NTV’s Larry Madowo sat down with Nancy Baraza to shed light on the incident that saw her lose her job as the second in command in judiciary.
Classic FM’s Maina Kageni was among the people Nancy blamed for her misery.
Maina this morning responded to Ms. Baraza’s claim in a bid to clear his name of any wrong doings. He denied claiming he discussed Ms. Nancy purchasing condoms and vibrator on his show.
The Classic FM presenter even said he was ready to meet the former Deputy Chief Justice to set the record straight.

So sad! The sister to fallen queen of gospel music was found dead in the bathroom this past Saturday!
Angela Chibalonzo was the undisputed queen of gospel music. The fallen Congolese singer mentored the likes of Solomon Mkubwa and also welcomed her family and other musicians from her native to settle in Kenya.
This past weekend, the country was shocked to learn that Angela’s sister had passed on. Mammy Runiga was found dead in her apartment in Nyayo Estate Embakasi.
Reports indicate Ms. Runiga collapsed in her bathroom and died. The house help says her employer had gone to take a shower but she overstayed in there.
Her daughter who wanted to use the bathroom knocked the door repeatedly and it was her mom’s lack response that raised her curiosity.
She called the house girl and neighbors who assisted her to open the door only to find Ms. Runiga had collapsed.
Solomon Mkubwa, who stays nearby, was among the team that rushed Chibalonza’s sister to Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) where she was confirmed dead.
Congolese nationals led by Gloria Muliro’s ex hubby, Pastor Eric Omba, have been mourning the death of their compatriot.
“Am so sad & Very Sad ,my Sister in Christ Mammy Runiga, the Sister to Late Angela Chibalonza Is died. May God be with her. RIP My Dear Sister .We shall meet in Heaven.” Wrote Eric.

Well, there is a new controversy coming out alleging that he did not invite his father to the birthday celebrating 40 days after her birth. Abdul Juma, who is Diamond’s father was talking to Clouds TV when he revealed that he only came to learn of the party through newspapers and that he broke down in tears for failing the chance to meet his grand daughter.
The sad father said he was deeply hurt and that the only communication he got from was a call informing him of Tiffah’s birth and this is despite being in communication with Diamond’s mum. Diamond has never been in good terms with the father.
The father left his mother when Diamond was only six years old. His mother was left to fend for the young Diamond even selling her gold ring just to help the artiste record his first song.

Twitter bigwig, Cyprian Nyakundi, doesn’t accept pocket-change ‘bribe’! Caroline Mutoko ought to have increased the amount and MAYBE Cyprian would have considered taking her cheque.
Cyprian Nyakundi and Caroline Mutoko have been exchanging fire ever since the former went HAM on her claiming she was involved in some sort of prostitution.
Last week, the former radio queen wrote Nyakundi a Kes 10,000 cheque for vomiting on her well-manicured reputation.

Kizza Besigye has unsuccessfully tried to oust Museveni in three successive presidential elections, and this year’s all signs are still indicating he won’t manage.
Even so, there have been whispers that Ugandans will go the Kenyan 2007/2008 way if Museveni clinches power again.

Over the past weekend, the President flew to the Lakeside City of Kisumu where another ugly scene was witnessed!
Another case of political intolerance was witnessed in Kisumu City when rowdy residents compelled the head of state to cut short his speech.
President Uhuru jetted to Kisumu this past Sunday for the official opening of the Seventh Day Adventist Church West Kenya Union Headquarters.
The President’s convoy snaked through the streets of Kisumu as he greeted residents but it was in Kondele where things turned dirty.
The President stopped to address a crowd that didn’t lend him their ears. Angry residents chanted opposition slogans prompted the president to cut short his speech.

