Eric Omondi Finally opens up about His Alleged Relationship with Standard Media’s Silvia Njoki

Eric Omondi’s alleged liaison with the beautiful Silvia Njoki started off as a rumor that grew a life of its own.

And Eric Omondi posting a telltale photo of him clasping the belly of a heavily pregnant Sylvia Njoki and captioning it ‘It’s a girl’ , did not shut down the rumor, it only fueled the fire. It’s been 3years and the fire is yet to die down.

During an interview, we decided to finally put this rumor to bed and find out what kind of relationship  Eric Omondi and Silvia had. And boys and girls, it’s not what you think. Their relationship is purely professional and platonic.Eric Omondi says this about Silvia”She is has been my stylist all through from Churchill Live season 2.She gave me my look. She is a very close friend. The end result is that people will say we are dating. But I expected it.”

Eric Omondi then went ahead and showered Silvia with praises, and it was clear that she was someone he respected very highly. “She is a very powerful woman, I wish I was even dating her .She is very focused and very smart” he said.

So there you have it, the two are not dating they are just friends. Something which matches up with what Silvia had told us earlier in an interview.

CABU GAH DIARIES: Here Is Shocking Proof Why I Want The Government To Give My Teenage Daughter Condoms! Not Laptops. (PHOTOS)

The Kenyan Government has already, very sensationally, launched a condoms program, instead of a laptops, for teenagers and lower school pre-teens. And social media has never been more discombobulated.

Scores took to social media,to,as usual, excoriate the Government and more so,the President for having the temerity to sanction a Condoms program for pre-teens and teens. Wondering who,in their right minds, would find it right to equip kids with sexual garments rather than educational materials.

Church buffs, too, poured their two-faced bewilderment and expressed their disgust at the prospect of arming little kids with these almost-taboo equipments. And their argument, as always, has not been more invalid. And out-of-order.

On social media, many lampooned the Government for, instead of providing the kids with the laptops they made such a huge hoopla about during the campaign period, the Government went ahead and not only reneged on that very monumental promise but also, out of the blue, deciding that condoms would be a much better substitute. Well,I agree with the Government.

Why? Because EVERYBODY reading this article right now,and I mean,EVERYBODY,survived school without a laptop. We all survived a laptop-free school system. And we turned out just fine …despite the fact that we lacked that very ‘important’ academic tool-laptop.

We all are now living our dreams, practicing the careers of our dreams, driving big cars and living in palatial apartments… Yet we never had laptops in our classes.

But NOT everyone reading this article right now SURVIVED sexually-related diseases…Not everyone reading this article right now is sexually clean. No.

Many reading this article right now, statistics will prove,do possess a form of a sexual disease. Either HIV/AIDS. Or those other ones.

That shows You that lack of laptops DOES NOT endanger the society. Lack of protection of from fatal sexually-transmitted diseases does.

No one will ever die for lack of a laptop in their classrooms. We all survived a laptop-free childhood. No reason why the current generation cannot either.

But truth is,teenagers are having sex from as early as 10. Or 9.

It’s actually gotten out of hand. Because, with the advent of the internet, our young ones have known more than we ever did at their age, seen more than we ever did, watched than we ever did and read more than we ever did at their age.

Because of Google, and Whatsapp, and Facebook and Instagram and they very-ready availability of affordable smart phones, our young ones are miles ahead… As far as sexual introduction is concerned.

And to PROVE TO YOU ALL why I think arming our teenagers and pre-teenagers with condoms is the smartest thing this Government had done yet, allow Me to tell You that, for the last 5 Years,I have been touring Kenyan High Schools under a campaign “JITAMBUE JITENGE” teaching them about the dangers of SAME-SEX RELATIONSHIPS in schools.

I’ve been to the whole of Central Kenya, whole of Eastern Kenya, parts of Rift Valley and even Nairobi. And I ain’t done yet.

And,in all my peregrinations,I encounter horrific stories I never thought existed, I am given shocking stories I never thought I would ever hear,I am told abysmal things I never thought happened and I am narrated to nauseating things I would never be prepared to hear.

