In the midst of all the flowery comments there is always that ‘you ain’t sh*t’ comment that’s sends you over the edge. You could have 100 positive comments but there is that one that burns the most and maybe that is why Avril descended on a ‘fan’ after the said ‘fan’ decided to ‘roast’ her.

Earlier, today a girl by the name Intisar Bint Ali known in the showbiz circles simply as Alii took to social media to expose her ex who is a popular musician.

Intisar accused Ngalah from the Yunasi Band of impregnating her then making away with her laptops. In a message sent to Ghafla Alii wrote:

“I was seeing Ngalah and he never told me he was married then he asked me to appear in his video and he will pay me. So I find out he is married, he was playing me and now he doesn’t want to pay me and he has blocked me everywhere.Now that I’m pregnant, he has blocked me and he has refused with 2 of my Apple laptops I gave him to use.”

 

 

After this statement Alii went on to issue threats “The music video is not going to be released until he pays me 100k and return and I’m not going to do an abortion his wife has to know about this “she angrily hissed before threatening to leak their private photos .

Since there are two sides to every story we sought out Ngalah for his comments and this is what he said:

“Some of the information she has given you is partly true, I dated her a while back and she was in my video. That said, she offered to star in my video for free then she demanded the money. I told her I did not have that kind of money (100,000 Kshs) and that is when she went loco on me and called the Parklands police on me.”

 

He then continues.”She comes back this year saying she is pregnant, and yet we broke up about a year ago so it does not make sense she is pregnant since we have not been intimate. I asked her we visit the gynecologist to confirm if she was indeed pregnant and she refused.”

“In addition, those laptops were mine and I took them back.” he said before adding “She is just soiling my name, she is a socialite so I guess it’s good for her CV.”

“And what about the said explicit photos she threatened to leak?” We asked

“We took those photos when we were in a relationship so it would be wrong to leak them.”He concluded.

Gloria Muliro had quite a surprise party for her birthday when she walked home yesterday.

Nairobi Senator plans to succeed Kidero as the second governor of Nairobi County. But the position comes with its own requirements that have forced Sonko to ‘stoop low’.

Popular electro, funk and afro band Just A Band are taking a break from music.

The band now made of three members, Blinky Bill, Daniel and Mbithi have been doing music together since 2008 and they have decided to take a break, at least as a group.

Posting on their blog, the group said. ‘We’ve come to the point where a refresh is in order. And fortunately, the band has been super successful in one of its main goals since its inception: to open up opportunities for each of us in the collective to explore and express ourselves in all the manners and media and forms that we find compelling. For this, we can’t thank you all enough.

We feel that Just A Band will be stronger as a unit for us taking the time to explore these paths and become stronger as individuals. We shall return as Voltron! (As opposed to the Ninja Turtles, haha.)

Blinky Bill has been doing his own individual projects for a while now and he is set up to release his album late in this year. The group has lined up two shows this week and a later one to mark the last time the group will be performing together. They have also left a single for their fans.

There has been tension at University of Nairobi ever since Babu Owino was re-elected as SONU chairman.

The genesis of Wizkid/ Linda Ikeji brawl was the report by Linda on her blog. She said Wizkid had been served with an eviction notice from his Lekki home adding that she thought the singer had bought the house.

Wizkid caught hormones and decided to strip her. He called her ugly old bitch who couldn’t be married by any man.

So my darling little ‘friend’ Wizkid came on my IG page this morning to blast me for writing yesterday that he was given quit notice at the Lekki home he claimed he bought some years ago, which he actually rented. He threatened to beat me up…called me an ugly old bitch…(I’m ugly? lol) says I don’t have a man (crying over that..) and called my mum a loser…(what a child).

Anyway, all that don’t matter, people have said worse to me…what I wanted to address is the part where he said I slept with his director and he left me in a hotel…that one I will definitely want to address because some people actually believe it. That my dear friends, is a lie! Please continue…

First and foremost, I’ve never met Wizkid one on one. I’ve only seen him once in real life on stage at a show a few years ago. I’ve never met anybody who is his director. Guess he put that line in his comments to defame me. You that mad that people now know the house is not yours? Lol.

Trust me, if I knew someone was Wizkid’s director, I’d rather kill myself than sleep with him or any other entertainer for that matter (except maybe he’s my husband..hehe) because I know how some of these entertainers are…they kiss and tell a lot. You can’t afford to be messing around in their circle. So, no, I have NEVER slept with Wizkid’s director. I live a celibate life..most of the time. (Though, that has to end soon…I’m getting old and missing out on that part of life…lol)

I’ve always been an advocate of women respecting their bodies and owning their own. And I feel sex should only happen when you’re in committed relationship (that is if you can’t wait till marriage) and I recommend celibacy for a long as you’re not committed to someone. There’s absolutely no dignity in sleeping around and messing around with different men. It’s ugly and God don’t like ugly. So no, I’m not that woman, and will never be that woman. Nice try, Wizkid!

Having said that, I’m sure, you wonder why Wizkid is so mad at me? To be honest, I don’t know either. All I know is that his beef with me started a long time ago but he decided to start bashing me online after I refused a meeting with him. A few months ago, he asked his PR people to contact me, that he wanted to talk to me. For some reason, he thought I didn’t like him and I was hurting his image online. He wanted to see how I could write more positive things about him but I turned down the meeting. Not that I have anything against him, I sincerely don’t! I think he’s an amazing talent and one of the few music stars in Nigeria with a midas touch. So this wasn’t personal. I just didn’t want to meet him. If he lobbies me then it means I won’t be able to write anything about him anymore…and my job is to write…about everything, including entertainers.

I am cordial with some of them…many of them I have never met. I try to stay away from gatherings where they are because the more friends you make in the entertainment industry, the less you can write. And that will inadvertently affect your work. The few ones that I call acquaintances, it’s hard to write about them because you feel you’re cool with them and even when you write, they call you to complain. So, the fewer ‘friends’ I have in the entertainment industry, the better my job will be.

So Wizkid can bash me all he wants…but I will continue to do my job. Maybe he thinks the more he bashes me, then I will stop writing about him? Won’t work. But meanwhile, if he tells a lie about me, I will address it. LIB plans to be around for a long time…some of these people will come and go! :-).

Citizen TV’s sports anchor-cum-reporter Bernard Ndong has been bereaved. His father lost the battle with cancer a day ago.

Bernard’s father had been fighting the deadly chronic disease for a long time. Cancer has continued to affect celebrities and Kenyans at large.

Just a fortnight ago The Trend panelist Njambi Koikai lost her grandmother to pancreatic cancer.

Nakuru residents helplessly watched as two Kenya Power employees were being ‘fried’ alive while working on a transformer!!!

A bloodcurdling amateur video doing rounds on social media demonstrates the risk Kenya Power employees go through in making sure we have electricity.

Nakuru residents were screaming helplessly as they watched two Kenya power employees working on a transformer next to Ashok Leyland being electrocuted.

Witnesses could do nothing to help them, the bodies of the KPLC employees were dangling on the electric pole minutes after sparks of fire stopped flaring.

Apparently the KPLC workers survived the ordeal and are currently recuperating in the hospital.

Daddy Owen has exchanged vows with longtime sweetheart Farida Wambui at Kenya Assemblies of God church in Buru Buru.

The lovebirds are expected to show up at Radisson Blu hotel where their wedding reception will be held.
