Mwangi Njema has Cerebral palsy a condition that affects his movement and posture, making him dependant on the people around him most notably his mother.

Mwangi’s fortunes however took a turn for the better when he met Jaguar during his performance at the annual Kenyan cerebral palsy walk 2014.This was after he applauded jaguar while he performed .Jaguar invited him on the stage and offered to pay for his physiotherapy sessions.
News reaching us from Jaguar’s fort is that Mwangi is slowly regaining his motor functions.

Jaguar wrote this” I met Mwangi Njema during my performance at the annual Kenyan cerebral palsy walk 2014. Spotted him within the crowd, cheering on a wheel chair… Asked that he join me on stage. Nothing beats a mothers love. She brought him on stage. Promised to cater for Njema’s physiotherapy costs, which I did but barely had time to visit him. I did so recently, and was quite Impressed to see he is slowly regaining his motor functions besides being able to recognize me. Nothing makes me happier. God bless you Njema and God Bless your mum.”

I don’t know about you but I’ve been waiting for this year’s edition of Big Brother Africa with bated breath.

Unfortunately, Biggie’s house got razed down by a mysterious fire but as Lupe Fiasco says “the show must go on”. And going on it will after they find a new venue for the biggest reality television series in Africa.

One of the world’s biggest names in the music business was in the country recently.

His name is Sonu Nigam. He is an award winning Indian Singer whose songs have been used in Hindi and Kannada movies.
He has come out swinging at one of Kenya’s biggest event organisers Contact Network Ltd and Alishaan Entertainment.

Priti is someone who would promise activities on your behalf besides your concert, without your consent, and the other two, will threaten your people in an utterly cocky, contemptuous, ignorant and petty fashion.
Your tech requests will not be paid heed to, your sound and lights will embarrass you midway through the show making the audience feel it would be your fault until you make them aware of the callousness of the people who were supposed to organise all that.

You will be asked to sing with one of the relatives just as you are leaving for the concert. There will be 50 innocent, unsuspecting people waiting zealously for pictures post show below your hotel as they have been promised that. The wife of the owner of the hotel, Kareema will threaten your people about how powerful she is. Even after you would oblige wholeheartedly with the pictures, you’d be told Shelina was sitting far off like an upset child because she’s shocked you are not coming over to her house the next day afternoon as she’s invited 50-60 guests for lunch. Kareema would convey that you better leave Her Hotel Kempinskey cuz she’s really upset. And really powerful. And they are Really Big!

Eventually after all the humiliation and threatening your people would have to receive, no one will check upon you for 2 days. And then you’d come back. Not knowing where you goofed up! Your office did the usual communications pre concert regarding the tech riders etc. You were ready dot on time for the show. You performed to the best of your ability. The twitter and Facebook is going gaga over your performance. You didn’t ask for limousines or massage girls, or abuse the promoters.. You did your job. Your duty is done. Rest everything, should have been requested for, rather than considered the promoter’s birthright.
And then you’d forgive them, and move on just wishing someone Had Warned You!

There are two sides to every story and so we called up Alishaan Entertainment and their representative says that Sonu had diva demands and when they were not met, he was very displeased .And that is why he was complaining because things did not go his way .The representative whom was very cooperative added that they have worked with Sonu before but this time things hit the roof when they did not comply to his impossible demands.

We tried contacting Contact entertainment  as promised earlier but no one was picking up our calls.We will update you on their side of the  story as soon as they pick up our calls.

Even before joing team Ghafla, Cabu Gah commanded such a big following in Facebook a fact which has resulted to him being nominated for the award.

He is probably one of most vocal Kenyans on Facebook commanding a following of close to 14,000 subscribers. He speaks his mind and for this reason I would say he has earned both love and hate to an almost equal measure. Critics will see him as a mere noise maker but if you do care for the truth I would say try read his post without being judgmental of him.

As it turns out Lupita did not win our first Oscar award. Yes as much as it kills me to admit she didn’t. Our first Oscar was won by Ben Kingsley. Just like Obama, Ben is half Kenyan though unlike Obama his mum is English. Ben is the son of a Rahimtulla Harji Bhanji, a Kenyan-born doctor of Gujarati Indian Ismaili Muslim Khoja descent.

Ben whose official names are Krishna Bhanji won an academy award back in 1982 when he played Mohandas Gandhi in the Academy Award-winning film Gandhi. He was named the best actor and here is ben holding his trophy.

Kenyans on twitter are definitely angry at Ugandans after the report about the lost of State House’s BMW took a different twist.

The tag #thingsugandanshouldsteal is trending today on twitter apparently after the saga about the lost presidential BMW being found in Uganda. What really makes Kenyans to fume up is the fact that the car was recovered in Tororo and taken to Kampala but now the Ugandan authority has refused to hand over the car back to Kenya. Ugandan officers are allegedly holding the car on the grounds that the vehicle has become part of a wider Interpol investigation.

Mzee Ojwang (Benson Wanjau) and Mama Kayai (Mama Kayai) met 34 years ago on the set of Darubini, a show that ran for 5 years before its untimely demise.

Darubini was then replaced by Vitimbi which will be celebrating its 29^th birthday.

29 years running for one show is no small fete, it takes legends to pull that off and trust and believe Mama Kayai and Mzee Ojwang’ are legends.

Vitimbi is still as entertaining today as it was two decades ago; if that is not an impressive accomplishment then I don’t know what is. Now Mama Kayai and the cast of Vitimbi have found a new home at Maisha Magic on DStv, Channel 161.

The much missed comedian heartthrob Owago Onyiro is finally back in the country after an almost three months long visit to the land of milk and honey.

As controversial as he always been, Owago Onyiro was surely missed and his fans cannot wait any longer for the comedian to unleash his rib cracking jokes. The comedian was in the USA doing tours around the different states.