And,after every session/lecture,I urge the very affected kids,if they wish to hide their identity,to write short notes to me detailing their deplorable sexual experiences, and promise I will know how to help…

I also ask them to,in case they’re afraid of asking questions in public or meeting me in public, include their phone numbers and I will know how they can be helped in conjunction with their Guidance and Counseling teachers.

And,here, ladies and gentlemen,is a sample of some of the hundreds of short notes high school kids, some of whom are as young as 13 have written to me. I have compiled ALL of these short confessions in two photo albums.

Here is a random sample. Read and learn.

These are shocking confessions of High school girls and boys….These are deep stories of just how young these kids were when they first had sex, these are unbelievable confessions of teenagers having lesbian sex with their own mothers, these are astonishing evidences of boys sleeping with fellow boys from as young as 12.

I had to attach these photos here. I just had to.

I have tried to blur the names of the victims. And blur their phone numbers, too.

You will be shocked. And I hope that, after this, the argument on whether our kids need condoms will END right here and now! IT MUST END!

Well,This is enough proof that We NEED CONDOMS IN OUR SCHOOLS. We need them NOW!!! Still don’t believe me?? Well, keep scrolling. Here are more exclusive confessions.

There is more….Please come with Me……

Sexual corruption is starting right in the family. Right from the parents. And siblings.

Dear Kenyan Government, arm MY daughter with condoms! Please. And spare her the worthless laptop nonsense!

I want a healthy daughter. And a living daughter. Not a convalescent geek with all the knowledge in the World and yet all the viruses in her body.

We must be SMART. Condom smart. Not Laptop smart.

Take it or leave it!

Amos and Josh made a name for themselves in Tusker Project Fame Season 6 when they ran all the way to the finals only to become first runners up.

This marked their turning point and since then, they have been on the rise in the music industry, releasing songs that incredibly enthrall.

On Valentines’ eve, Amos and Josh teamed up once again with Kristar to remix a few love songs, among them Sauti Sol’s Still The One, which, frankly, is one of the best remix of the song so far.

Why Kenyan Women Love Throwing Panties At Musicians On Stage

The issue of female fans tossing their undergarments onstage in appreciation of a performance.has been common ever since the emergence of mainstream music in Kenya. Last year i witnessed chics throwing smelly panties at Wizkid, 2 Chainz and Sauti Sol. Two weeks ago, i witnessed the same at a concert that wasn’t even that big. Goddamn.

But why do they do this one might ask? Well, to understand why Kenyan women love throwing panties at artistes, we must first understand why women love musicians. We must understand why even the artiste that looks like Mugabe will still get laid.

Since the creation of planet earth, men have been divided into two groups—the musicians who get all of the chics, and the rest of us. Let’s be real for a moment. It’s no secret that musicians, even low rent ones who still “crash” in their parent’s mansions and demand ‘kuongezwa food‘ by their mamas, fair significantly better than the rest of us non-musical mortals in pulling chics. Of course a writer like me will get random women from time to time but the frequency can’t be compared to that of an artiste

So why do ladies give musical geniuses much more validation than all other forms of artistes such as painters, writers and photographers? Well, it’s simple. Musicians have a greater reach than the rest of us. You probably won’t find a woman that doesn’t like music but you’ll find of women who don’t like reading articles or marveling at paintings.

Women will chase the musician-type for all of her youthful years even though such a guy will never be her boyfriend. The smitten Muthonis and Ayangos  swoon at concerts, throw panties and imagine themselves in bed with the hit makers. Oh dear.

Musicians also carry with them their bad-boy, flaky and unsettled aura that makes them more desirable.

