Bahati launched a scathing attack on Willy Paul three weeks ago, accusing him of stealing some of his songs by colluding with producers.

Willy Paul went ahead to release one of the songs he had been accused of stealing just a day after Bahati penned a long Facebook post.

He, however, remained quiet and continued with his controversies like nothing never happened.

And now Willy Paul is at the centre-stage of controversy once again after his mother came out and strongly accused her son for neglecting her and looking down upon her.

Bahati went ahead to say he has forgiven Willy Paul for stealing his songs.

Gospel singer Pitson, famously known for his hits Lingala Ya Yesu and Kilele, has applauded Bahati for embracing forgiveness and courage to move on.

Even though Pitson was not clear whether he was speaking to Bahati, his statement comes at a time when Bahati declared that he has forgiven Willy Paul and moved on.

Pitson said:

If you thought Sauti Sol was only inspirational to common folks, then you are mistaken, some celebrities are also moved by their great artistry.

Today Sauti Sol made history again, the quartet dropped their new jam featuring Amos and Josh which has already gone viral.

‘Nerea’ has been one of the hottest topics on twitter since early morning. The song is currently trending second (earlier it was the most trending topic) on twitter.

I had earlier stated the song evokes emotions and this has been evident in Grace Msalame.

The song reminded Grace of her past, she was so touched that she decided to share something about herself.

By now you probably know ‘Nerea’ is advocating for an end to abortion, that’s the core message in the song. If you didn’t know now you are aware.

Back to Grace, she revealed she got pregnant when the worst had happened; she had lost her father. Her family was struggling to make ends meet and Grace was there fully expectant. You can imagine what crisscrossed her brain.

Bahati and Willy Paul have been headlines ever since the former threw a tantrum at the latter, accusing him of stealing his songs and making them his own, purposely to bring his career down.

Even though Bahati came out again to say he has forgiven his nemesis, the controversial Willy Paul has said nothing since the allegations surfaced. Instead, he has gone ahead to release one of the songs he allegedly stole from Bahati.

And now after the two, it is time for DK Kwenye Beat and DNG.

In a recent show, DK Kwenye Beat was heard publicly dissing his colleague DNG.

DK said that he is saved and can never backslide like DNG, meaning that DNG has terribly backslid and needs redemption.

The latest dis is an indication that enmity is rife among gospel singers and this is threatening to plunge the industry into limbo.

She told us that that she was SHOCKED that Willy Paul was parading some mysterious woman on social Media and calling her his ‘Mom”,she told us that,contrary to the Willy Paul lie that she has cancer,she ACTUALLY doesn’t have cancer,she told us that Willy Paul’s a perennial liar whose been lying to her over and over,promising her that he will soon lift her from the life of poverty but,5 years later,he’s done nothing.

She told us that Willy Paul is NOT comfortable with parading her on Social Media,she told us that Willy Paul has a very bad temper,she told us that Willy Paul has been promising to move her out of Mathare but still HAS NEVER fulfilled his promise,she told us that she prays for a better life day and night and told us that she has NEVER set foot at Willy Paul’s house…for years,now.

She appeared pained. And spurned. Her every word was uttered in regret and still,covered in a mother’s love…A mother who,despite the hopelessness she’s been mired in,still showed unconditional love to her prodigal son. And still defended him in the light of all the scandals her son has been embroiled in lately.

Despite her beggary,Mama loves her boy. She does.

Today celebrities are deciding their fate, they will be voting in leaders who will be representing them in the music regulatory body.

Voting has already begun for the MCSK election that is currently underway at the Nyayo National Stadium.

14 candidates will be voted in for various slots being contested. The Director’s seat for Nairobi is however the hotly contested seat that has seen artists split along allegiance lines.

The two celebrities facing off for the post, Lady Bee and Frasha have both casted their votes but the former was engaged in an electoral malpractice.

She took a photo of a ballot paper showing the candidate she had voted for and shared it on social media. This is considered an electoral malpractice since it’s a secret ballot.

Will there be a penalty for Lady Bee’s action? Guess it’s up to the electoral officials to decide that. Anyway, check out photos of the three celebrities casting their votes below:

 

Three weeks ago gospel heartthrob Bahati caused a stir on the social media when he launched a scathing attack on his colleague Willy Paul Msafi and accused him of stealing his songs by colluding with producers like Teddy B.

Bahati’s allegations caused a stir on the social media, with many taking it upon themselves to bash, ridicule and abuse Willy Paul for being a thief.

Willy Paul, however, uttered no word and instead went ahead to release one of the songs he allegedly stole from Bahati.

The singer (Willy Paul) has again hit the headlines today after her biological mother opened up about her son and how he has neglected her as he lives large in the leafy Nairobi suburbs. His mother opened up yesterday on how Willy Paul has been abandoning her as she languishes in abject in Mathare slums area 3 while he enjoys publicity in the country.

She also lamented that Willy Paul has been flaunting another woman whom he claims is his mother while looking down upon her biological mother.

Despite all these allegations, Willy Paul’s mother was still standing by her son when she admitted that Bahati has been lying to the public that Willy Paul steals his songs.

