They have all made a name for themselves in various fields. Some of them are acclaimed actors, others popular D.Js and others certified hit makers.
They come from different fields but they all have one thing in common, their parents were all powerful political figures at one point in time.
1. Gichboy a DJ and the late Minister for Finance and Githunguri MP Arthur Magugu

Gichboy was once known as one of Bamzigi’s hype men/sidekicks and for hosting one of the most famous gigs in the country Sexxy Saturdays, while his late father was known as the longest serving MP for Githunguri Constituency(1969 to 1988 and from 2002 to 2007) .
He was also a minister who served during the Moi administration from 1982 to 1988.
2. Bernard Ndong’ Citizen TV’s Sports Anchor and Ray O. Ndong’

In 1990 Ray O. Ndong’ was voted in as an MP at a by-election for Rangwe Constituency in Homa Bay county.He belonged to the KANU party back when Kenya had a One-party system.
3. Lupita Nyong’o and Anyang’ Nyong’o

Anyang’ was once the Minister for Medical Services and also the Minister for Planning & National Development back in the day. But now serves as the Senator for Kisumu County.
Lupita Nyong’o is an Oscar, BET, MTV and SAG winner and one of the most famous actresses from award-winning movie 12 Years a Slave.
4. Big Pin and Elijah Mwangale

The late Elijah Wasike Mwangale served as a minister for Agriculture and as a Minister of Foreign Affairs and a former Member Of Parliament of Kimilili Constituency. He is the father to Christopher ‘Big Pin’ Mwangale
5. Debra Sanipei and Ole Ntimama

Debra Sanipei is known as a former Miss Tourism Kenya while her dad Ole Ntimama is known as one of the longest serving M.P’s who also served as Former Heritage minister. He retired form his long illustrious political career about 2 years ago leaving politics to the young blood.
6. Mkamzee Mwatela and MP Calistu Mwatela

‘Mali’ and ‘Stay’actress Mkamzee Chao Mwatela comes from a very powerful family. Her dad Calistus was the former Mwatate M.P while her mum Jacinta Mwatela was a Former Central Bank deputy governor .
7. Zachary and George Saitoti

Zachary’s dad George Saitoti was among the most beloved politicians but his son has also made a name for himself as a high-browed photographer.
He works as a Freelance Photographer, Graphic Designer and Proprietor of Shifteye Gallery. The Gallery is located at the Priory building in Hurlingham
8. Former Miss Kenya Emma Too

The timeless beauty’s father is said to have been a part of her clique of relatives close to power during the Moi Regime.
9. Muhoho Kenyatta and Uhuru Kenyatta

At only 19, president Uhuru’s last born son, Muhoho Kenyatta is carving a niche for himself in the fashion world. He is the brainchild behind Nomadic designs which enjoyed a moment in the sun at the Origin Africa Exhibition and Fashion event held at the Intercontinental Hotel in Nairobi.
10. Jacob and Peter Kaimenyi (a.k.a Kajairo)

I was shocked to learn that the father to Peter Kaimenyi (a.k.a Kajairo) is the famous Jacob Kaimenyi who was picked by President Uhuru Kenyatta as a Cabinet Secretary for Education.