So yes, women love musicians but the Kenyan female fans are on the obsession level. To the big question again. Why do they throw panties then? Here are logical reasons for that

They buy the panties at Gikomba

Yes, the panties are probably cheap I am pretty sure that a Nairobi chic wouldn’t throw an expensive panty at even Drake. The only reason she aims it towards the face of the artiste is because she bought it at Gikomba or Muthurwa for 50 bob. Note that she possibly bargained since the price might have originally been around 100 bob.

diaaaaaaaa

It’s their way of discarding old and worn out panties

Maybe they see the stage as the most convenient dustbin. Just throw it there and whoever is responsible for cleaning will pick it up later

Maybe it’s the pombe

Blame it on those chics who get drunk after two shots. Or the chics who mix sheesha, Smirnoff Black Ice and weed at the same time. May all of you be forgiven.

They are emotional

Kenyan women are as emotional about music as they are about everything else. You have to have some sort of soul to write music, or at least to perform. It’s assumed by women that most men who play music are in-touch with not just their feelings, but their innermost desires and passions.

The idea that the man at the stage sat down to write soulful and profound lyrics is more than enough reason to get a woman to aim her panties at the performer without even thinking twice.

Musicians are Royalty

We don’t have kings and queens, we have musical gods. Respect and authority is placed on men who can sing ’chini kwa chini’ than men with good lineage. Musicians are worshipped because of the fame and money. So throwing panties is just a form of worship.

Machakos ‘First Lady’ Proves That She Is More Than a ‘Trophy Wife’ (Photos)

For a long time, Machakos Governor Dr Alfred Mutua was married to his now estranged wife Josephine Maundu. After the split that allegedly included a bitter brawl over children and wealth, he showed up with some eye-candy Lillian Ng’ang’a who many have referred to as the trophy wife.

But Lillian is not one to fit into stereotypes; she is out to show us that she can hold her own at Machakos county.

After being involved in various projects in the county, the regal first lady took her Cancer Awareness Campaign to Masinga Model Health Centre in Masinga Sub-County.

In Kenya, Cancer is ranked as the third killer disease after infectious and cardiovascular diseases and Lillian has been at the forefront in the fight against it. Her campaign seeks to create awareness, screen for the disease, build capacity for health workers to deal with it and also help patients get proper referrals.

Since the start of the campaign, thousands of people especially women have been screened with 16 suspected cases reported in Matuu and another 3 in Kathiani.

She encourages people to practice healthy lifestyles, exercise a lot and have regular checks in hospitals as cancer is curable when detected early.

Lillian was accompanied by Ministers Naomi Mutie (Health and Emergency Services) and Ruth Mutua (Education, Youth and Social Welfare) as well as Collins Sila (Chief Officer Health), MCAs led by area MCA and Leader of the Majority in the Machakos County Assembly  Hon. Joshua Mwonga (Masinga Central) and Machakos Maendeleo ya Wanawake Chairlady Franciscah Mutinda.

Here are some photos from the event:

Comedians Chipukeezy And YY Come Up With Hilarious Song On TV Shutdown

The TV shutdown saga has been the talk in town since last weekend when three media houses shut down major TV stations in protest of analogue switch off by the government.

The debate about the same has been in the air for days, with mixed reactions tickling in from all corners of the republic.

There are those who feel that it is time to migrate to the digital world while others think we are too far from embracing digital broadcasting.

As the debate rages on, comedians Chipukeezy, who also works for Kiss 100, and his counterpart YY are rehearsing for a new song on TV shut down.

The song is called Vile Walizima TV.

YY plays the piano as Chipukeezy puts in the lyrics.

It is however, not clear whether this is part of their comedy or it is indeed a song they want to do.

This is what YY posted on his instagram account:

Nameless Annoys Me Quite Often, Wahu Confesses

Wahu Kagwi and David Mathenge aka Nameless are one of the most celebrated celebrity couples in Kenya today, thanks to the manner in which they have managed to keep their decade long relationship intact and still going.

Both are musicians who have managed effectively to juggle between their sweet family matters and music, something that even celebrated global celebrities have failed to do.

However, this doesn’t mean that everything is always smooth as we see it in public. Family has issues and so is Wahu’s with Nameless.

In an interview with Pulse, Wahu has revealed that Nameless annoys her quite often with small details though and which she has learnt to live by.