She was as ferocious as they came… Brushing many a shoulders the wrong way,blasting errant public servants,calling up and lecturing feared parliamentarians on air,sparring with the tenacious Martha Karua in an epic battle that spilled over to the Courts and drawing the ire of the oft-untamed Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko.
She tackled her topics with the sort of bare-knucklism reserved for a select few; strode like a colossus allover radio,seeming untouchable and unbowed,launching herself into fights normal people would take stay clear off and presenting herself as the Ultimate Media Tigress- Wild,feral,pugnacious.
Her subjects,it is said,were as wary of if her as you would be of a loose black mamba… Her paths were not to be crossed and her edicts would be carried out with the efficiency of the scared little servants who work under the cold-hearted Mother of Fashion,Anna Wintour.
She was the Media’s undisputed Iron Lady,Our female answer to Rush Limbaugh.
For very many years,Caroline Mutoko loathed publicity and often scorned on people referring to her as a Celebrity. She also,I am told,used to have a very big problem with Ghafla writers and general bloggers who would refer to her as a ‘Celebrity’. She loathed any form of media publicity,would get worked up at any blog mention and seemed to brook very patience for anyone who did not just mention her name in vain but also misspelt it as was evidenced by the innocent little girl who would errantly call her ‘Carol’ instead of ‘Caro’ on Facebook thus provoking the Radio Queen’s anger the results of which spawned the greatest hate on the Radio Empress ever witnessed.
A Facebook Page,actually Pages like ‘R. I. P Caroline Mutoko’ even sufficed. Yes,clever trolls even callously twisted her first name to ‘Mtaroline’ and last name to ‘Matako’ and what a blissful day it was on Social Media.
Back then,Caroline Mutoko was everyone’s enemy. She was hard to please,contemptuous,had poor communication skills,was fond of trashing and belittling social media users,had scorn for pretty much everyone and would erupt in epic proportions of anger and indignation at the slightest provocation.

She was a rich,aloof fool… Out of touch with the regular Facebook user and with very little patience for the little dumbass bastards who would dare question her,address her,piss her off or challenge her to a duel.
Her Facebook page too,back then,was a dark alley of bitter rants,outbursts,scathing attacks and pure venom.
And then she left radio… Retreating to the complex Radio Africa backwaters,to produce,oversee,mentor,preside…
No longer on radio,no longer able to incite and attack and fight… No longer able to cause social media upheavals,rub people the wrong way,lash out at social misfits and growl at our oft-stupid leaders,Caro felt powerless.
She,it appears,loathed the fact that she couldn’t inspire controversies any more… Get tongues wagging anymore and recruit zealots who would swear by her convolutions.
And that’s how her YouTube channel was born. On it,she started uploading little home videos of herself musing on various national issues,tackling a myriad of subjects,commenting on the week’s hottest topics and offering her insight and verbal commentary on pretty much anything. On YouTube,Caro found a home,an audience,a thirsty band of regurgitated adherents who still swore by her name and who had,for years,deified her.
But with the death of her legendary radio show,and the demise of her ubiquitous voice,so came the birth of a mellower,sweeter and more reasonable Caro.
Away from the pressures of radio,and having to constantly fulfill her audience’s desire for sleaze and combativeness,Caro got born again.
She quickly realized that not all issues were to be settled by violence … She started becoming all of a sudden active on Facebook,started,after much reluctance,a Twitter account littered with love and inspiration,started seeing the World from the eye of the Social Media and started treating the regular Facebook user as a human being and not the rot and garbage she always viewed them as.
She opened her heart and let her ‘fans’ into her soul… Started smiling more in photos – and uploading more photos-and even started a shocking trend of her REPLYING to People’s comments on her Facebook posts.
This new Caro even started uploading viral stuff – funny,silly memes and Trending stupidities – to keep her audience abreast. And hooked.
She stopped blasting the innocent souls who had the chutzpah to inbox her their nonsensities and quit attacking the chaps who would,for fun or otherwise,ask her silly things on her Facebook wall.
She was,all of a sudden,a whole new woman! The anger was gone,the combativeness was gone,the ferociousness was gone,the terror was gone.
Within a very short time,Caro moved from a terrifying Media terrorist to a little punchy cute puppy.
Even when libelously attacked by repugnant bloggers (Like Alai) she smiled,wished them all the best and philosophized them away… With a few smile emojis,virtual champagne and a couple roses.
And then when less successful and epically broke bloggers came at her (Read Nyakundi) she laughed them away,satirized their efforts,hilariously highlighted their financial struggles and even wrote them a check!
Her activities on Facebook,too,mirrored those of an attention-loving teenager… She started posting the type of stuff you saw on your 19-year old cousin’s wall,laughing at the type of stuff you and your struggling gang of fellow barmaids found funny and sharing some very uncharacteristically Caroline stuff.
She morphed from a monster to a cherubim in a matter of months…She suddenly came down from her vaunted Tower…She became human,she became one of us.
It now became harder to draw her ire,harder to get her to join in in your silly fistfights and harder to drag her to your level of combat and explosive showdowns.
She also became a mother… Probably found love-and good sex-and left the World of unbridled bitterness,saltiness,unpleasantness and terrorsome abrasiveness.
The pride was gone. So was the conceitedness,the arrogance,the nasty attitude.

