Newspaper reporters have the responsibility of writing information about newsmaker s but once in a while they make the news.
Nation Media Journalists headed to Meru County for function organised Governor Peter Munya made the news when they were involved in a road accident.
This happened after their driver lost control of their car, flipped in the air severally and landed on a mound of soil that had been dug out to create a road drainage system for the road which was under construction. This was according to Phoebe Okall.

The accidents involve 6 journalists one of whom was 5 months pregnant. They were however lucky to escape with their lives and were rushed to Meru Level Five Hospital.
One of the casualties, Kennedy Kimanthi who was among those badly injured is doing better but has a mild fracture on his left hand and injured ribs. He says he survived by the Grace Of God.

Majority of people believe in God/Allah or just in the existence of a super natural being or entity; however one news anchor is an atheist.
It is weird in the Kenyan context not to believe in God and it is because of this reason that many people will definitely get surprised to hear that CCTV’s Ramah Nyang is a doubting Thomas when it come to matters concerning religion. Yes, that is the truth straight from the horse’s mouth.
In an interview with Standard digital writer- Peter Oduor, Ramah revealed that there was a lot of cherry-picking in religion; he highlighted the existence of many inconsistencies on values and applications of the faith. One peculiar comparison that Ramah made left my mouth agape and wondering if it is the underlining reason for the news anchor to be an atheist. “Lots of pretence and double standards – saying love your neighbour as you love yourself but when the neighbour turns out to be gay then there is trouble” said Ramah when explaining why religion does not appeal to him.

Last Monday night, Citizen TV’s Janet Mbugua hosted two ladies who were married to the same man on her show Monday special interview; the discussion elicited rather interesting comments from Kenyans.
The focus was on modern polygamy and conflicts in marriage and from just by analyzing the comments on twitter, most ladies are completely terrified by the idea of polygamy while men on the other side seemed to be excited by the idea. Polygamy is still a debatable agenda and depending on how one perceive it; it may be a right or wrong thing to do.
The two ladies who were married to the same man seem to still have tension between them even if they claimed to be fine by being married to the same man. The first wife appeared to be at a breaking point while the second lady was always trying to justify why she got married to someone’s husband. Polygamy in the country got a boost after our legislators endorsed the bill propagating the idea for men to marry more than one wife without the consent of the first wife.
The reactions from Kenyans seem to vary according to one’s gender, ladies expressing shock when it come to polygamy while men showing element of embarrassing it. The sociologist on the show said that African men are polygamist by nature and restricting men to a single wife was only catapulting clandestine affairs. Runtown (Agu Douglas Jack) is a Nigerian singer/songwriter/producer with a diverse music style mix of hiphop, Rnb and rap.

It is a phrase used often indicate how far one has come in life. Many of us use it haphazardly, but when it comes to Guardian Angel, this phrase rings 100% true. This is because the gospel artiste started from rock bottom and spent a large part of his life at Jevanjee Gardens .This was after his father rejected him even before he was born.

Last Friday saw Willy Paul get his behind handed to him by Adelle Onyango for allegedly calling her a Lesbian.
It is said that this supposed ‘insult’ was hurled at Adelle after she declared that she had no interest in dating the ‘Sitolia’ youngster.
We were then all treated to drama on Twitter after Adelle lashed out at Willy Paul for the supposed insult. Willy Paul has finally spoken up and issued some sort of apology, dismissing the name calling as a joke.

Kenyan crowds especially drunk Kenyan crowds can be the toughest to impress.
They are the kind of crowd that will not laugh at your lame jokes, or put up with a bad performance. In fact you are better off paying your friends to take front row seats to cheer you just in case your joke fails or your song doesn’t electrify the crowd.
Alaine’s concert on Saturday Cabanas saw a myriad of incidents taking place, first we saw Ngina Kenyatta attend the event to much gawking , we saw Vivian and DNA rock the crowd AND Jua Cali stole the show. While Maida was booed of the stage, other people however managed to hype up the crowd were Shix Kapyenga and Rapcha

As it turns out, Betty Kyalo is not the only member of her family making it big in this competitive Industry.