Some of them include not switching off lights downstairs, leaving shoes downstairs and leaving knives in Blueband containers.

P: When was the last time he annoyed you?

Wahu: It happens quite often but it’s small irritating stuff like not switching off the lights downstairs when we go to sleep, leaving shoes downstairs, leaving the knife inside the Blueband and such, but I’ve learnt to choose my battles. But it’s never that serious.

Wahu has also revealed that men hit on her always, promising her good things despite the fact that she is married to Nameless. She says:

P: Do you ever get tempted?

Wahu: No, I don’t. Of course I get hit on by men who tell me what they can do for me and sometimes you find yourself comparing asking when was the last time he said this to me. But my mind is set on my man, period!

Larry Madowo Gets Ridiculed After Trying To Remind His Viewers That It Is Friday And…The Trend

It is Friday, the day that many wind up the week’s hustles to yolo and welcome the weekend. For ardent TV viewers, and especially NTV, this is the day they catch up with Larry Madowo on his famous show, the Trend.

But we all know what is happening with our favourite TV stations and our favourite programmes on the four TV stations that shut down last weekend.

The Trend will be greatly missed as NTV is yet to go on air. Larry Madowo knows this too well but he awkwardly went ahead to remind his viewers with his usual line, If it is Friday, you know it is….

This wasn’t received well by some fans who are still raging that NTV, KTN, Citizen TV and QTV have refused to switch to digital broadcasting.

Larry himself knew it is awkward and he was probably making a joke out of it but some people still couldnt see it and went ahead to remind him that they no longer NTV.

Here are some reactions after Larry’s post:

Biwott Dennis: Larry guess what Nairobi aviation are saying?”whose laughing now haahaahaaa…

Otieno Tsoy Jeremy: Stupid!! Migrate to digital first, then we’ll be able to talk to each other. nkt!!

Ramirez Richard: just wondering will your digital set boxes contain the 4 channels only ?? lol coz that will awkward too

Simon Salome: advise your boss to tame their ego and switch on their channels on in the setboxes. hamuezi compete na ndovu kufanya nn. you are on your own

Isaac M Kimani: One fact, the four media stations are jealous of sharing their advertisement revenue to other TV stations …you have to accept changes

Silvia Ene Simon: Tutahata the Trend coz ya kwamilia analogue…Mtahama lini?

Well, that seems to have happened after his prayers were not only heard but also answered.

The singer is having a brand new lass on his side, with a nice looking young boy who makes the family complete and happy.

Huu Mwaka video is finally out. This is what I am talking about.

And it could turn out to be Jaguar’s best video to date. Here, it shows how Jaguar made a bold move to get out of the village, with the villagers’ blessings to travel to the city to look for new life.

Luckily, the singer seems to have been blessed enough to get one and that is how his life got a new turn.

It is one of those videos that not only captivate but also encourage and gives hope for the hopeless.

Here it is:

This Is Why Socialite Huddah Supports “Condoms For Kids!”

Huddah agrees with the latest Goverment initiative to provide condoms who want to have sex. The campaign that was launched on monday seeks to cut down the rate of HIV infection among the teenagers as the statistics have shown that teenagers are at a risk of contracting the virus from un-protected sex.

This is not the time to drag the issue of African morals into this this is not 1980, If you feel that kids shouldn’t be given condoms, maybe you should take us all back to 1903 (in your imaginary time-machine perhaps)

Kids are having sexas early as 13! They wont even hear that old women’s talk about abstinence, give them condoms, lots of them, sensitize them on how to use them, let them have sex till they have enough, later on they will realize that sex is overrated. But we shall have saved them from a looming catastrophe, the HIV and Aids pandemic. Don’t be vague, this is not about morals, this is about having a future, having a generation to keep our country alive.