A few minutes ago, I was in a banking hall, and one young man walked in and I must admit i was amused at how he looked. Studded ears, piercings on both noses and the neck and whoa! whoa! Tattoos everywhere!
That just took me back to 2012 when I was influenced by rock music; I too bought a few Goth tees and accessories, downloaded tonnes of Green Day, Cold Play, R.H.C.P name it, just to look the part but never got to that kid’s level.
In fact I bought a guitar too but never got to play it because I gave up learning and reading music sheets. It does not however mean that I gave on up music, no! Am still a very big fan and a close friend of mine, made it through and joined with other rock stars to form a band..RASH BAND.
And last year 2015, they had a big break, they were everywhere in concerts and media and looks like rock is finally rooting down deep and fast.

She has a beautiful 9-year-old daughter called Imani. Terryanne single-handedly brought up her daughter.
George Kirumburu Ng’ang’a , an actor-cum-producer, is said to be the biological father of Terryanne’s daughter.

Mike Sonko joined politics as Makadara MP on a Narc-Kenya ticket, a party that sponsored Martha Karua to vie for presidency.
Baba Salma ditched Martha Karua’s Narc-Kenya and joined TNA to vie for Nairobi Senatorial seat which he won convincingly.
Sonko is now eying Nairobi gubernatorial seat and Martha Karua too is reportedly being groomed by Cord for Nairobi Senatorial seat come 2017.
Today, the philanthropic Nairobi Senator clashed with Martha Karua and the iron lady responded by blocking him on Twitter.
The beef started when one Mr. Nyoike said Martha Karua’s Narc Kenya was the vehicle that brought Sonko and Kiambu Governor, William Kabogo to parliament.
Karua tweeted back saying she disciplined them when it became necessary. Sonko fired back and he was blocked. It’s not clear what Sonko told Karua (the tweet has been pulled down) to annoy her that much that she decided to block him. Apparently they were exchanging fire!
“So unfortunate that Ms. Karua has blocked me on Twitter. As a leader that I respect, you need to be tolerant madam.” Sonko tweeted to reveal Karua had blocked him.

Alego Central MCA Leonard Oriaro, told the Star newspaper the father to Machakos County governor, Dr. Alfred Mutua, is a jang’o from Siaya County.
The MCA says Mutua is welcome to challenge Cornel Rasanga Amoth for Siaya gubernatorial seat since he has Luo blood in his DNA.
Mr. Oriaro says Alfred Mutua’s father is called Habil Otieno Lut from Kalenjuok village in his ward. He even said Mutua used to be called Alfred Otieno Odango.
The MCA further revealed Mutua’s father sired three children with his Kamba wife adding that Dr. Mutua’s sister works for Sabena Airlines in Brussels, Belgium while his younger brother had passed on.
Mr. Oriaro claims the Machakos Governor was in Siaya over the past weekend to bury a relative but his presence was not felt since Luo kingpin, Raila Odinga, was holding a memorial for his deceased father, Odinga Oginga and son, Fidel Odinga.
Dr. Mutua however told the Star only his aunt was married in Siaya downgrading claims he had roots in Luo Nyanza. He says he was in Bondo over the past weekend to bury the father to former cabinet minister, Raphael Tuju.