She even went ahead to produce some evidence of some of the songs Willy Paul used to write and left in her house before he went to live in a posh area in the capital.

She accused Bahati of tainting her son’s name by lying to the public that he (Willy) is a thief. She defended him saying that he writes his own songs almost always and that he has never stolen anyone’s song.

By now we all know that Nonini has been rallying his support behind gospel songstress Lady Bee for the Director of the Music Copyright Society of Kenya (MCSK) seat.

His support for Lady Bee saw him rub shoulders the wrong way with P-Unit’s Frasha on April Fools Day when Nonini drew a prank that Frasha had opted to relinquish his desire for the seat in favour of Lady Bee.

The day is finally here and all roads lead to Nyayo National stadium where artistes from across the country will be casting their votes for the director of their choice.

Nonini has once again reminded his fans that his full weight is thrown on Lady Bee for the seat.

But what has Nonini been knowing all along about Lady Bee? Well, he has finally revealed it all and the reasons why he threw his support for the gospel artiste.

Kenya’s most revered music group, Sauti Sol, did it again! This time round they courted the sweet mellowed Amos and Josh to drop a track that will evoke your emotions.

Sauti Sol rarely disappoint, whether on stage or when releasing a new track. It seems they know the perfect doze for our ears. They have teamed up with Amos and Josh to conjure up the perfect melody that has a soothing effect on your feelings.

‘Nerea’ (Sauti Sol and Amos & Josh’s song) gives hope while applauding every day hustle in Africa, it celebrates all human achievement, whether considered big or small.

The six singers warn Nerea not to abort their pregnancy reminding her the fetus could be Obama, Wangari Maathai or any other global icon. (Written words may sound clumsy but of cause they did it nicely in the song)

Tomorrow marks a new dawn in Kenyan music industry. It will be the day when winners will be crowned and losers will have to blame their campaign strategies.

The much awaited MSCK elections will be happening tomorrow at Nyayo Stadium. A total of 14 contestants will be battling it out for various posts within the music regulatory body.

Contestants have been carrying out last minute vote hunts in a bid to woo undecided voters to their sides.

About 3,600 active members are expected to vote in 14 candidates eying the contested seats. The election is said to be the most competitive in the history of MCSK.

The hotly contested seat is that one of Nairobi Director’s post where two celebrities, Lady Bee and Frasha, will be facing off.

The two have been on top MSCK elections dominating headlines with a brawl involving Lady Bee’s esteemed supporter, Nonini and her nemesis, Frasha.

It will be interesting to see who will emerge as the winner. My invalid vote goes for… I will tell you tomorrow, just remind me!

 

The wise old men sat down many years ago and in their musings, they came up with this ‘It is  very hard to teach an old hound (dog for you) new tricks. Forget hard, It is pretty impossible to teach an old dog new tricks. Willy Paul,a sweet-voiced (No,seriously) Gospel whiz kid who burst into the industry some 5 years ago with the Industry-changing,tide-swerving smash hit Sitolia in collaboration with the self-effacing Gloria Muliro. That song introduced us to the kid…And,lord,oh,lord,were we hypnotized.

But wait…Willy Paul,we very soon found out,was not the demure,innocuous kid we all foolishly thought he was. No,behind the scripture-quoting facade,was a ruthless schemer,libidinous casanova,egocentric bighead and conniving dark soul.

No sooner had his songs hit the top of the charts than Willy Paul started beefing with his female collaborator,picking haphazard fights with some random people,flaunting his wealth and manufactured girlfriends and exhibiting a host of other very UnChristly behaviors both on and off social media.

Still,we forgave him. And pardoned him for his age…I mean,he was a Gospel boy. And sure,he’d repent. Or so we thought.

But just when we thought he had repented and turned his back on his fiendish ways,the boy was back….This time with a bigger…a grander scandal…And,bullishly,refusing to apologize,address his demons,seek help or show even the slightest remorse.

He’s not just famous for flagrantly stealing and re-working other people’s songs,but also for that very infamous KICC panty-business with that very obscure ‘socialite’ and,more recently,for being the first unabashed Gospel Artist to instigate the very first Public Gospel Beef between two industry players Cue,Bahati.

Well,the boy keeps winning. Especially in the scandal department.

If you thought you’ve seen it all,heard it all,read it all and imagined it all as far as Mr. Paul was concerned,well,I got news Baby,You ain’t heard nuthin yet! Nuthing yet! Cuz what we are about to expose on him tomorrow is,ummm,to use the simplest word, Earth-Shattering!

What this kid’s been embroiled in now is,ummm,how shall I describe it? Revolting? Repugnant? Appalling? Satanic? UnAfrican? Well,You’ll get to figure it out for yourself…after reading the explosive article.

As if been such a douchebag is really not enough,especially for  man who PRETENDS to ply his dubious trade in the Name of The Good Lord,Willy Paul has now BEEN EXPOSED. Not by a Gospel Artiste,or some producer,or DJ,Or TV host,or some jealous girl…Naaaah,but by the closest of close relatives. CLOSEST! Ouch!

What King Willy has been doing deserves the strongest condemnation..Not just from God-fearing mortals but from pretty much ANY living soul! Any fuckin’ living soul!