Huddah supports this noble cause, she shared  on her Instagram:

Uhuru though emoji . You gotta wrap em ! I tell my likkle brothers “you can screw ,but weka condom mpangoni!” #HIVisREAL! REPEAT after me…… #CondomsInYourWallet #CondomsInYourHandbag #CondomsInYourCar #CondomsEverywhere #WeCanEradicateHIV! #HuddahCondoms emoji

Unlikely Beggars: Meet A Masters Degree Holder Indian And His Friend Who Live As Beggars In Ngara

Street beggars and urchins are normally and usually associated with African children and adults who in one way or the other have no option for life except to throng streets in urban centres to beg for food and other things.

It is so unlikely that someone from the Indian community could resort to begging because of the perception we have that Indians almost always live on the first lane of life.

When K24 went deep and uncovered the ordeal two Indian men are going through in Ngara, Nairobi, the viewers were taken aback, with the #unlikelybeggars hashtag trending for more than two ours.

beg1

K24’s Alphonce Oladipo went ahead to uncover two Indian men leaving in a bush in Ngara after falling from grace to grass, thanks to misfortunes that sometimes come with life.

One of the men is a masters degree holder from India where he studied IT and Software applications.

He says that he once lived a sweet live. His parents were teachers. He schooled at Jamuhuri High School before flying out to India for further studies.

His life, however, took a u-turn when his parents died. Their property was grabbed and the masters degree holder had no option but to resort to the streets.

His friend who has a black eye after being beaten by thugs says he was chased away from home for being a drunkard, his wife and brother-in-law flew back to India leaving him helpless in Nairobi. He resorted to street life which he has lived for three years now

BREAKING NEWS: Maisha Magic Shuts Down

Its been barely a year, but M-Net has decided to shut down one of their Maisha Magic channels in East Africa.

The organization regrets to inform DStv viewers that after much deliberation and an in-depth assessment of each of the channels viability was concluded, including a review of the rankings and popularity of the channels, a decision was made to to close Maisha Magic and refocus on the Maisha Magic Swahili channel.  Thus, the Maisha Magic channel will close at end of March 2015.

Swahili.jpg

“Unfortunately, Maisha Magic has not performed and grown as per our expectations. Overall, the channel was unable to achieve the ratings consistency we needed to sustain the business and support our continued investment,” said Patricia van Rooyen, CEO M-Net Sub-Saharan Africa.

“As a result, M-Net made the carefully considered but difficult decision to cease operations of the channel. We are grateful to the Maisha Magic team, which includes M-Net East Africa Regional Director Michael Ndetei and some of the most talented and creative people in the Kenyan media industry. M-Net will endeavor to make this closure as smooth a transition as possible for them.”

M-Net however emphasizes that they will remain firmly committed to the Kenyan market and will ensure that it continues to support film makers by showcasing their talent on other M-Net channels.  The film and television industry in Kenya will continue to be supported by M-Net’s investment in channels made in Africa for Africa, thus ensuring that they assist Kenya in playing a role in the growth and future of African television and film on the continent.

Taifa Leo Cartoonist Makes Fun Of TV Stations That Shut Down

Citizen TV, QTV, KTN and NTV have been missing on both analogue and digital platforms thanks to the row blewing up between the media houses and the government.

A lot as been said about the digital migration saga that has plunged Kenya into information blackout, leaving only K24, KBC and Kiss to inform.

Taifa Leo cartoonist has also added his voice on the saga, making fun of how programmes these days run on the four TV stations.

The cartoonist shows black programmes on the paper, saying that is the way Kenyans these days watch programmes on their screens.

Thankfully, it is reported that the TV stations may go on air as from tomorrow after the impasse was put to bed.

Here is the hilarious photo:

Octopizzo Hangs Out With British High Commissioner And Other Top Diplomats Again!(Photos)

Apart from music, what else would prove Octopizzo is a highly rated rapper in the country other than rubbing shoulders with top diplomats?

Octopizzo is turning out to be the darling of many ambassadors in the country. The rapper frequently mingles with foreign envoys. He is not a new face to both American and British emissaries.

The ‘Something For You’ hit maker has recently been doing lots of projects that have connections with American and American consuls.