Last year, a Ugandan tabloid maliciously reported that Gerald Ojok was a disgruntled man after his famous wife Anne Kansiime did not give him children in their three years of marriage.

Following the outrageous accusations many expected Caroline Mutoko to come at Nyakundi with all she got. But it seems that Caroline could not be bothered to respond to Nyakundi and has kept her silence and cool on the issue, going on with life like the accusations were water of her back.
Maina Kageni whose name was also dragged into the succinctly written piece as usual ignored all the accusations leveled at him and continued promoting an upcoming event.
Yesterday, many of us were left shell-shocked after activist Boniface Mwangi shared the videos of a pregnant woman who was beaten and left bleeding by her husband. You would be forgiven to think that a mob had beaten her up, but sadly it’s the husband who had beaten her up without any fear of getting caught on camera.
The woman identified as Justa Kawira had initially refused to press charges but Boniface Mwangi revealed that she had a change of mind and has decided to get a lawyer to pursue the case. Meanwhile, she is recovering at Lang’ata Hospital and they have found a safe house where she can live in after getting discharged.
Boniface also revealed that the woman was amazed by the support Kenyans had given her and also explained why the neighbors looked like they were not helping the woman as she got beaten. A neighbor who shared the video also revealed that Kawira had a miscarriage last year after her husband stabbed her and she also lost 2 front teeth. Yikes!
“I have met her and she is amazed by the outpouring of support the video and images has brought. You can visit her at Langata Hospital. I have met the neighbor who shot the video and he says neighbors got tired of stopping the abuse and he decided to film evidence. Last year the husband stabbed her; she had a miscarriage and lost two front teeth.”
Kenya is preparing to host hundreds of government dignitaries, the academic community, students and guests for the fifth edition of the prestigious DStv Eutelsat Star Awards on 9th February 2016.
The DStv Eutelsat Star Awards is organized by MultiChoice Africa and Eutelsat and was started in 1999 to create meaningful engagement with students, the academic community and the scientific world.
The Eutelsat Star Awards competition is open to all learners between the age of 14 and 19 who are expected to write an essay or design a poster on how satellites have helped understand and take care of our planet.
Kenya will have two finalists in the both the poster and essay writing categories who compete with 36 other finalists from East, West, Central and South Africa for the coveted prize which is a trip for two to Eutelsat in Paris and onwards to a rocket launch.
In 2012, Kenyan student, Eva Chemwgorem won the Best Poster Award for her work titled “Africa united through satellites.” Eva got a chance to visit Eutelsat’s Paris headquarters where she learnt more on satellite technology.
This year’s edition of the DStv Eutelsat Star Awards received a record 1959 entries, almost doubling entries in 2014 and showing the increasing interest in this unique event.
Since it was set up in 2011 by MultiChoice Africa and Eutelsat, the DStv Eutelsat Star Awards has attracted the interest of over 5000 students across the continent and more than met its goal to invigorate a passion for science and technology in secondary school. ESA (European Space Agency) astronaut Paolo Nespoli is presiding over the Awards as Jury Chairman for the third year in a row, assisted by an international panel of skilled industry experts: Ronke Bello, CEO at Innovative Technology Literacy Services Ltd, Nigeria; Dr Jane Munga, Policy Advisor, Kenyan Ministry of Information, Communication, Technology and Research; Dr. Perkins Muredzi, Dean of School of Industrial Sciences and Technology, Harare Institute of Technology (HIT); Melt Loubser, GM: Broadcast Technology, MultiChoice Africa and Rodney Benn, Regional Director, Eutelsat.
Nespoli has an illustrious career spanning stints at the European Astronaut Centre (ESA/EAC) and NASA’s Johnson Space Centre in Houston before being selected by the Italian Space Agency to fly as an ESA astronaut. Besides crewing on the 2007 Discovery shuttle mission, Nespoli spent over five months in space aboard the International Space Station (ISS) where he was responsible for a range of science and technology experiments and educational activities. He is preparing a third trip into space in 2017 to the International Space Station where he will spend five-months. Students in Nairobi will this year have the opportunity to meet him during an outreach event where he will share his adventures in space.
