion sense. Take notes;

Lupita_colours.jpg

Photo| MTV style

Hairdo:

Ladies you don’t have to rock that weave to look stunning and win an Oscar and am sure you just learnt that from Emmy Kosgei and now Lupita. The Kenyan Oscar winner has behaved with elegance and class throughout the entire awards season and there just something about her hair.

With her Teeny Weeny Afro (TWA), the silver screen queen didn’t hold her back from trying out different styles on the red carpet. She’s fashioned her natural hair into different styles. The major lesson Kenyan women should take from Lupita is to take chances and have fun with their (natural) hair.

 Lupita Nyong'o natural hair

Photo| Madam Noire

At some point she explained why she decided to appreciate her natural hair the way it is:

“When I was in my teens I dyed my hair all sorts of colors; blue and maroon. And then I realized that I was probably going to end up bald by the time I was 40. So I stopped doing all those things and finally decided to love it the way it is.”

Photo| ABC

Go ahead and keep it natural.

Attitude:

This is one thing we should all learn from Lupita. Thanks to her can-do attitude Lupita has been on a roll in Hollywood sweeping at least 60% of all the awards she had been nominated in. Thanks to her atitude, she became the woman of the moment in Hollywood and had all major TV hosts rushing to have a piece of her.

At no point did she ever feel that she was inferior because she knew what she wanted and nothing would stop her.

“I know I’m representing an underrepresented group of women. And being dark-skinned and having short, natural hair, I’m happy to be that for them.”

Lupita_Governors.jpg

She came in for the basics and ended up leaving with the most elaborates.

Most importantly don’t ever forget that;

“No matter where you are from, your dreams are valid!”Lupita Nyong’o

After Twerking For Ghafla, Risper Faith Is Now Rubbing Shoulders With The Powers That Be (PHOTO)

Risper Faith has been causing ripples with her bodacious behind, her powerful, potent posterior which has had us fixated on her twerk video and it went viral. And with good reason, the lass was twerking really well. None of those half hearted twerk videos I have become accustomed to.

And that shaking of her not-so-dainty derriere has seemed to opened up some windows for her. She was recently hob-knobbing with the high and mighty at an event. And We managed to get a picture of the pair. Check out Eugene Wamalwa and Risper Faith. And looky here, she has on a rather nice ensemble:

HipHop Legend And Enterprenuer Russell Simmons Hints At Lupita Nyongo’s Love Life And A Possible Marriage

Lupita Nyong’o is the queen of many a heart and with good reason. her story resonates to every corner of the world and inspires so many. Whoever knew that a black African girl would conquer tinsel town and the world of acting? Brilliant! And now from what Chege Miati, Lupita’s parents have hiked up the dowry to be paid for her.

And away from the humour, I found it curious when I saw that Russel Simmons was talking about Lupita given his track record with skirt chasing but I saw the message and was even more intrigued:

Meet Machachari’s Baha’s Older Brother Who Incredibly Looks Like Him. You Might Think They are Twins

We all know about celebrity brothers and sisters who are spitting images of each other. Siblings aren’t exactly known for sharing, but for Baha of ‘Machachari’ and his older brother split one thing: their matching looks!

In fact, Baha and Mungai Mbaya may make you see double. However, not many guys are familiar with Robert as they are with Baha. Apart from the striking similarity in looks, both brothers are TV icons. Mungai has starred in hilarious comedy, ‘Toto’, young boy lost in Nairobi City as he tries to take his Sick mom to Hospital. He stumbles on a bottle top that is to win him 3 Million shillings in a lottery; and into dramatic chases as he has to outwit the biggest conmen in Nairobi City.

Apart from that he’s also featured in Citizen TV’s ‘Know Zone’ and ‘Makutano Junction’.

Time to meet him;

Hilarious! Shaffie Weru Takes Shots At Arsenal. I Pity Arsenal Fans

Shaffie Weru is one funny man. The Shafstar is also an avowed Chelsea supporter. So it comes as no surprise that the lad will be happy to take shots at Arsenal after the club dropped points in the English Premier League this weekend which saw the the Blues get a strong foothold on the top spot.

And also, rather interestingly enough, Lupita won an Oscar to my bewilderment but to my pure joy. And Shaffie is seeing things from a hilarious and unique point of view, check it out below:

A while back, Talia Oyando was one of the queens of showbiz but three years ago the queen handed over the crown and settled for life in the quite lane.

Speaking to Eve Woman the singer and presenter revealed how motherhood had changed her

“I worry about my son constantly when I am not around him. I do not go out as much; in fact, I have not been to a club since I got pregnant. So many things changed for me. I have priorities now — I am no longer that YOLO (You Only Live Once) young girl everybody knew back then: I am all about family now.”

Is Gay(ism) Slowly but Surely Taking Over? Is it the New Black in Entertainment?

One of the most volatile and important issues facing the society today is the question of homosexuality as an alternative lifestyle. We cannot (however much we want to) duck this question. Most recent events serve to thrust this question to the front and center of showbiz.

And now that the awards season reached its culmination earlier today with the celebration of the 86th Academy Awards, it’s time to zero in on the homosexuality issue as far as the showbiz scene is concerned.

Well, after the climax of Oscar night I can only conclude that gay is the new black.