This is When Your TV channels Will Return To Air

Can I get a  “Phew!” anyone? Yes? Seems like the nearndathal days are over, you can all thank the gods over dinner because the crises has been resolved. The Tvs  channels will be back on air tomorrow.

The media owners have been in a meeting with the president and the Parliamentary committee at statehouse, the meeting that took hours  was aimed at resolving the current crises in the country that saw a section of the media houses go off air in accordance with the CCK laws.

The good news is that they have been given a grace period to import their own decoders as pre-agreed. The bad news is that we don’t know how effective this will be, owing to the fact that a majority of Kenyans already have Go Tv, Star time decoders and other  generic decoders.

But time will tell.

He May Have Left Gospel, But Docta Eddie Has Still Got It

According to National Transport and Safety Authority, Kenya lost 3,218 lives on the roads in 2013 alone with the figure decreasing just a little bit to 2,907 lives in 2014.

With a debut single titled Safari in which he draws inspiration from based on his life experience where he unfortunately lost his mother and most recently the youngest brother to this menace, the jam takes a central focus to the daily stupid recklessness among motorists, passengers and pedestrians that end up causing road accidents where he confronts head-on one of the biggest disasters facing Kenyans on roads.

Ladies and gentlemen, performed by Elee Elee music & Kimberly (The girl in the video), directed and shot by Docta Eddie at Dreamland Music Entertainment, we are glad to present to you this thrilling video trailer as you aspire to always drive safely. The official release will be in a fortnight time with details to be revealed.

Audio Produced by Ihaji and recorded at Global Youth Groove studios, Elee Elee music is backed by lovely sound vocals of and Ciku on the hook to who undeniably add a sense of completion to the song.

Who Knew Julie Gichuru Was This Flexible? See What She Did At State House (Photo)

Today TV sirens and other celebrities were in State House, flexing their muscles in preparation for the beyond zero campaign marathon to be held later this month.

Carol Radull, Caroline Mutoko, Yvonne Okwara, Sharon Mundia were among the lasses in the early morning preparations for the Beyond Zero.

The mademoiselles were invited to join the first lady to push the campaign further.

And as expected, they took to the field to jog and flex their muscles. But Citizen TV’s Julie Gichuru looked to have mastered every skill as she impressed in the morning warm-up exercise.

One thing came out clearly: Julie is as flexible as none of us thought.

Check out how she did it:

This is What GBS Presenter Brian Ogana Does When He Is Not On Air (Photos)

You have probably have spotted him as the debonair dresser on GBS, but for those who have not met him, meet Brian Ogana.

He is the face of the popular G.B.S TV Home Shopping Channel. But there is more to him than the compelling persona, the authoritative voice and the fashion suaveness he possesses, he has a drive in giving back.

And this is how he spends his off duty time from the studio, donating sanitary pads to the less fortunate students in secondary schools. He has a program dubbed the ‘Futurists of Tomorrow’ under the umbrella Ident, which has incorporated young men and women in giving back. This was at Ngara Girls High school.

After Offering Her Body For Sale, Former Presidential Hopeful Wants To Get Saved. But Not Before She Gets A Pastor To Her Bed

Former Presidential candidate, Kingwa Kamencu, has offered to give her life to the Lord. There is a catch though, one tiny winny thing before she let’s go of her dirty past.

Just last week, Kamencu gave team Mafisi a generous Valentine’s offer. She was selling her body for Kes 5 million for anyone who wanted to smash her.

It appears the titillating provocateur has finally gotten tired of living a life as a promiscuous woman. She wants to put an end to naughty stuff that she has been doing.

But before she can even accept Christ, Kamencu wants to get a handsome man of the cloth into her bed. She says that would be the only way she can turn a new leaf.

kamencu.png

After much thought, i have decided that i will give my life to the Lord. This means that all those years of naughty pictures, dirty messages, pornographic stories and vulgar status updates will come to an end.

Once i get this handsome pastor into my bed, i will finally be a new woman.

(Any tips on biblical quotes i can use to seduce him will be appreciated)