This award season can be best summarized as season for “gay for pay” actors/ artists. Notably, it all started with the announcement of the Oscar nominations where a nomination went to “Dallas Buyers Club” something that gave entertainment reporters something to write about especially the Huffington Post that urged the Academy not to award the movie nominated in Best Writing category.

This is a film in which the hero of the AIDS movement is a straight bigot who helps educate all of the people he once despised about how to treat themselves and fight the system. In its haste it almost entirely erases the real saints of that fight: the men and women of the LGBT community who saved their own lives.

In accord that the movie is not from “our time”, it is in my strong belief the storyline denied this movie an academy award.

It had already been prejudiced as “a movie from another time, one that tiptoed around that story with anxiety hence why the Oscars didn’t make the mistake of treating it like a movie that’s right for the time we live in now.

In contrast however, Matthew McConaughey won the Oscar for Best Actor for his role in “Dallas Buyers Club” as a homophobic, rodeo-loving Texan who contracts AIDS and becomes an unlikely savior for gay patients and drug addicts desperate for treatment.

Before the Oscars, James Franco, Cate Blanchett and Matthew McConaughey were singled out for their ‘gay’ performances among others in January, by the Gay and Lesbian Entertainment Critics Association (GALECA) for being LGBT-Centric. Meanwhile, “12 Years a Slave” garnered ‘Best Film of the Year’.

Meanwhile, Jared Leto was awarded the Los Angeles Film Critics Association’s Best Supporting Actor award. Leto, who plays a transgender woman afflicted by AIDS in “Dallas Buyers Club”, already won a Golden Globe for his performance. And earlier this morning he won an Oscar as the Best Supporting Actor.

To further demonstrate how gay is the new black, the 2014 Grammys put the icing on the cake.

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis took home the Grammy for Best New Artist but their biggest moment may have been bringing dozens of gay, straight and multiracial couples together to get married live during the 56th Grammy Awards. During the duo’s song “Same Love,” which addresses the fight for same sex marriage, Queen Latifah officiated.

Opinion formers argued that had ‘Same Love’ won ‘Song of the Year,’ the night could have caught the zeitgeist, and achieved a coherence, that would have been stirring.

Macklemore however has in the past denied that he’s gay but he has two gay uncles and grew up around committed gay relationships that could not be legalized (as he does in ‘Same Love’).

Well, 2014 will be remembered as the year the Grammys went gay…sort of.

Lupita Is Not The Only Kenyan Making Huge Waves In Hollywood! Meet the Other Kenyan Who Has Jay Z And Beyonce Going Gaga Over Her Work

Wangeci Mutu is her name and art is her game. The lass was featured in “Picasso Baby” by Jay Z as his muse and that isn’t the only step she has taken into gaining recognition from Tinsel Town. And she doesn’t seem to be stopping there. Gaining momentum off of the fact that the video hit a mere 4 million hits, she seems to be ready for the snow ball effect.

Recently, she got the nod of approval from none other than the queen of pop, Beyonce who endorsed her work and acknowledged that she is not only talented but immensely influential, a luminary infact.

This is what Beyonce had to say:

For those whose phone cannot render the picture, let me transcribe it for you:

#28DaysBlackHistory

A Kenyan artist living in Brooklyn New York, Wangechi Mutu is considered one of the most foremost contemporary African artists of recent years and her work has achieved much global acclaim. A modern day feminist, Wangechi uses gender inequality, racism, over-consumption, environmental issues as subject matter in her art. She currently has an exhibit, Wangechi Mutu: A Fantastic Journey through March 9 2014.”

Such Is Life: Popular Singer Elopes With His Lady Love Even After Dowry Is Paid By Her Fiance (VIDEO)

Bryan Chweya is his name and Elani is his band. The lad is quite the looker or so I am told by the ladies at Ghafla and today, we look into his eloping with another man’s wife. The lad who sings Alto -I think he sounds like an alto whenever he sings with his group Elani decided he had had enough uncertainty and decided to elope with his lady love.

The pair had been experiencing some interference in his love life after his would-be father-in law decided to get involved in his daughter’s love life and betrothed her to a doctor instead of Bryan whom he thinks is broke. And I have top empathize with said father because even I wouldn’t want my daughter marrying into trouble and financial uncertainty and potential ruin.

He turned to Enos Olik to tell the tale to our entertainment. And Enos did a stellar job of weaving the tale and telling it with the crisp, clean quality of each shot and the seamless transitions and be amazed. And the lad turned to his bandmates for support in telling his story and they came through. Watch the video of that below:

Fuata Sheria By Juliani And Sarabi Band Nominated For A Prestigious Award

They say it take two to tango and it’s clear as day that the horrible state of Kenya’s politics is not only due to the politicians and people in points of authority but also due to the failure of Kenya’s citizens to accept blame for their role in the corrupt status quo.

This state of affairs is captured beautifully in Fuata Sheria a song by Juliani and Sarabi Band. The song came into being after retired activist Boniface Mwangi shared a list of scandals in the Kenyan political arena with Sarabi’s band Manager.

{youtube}8QGx_6lMjGI{/youtube}

Needless to say the song was a certified hit and has been nominated for Best Activism Anthem in the world.
